"Who healed him?" Asked Madam Pomfrey, scurrying around the crowded crowd around Remus Lupin. "Mister Potter healed him, according to Mr. Black. "informed McGonagall. "Thank you Minerva, I simply need to ask him about his skills, they're wonderful!" The nurse exclaimed, hurrying over to the short raven-haired-boy.
"Where's Harry?" Remus inquired, peering at his mate over the enormous pile of fluffy, soft blankets that Sirius dumped on him, to 'keep him warm, safe, and snuggly.' "Poppy kept him behind to question about the healing skills." Sirius replied carelessly, flopping next to the grey-brown haired man on the couch. "And you're okay with that?" Remus raised an eyebrow. "I mean, what if she takes him in as her apprentice? He won't have enough time with us, AND you guys just found me." Sirius shot up from the couch immediately, and started pacing around the room. "Your right! What if he takes an apprenticeship? And he'll stop spending time with us…" He trailed off and plopped back onto the couch. "I'm going to get him Rems, will you be okay here alone, for 10 minutes?" "Yup, I need a nap anyway,' was the tired reply. "Great! See you later!" Remus felt the couch shift, and a door closing quietly, a mischievous smirk forming on the werewolf's features. A few minutes later, he was drifting off to sleep, when he heard the hushed whispers coming through the doors, thanks to his werewolf hearing. His 'Fluffy Little Problem's Advantage' according to Sirius.
"Shush, he's asleep."
"You shush, he can't hear us."
"What happened to his 'Super Hearing'? I'm pretty sure you're the one who's been friends with him for like, what, forever?"
"Shut up, and how d'you know he was asleep?"
"Uh, I don't know, maybe you told me like, right after you dragged me out of the Hospital Wing?"
"Oh" Remus felt a small smile flow over his face, and snuggled into the blankets more, waiting for the child, and the man-who-acts-like-a-child to come in, and without meaning to, fell asleep.
A loud noise woke Remus and Sirius up, and in that moment, Remus quickly noted that he was in a soft bed, with Sirius's arms around him. The two males jumped out of the bed and located where the noise was coming from: Harry's room. Sirius pushed Remus back on the bed, and rushed out of the room, leaving Remus in their bedroom. He got up, and with Sirius's wand in hand, (The idiot had forgotten it) and was halfway to his cub's room, when the noise stopped. As he pushed open the door, he lowered the wand. Sirius was hugging a clearly distraught boy. Placing the wand in his robes, he joined the hug, while lifting the two onto the bed, and hearing a 'werewolf strength,' promptly dropped Sirius, getting a giggle from Harry. "What happened?" he asked softly, while stroking Harry's hair. "Nightmares" Harry offered. "I didn't get them in Azkaban, but now that we're out, they're coming back. Padfoot has been calming me down when I get them, in the last three months before Hogwarts." "Would you like to tell me what they're about, Harry?" The boy nodded and snuggled against Remus, and that was when Sirius decided to pick himself up off the floor, and cuddle Harry on the side opposite to Remus. "Um" Harry started, suddenly becoming nervous. "They're always about the Dursleys."
"Is it that bad?" Remus asked, a growl bubbling up from his throat, despite his effort to stop it. "Yes," Harry admitted, then suddenly gave an enormous yawn, his head dropping on Remus's shoulder.
A/N: This is very short- I know, but I haven't had motivation to finish this, and I have also been putting it off. This isn't very exciting, I know, but the next chapter should be better and longer than this.
