The talk of two worlds

"You know I have to apologize about the miscommunications between us and the Spartans."

The camera is on and it shows the observation deck of the First Light like the one on the Spirit of Fire. But it's more spacious with a metal table and swivel chairs bolted into the floor. Sitting on the chairs is Captain Jackson Heart saying his apology to the Wild Wild Pussycats.

"I mean most people shouldn't pick a fight with a spartan." Jackson said looking at a hologram of the fight. It shows Noble Six punching Tiger in the chest causing the male hero to spit a bit of saliva and blood. The next one shows A-188 did a sweeping kick on Ragdoll who fell face first into the ground. The third shows B-157 and Pixie Bob having a little boxing match with 157 performing a roundhouse kick to the face. And 156 have Mandalay in head lock.

Looking forward to the Pussycats who were in bandages but only minor injuries. The major injuries were healed with 26th century medical technology. Moving forward, on the table was a data pad in front of the captain. He then slid the data pad towards Mandalay.

"Read it." He gestured towards the pad.

Mandalay looked at the pad warily, then she grabbed the data pad and skimmed through the data. While some of them like Pixie Bob to glance at the pad as well. Minutes go by and Mandalay reads through with widened eyes and for a few moments after reading it…

She burst into tears…

The data that the Captain gave to her was declassified history of the UEG, UNSC, and events of the Human-Covenant war up to the fall of Reach. As the others read through it Mandalay looked at Jackson for a moment and responded.

"How… why?"

He took a breath and spoked "For the first part… we were being pushed back world by world… but we kept fighting, fighting for the right to existence. I also want to apologize for the Spartans and myself for putting you and your team in a situation with the UNSC." He paused, then continued "Also I want to make a proposal to you and your team."

"Which is…"

"Well…"
