Chapter 7!
Well what do you guys think of our adventure so far? We have had swords crossed, battles, and a growing mystery surrounding sora. What shall happen to our semi heroic adventurers. I do not own gacha world. Let's continue!
There was only darkness and pain, my head hurt so much. Slowly objects started to grow from the darkness, 8 pedestals towered above me. Slowly it felt like I was being lowered until my feet touched wet felt like wet ground. The 8 pedestals lowered until I could see their contents. I moved to the closest one to look at the object hovering just above it. A single glowing orb, it looked like molten fire as it spun ever so slowly. My legs seemed to move on their own as I found myself going to the next pedestal. This one held a ball of ice, the next a crackling ball of lightning, a crystal, an orb of darkness with an aura of purple, a golden globe, a rainbow swirling ball. The final pedestal held nothing, but I could feel the presence of its power, it had to be the power over nothing.
There was a sudden clack of chains and I tilted my head just enough to see that each of the orbs was connected to a chain at the center of the room.a sudden gust of wind caused my hair to blow into my face, I quickly brushed it aside and let out a tiny gasp. In the center of the pedestal formation there was… me? Except my hair was white and my eyes silver. The copy of my only stared blankly ahead as the chains slowly wrapped around her and held her in place.
Slowly it seemed like my copy was dragged to the ground until she lay on her back. A sudden loud crack of thunder filled my ears. I looked for the source only to find that a single sword had fallen out of the void above and speared my copy through the chest. I let out a small gasp and put my hand over my mouth to stop myself from making any loud noises.
"Sora….." a small voice echoed in the darkness. "Sora…" the voice turned into that of thousands, they chanted my name over and over. Finally light hit my eyes and lurched upward on a bed. Gasping I used both of my hands and ran my fingers through my hair as I tried to calm my thundering heart. What had my dream meant?
"SORA!" I suddenly felt my face getting attacked by small fists, "you idiot" Ellie sobbed as she finally stopped hitting my cheek.
"Ellie whats wrong?" I was genuinely worried now as I sat the little fairy in my cupped hands.
"You're what's wrong Sora! You've been unconscious for 2 weeks!" Ellie cried, she then buried her face into my hand, her little body shaking.
"2 weeks?" I couldn't believe it, I wasn't hurt that bad… was I? Ellie sniffled and then nodded.
"The captain you defeated and uncorrupted was kind enough to sail us to the gacha kingdom, we've been in port for 4 days waiting for you to wake up" the fairy sat up in my hands and wiped her nose. Now that she mentioned it, this did look like a ship's cabin, I don't know why I didn't notice it immediately.
"Well you don't need to worry anymore Ellie, I'm up now and that's all that matters" the fairy seemed to calm down a bit more, she then flew out of my hand and towards the door.
"Get dressed, I'll go tell the captain you're awake" and with that Ellie left the cabin, closing the door behind her. My muscles groaned as I stood up and looked around the room. My clothes were draped over a chair off to my left and to the right there was thankfully a mirror.
After getting dressed I found my sword over by the sword and sheathed it across my back and looked myself up and down in the mirror. My hair had grown longer and was now at shoulder length, and the roots were now a blood red. But thankfully the ends were still the light reddish pink they were originally when I entered this world. Carefully rubbing my cat ears so that they were not stiff anymore I nodded to myself in the mirror and walked out of the cabin.
"Ahoy there!" a familiar yellow haired girl landed right in front of me, the cracks in her skin were gone and her eyes were a soft golden now. "Thank goodness you awoke, me and meh crew were going to cast off soon"
"Thank you for caring for me as I healed from our battle" I bowed to the captain who just laughed and clapped her hand down on my shoulder.
"Eh don't worry about it, if you're ever in a pickle just call me, got it?" I nodded and saw Ellie hovering over by the gang plank.
"Come on sora we don't want to trouble them anymore" Ellie laughed, I cracked a small smile and jogged over to her, after that we ended up waving goodbye to the captain and her crew as they sailed away on the clear blue sea. The dream still haunted my thoughts, the chains, the orbs, and the strange sword that had stabbed my silver copy. But I could think about that later, now we were in the gacha kingdom capital and we could finally get supplies and eat a hot dinner.
"Oh sora, I forgot to tell you something" I looked over at Ellie, she seemed to be embarrassed about something.
"Huh what is it?" I asked.
"All our money fell into the ocean"
