Everyone got into their swim suits, including me. I wore a yellow bikini, white shorts, a green sarong, white platform sandals, a bunny ear scrunchy, and two green bracelets. I had my long hair put up in a pony tail. I am kind of tomboyish, but stylish. My mom and my brother came to the pool party, too. We also saw Lisa, Jeffery, and Bruce. Bruce was cooking at the grill. Natalia, Colette, and Marta were teaching Mieu how to swim. That was cute. Raine looked really uncomfortable. I went to comfort her. "Don't worry. Enjoy the pool party. There's no ectoplasm in the pool," I said to her. "It's not that I'm afraid of ectoplasm. It's that I have a fear of drowning," she said. Then Sheena and Ryo came to comfort Raine. Luke, Lloyd, and Emil were talking. Regal told me to he wanted to talk to me. I came up to him. I saw him laid back on a pool chair. Before one of us could say a word, Zelos accidentally knocked me down and I landed on Regal and Regal and I went lip-to-lip! In fact, we wound up kissing! I got relaxed when Regal kissed me. Zelos was surprised. "Kaede, are you-" Zelos cried then saw me and Regal kissing. "WHAT?!" Zelos shouted with surprise. Then he grabbed me by the back of my top and separated me and Regal. "Regal, what the hell are you doing to that chick?!" Zelos cried. "Actually, you pushed me onto Regal and we wound up kissing," I said to Zelos, pointing my fingers together. Suddenly, we heard evil, hysterical, laughter. It was Dist. "Well, look what we have here. The pathetic earth girl must have a boyfriend," Dist said. "Hey, no party poopers allowed," Marta cried. "Yeah! No cripples either," Genis cried with agreement. Then Anise came up to me. "Dist is like a roach," she said. "I bet he's more like a mosquito," I said since this my second time meeting him. He got angry and came to me. He put his hands on my ribs. I freaked out. "You'd make a perfect lab rat for me," he said to me. Then my brother came. "Hey. Get off of my sister," he yelled to Dist. "But YOUR sister is MY lab rat," Dist cried, putting his hands on my stomach. "Get your stinking paws off of me, you damn dirty ape," I cried as I punched Dist in the face. He let go of me as I punched him. Jade came and flipped Dist off of his chair, into the water. Dist climbed out of the pool and back in his chair, soaked and angry. "I'll get that stupid earth girl once in for all," he shouted. Then Regal came up to him. "Not today," Regal said. Dist got scared away by Regal. "And don't come back," I yelled to Dist. When we were eating hot dogs, Tenebrae asked me for some of my hot dog sausage and I gave him half of my hot dog sausage. Mieu was eating lettuce. We continued the pool party until it was over. On our way to my apartment, I was still disgusted how Dist called me "earth girl" and how he was feeling on me. Luke and Jade could tell how uncomfortable I was. Luke told me that he's been in one of Dist's machines. Jade told me that Dist's experiments disturb him. When it was bedtime, I invited my entire party, Noelle, Ion, Mieu, and Tenebrae to my apartment to spend the night. "Kaede, when you get up, please retrieve my golden scorpion with emerald eyes from the Pine Barrens of New Jersey. The Jersey Devil has my scorpion. Good luck and good night to you and everyone else with you on your journeys," King Tutankhamen's voice said. "Good night, your majesty," I said. Soon I rested my head on Regal's stomach and went to sleep. I had a strange dream where I was at my apartment. I was going to take a shower. I opened the curtain and saw Zelos and Guy kissing each other like they were actually gay in the shower! I freaked out at that sight. Guy also freaked out and Zelos closed the curtain. In the morning, I woke up with surprise. I sat up and accidentally waking Regal up. "Kaede, what happened?"Regal asked me, waking up. Everyone in my party was looking at me. "Did you just have a nightmare?" Sheena asked me. I shook my head 'no'. I looked at Guy and Zelos, which were standing next to each other. "I dreamed that you guys were kissing like homosexuals," I cried to them. They looked at each other like they were crazy and looked at me like I was crazy. Regal fixed us breakfast and we boarded the Albiore II. I had to make sure Mieu was confident enough to help me tame the Jersey Devil. I actually had to describe what it looked like. It has the wings of a bat, the body of a kangaroo, head of a dog, wings of a bat, hooves and face of a horse, forked tail, and large fangs. Mieu got a bit scared when he heard me say the monster's description. The beast also has red eyes that can temporarily paralyze its victim. "Kaede, are you trying to scare Mieu?" Natalia asked. "No, I'm just trying to get him confident enough about the Jersey Devil," I said.
