{As Lincoln and Professor Magnolia we're making their way to Galar}

[Loud Residence: living room]

As they were waiting for their parents to return from the Great Lake City airport, the Loud sisters decided to pass the time by watching the latest episode of the Dream Boat.

The only ones who did not show any interest in watching the show were Lisa, who was in her room anxiously waiting for Professor Magnolia to call her. The other was Lucy, who was currently in her special dark place aka the chimney where she went to when she wanted to be alone and or to think.

"Lucy are you sure you don't want to watch the latest episode of the dream boat with us?"Asked Leni, as she knew this was one of the few group activities Lucy enjoyed doing so she did not want her to miss it.

"Sorry Leni but I'm not really in the mood right now. So just go back to the couch and enjoy the show."replied Lucy as she honestly wanted to be alone in her special dark place for a while.

"Come on Leni there is no way Lucy is coming out of there for a while so don't bother. Besides that just means more room and popcorn for us."said Lynn and she took a bite of the snack in question.

"Yeah come on Leni you don't want to miss the season premiere after all don't you want to find out if Brock and Lizzy stay together?"added Lola as she wanted no distractions.

"Okay...like I guess."said Leni as she then walked back to the couch and sat down Leni to Luna in her usual spot, although he made sure to be able to scooch over just in case Lucy changed her mind.

Just a few minutes before the show was about to start the sound of an Vanzilla driving up into the driveway could be heard. Soon Lynn Sr and Rita walked through the front door a minute or two later. Before anyone could say anything Rita immediately ran towards the bedroom she shared with her husband and slammed the door shut.

"What's wrong with mommy daddy?"asked Lola as she wondered why her mother was so upset.

"...Your mother and I didn't have a less than favorable goodbye with Lincoln and it was a very awkward ride back home sweetie so please understand that she is a little upsetting and will be a while for her to come down."replied Lynn Sr as he ran towards the room and made his way inside as he wanted to see if his wife was all right even though he knew that wasn't the case.

"So that jerk made mom cry. I swear Lincoln has been getting out of control lately I mean first he writes that mean journal about us and now he does this. I seriously want to know what's his problem."grumbled Lynn as she took another bite of popcorn.

"I don't know dude's maybe we shouldn't have read that journal in the first place I mean yeah he wrote means stuff about us but it was his private property."said Luna who was starting to feel a little guilty about the whole situation as they basically banished their brother from the Loud house.

"Yeah but he did write those mean stuff about us. I mean for him to call me a spoiled brat is one thing but to say it to my face he has a lot of nerve! I mean if Lori was here oh ho ho if Lori was here she would have already turned them into a human pretzel like she promised she do the next time she saw him after Leni called her to showed her the entry about her through video chat."said Luan who was still mad about the mean stuff he said about her in his journal.

"Yeah like I've never seen her so angry before."said Leni as she would call that particular conversation with her big sister.

"Everyone shush! They Dream Boat is about to start!"voiced Lana getting everyone's attention as they stop talking and focused on the show that was about to start.

It was in that moment that Lucy came out of the chimney. Leni was ready to scooch over as she thought Lucy was going to sit down but instead Lucy made her way up the stairs.

"I wonder where she is going?"

"Who cares, let's just see if Brock and Lizzy stayed together."said Lana as she added worms to her part of popcorn grossing everyone out.

[Loud Residence: Lisa and Lily's bedroom]

Meanwhile upstairs in her bedroom Lisa was currently waiting next to the VideoPhone for Professor Magnolia to call her. Lisa knew all too well that it would take time as getting to Galar would take hours but Lisa was only human after all-so patience wasn't one of her strong suits.

"Come on they should be nearing the region by now. Just an hour more and I should get a status report from the professor."said Lisa has she heard a knock at the door.

"Come in?"she questioned that she didn't expect any company at that moment as Lucy entered the bedroom.

"What do you want Lucy?"asked Lisa who honestly didn't want any company right now as Professor Magnolia could call at any time.

"I want to know why exactly you suggested we send her brother to that island where your friend lives and don't give me that hole "to help her with her research" excuse."answered Lucy as she waited for an answer from her genius little sister.

"Is it really so much of an excuse when it's the complete truth."said Lisa only to notice by the expression on her sister's face that she wasn't buying it

"Not buying it?"

"Nope."answered Lucy as dryly as possible.

"Eh can't blame a genius for trying."said Lisa as she adjusted her glasses before continuing."You have surprised me well older sisters since you are a lot sharper than our other siblings but I cannot reveal anything yet since I myself am waiting for some information but don't worry you will know everything you will need to know in due time. I mean you probably know more than our siblings since you were snooping last night.

Lisa then made a cocky smile as she noticed Lucy changed her expression to one of surprise as she knew Lucy was probably asking herself how did Lisa know.

"...How did...?"

"Oh Lucy you should know by now it's not a good idea to underestimate someone especially me. Did you're not occur to you that I would have countermeasures in my room to prevent my research from being stolen like sensors and events to tell me if someone was inside. I must say that I'm a little offended that I am so underestimated."rambled Lisa as she felt like she had just declared checkmate in chess.

"Touche Lisa I should have known better."

"Yes you should but I can assure you this Lucy out of all of us Lincoln is going to be the one who benefits the most from our little arrangement."said Lisa as she pulled out a remote and pressed the red button that was in the center of it.

"Now I would like to continue our interesting conversation I really would but I'm waiting for a very important phone call so I must ask you kindly to leave."said Lisa is one of her robots activated and began escorting Lucy out of the room.

Lucy just protested and wanted to know more as she was moved out of the room and had the door slammed in her face. A second later the sound of many locks locking could be heard from the other side of the room and Lucy knew that there was no way she would get back inside even if she used the vents.

"What are you up to Lisa? Whatever it is I'm going to get to the bottom of it!"said Lucy as she was determined to find out what Lisa was up to.

[Loud Residence: Rita and Lynn Sr's bedroom]

While Lucy was formulating a plan to find out what exactly was going on the Loud parents on the other hand had another issue entirely.

Rita was currently looking out of the window of her bedroom with her makeup ruin as tears were falling down her face. Rita was starting to question everything and wondered if she could have done more in this situation.

Sure her children needed space from one another especially after what happened yesterday but still was this the best choice she wondered? Was sending her baby boy away to a land she had not heard of until yesterday the best idea? These were just one of the many questions she asked herself as she looked out the window.

Lynn Sr meanwhile on the other side of the room was looking at his wife with worry as he wanted to say something but he didn't know exactly what to say as he was worried whatever he did say what upset his wife.

While Lynn Sr agreed that space was needed he as well wondered if they made the right choice. But this situation was already tense as the ride back to the airport was completely silent as neither talked to one another the whole ride back and now this?

'Then again anywhere is better than going with Aunt Ruth. I mean for crying out loud I wouldn't send my worst enemy with her! Lincoln would agree with me there as he would rather go anywhere then go Aunt Ruth's.' thought Lynn Sr as he waited for the right moment to try to console his wife.

'What was I thinking sending my baby boy away! I know that time away from each other was what was necessary but was this really the best choice? Now he's in another land completely by himself... I just hope wherever he is he is okay.' thought Rita.

{The next day in the Galar region}

Lincoln was in the living room of Mrs Williams's house looking up videos on Pokemon battles.

Lincoln wanted to know everything he could so he stayed up late last night researching everything he could on Pokemon including the many different types of Pokemon there were, the species of Pokemon that lived in Galar, and the type advantages and disadvantages each Pokemon had, except for a select few.

But right now he was currently watching an exhibition match between the champion and the top gym leader. Lincoln was absolutely amazed as Leon and his Charizard were extremely tough as they were so in sync with one another that Charizard look like it was dominating the battlefield under Leon's command.

As Lincoln was watching the video the sound of the door chime ringing could be heard. A few seconds later a familiar voice could be heard from the other side of the door.

"Hello hello is anyone there?"Asked Hop.

"Hop I'm in the living room come on in."said Lincoln as the boy in question let himself in and made his way to the living room with his Wooloo.

"Hey Lincoln I see your checking out your Rotom phone and I see you're watching Lee's exhibition match with Raihan. But with you having your hand full you can't properly cheer on Lee as everyone knows the only way to properly cheer on my brother is by doing his signature Charizard pose."said Hop as Mrs Williams walked into the room.

"Hop I didn't expect to see you here isn't today the big day?"she asked.

"Yeah it is that is exactly why I came over to get Lincoln. Never mind watching the exhibition match right now as I have a recording at home anyway-I record all of my brothers matches."answered Hop as he turned his attention to Lincoln.

"Come on Lincoln get your stuff ready and let's go I'll be waiting for you outside."Hop said as he and Wooloo exited the home.

"Lincoln please get your backpack from the guest bedroom oh and Professor Magnolia sent you a little surprise. I do so hope you like it."said Mrs Williams with got Lincoln's attention as he immediately made his way to the bedroom he used last night.

There laying on the bed was a new outfit that look like it fit Lincoln's taste. Lincoln just smiled as he went over and immediately started putting it on. After he was done he went over to the mirror to check himself out.

Lincoln was now wearing a orange mid sleeve zip up jacket with white lining on the cuffs and zipper area. Underneath the jacket was a white T-shirt wade out of Wooloo wool. For pants Lincoln was now wearing black skinny trousers with orange lining on each side and for shoes he was not wearing white and orange running shoes instead of his usual sneakers. Finally completing the look was an orange and white baseball cap with the letters LL printed on the front.

"Man I have got to thank Professor Magnolia when I see her again because I honestly look really good."said Lincoln as he slung the backpack over his shoulders and started to make his way outside.

"I knew that new outfit would look good on you now remember to be careful and whatever you do do not go into the Slumbering Weald."said Mrs Williams as Lincoln exited the front door.

Just outside of Mrs Williams front yard was Hop and his Wooloo patiently waiting for Lincoln just down the mini set of stairs.

"Looking good Lincoln but that bag of yours is really big. Well at least we know that you will be able to carry anything Lee brings us even if it's as big as a Snorlax."said Hop leaving Lincoln confused as he had no idea what a Snorlax even was.

Lincoln just brushed it off as he assumes Snorlax was just one of the many Pokemon that called this region their home.

Suddenly the calm air off Postwick was broken by the sound of someone or something tackling a fence or something.

Turning to the origin of the sound they saw another Wooloo using tackle on a fence that led to the Slumbering Weald.

"Hey you silly Wooloo I see what you're doing! Now you listen and listen good-stop using tackle on that fence right this instant as everyone knows there is scary Pokemon living in the Slumbering Weald!"scolded Hop causing the sheep Pokemon to stop in its tracks.

"Meeeehhhhh!"explain the cheap Pokemon as it reluctantly walked away.

"Now that that has been taken care of I'll race you to my house Lincoln and I'll bet I'll win what with you lagging around that huge bag and everything."said Hop as he and his Wooloo began running.

"Hop wait up!"Yelled Lincoln as he began running as well to try to keep up.

A few minutes later the two arrived at Hop's house and without wasting a moment they made their way inside and went to the kitchen area to see if Leon was there.

"Mum is he here yet?"Asked Hop as Lincoln and him walked into the kitchen.

"There you are Hop-oh! I see you brought someone with you. You must be Lincoln I have heard a lot about you from my son. I hope you guys can be the best of friends since I've never seen my son so excited about meeting a new person."said Hop's Mum with a warm smile on her face.

"It's a pleasure to meet you ma'am and I got to say it was nice meeting your son since it's not everyday that someone does such a solid for you out of the kindness out of their heart. I hope me and him can become the best of friends."replied Lincoln.

"Yeah yeah but is Lee here? Do you have him stashed in a cupboard or something?"Asked Hop as he began looking around the room.

"No-for the hundreth time Hop your brother is not here yet honestly you must learn to have a little patience."said Hop's Mum as her son was notorious for having little to no patience.

"Hmm... then that means he should just barely be arriving at the train station in Wedgehurst. I better go get him since we all know that Lee is terrible with directions."said Hop.

"Would you?...Yes that is probably for the best."said Hop's Mum and she knew from personal experience that her oldest son would get lost easily even with simple directions to follow.

'Is he really that bad with directions?' wondered Lincoln as he and Hop began to walk out of the house.

"Please go with Hop Lincoln-I no we just met and everything but I have a feeling that you are the reliable kind of child."

"Don't worry ma'am I was planning on going in the first place since I don't want to miss a chance to meet the unbeatable champion."said Lincoln as he and Hop exited the house.

The two then began jogging towards Wedgehurst through route one.

"Now Lincoln while we're on route 1 try your best to avoid the tall grass as wild pokémon inhabited it. I have my Wooloo so I will be fine but you don't have any Pokemon so that is a completely different story."advised Hop as they continue to make their way to the train station.

"About twenty minutes to twenty two later the pair of aspiring trainers finally arrived in Wedgehurst and they quickly made their way to the train station.

At the train station a large crowd had gathered and soon they started cheering as Lincoln noticed a certain someone leave the train station.

The person in question look like an older version of Hop as he had similar eyes and hair that was covered by a stylish black baseball cap. For clothing the man wore a black T-shirt with white stripes and the printing of a blue sword in front of a red shield in front. For pants he wore athletic white shorts with similar leggings and shoes as they had a matching black and yellow pattern on each side. The most distinguishable part of his clothing however would have to be the red cape covered by many logos draped over his shoulders.

Next to the man was an orange Dragon looking Pokemon that look like it was incredibly strong.

It didn't take a moment for Lincoln to recognize the man as the champion of the Galar region and Hop's older brother Leon. And as for the Pokemon it was clearly his partner Pokemon as well as his strongest Charizard.

As soon as Leon noticed the crowd he immediately struck his signature Charizard pose causing the crowd to begin cheering.

"Hello hello Wedgehurst your champion Leon is back."said Leon as he greeted the crowd.

"Leon you and Charizard are the greatest!"

"Well thank you for that. I hope all of you have been keeping up with your Pokemon training that way one day you can challenge me for the champion title?"

"We have Leon exactly how you showed us!"exclaim a woman from the crowd.

"But that Charizard of yours is too strong for the likes of us to take on!"expressed another woman from the crowd.

Leon merely smiled at this before responding."While it is true that Charizard is blazingly strong other Pokemon can be blazingly strong as well. My dream is for all the trainer's of Galar to work hard and challenge me for the championship title that way we can be known as the strongest Pokemon trainers in the whole world! exclaim Leon with much passion and charisma.

"Lee!"Yelled Hop as he began waving his hands around to try to get his brother's attention.

"Hop!"exclaimed Leon as he immediately spotted his brother and began to make his way through the crowd and the crowd was polite enough to get out of his way as he did so.

"So I see you that my number one fan and all the world has come to personally pick me up. Look at you hop why I reckon you've grown an inch..and a quarters since the last time I saw you."

"Bingo! Your exactly right Lee and I shouldn't be surprised after all those sharp eyes are yours are the reason you have been undefeated this long!"exclaimed Hop as Leon turned his attention to Lincoln.

"And you must be the aspiring trainer from the states that my brother told me about yesterday. It's nice to meet you I am the champion of the Galar region as well as a massive Charizard fat as well. People like to refer to me as the unbeatable Leon."said Leon as he extended his hand and friendship which Lincoln returned by shaking it.

"It's nice to meet you Leon and I just like to thank you for the huge favor you're giving me."

"It's no problem Lincoln after all as this is where you begin your journey as far as I'm concerned you are a trainer of Galar and with you I have a feeling my dream will take a step further."said Leon with no deception in his eyes.

"Come on Lee and you too Lincoln, I'll race you to home and I bet I'll win!"expressed Hop as he immediately began running back towards Postwick.

"That Hop always wanting to be the best. With a proper arrival I bet he'll push himself to new heights."said Hop as he turned his attention towards the crowd.

"Well this is where I must leave but don't worry I will always do my best to make amazing Pokemon battles for you to watch and remember no matter where I am I will always make sure that everyone in Galar will have a champion time!"Exclaimed Leon with much passion and charisma causing the crowd to cheer for him once more as he, Lincoln, and Charizard began to chase after Hop.

All the while Lincoln and Charizard made sure that Leon did not get lost as he truly had no sense of direction.

A short while later the three where in the front yard of Leon and Hop's house after making it back and catching their breaths.

"Come on Lee I know you brought me and Lincoln Pokemon so let's see them already!"exclaimed Hop as he was starting to get impatient.

"Right then the greatest gift from the greatest champion, watch closely you two."exclaimed Leon as he pulled out three pokeballs and tossed them towards the nearby mini battlefield.

A second later the pokeballs opened up and let the Pokemon that were inside out. To Lincoln the Pokemon look like a green monkey, a white rabbit, and a blue chameleon.

"The Grass type Grookey."

"The Fire type Scorbunny."

"And the Water type Sobble."

Soon the three Pokemon went their separate ways to different parts of the yard.

Grookey went over to the tree and began to climb it as Sobble dove into the nearby pond. As for Scorbunny it stayed on the battlefield and began running around in circles.

Grookey meanwhile found a berry and began to play with it with the stick that was in its hair. Sobble meanwhile was enjoying a nice swim I. the pond and release a bit of water just for fun.

The glob of water however hit Scorbunny, causing the rabbit Pokemon to start jumping around erratically. Soon one such jump caused Scorbunny to hit its head on the branch Grookey was on, causing the chimp Pokemon to drop the berry it was playing with.

The berry landed in the pond scaring Sobble, causing the water lizard Pokemon to immediately jump out and begin crying. Grookey and Scorbunny immediately went over and began to comfort Sobble, making the water lizard Pokemon feel much better.

"All right line up everyone "ordered Leon and each Pokemon complied with the command and went over to the battlefield.

Taking the center each Pokemon took the respective positions on the battlefield. Grookey time the right as Scorbunny took the center as Sobble as it took the left.

"Which will you chose?"asked Leon as Hop and Lincoln looked at each respective Pokemon with interest.

"You go first Lincoln since I have my Wooloo after all it's only fair that you go first."said Hop in a surprisingly mature manner.

"Gee thanks Hop."said Lincoln as he walked over to the mini battlefield to look at the Pokemon with a better perspective.

Lincoln looked at each Pokemon and started analyzing them carefully as he wanted to make sure he picked right as one of them was meant to be his partner Pokemon. Lincoln then began to mentally question himself which Pokemon he should choose as each of them look good and he honestly liked all three of them but he knew he can only take one. After much mental debate Lincoln made his choice and walked over to the Pokemon he would pick.

"I choose you... Sobble "said Lincoln causing the water lizard Pokemon to jump in the air and high five Lincoln as it was excited that Lincoln chose him.

"So you chose Sobble, nice one Lincoln in that case I'll go with... Scorbunny, you're mine! I plan to be the future champion so get ready for some intense training "said Hop as Scorbunny and Wooloo introduce themselves to one another.

"Now that is the kind of spirit I like to see in aspiring trainers and that is exactly why I brought you and Lincoln Pokemon."said Leon with a huge grin on his face.

As for Grookey the chimp Pokemon began looking around wondering who would take him when Leon and Charizard approached him.

"And you will come with me. Charizard is real strict but he is also extremely kind as he will show you the ropes."said Leon causing Grookey to jump in the air with joy.

"All right that is enough trainer nonsense for one day. Come on you three everything is ready for the barbecue so bring along your Pokemon and let's all eat."said Leon and Hop's Mum as she walked into the front yard with Mrs Williams close behind.

Soon everyone was enjoying the barbecue as Hop was eating two kabobs at once as his Pokemon were chasing one another in the front yard.

Leon and Charizard were showing Grookey a few tricks and as for Lincoln and Sobble, they were currently getting really acquainted with one another as Lincoln smiled at the water lizard Pokemon.

"You may be weak but so am I and together we're going to work hard with one another to become strong enough to take him on one day."said Lincoln as he pointed towards Leon.

"Sobble sob."said the water lizard Pokemon with a smile on his face.

"I'll take that as a yes get ready partner because one day we're going to be the best that there ever was "said Lincoln as he and Sobble high fives once more.

Phew finally managed to fix up my blender. Anyway I hope you like the chapter guys as I chose Sobble as Lincoln's started for a very special reason.

Sobble in my opinion is a very cute Pokemon that fits Lincoln well as it starts out as weak but then gets stronger with each evolution. Also since Lincoln is into secret agents and all of that I figured he should have the secret agent Pokemon.

And I guess I'm still upset that Ash didn't get Sobble like he was supposed to!
