INT. Reid and Rossi at the Medical Examiners'- DAY (Scene 2.8)

Reid and Rossi enter the ME's exam room. Rossi scrunches his nose at the smell, a mixture between formaldehyde and decaying flesh. Reid is unbothered.

The ME peels back the sheet to reveal the latest victim, 27 year old Claudia Campbell. The site is gruesome. Reid flinches at the thought of the pain she'd been in as she died.

Rossi: So there were no ligature marks or drugs in any of the victim's system?

ME: nope. There was blunt force trauma to the back of their heads

Reid, nodding: blitz attacks.

Rossi indicates he agrees and walks behind Reid to stand on the right of him and takes a step closer to the ME

Rossi: was there any way for you to tell how long they'd been kept for before the bodies were dumped?

The ME shakes his head

M.E.: Not really. I don't think they were held for long at all. They died just an hour or so before the bodies were found. However, there's at least three weeks between each victim

Rossi: so he's got a cooling off period.

Reid's mouth twitches and he looks the ME in the eye

Reid: What can you tell us about the beatings they took?

ME: Rough. They were all beaten nearly to death, but the last two had several stab wounds

Rossi: From a knife or-

ME, interrupts Rossi: Weapons of opportunities. Last one looks like some sort of glass shard, maybe from a broken window

Rossi: So he's disorganized- didn't bring a weapon.

Reid interrupts Rossi

Reid: But organized enough to not leave any prints or dna. His prints are probably in the system. Plus, theres the whole post mortem rape issue.

Rossi: He's a disturbed fella that's for sure.

Reid nods in agreement and the scene ends zooming in on the beaten, dead body on the table, her eyes seem broken but to the audience it feels like they are looking right at them. It's creepy.
