Chapter 7
The Entrance Exams Final: The Real Test
Reiza was in the middle of taking down a 2 and 1 pointer as it brought her total up to 25 points before a massive surge went through the ground below her feet. She paused just as everyone else did around her before sensing a massive amount of concentrated metal gradually rolling towards them.
What the hell…i-is that? She thought to herself, not knowing if she was currently shaking out of anticipation or fear of whatever was making its way towards her and the other participants.
She didn't have to wait too long for her answer as she heard glass crash off to the side before a large shadow fell over her immediate surroundings, looking up as her eyes widened in disbelief with her breathing practically stopping from seeing such a sight so close to her.
She was thrown into a flashback from witnessing the massive size of the faux villain above them, remembering the words that Present Mic had foretold relating to what point amount she perceived it had.
["The fourth villain type is a Zero Pointer as that guy's just an obstacle we'll be using to throw in your way. There will be one within every battle center, but still think of it as something that you should try and avoid as there's no point in trying to defeat it."]
I think I understand the sentiment of warning us, but it's kind of hard to avoid something that's smack dab right in front of you…
She stiffened when she saw the massive robot bring out its fist to hit whatever was below it, instinctively trying to reverse its polarity to prevent it from leading to someone getting hurt. She realized too late how reckless that was for her to even do as she was too stunned to account for the weight this thing had backing it in comparison to her.
She winced, harshly, when it felt like her muscles were screaming at her from doing it even for the few short seconds that she did, unable to hold back the robot arm from the jarring nature of feeling such pain as she kneeled to the ground and heard another ginormous crash right in front of her.
Damn i-it….I think I may have been a little overzealous there, she thought to herself, watching on as her vision was clouded in a field of dust. Her hands were shaking as she felt a familiar chill rise from her body and a headache began to come full force incessantly somewhere behind her eyes.
Normally, it would take her longer to reach her limit than this mock battle that almost seemed far from ending. But due to her overexerting her quirk for this entire month in which led her to being bedridden this entire week, she was not anywhere close to prime form right now, almost running on steam to keep herself focused on destroying as many enemies as she could even at the beginning.
For her to be feeling this so suddenly, must have meant that her iron was already running low, putting her back at risk of hospitalizing herself if she wasn't careful as she didn't have any iron tablets on her to take at this moment.
I should probably make sure that no one was injured from that attack, she thought as she shakily rose up to her feet, ignoring the countless amount of people running away from the one thing they were told to avoid.
She knew that time was running out for her to get more points to better her chances within this exam, but she couldn't bring herself to push that aside when there was a chance that someone needed help. She didn't want to be littered with any regrets of not doing this, not really caring how low her total was in comparison to the rest as she could just make it up during the written part of the exam
Her vision was tunneling enough that she didn't notice that she passed Midoriya who was sitting on the ground riddled with both fear and worry as the 0-point robot was making its approach about as fast as the end of the test was.
He too didn't acknowledge that Reiza was there as he crawled the opposite direction that she was going in, graciously hoping that he had more time to get a point within this exam for the sake of All Might and his dream to get into UA in order to become a hero.
His hopes and chances were starting to slim, however, hearing Present Mic's voice ring out in the area at the worst possible time.
"TWO MINUTES REMAINING!"
Two minutes!? Nonononono! I'm running out of time! he thought as tears prickled the corner of his eyes.
I can't fail this! If I do, all my training with All Might will have been wasted for nothing!
He was about to try to rise to his feet as he reached out towards the pavement, before he stiffened when he heard a pain-filled scream pierce the air who he immediately recognized as Reiza's as someone tried to get her to stop what she was trying to do.
When he shakily turned around, he was taken aback as he saw the teen trying her best to push back the robot from getting any closer, looking over and seeing the girl who had saved him before beg her not to as her foot was stuck under a piece of debris and was too close to the robot to move her out of the way in time.
"AAGH! D-Damn i-it! St-Stop…moving!" Reiza shouted.
"Hey don't push your quirk just for my sake! Just go and get out of here!" The girl pleaded repeatedly as Reiza let a couple chuckles slip from her breath.
"S-Sorry I can't do that. What kind o-of person would I be to leave wh-when you can't defend yourself?" Reiza asked as sweat was profusely rolling down her face.
The pain that she had experienced before didn't hold a candle to how she was feeling now, feeling like her entire body was at war with itself as it became harder and harder to breath and stay focused with the amount of darkness creeping in the edges of her vision.
I feel l-like…th-that I'm about to pass out. I don't know if that'll happen b-before or after my arms fall off, she thought as her pain gradually grew to be worse and worse from her muscles wearing further and further as they were being torn to shreds.
But even with that, the confidence still burned in her eyes as the smile remained on her face, planting herself in place by liquefying some of the metal from her balls to coat and harden the bottom of her shoes as she tried her best to survive the next minute or so to be able to keep this girl safe from any harm until the test was over.
It was at that moment that time seemed to stop for Midoriya, knowing that if didn't do anything, one or both of these girls were going to get seriously injured.
They both had left their mark on him in some way, flashing back to when the brunette kept him from falling on the ground and greeted him so kindly which paralleled with what Reiza had done for him as well as stood up for him even though they were practically strangers.
Some kind of spark lit his heart as his natural instincts to protect overtook him, dashing as fast as he could and felt massive amounts of power surge through his legs as he rose higher and higher in the air towards his target.
Reiza and the other girl had barely had time to see his green hair before he was gone in a flash, gaping at him just like the rest of the participants behind them as they could not ignore it for a time to continue on with getting more points for this exam.
Reiza smiled at the sight after a while when she released her hold over the metal of the robot's body, feeling herself beginning to fall over as Midoriya completely destroyed the robot's hand in an instant.
'Well lookey there. Finally decided to show off for the rest of u-us…." She said under her breath as the light faded from her eyes, unable to stop herself from falling over as the darkness within her vision nearly overtook her.
"I got you!" The girl from before stopped her from crashing to the ground from the use of her quirk after she quickly touched her chest, guiding her over to her before she stopped the use of her quirk. "Re-Release!"
Reiza settled down softly on top of a scrapped robot she was slumped over against, cracking open her eyes to see the panicked expression of the girl right next to her.
"Hey are you alright! Um-"
"Reiza Kyokusei…and I'm fine ju-just tired…." Reiza slurred out. "Who do I have the pleasure of speaking to right now…It's not every day to s-see a stranger so concerned for my safety t-to this extent…I'm fl…attered."
"It's Uraraka Ochaco and thank you for helping me!" Uraraka said passionately before a recognizable scream began to fill the area as Reiza chuckled under her breath.
"No pr-problem…Uraraka…." Reiza said as her vision began to waver and her eyes began to close. "Can you do me a fa-favor and help…Mi-Midoriya for me? I would do i-it myself, but I really feel like I'm about to….t-to…."
Uraraka heard her let out a soft moan as her head lolled over to the side, letting out a small gasp from seeing that she had actually passed out and started to pale even further than she already was.
She didn't take too long to remain in her shock though as some determination and desperation fell in her eyes as she quickly went to go over and do the last request provided to her as she jumped into action to stop the boy from falling to his death.
A little while later…
Recovery Girl let out a small sigh at the sight below her, looking at a boy who had practically broke himself and a girl she already knew was going to be as much trouble as her aunt and late father.
It's as if his body can't handle the power of his quirk for some reason or another, she thought as her face faded into concern before looking towards Reiza who seemed to be sleeping relatively peaceably, though wore a pained look on her face as her arms trembled at her sides.
And her injuries may not be as severe as his is, but she nearly looks like how she was the last day I aided her. She seems to be just as a reliant on her iron to function just as her mother is and it also seems she has torn her muscles about as fast as her father did any given time.
After a few moments, the corners of her lips condensed into a kiss, stretching towards both of the injured teens as the injuries they sustained began to heal at the cost of their stamina that was probably already low within their bodies.
Midoriya muttered out a "thank you" as Reiza's face seemed to relax ever so slightly and continued to sleep on.
Recovery Girl shook her head a little bit as she looked down at them, wearing an inkling of a smile on her face.
I can already tell that these two are going to be a handful in the future…
All Might was walking out of the faculty camera room with a look of admiration on his face, thinking back to the image in his head of his new successor proving himself among the masses of participants in front of the eyes of everyone, including himself.
I am so proud of you Young Midoriya., he thought to himself, passing by a woman that he hadn't noticed had been standing there until she made her presence known to him.
"Are you just going to ignore an old friend of yours like that, Toshi? I know it has been a while, but I don't think I've changed that much to receive such treatment." The woman stated, causing All Might to stop in his tracks as a look of surprise fell on his face from seeing Tekine smiling over at him.
"Oh, Kintec! I didn't mean to-"
"Kintec? Now I've been reduced to you saying my hero name?" Tekine remarked as she feigned a hurt voice. "This day just keeps getting sadder and sadder. To think even the No. 1 hero has no time for one within the Top 20 who he has known along with her brother for years now."
All Might sweatdropped at the sight as his face went pale, thinking he actually did something that made the woman next to him cry.
"Oh no! I'm sorry Tekine! I didn't mean to hurt your-"
"Ha. You really thought that was enough to get me going Toshinori? It seems you're still easy to fool." Tekine said with a massive smile her face, causing All Might to grumble internally from her antics.
Even in her older age, she still reminds me of her child and teenage years…
After Tekine was able to settle down in her laughter from seeing his reaction, her face grew to be a little bit more serious as she had a question to ask him.
"Now it's time to get to the matter at hand here. " She remarked as she crossed her arms and leaned on the wall behind her. "Is he yours?"
All Might's face faded into slight confusion. "What do you mean by that?"
"The boy with the messy green hair who destroyed that robot with just one attack…" Tekine explained. "Is he your protégé of some sort? Even if he didn't do much and that was the only feat during the entire test that I'm aware of, that one punch was still enough to ring alarm bells in my head relating to your quirk that I'm still trying to figure out."
All Might gulped at that as he tried to not indicate how tense it made him. There were only a few people who knew about the skinny form he was currently in, but even fewer who knew about the secrets relating to One for All. Kutoro, Tekine's brother, knew of the ins and outs of his quirk and always said that she would be able to hold his secret just as he could.
But due to the nature of his demise, he was afraid that the same fate could befall her and her niece, not wanting to lose someone else due to his main foe, All for One, because of the connection they have with him.
"No. He's just another participant of the exams like the rest." He said with a smile.
Silence feel between them as Tekine looked over at him skeptically before releasing a small sigh as she walked away from him.
"Alright, I guess I can take that explanation for now." She stated. She came to a stop after a while and looked over her shoulder at him. "Next time, though, it might not be as easy. So, I suggest you come up with something else until then."
When she walked out of view, All Might let out a sigh of relief as he put his weight on his legs and closed his eyes.
"Goodness, that woman is always so perceptive. I can barely ever get anything past her." He said under his breath before proceeding to go down the hallway to do what he had been going to do before Tekine had stopped him.
A couple hours later…
The sun was beginning to set on the day of the UA Entrance Exams as Yaoyorozu waited outside its gate patiently for her friends to arrive.
Even though she wasn't showing it all that much, she was beginning to get antsy as time persisted on, wondering and hoping they did well on both the practical and written parts of the test, so they could all attend UA together in April.
She didn't have to wait too much longer to see Reiza walking with her hands on the back of her head as Akari stood beside her with her hands in her pockets as they walked out its doors, both smiling over at her as she waved them to come over.
"Kusei! Akari! Over here!" Yaoyorozu shouted enthusiastically.
"Hi Momo! / Hey Yaoyorozu…" Reiza and Akari said respectively when they made their way over to her.
As they walked to their homes located over in the Aichi Perfecture, Reiza and Akari gave their versions and sides of how the exam went for them, with Yaoyorozu quietly taking in each of their responses as they took their time by avoiding to take the bus or train back.
They mostly lined up when it came to what had happened before the Entrance Exams and during the written exam, though spilt off by their own unique experiences when it came to the mock battles.
Both looked over at Reiza in slight annoyance as she looked over at them sheepishly for letting it slip that she had caused herself to pass out by pushing her quirk too much…again.
"Are you sure you're feeling alright Kusei?" Yaoyorozu asked in concern, seeing the girl wave in reassurance as she nodded her head.
"Yeah I'm fine, promise." Reiza giggled. "My iron still hadn't gotten to normal levels before taking the exam, so it was a lot easier for me to run out of steam after a while."
"Well it probably didn't help that you took on more than you know you should at a time." Akari sighed before releasing a yawn. "Even though metal is your specialty, it's not like you can control unlimited amounts of it."
"For the 100th time, I know I can't, Ichika. Jeez, can you just give me a break this one time?" Reiza groaned.
"Maybe when you stop having the probability of being a moron. Which sadly will probably never happen." Akari simply stated as Reiza deflated beside her, causing Yaoyorozu to laugh under her breath.
It had been a nice sight to see this relationship flourish as it has from Yaoyorozu's perspective, happy by the fact that the two childhood friends had reconnected with each other after all this time and that she had a new friend to call her own as well.
Even though Reiza had never admitted it to her, she knew that losing Akari, her mother due to her being imprisoned, and her late father in a short amount of time, was completely devastating for her that slowly molded her personality into something that completely contrasts to how she is today.
It came to the point that she was about to flunk out of school, something Yaoyorozu learned overtime when Tekine talked her and her parents into allowing her to tutor her that she was purposefully doing it without any care of what that could do to her future.
She honestly didn't need to have that background information at the time though as she could already tell that was the case just from their study sessions alone, always tricking Reiza to show more and more of her moderately above average intellect to the point she gave up on trying to hide it.
Things may have been tense at first since Tekine had forced her niece to attend as some semblance of a punishment. But she gradually warmed up to her overtime as the cold mask she kept to hide her true self began to melt slowly over time.
It went so far as to Reiza trying her best to reject her feelings one day, wanting to ignore them as she began to spiral down even further into a depression alone.
But Yaoyorozu refused to let that continue…
[Flashback]
Yaoyorozu had been sitting in the living room of Tekine's apartment waiting on Reiza to leave her room and come in here like she normally does. Even though she tried at times to make it seem like she didn't want to be there, she was gradually becoming more and more comfortable of having her around, getting a laugh out of her at times as well as joking enough to do the same for her.
Apparently, Tekine and Reiza had gotten into a huge argument before she had gotten there, prompting the woman to leave for her hero agency and left the young girl to just simmer in her room.
Tekine had told her that it was probably not the best idea for her to come today, but she just couldn't bring herself to leave, finding some sort of courage to force Reiza to confide in her as to why she acted like this when she knew another side of her that contrasted with this entirely.
After a while of waiting, she walked over to Reiza's bedroom door, lightly knocking on it and calling out for the silverette to come and open it for her, not receiving a single answer after multiple attempts at trying.
"Reiza?" She said again before shaking her head, looking down at the knob in determination as she twisted it and went inside.
She didn't get too far, though, feeling the door be pushed back with a strong amount of force that sent her to the floor.
"Go the hell away, Yaoyorozu!" Reiza shouted within the confines of her room. "I don't want to deal with that stupid pile of crap today, so turn your ass right back around the way it just came and leave me alone!"
Yaoyorozu flinched slightly at the severity of her words, indirectly strengthening her resolve to get in there as she rose up to her feet once more. She was prepared this time and ran an opposing electrical charge through the metal of the door knob, trying to go in hoping that her current theory was correct in what her friend was doing with her quirk
She speculated that Reiza had powered her quirk to take control of the polarity of the door with her Magnetic field. If Yaoyorozu were to create a force that both opposed and was stronger than the amount of force that Reiza had used, then she would be able to artificially cancel out her quirk.
To both her and Reiza's surprise, it actually worked. Yaoyorozu causally walked in to see a room that had seen better days as it nearly looked like a tornado had come in and nearly taken it apart.
Reiza was sitting on the wall that was facing the door, not even bringing her eyes to look up at her as she let out a snarl under her breath.
"Tch, damn it. You would be the one to figure how to do that in the small opening of time before I would notice it." She said with rage burning in her throat.
"Reiza I-"
"What is it now Yaoyorozu? Why is it that you and that damn woman don't just leave me the hell alone when I ask you to!?" She asked as she quickly rose to her feet and grabbed onto Yaoyorozu's collar who remained unfazed as her onyx eyes looked directly into the sky blue ones coated in thick ice.
"I don't need to be pitied…I don't need to be belittled or lied to just for my sake! All you guys ever try to say to me is that you care about my future when I know neither of you don't just as much as I do! There's no point! Not a single damn point to be made anymore that a worthless delinquent like myself has any right to live let alone become a hero within this world! A dream just inside the naïve mind of a child that could never be able to save anyone! Not even her own moth-"
Before she could go any further, a resounding slap filled the room as Reiza stared back at Yaoyorozu's determined gaze as she felt a stinging pain on the left side of her cheek. She surprised her even further when she felt her arms to wrap around her neck and bring her into her chest, feeling herself trembling more and more from the gesture itself as she bit down on her cheek.
"It's okay Kyokusei, alright? It's okay for you to grieve even though you don't want to. I know you're hurt, upset, angry, and frustrated and it's okay to feel this way, because it's natural for you to, so please. Stop withering your heart away and ignoring it and let go so you can try your best to move forward into the future that we both know you want for yourself that I deeply care about just as much as you know Miss Tekine does." Yaoyorozu said comfortingly above her.
It didn't take long for her to hear Reiza let in a shaky breath as she bowed her head further into her chest, slowly reciprocating the hug and let out her first sob.
"M-Momo….I'm sorry b-but i-it hu-hurts…..it hurts so m-much and i-it won't stop anymore." Reiza sniffled.
"I know it does." Yaoyorozu stated simply as she ran her fingers through Reiza's silver hair as she cried softly into her chest. "I know you want to keep being tough for everyone, Kyokusei. But…I'd hope that as your friend, you'll allow me to help carry this burden with you, by allowing me to help you heal."
The only response that Reiza gave her was a small nod of her head in her chest, hugging onto her tighter as she let out more cries under her breath and allowed the mask that she had worn for her true emotions for all this time to fall as she trusted her friend to be able to handle the weight of it all.
[Flashback Ends]
Yaoyorozu smiled solemnly to herself as she looked at the back of Reiza in front of her as she was smiling over at Akari.
She may have her moments at times, but I'm happy that she's still pushing forward to move past that part of her life, she thought to herself.
She got lost in these thoughts for a while before she felt a light flick on her nose, looking up in surprise and seeing Reiza and Akari staring back at her.
"Is there something wrong, Momo?" Reiza asked.
It took a few moments before Yaoyorozu let out a small laugh under her breath, looking at Reiza with a warm smile on her face. "No there's nothing wrong. Just getting lost in the moment with my friends I guess."
Both of the girls in front of her didn't take too much thought into her response as Akari sent her a nod and Reiza gave her a big thumbs up.
They both went back to their regular conversations, talking and laughing with each other all the way to their respective homes.
Several hours later…
It was pretty late when Tekine arrived back to her apartment, letting out a small sigh as she craned the back of her aching neck.
Nezu had asked her to stay behind with the other teachers to go through some of the footage of the participants and give her honest opinions relating to their aptitudes when it came to combat. She doesn't know why or how it began, but she could always be able to read that so well when the opportunity to do it was put out in front of her. It just came to her so easily to the point that it heightened her battle instincts to practically predict what any opponent would do next in most situations.
As she went over and unlocked her door and walked inside, she took her shoes off at the front and sat them down right next to Reiza's. She walked down the hallway and turned into the living room where she looked over at a normal sight of her niece completely out on the couch, sleeping so soundly it just felt rude to disturb her for how so.
She was laying on her back as one of her arms laid across her stomach and the other dangled from next to her. She could see a bucket that may have formerly held ice in it at her side as both of her hands had a brace that went down most of her forearm. She was given those at some point and time by her doctor due to the strain her quirk can have on the muscles in her arms at times when she was not careful...
Meaning stopping a robot about 50x's her size would probably be fitting as to why she was currently wearing them.
Tekine would have normally lectured her for doing something so reckless, but it would negate the good that she saw when she was taking out robots left and right as well as saving others without any remorse that she would lose out on points.
She walked over into another room briefly before she came out with a long cover in her hands and put it over the sleeping teen, watching as she stirred and moaned under her breath briefly before settling right back into her slumber.
"I'm sorry for getting here so late, my little goofball." She said quietly under her breath as she stroked her fingers through Reiza's silver hair. She seemed to smile and lean into the contact on instinct as a small breath came from her lips with her eyes beginning to scrunch slightly.
"Au…nt…Ki…ne….?" She mumbled out, cracking open her hazy blue eyes. "W-When…d-did….you get…h-here?"
"I just did. I had a couple things I had to do before I got here." Tekine remarked.
She still hadn't told Reiza about the possibility that she was going to maybe teach at UA, wanting it to be a surprise if she accepted that she hoped she would like to some degree.
"Al-Alright. I made you…dinner if you want it. I put it in the fridge for you…" Reiza said tiredly as her eyes fell slightly with her voice getting quieter and quieter. "Just warm it up…and…..a-and….."
Tekine looked down and saw that Reiza had fallen back to sleep. She smiled at the sight as she ruffled her sliver hair again and whispered a soft "Thank you," getting up and walking over to the fridge to warm the food that Reiza had nicely prepared for her.
After she was done eating, she went over into her room and got dressed into some more comfortable clothes. She grabbed her laptop and walked back over and laid on the other end of the couch from Reiza as she typed away for a time.
This wasn't unusual for either of them to do this as Reiza would normally wait here for Tekine to get back home. She thought it was both cute and bittersweet at the same time, because she knew the reasons behind it that made her sad at times from thinking into it too much.
It related to the events of her mother, Ayashi, during the last few months that they had been around each other at some capacity. She would always wait for her mother to come home in the same manner, until she didn't do it one day from having an argument with her, where she expressed how much of a bad parent she was from not being around when she needed her.
It would be the same day that she had fallen into her darkness when night fell and never came back to her daughter the same, leading to many days after that where she would find herself alone both night and morning.
She tries her best not to show it at times, but she knows that Reiza still blames herself for what happened to her mother, pushing her to do things as reckless as what she did at the exams in an effort to be there for anyone who needed her which overclouds her own well being at times.
Self-sacrifice is an asset that every hero should have among other things, something that Reiza seemed to embody the most that Tekine wondered if she had too much of at times from not caring about what happens to herself versus other people.
She worried that she would end up getting herself killed from her father being practically the same way as she may have inherited most of her mother's looks, but her personality was definitely her brother's doing. This was an idea that was gradually pushing her to accept the offer at UA in order to be there for her and the other students in any way she could by protecting them and becoming a mentor of sorts from being their teacher.
It was a dream of hers ever since she was little to do something like that, to leave her mark on the world from passing down her knowledge to others since there weren't many others that had done it for her or Kutoro when they were kids, with the one that did making her mark on her even as young of an age as she was.
Aizawa had always known this of her, even after she had rejected it in an effort to live up to her brother's name, throwing away a dream that she felt she had no right to have after losing him as early as she did.
["Teaching the next generation of heroes obviously." He with sheer confidence in his voice. "I have a hunch you did well with that kid in there, since not a lot people can take your hits head on as she can during the training sessions you two have. You would be an excellent asset to have in helping with the students in figuring out their strengths and weaknesses within their fighting styles. And also provide a stronger backing for UA itself by adding another trusted agency for our students to filter into for their work studies and internships…."
"You would finally be able to become the teacher that you wanted to be before you traded your dream out for your brother's. You've already achieved his dream by taking over his agency and establish it and yourself as a hero worthy of respect and ingrained into the hearts of many. So now with this opportunity, you'll be able to do that and reach out for the dream you selflessly left behind. I suggest you take it and allow yourself to finally be selfish for once and push further from the past that has still been holding you back all of this time."]
He has always been there for me ever since I met him at UA…Especially during the time my brother died, and I threw myself into my work to distract myself from that loss. It's something I've always admired him for. Something I honestly love him for no matter how many times he waves it off and says I would do the same for him. Tekine thought as she put her hand over her chest, feeling it beating irregularly for some reason or another as her face began to heat up ever so slightly.
Even though he comes across as cold at times, Shota is definitely teacher material from his drive to do the best that he can to help and look after others….
I just don't know if I can be something like that for the students in the same way that he can as he has always been better than me when it comes to something like that.
She looked over at her sleeping niece from afar, watching on as she turned over to be on her side facing the back of the couch.
Kusei has been the only one I've taught before. Meaning I have some experience of doing it, I guess. But at the same time, she's a natural at this sort of thing just as I am and doesn't need much instruction at times from that keen eye of hers to be able to read movements on the go and strategize even during high tense situations.
After a while of being stuck on that thought, she let out a sigh as a small chuckle escaped her lips.
"If Shota would catch me doing something like this, he would probably call me irrational for overthinking as much as I am right now." She said softly under her breath as she closed her computer.
She put it off to the side on her coffee table as she leaned her head to rest on the pillow behind her, closing her eyes as she tried to go to sleep.
I know I'll figure this out sooner or later. Even though he says it'll always be on the table, I feel it would be right of me to at least give them an answer when their semester starts in April.
Working around Shota, Hizashi, and Nemuri would be a nice thing to do again. It's been a long while where we've worked together in such a way as both pros and close friends…
And then there's Toshinori…
Or All Might as most people call him.
I know he says that boy isn't his but…
A memory flashed into her head of All Might's smiling face, seeing a light in his eyes that she hadn't seen in such a long time as the boy released a powerful attack that nearly threatened to emulate his own.
There's no question…
That boy is trying to follow in his footsteps in some way or another…I couldn't mistake that attack from anyone else's…
Right…
Miss Nana?
