I. Am terribly sorry. For not updating. My WiFi is terrible. Please forgive me. ;-;

Warners: Aw, we forgive you!

Thanks. I've been having mental breakdowns thinking that the readers are going to hate me lol. Here's chapter 7!

No one's POV

"Who are you?" she asked.

"Who are you?" all three of the Warners said in unison.

"M-my name is Kia," Kia said. Yakko looked into her eyes and saw nothing but despair and helplessness.

The sadness in her eyes is just like us, he thought. Yakko looked Kia over. She was a human toon with brown shiny hair and a set of hazel eyes. She was still in her regular clothes, a yellow tee with jean shorts on. She looked about his age, possibly older. Her light skin had a few bruises and cuts, probably when she was struggling to escape.

"Um, hello?" Kia said, waving a hand in Yakko's face. He snapped out of his thoughts as he sat down and looked at her while she was looking back at him. "What's your name?" she asked.

"I'm Yakko," he said. Yakko pulled his siblings over and put them in his lap.

"These are my sibs, Wakko and Dot." Wakko weakly smiled and waved while letting out a small "Hi." Dot just smiled and waved. Kia gasped, noticing the stain on Wakko's gown. Tears were forming in her eyes again.

"What-" she started, but was cut off by the eldest Warner.

"Ehhhhhh...they decided to play a game of doctor with Wak as the patient," Yakko explained but stopped when he saw the frightened look on Kia's face.

"They...what?"

"Let's not explain any further."

Kia sighed shakily. "Looks like I'm stuck here with you three."

"Come on, we're not that bad!" Dot said with a laugh Yakko had longed to hear from either of his siblings. "In fact, I'm cute! But what Yakko forgot to say is, coll me Dottie and you die!" All four of them did nothing but laugh. It wasn't a forced or fake one, an actual laugh in the midst of things.

"What should we do?" Wakko said. He was leaning on Yakko's shoulder for support.

"Well, we have nothing else to do besides waiting until the scientists take us and talk," Yakko said boringly as if he had been through this a hundred times.

"You're happy about the 'talk' part, aren't you?" Dot asked teasingly.

"You know me so well, sister sibling," Yakko said. Kia smiled sadly. No one else seemed to notice her covered sadness until Yakko spoke up.

"Hey Kia, why so sad?" Yakko asked.

"I'm fine, you three just remind me of when I had siblings. I just have my mom and dad now, but I might even lose them since I'm captured here." Kia said with a sad smile. "Might never see them again."

"Can I ask?" Yakko said. He knew he was getting into a sensitive topic about her life.

"A car hit them. All of them." Kia said. "My siblings were playing in the middle of the road, doing whatever. I decided to stay back home. We lived near a dead end, so almost no cars came over beside the ones of the few houses that were also near us. But, there was this one person that lived in said houses that got drunk every night. He usually came back at a specific time, always drunk may I add, somewhere around six in the evening. It was around five-thirty when...it happened."

"They got run over...didcan't they?" Yakko was almost too afraid to ask.

"Said drunk person had come back early. He didn't see the kids that were on the road, who were my siblings. There was blood on the road, so much of it. They weren't able to move out of the way in time. They knew they weren't supposed to play on the road. Sometimes I wish I had died too, so I could be with them again. I didn't even get to say goodbye."

Kia was crying at this point. Wakko and Dot had sad faces. Dot walked over to her and hugged her arm.

"You're not alone anymore. You have us now," she said. Kia smiled and picked her up.

"She's cute," Kia said. Dot grinned.

"I get that all the time." Dot replied with a giggle.

"So, Kaylee-"

"It's Kia, Yakko."

"I like Kaylee better. Anyway, what's your favorite color?" Yakko wanted to know her better.

Rick walked up to a door. He was hesitant to knock at first, but took a deep breath and did so. Seconds passed until he heard a voice.

"Come in."

Rick slowly opened the door to find the man sitting at his desk, lighting a cigarette. He eyed him until he spoke up.

"What do you want Rick?" he asked in a gruff voice.

Rick fidgeted with his fingers in nervousness. Beads of sweat were rolling down his forehead.

"I... um... I..."

The man slammed his fists on his desk, causing Rick to jump. "Spit it out!"

"I don't want to work for you anymore, Jackson!"

Jackson took a puff of smoke. He then raised an eyebrow and gave a sinister smile that sent chills up Rick's spine.

"Then you have to live with memories of your dead family."

"You wouldn't."

"Oh, but I would." Jackson pulled out a knife and a gun. "You don't know me. You also have to live with the guilt of the toons that died."

Rick froze. Oceans of guilt and regret washed over him. All the toons that have been murdered... The four that were in the basement with one injured...

"You monster!" Rick yelled. "You decide to experiment on toons for no reason whatsoever! You're sick!"

"You were the one that agreed to do this with me." Jackson replied calmly.

"Because you forced me to! You threatened to kill my family!"

"I still can."

Rick sighed. He didn't have a choice. Either stay and watch as toons are tortured, or leave and have his entire family killed.

"Fine. I'll stay." he lied.

He was going to leave and taking his family and the four toons with him, far away where Jackson will never see them again.

Well. That was quite a chapter, wasn't it?

Warner siblings: We think you did great!

Aw, thanks! Chapter eight is in the works! Bye for now!
