Red, Blue & Green Chapter Part 9

"Here it is. I hope you are happy." Red says with a reluctant tone as the four of them arrived at the Game Corner. Ash sighs and says, "We barely escape the troops, and now she is leading us to the base."

"I wonder what she is up to." Alice mutters, but Green immediately shushes them as they don't want to be found. Red says, "Maybe they won't be looking for us now that they've got their disk back though..."

"After all the trouble getting it, you don't think I'd give it back, do you?" Green says as she takes out the disk, and Ash widens his eyes, "Wait, does that mean the one you gave out is fake?"

"Of course, maybe you are better than Red after all." Green says, and Ash says, "No thanks, Alice and I are in a relationship and we don't intend to break it."

This causes her to pout and then Green says, "Whatever, while this one will help me catch the cutest Pokemon ever, which is Mew."

"Why do you want Mew?" Alice asks with curiosity. Green says, "I was trying to catch it...so I can make money from it."

This causes them to be angry, Ash says, "Pokemon are not trade items, and why do you need the money?"

Green flinches at the tone and she begins to cry, this time it is real tears and she says, "I need to survive in this world, I was kidnapped from my family by a bird Pokemon and then I got phobia with Bird type Pokemon...I want money because I want to be back..."

Ash and Alice are now feeling sorry for the girl, and Ash says, "I am sorry, but there are other ways to do that after all..."

Red says, "Though I don't know what you guys are talking about, but what is a Mew?"

This causes them to realize that he doesn't know about this Pokemon. So Green uses her Ditto to show her what it looks like. "Hard to tell it's not real, huh? Now Ditty, go fool Team Rocket again, okay?"

This causes them to be curious about what she is planning, then she says, "While I track down the real Mew...Ditty can keep Team Rocket company! And by the way, they think that we're working as a team, so you're going to have to help me now."

And much to their surprise, the Rocket grunts actually fall for it, and then Green takes out a gadget, Ash asks, "What is that?"

"It's called Mew-vision. Psychic Pokemon emit brainwaves when using telekinesis, and each Pokemon has a certain pattern. So by inputting Mew's pattern...I should be able to zero it on..."

Just then, she is surprised to see that in Ash's pocket there is a same pattern, and she asks, "What's going on here? Why is the gadget showing Ash's pocket?"

Ash says, "Well, this isn't a place to talk about, let's go somewhere far away from the Rockets."

As they head south, Red asks Alice, "That thing we saw in the Rocket Base...is Team Rocket really using Mew to create some monster?"

"Well, I wouldn't say that it is a monster, it is called Mewtwo." Alice says, "Let's say that we have bad experiences with the Pokemon..."

After finding that they are safe, Ash takes out a Pokeball and says, "Come on out, Mew."

Red and Green are shocked to see that Ash captures Mew in his pocket. Red says, "No way, how did you have this Pokemon?"

"We have it since we are little, it is our friend." Alice says, "And I won't have you sell it away for money."

"Please..." Green says again and Red asks, "Why did you want to sell it for money?"

Green flinches a little as she doesn't want Red to know about it, she says, "Any idea how many kinds of Pokemon have been discovered so far?"

"Well, duh! There's 150 Pokemon in this world."

"Wrong." Ash says, "Right now there are a total of 898 Pokemon in the world. And Mew is actually the Number 151, also known as the Phantom Pokemon. It's undocumented, uncaught, and almost completely unknown. Every breeder in the world is dying to get their hands on it."

"And just imagine how much I could sell it for." Green says, and Ash says, "And that is why we refuse to let you sell it, even though you have a hard past."

"Yeah, and Team Rocket is making an evil bio-weapon, and you're here trying to sell it as a pet..."

Just then, they hear a sound as they dodge a falling rock, and Team Rocket has already come and the high ranked member says, "Did you really think you'd get away with this?!"

He also throws an unconscious Ditto back to Green, and she gasps, "Oh no, looks like they figured it out." Then the rocket member uses Jynx to use Psywave, Ash says, "Mew, dodge the attack."

Mew dodges the attack and Ash says, "Let's show them your true power. Use Aura Sphere."

Mew tries to do the attack, but with the Lovely Kiss, it falls asleep. Then the Psychic attack is hurling Mew towards the Rocket member. "It's mine! Mewtwo will be complete! And we can destroy anything and anyone in our way!"

Alice says, "No you don't. Jigglypuff. Wake Up Slap." Alice has her Pokemon use the move to wake up Mew, and Mew is feeling rage at the Rockets as it uses Psychic to knock out the Rocket members and the Jynx.

"Return, Mew." Ash says as Red says, "At least Team Rocket still doesn't have it."

Green smiles and takes out the camera, "And at least I'll make some money off these first ever photos of Mew!"

"Wait, when did you...?" Red asks, but Alice says, "You could have helped us fighting against them as well."

"Sorry about that. But I need to go now." Then she takes off with her own Jigglypuff. Red says, "I almost forgot, my badges!"

But they see on the ground that Green leaves a note with two badges, it says, "Thanks for everything, cutie."

Ash says, "Maybe she's not so bad after all..."

Alice says, "I agree... I hope she could find her family again and cure her bird phobia."

When they are about to get back to the Pokemon Center, they hear a familiar voice, "Stop right there!"

They turn around and they see an unruly Porygon, Ash says, "A Porygon?"

Then Red was bumped by a person, who turns out to be no other than Blue, their Pokeballs all fall down to the ground and Ash asks, "Blue?"

He helps him up and asks, "Is that Porygon yours?" Blue nods and says, "Return, Porygon."

"You caught a Porygon? But those are extremely rare! Where did it come from?" Red says.

But Blue ignores him and he mutters, "They told me that it would be harder to train than a normal Pokemon caught in the wild, but this is ridiculous. It's useless to me..."

Ash says, "Maybe you have to wait until it opens up to you? I am sure that I met a lot of Pokemon like that and by doing so would solve my problems."

Blue says, "I would try it out." Then he picks up the Pokeballs and he turns around, "Unfortunately, I'll be seeing you soon."

"Hold on! I wanna hear more about-" Red says, "I apologize, but I have things to do, besides, Ash and Alice have knowledge of Porygon, you can just ask them."

After he leaves, Alice says, "He is right, you know..."

Red mutters, "Good old Blue, friendly as ever."

Just then, they hear screams and they notice taht two women are being attacked by wild Pokemon, Red decides to be the hero as he tries to send out Pikachu, but instead, a Charmeleon appears.

"What?" Red is shocked and tries to call out all his Pokémon, only to send out Golduck, Machoke, Pidgeot, and Scyther.

"They aren't my Pokemon!" Red says, the two women mistake Red for "the famous Blue" because he has a Pokédex, Charmeleon, and Golduck. Pestered by the women into showing off his skills, Red decides to battle and orders Charmeleon to use Flamethrower, but mistakenly calls it "Charmander" - much to the Pokémon's complete lack of response, and leaving Red to be trampled by the horde of wild Pokémon.

Ash says, "This is getting nowhere. Pikachu, Thunderbolt on them."

Alice says, "Eevee, Quick Attack."

The two Pokemon manages to knock down the Pokemon, after calling Red a fake and insulted him after his spectacular failure, the two women recognizes Ash and Alice as they ask for their autograph, which they gladly give out to them.

"I still find it hard to believe...all my Pokemon getting switched with Blue..." Red sighs.

"Well, until we find him, you will need to train them for a while." Alice says.

"Yeah, we can help you as well." Ash says, then he turns to the Pokemon and says, "How about you guys start your own training?"

The Pokemon surprisingly listen to Ash as they start jogging. Red says, "Green has trained these Pokemon very well...and I am surprised that they will listen to you."

"Well, we know all the Pokemon and we can tell by their personalities." Ash says as he pets the Pokemon after they stop, "But Blue hardly give you some rest, right? How about you try doing something that is relaxing?"

After three days, Ash, Alice and Red sit at a campfire with Blue's Pokémon. While the Pokémon no longer show aggression towards Red. "How come they just listen to you two while they don't do it to me? After all of our Pokemon battles in the past few days, all I caught was these two." Red shows the Diglett and Krabby.

Ash says, "Because you and Blue are acting differently, that's why they don't trust you. While the two of us will think of how Blue will train and this is why they open up to us instead."

Gazing into the distance, they spots a Ninetales and realizes it is fighting something - to be precise, Red's Pikachu, being commanded by Blue. Blue orders a Toxic from Pika, who delivers the attack with a gash from its tail, and remarks that while Pikachu is an Electric Pokémon, it didn't mean a good Trainer couldn't teach it non-Electric attacks. He tells Pikachu to finish it, but the Ninetales gets away and charges towards Red while also releasing fire at him.

Ash says, "Machoke! Help your trainer out."

As the Pokemon appears, Blue yells, "What are you thinking? Are you trying to kill Machoke?"

"I won't try to kill any Pokemon." Ash says, though Blue starts to have a fight with Red about how they're treating each other's Pokemon. Ash says, "Stop fighting you two. Look at Machoke."

They notice that Machoke evolves into a Machamp, and it successfully manages to pin Ninetales. Ash says, "The only way that Machoke to evolve into a Machamp is by trading. And that is how it is done."

Blue and Red nod as they throw their own Poké Balls at it - Red's Poké Ball captures the Ninetales, but Blue argues that his Machamp was the one who weakened it for capture, and thus claims the Ninetales.

The next day, both Trainers have re-exchanged their Pokémon and gone their separate ways. When Red opens his Pokeballs, they see the three of them start jogging like what Blue trains his Pokemon, and Red notices that they are charging at him and he begins to run.

"Help me! Your eyes are scaring me! What did Blue do to you?" Red yells.

Ash and Alice look at Red and Ash shrugs, "He still has a lot to learn."

"I agree." Alice says, "Well, how about we go train for the Celadon Gym?"

"Sure." Ash says as they chase after Red and his Pokemon.

Here is a new chapter, and Red knows the truth that Ash and Alice have Mew. The next chapter is going to be Ash's fourth Gym battle and Red's new Pokemon, Eevee.
