"That bullhead took forever even with the entertainment."

"If you count making me wanna play Russian Roulette with six bullets entertainment, then sure. Now will you be quiet so I can tell Oz what you did already?"

"What did young Yin do Qrow? Is it something bad?"

"No, precisely the fucking opposite. Oz... he fixed my fucking aura. My semblance is under my control now."

"... what?" That got Oz's attention.

"This weird kid you picked up fixed my aura on a hunch. A fucking HUNCH."

"... I see. You don't understand how grateful I am to you Yin. My friend has spent his entire life with bad luck. To fix this... this has never happened before. How did you fix Qrow's aura?"

"How do I describe this to you... you how some people intentionally inject themselves with a small dose of poison to create a resistance to it?"

"I am aware of it, though the practice is far more dangerous than its benefits would outweigh."

"What I did is flip that shit around. I transferred my aura into Qrow with the sole intent to show his aura system how a completely working aura system functions. From there I assume from the boost I was giving Qrow, his aura starts to kind of... mimic? Yeah, that's a good word. It started to mimic my aura and patched itself up with my aura supporting it."

"This case may be the first of its kind. I've never heard of or seen such phenomena occur before."

"Also that took almost half my aura to fix him, keep in mind my aura pool is probably in the top ten in all of Remnant. This may have been attempted by others before but they just couldn't sustain the aura required to complete the process."

"That's good information to know. If your aura is as large as you say it is, there may not be many how can replicate the process. The only ones I can think of in recent memory with unusual amounts of aura are the Arc family, but only two of them are retired huntsman."

"I'm not sure how many people are like Qrow in that their aura is sort of broken, but he can't be the only one. It's just not statistically possible."

"This has been... informative to say the least. You've done a great thing today young man. May I inform General Ironwood of this event?"

"Nah. If you're good at something, never do it for free."

Qrow laughs at that.

"That's good advice, speaking of... wasn't I supposed to get a raise Oz?"

"I'm sorry, what did you say? I think you're breaking up."

Ozpin hangs up the call and Qrow bursts into laughter.

"Oh... oh man. I needed that. I think you even baffled him. The great headmaster of Beacon! The man who's seen more shit than both of us put together and you caught him off guard. I'm half thinking about adopting you into my family for this."

"Not like I have a family anyway. Adopt me all you want, but I get to call you a Qrunt."

Qrow burst into laughter again.
