…Holiday…

I spent a lovely holiday with my family. I received a necklace from Mrs. Zabini. It was a lovely thin chain golden necklace with amethyst gems inlaid around a diamond. I placed it on my neck. I heard the others going downstairs. The Weasley's, Hermione, and Harry were arriving soon for lunch and to spend the day with us. I opened my gift from Blaise. It was a bracelet made exactly like the necklace. I wiped tears from my eyes. I got dressed in a simple skirt and blouse. I slid my feet into a pair of flats and let my hair down.

I descended the stairs. The cousins were here today too, so I went to the living room with everyone. I sat by Izzy and Aithley. Auntie Amber came over and smirked. "Just like your father. That boy of yours is just like your father."

Mum came over curious as to what auntie Amber was talking about. "Look at your daughter. This is insanity." Mum looked at me and burst out laughing. "She does. She's acting just like I did when Sirius proposed.", she covered her face with her hands.

Izzy looked at me and her jaw dropped. "Bloody hell!" Auntie Adalene came over. She went and hit uncle Severus on the head lightly. "What are you teaching that boy in your schoolhouse. He'll spoil my poor niece!"

Uncle Severus looked over and choked on his tea. He started laughing, "Sirius!" Dad came in followed by my other uncles. "Isn't a lovely Christmas gift Sirius?", uncle Severus nudged him. Dad wasn't moving. Mum went over and started tapping him while my uncles snickered. "Is something wrong?", I asked innocently. Dad made a choking sound.

Before dad could say anything the Weasley's, Hermione, and Harry arrived. Mum had to sit dad down in a chair. She went to greet them. I high-fived auntie Asayo as mum left the room. We regained composure as the rest of the guests came in.

Ginny ran over to me mouth agape. "It's official. This is just showing off. Shame on the two of you." I pouted. "Would it make you feel better if I showed you pictures of what I sent them for Christmas? If you see that then these gifts will look like nothing.", I whined. I pulled two pictures from the shelf behind me.

"The first one was my gift to Mrs. Zabini, and the second one I sent to Blaise.", I explained. The first picture was a portrait of Blaise I painted in my free time. The second one was a portrait of all my family and friends. "Why the whole family and friends, things?", Auntie Sofia asked. I laughed, "He finds our family very mind-numbing with all the different eye colors. Technicolor living, you know."

My aunts all laughed as the understood. I went into the kitchen and brought out the appetizers for people to eat. "Aww, dad. You should eat something.", I patted his shoulder. He'd been mumbling to himself since he sat down. I placed a mini saucer of mini cupcakes in his hand.

"You've absolutely done a number on your poor dad.", uncle Remus sighed dramatically. I placed my hands on my hips. I looked at him with an innocent expression and put a hand over my heart. "Why I never in all my days!", I said in a southern accent. Dad and uncle Remus went red.

I helped mum set the tables and bring out the food. Everyone came outside and we sat down to eat. Izzy was chatting with Charlie and Hermione about dragons. I was chatting with Ginny. Mum brought out the dessert.

As the hours passed the guests slowly began to leave. Some uncles were still laughing at dad, and the aunties had to push them out the door to stop their teasing. Izzy, Ava, and Lucas went to bed. I helped mum clean up.

Dad trudged in the kitchen. "We need to talk." He sat at the table. I fixed him a strong cup of tea. I handed him the cup and sat in front of him. Mum stood behind him and rested her head on the top of his.

"I know that your growing up and there are certain things I cant stop you from doing some of the things in life that you want but,...", he got choked up and I gave got up and hugged him. "I'll always be your darling little girl that you taught to drive a flying motorbike.", I whispered. "Ugh, you two are helpless.", mum snapped with a laugh.

…Destruction of Study Habits…

The break ended and we boarded the train. Hermione went to find the boys. Izzy went to find Luna and Ginny went looking for Dean. I strolled down the train. "Hey there!", I called out as I saw Blaise. He was stood at a window watching the passing scenery. He looked up and smiled. He opened his arms and I jumped into them. "I missed you too!", he chuckled.

We went inside the train compartment. "Did you like the gift I sent you?", I asked playing with his hands. "Very nice. Almost like it was breathing.", he replied. I looked up at him. He gave a half smirk. "How'd your parents react to the news of our officially dating?", he asked. I scoffed, "I didn't even get to tell them. Some kids that were in Hogsmeade that day and saw us were telling their parents as they passed by mine. They stole my news!"

He laughed. "However, my dad's reaction to the Christmas gifts… Priceless!", I cheered. "Wow, we didn't go, overboard did we?", he seemed a bit nervous. "Uh, well not really. It was more like an official statement.", I summed it up. "Then define 'priceless'.", he looked into my eyes. "Dad kind of went into a state of shock for the rest of the day, because he realized I was growing up and not the little girl who he taught to fly a motorbike over London anymore.", I rambled.

Blaise froze. "He taught you to what?" "He has this flying motorbike that he taught me how to fly when I was younger.", I explained. He put a hand over his face. He didn't make any noise, but I could still tell he was laughing.

I leaned my head on his shoulder. "The necklace really looks good on you.", he whispered. "Why thank you.", I replied, "Do you want know what the best part of the day was? When auntie Adalene smacked uncle Severus upside his head and demanded to know as your head of house what he was teaching you. She thinks you're spoiling me.", I muttered.

"Your going to get me into trouble.", he mumbled. I looked at him. "Sorry. I didn't start it. It was my aunt Amber. Then it sort of spiraled from there.", he didn't respond. I sat up. He was looking at the ceiling. I turned his head to me. "Hey. They joke like that all the time. If you need proof, I can show you pictorial evidence of all the stupid things they used to do." He nodded, but still said nothing.

I turned his head back to me. I kissed him. "Say you forgive me." He just looked at me. I climbed onto his lap. I kissed him again. "Please?!", I begged. I kissed him again slower, longer, deeper. "I forgive you.", he whispered as he wrapped his arms around my waist. I kissed him again and wrapped my arms around his neck.

The next morning at breakfast Luna came over with a bag. She opened it and handed a bag to each of the others. "What bet is this now?", I asked as I watched her. "Solving a minor disagreement through non-verbal means.", she smiled. "What?!", Hermione screeched. "I may have told him about Christmas.", I mumbled as I took an interest in my fruit salad. "How'd you get out of that?", Izzy smiled slyly. "The same tactics he used on me third year in the library.", I waved her off. Luna sighed heavily and passed out another two rounds of bags. "I had my suspicions, but I wasn't quite sure.", she stated. I looked at them in confusion.

Since the incident in Hogsmeade Blaise was a little bit more open with his tactics. I was happy that Ron and Hermione were on better terms now. I heard that he and Lavender had broken up.

I was in the library studying on a Friday afternoon. Not because I wanted to, but because Blaise had asked my siblings about my grades and dragged me here. "Ugh, I'd rather be outside drawing.", I complained. He chuckled, "Then study." I whined quietly and poked him. "Please, just one hour.", I begged. Unfortunately for me this had no effect on Studious Blaise. Not only did it have no effect, but he took my art supplies and music hostage.

I opened my book again. I closed it after 10 minutes and switched. I kept this pattern up for an hour. Blaise stood and sat next to me. he slid my chair right next to his. He cracked open the first book and slid my notes over. He watched as I took notes. When I finally finished studying to his standards, he gave me back my things. "That wasn't so bad was it?", he asked. I looked at him sarcastically. "You're the one taking O.W.L.s not me.", he said teasingly.

I stretched and yawned. He ruffled my hair, and we left the library. Much to Izzy's excitement and happiness Blaise kept making me study like that. "It's the beginning of spring. I should be outside. In the fresh winter spring air. Taking photos and drawing.", I whined to Izzy over lunch. She shook her head. "You sound just like your father.", she imitated mum's stern voice. I stuck my tongue out at her.

I was waiting by the library entrance Saturday morning for Blaise to come. He arrived a minute later. He guided me to an empty section of the library. Just like he had for the past three months he slid into a chair and I slid in next to him. This study session was brutal we were right by an open window with the breeze coming through.

"Do I have to study? My grades have risen significantly.", I whispered as I placed my head on his shoulder. He placed a potions book in front of me. I kissed his neck. He put notes on the table. I crossed my arms and put them on the table and rested my head on top. I felt him move my hair off my neck. He kissed my neck multiple times and whispered study.

I sat up and looked through the notes. As I read the notes I started to move around. I put my head back on his shoulder and I threw my legs over his. I finished the assigned chapters and closed the book. I slid it out of the way and opened the book for the History of Magic. I'd scribbled important notes in the margins of the book.

I finished studying it in less than 10 minutes. I looked at Blaise to see what he was doing. He seemed to be muttering something to himself. He stopped when he realized I was done studying. I tilted my head at him. "Repeating the notes to yourself sometimes helps.", he explained looking slightly embarrassed. I put my head back on his shoulder.

I waited patiently for him to finish studying. He slid some papers towards me. "Test papers?", I asked incredulously. He gave me a look. "I've already finished studying. I'll be quiet. I'll behave.", I promised. He shook his head and pointed at the papers. I turned back to the papers with a pout. I started filling them out. I moved my head off his shoulder and my legs from his lap.

I finished the test papers and shoved them at his books. He pinched my waist. I sketched mini pictures on my notes. Blaise cleared his throat. I kept sketching. He placed his hands over mine. I turned to look at him. His face was a few inches from mine. He put my legs back in his lap. "Don't move away again.", he gave me a kiss and went bake to work.

I poked him on the shoulder. He looked at me. I kissed him and placed my head on his shoulder. He wrapped an arm around my shoulder. I read what he was reading quietly.
