Chapter 9
Ash and Alice notices a hole in the Fields of Honor and Ash says, "Well, we haven't gone to the Courageous Cavern, why don't we go inside?"
Alice says, "Sure." As they enter the cave, not only that notice some Pokemon, they also notice some Max Mushrooms inside of the cave. "There are also some Max Mushrooms as well."
"Yeah, speaking of it, maybe we can pick up some more if there are Pokemon in the Isle of Armor might be Gigantamaxing as well." Ash says as they pick some, eventually when they get out of the cave, they are now inside of a bay which is surrounded, they notice a dojo student there waving at them. "Ash, Alice. Over here."
Ash and Alice walk up to the trainer and then the student says, "You've got to see the view from here. Come on, why don't you and Kubfu enjoy the scenery together?"
"Well, this place sure is nice." Ash says as the Kubfu are also excited about the place. As they walk around, they find a Pokemon which is made of sand and the shovel is on the head, Ash pales a little and says, "Don't tell me even this Pokemon..."
"What is that Pokemon?" Alice asks in confusion, "Why are you so scared of that Pokemon?"
"That is a Sandygast..." Ash says as they notice the Pokemon evolving into a sand castle Pokemon. "And that is a Pallosand, and trust me, I have a bad encounter with this kind of Pokemon."
"How come?" Alice asks, noticing how bit it is.
"First, if you touch the shovel, you are going to be possessed by this Pokemon, after all, it is a Ghost Type...second, I accidentally knocked off the shovel on its head, and then it devours me..."
"Wait, are you serious? Devour?" Alice asks with a little pale. "How are you still alive them?"
"Like a giant sand castle, it won't danger you, but Pokemon, on the other hand, will be. At that time we managed to use Ice Type Pokemon to freeze it, that is how I got out of the castle."
Alice says, "Well...then should we capture this Pokemon?"
"We can...if we want to fill in the Pokedex, but Pikachu and Kubfu can't do anything since it is a Ground Ghost Type. Like Runerigus after all."
Then Ash uses the new Blastoise to battle the Pokemon, and Blastoise's attack just raises its defense, much to their surprise, but in the end, with the Bite and Crunch, Blastoise manages to defeat the Pallosand and Ash captures it.
After the Loop Lagoon, they decide to go inside the Brawler's Cave next, as usual, they meet the student of the Master Dojo as they also enjoy the scenery together. Alice notices a Pokemon and she says, "Ash, look at that Azumarill, it's so cute."
Ash turns around and says, "Wow, even Azumarill is here. Azumarill is cute, but with the ability Huge Power it is also strong."
Pikachu and Kubfu start to play with the Pokemon and they eventually become friends, this causes Alice to have a chance to capture this Pokemon. Then they also notice two frog Pokemon who are battling against each other, Ash says, "Wow, a Poliwrath and a Politoed."
"I remember those two evolved from the same Pokemon, Poliwhirl, right? Though I wonder how did it happen..." Alice says.
"Poliwrath was evolved when Poliwhril touches the Water Stone, but for Politoed, it would need the item known as the King's Rock. Much like the one in our bag."
"Yeah, the Slowpoke that we got from that Diglett guy gave us one." Alice says, then Pikachu decides to battle them and give them each a Thunderbolt, making Ash and Alice easier to capture them.
"This place sure is full of Water Types." Alice says, "I am sure that one of your former travel companions, Misty, might be jealous about this place, right?"
"Yeah." Ash says as he notices a Golduck as well as Psyduck. "Though she didn't like Psyduck at first."
"Why is that? Psyduck looks cute, and Golduck looks cool as well." Alice asks in confusion. Ash says, "Psyduck gives her a headache, because of his headaches and numerous breaking out of the Pokeball on its own."
"That sure is funny." Alice giggles a little. Then they also capture the Pokemon with the help of their Appletun.
"Even Whismur, Loudred and Exploud are in the cave." Ash notices the Pokemon and Ash says, "It is a good thing that I brought this."
Alice is confused as Ash gives her a pair of earplugs, but then when they hear the roar of the Pokemon, she quickly puts them on and says, "The cave sure has a great echo, I am glad that I can still hear anything..."
"Yeah." Ash says as he sends out Lucario to battle this time, and with the Aura Sphere, it knocks out one of the Exploud and Ash captures it.
"Seems like we finished almost 70 percent of the Pokedex." Alice looks at the Rotom Phone and says.
"Yeah. And the next place is the Challenge Road that Master Mustard asks us to go." Ash says as they get out of the cave.
Once they are at the Challenge Road, they find a Skarmory flying around, Alice says, "A Skarmory...this place sure is full of strange Pokemon."
"You're right. And look how high we are..." Ash notices the cliff and says, "Well, Alice. How about I show you one of my partners to capture this Skarmory?"
Ash takes out his own Dusk Form Lycanroc, who nuzzles at him after being sent out. Alice just widen her eyes and says, "I haven't seen a Lycanroc like this before..."
"Well, it is a new form that I discovered, it only appeared when my Rockruff has the ability Own Tempo, and when we see the Green Flash, which only appears at Dusk." Then he shows off the Pokemon's power to knock out Skarmory, letting Ash capture it. "And it is because of him that I won the Alola League."
"That's cool." Alice replies. They also notice some Mienshao training near the Tower of Darkness, so with the help of the newly captured Skarmory, they manage to capture one of the Mienshao. They also watch the view with the help of another student, and then the Diglett they caught are now 100.
Once they get back to the Diglett trainer, he gives them something that they haven't expected, a Popplio. "A Popplio. It is a good thing that all the Alola Starters, I only miss this Pokemon."
"So you also have a Rowlet as well? I know you told me the story of how you met Incineroar." Alice says.
"Yeah, it was a heavy sleeper..." Ash sighs and he starts to wonder how to train the Popplio.
They also got a gift, and much to their surprise, it is an Exeggutor. Alice feels strange of how tall it is, and Ash explains to her about the Exeggutor since back in the Alola Trainer's School, there is a lot of them to be honest.
Now they are inside the Warm Up Tunnel, where they see a lot of Ground Type Pokemon living there. Alice says, "This is where I found three clusters of Max Mushrooms in the same place. Though Klara wanted to fight me for them."
"It is a good thing that you won in the end? Though I found a cave full of Max Mushroom and I did try to offer Avery some, but he refused and requested a battle instead." Ash says, "But this place gives me the feeling of Kanto. Sandshrew and Sandslash, Cubone and Marowak, and even the Kangaskhan are here. And living in Alola for a year makes me almost forget what Sandshrew, Sandslash and Marowak look like."
"Yeah, and we have the Alolan forms in our party as well." Alice says as they send out the Pokemon to play, Ash also tells Alice about the story of his Pikachu and how he bonded with a Kangaskhan before meeting him. After that, they manage to capture all the new Pokemon as they arrived at the desert.
"A desert is something that I didn't expect in the Isle of Armor." Alice says.
"Me too. But...Oh my gosh! Is that a Volcarona?" Ash yells in surprise as they see the Pokemon just floating by. "Those Pokemon are really rare!"
"I guess you want to catch it?" Alice asks and Ash smiles, "You bet." Then he sends out his own Krookodile, much to Alice's surprise. "Why is this Krookodile wearing glasses?"
"Well, he has it because he was shy, so he needs the glasses to act tough and also boosts the Dark Type power." Ash says as he commands a Stone Edge, knocking out the Volcarona from the sky, and then Ash captures it with many balls because of how hard it is to catch.
"Of all the Pokemon, I never expected to see Volcarona in this place." Ash says as he hugs the Pokeball tightly.
Alice asks, "So what's the story of your Krookodile?"
Ash then tells her how he meets him as a Sandile, and then how he follows them and captures him as a Krokorok. Alice is surprised to learn that the Pokemon has gone through almost half of the Unova Region to find Ash and battle his Pikachu. Then Krookodile also shows respect to Alice as Alice is feeling good of it.
Once they finish exploring the place, they immediately go back to the dojo. Before they go to Mustard, they go to Honey first and show Honey the Watts they have collected.
"What's this? How did you manage to get all those Watts just within hours?" Honey asks in shock and Ash says, "Well, we manage to find the Digging Pa and Digging Ma, and they help us dig those Watts. Are those enough?"
"They are enough of course." Honey says, "With these, the Dojo is going to be brand new." Honey says.
After a while, they are amazed that the Dojo now has a hairstylist who doesn't want to come out of his room for fear of his secrets are revealed, a Rotomi was added near the battlefield, though it was broken when they first use it, which causes them to waste 10,000 more Watts to fix it. And there is also several vending machines, where they can buy battle items, Soda Pop, Lemonade, Protein, Iron, Calcium, Zinc, HP Up and Carbos. They also purchase a new refrigerator that can be used to collect camp cooking ingredients like Fruit Bunch, Moomoo Cheese, Large Leek and Sausages. There is also a Dojo League card background for them to use.
"Thank you for doing this to me." Honey says, "I think I can thank you guys with this."
Ash and Alice each get a League Card from Honey, it is her own League card and Alice asks, "Ms. Honey, are you a strong battler? Will we be able to battle you?"
Honey says, "Of course, I am a strong trainer after all, though before we have a battle, I am sure that you have some unfinished business with my hubby, right?"
"Oh right, we need to show him the progress of our Kubfu." Ash says as they bid Honey farewell as they head into the next room to find Mustard.
Here is a new chapter, and in this chapter, I decided to put all the watt upgrades except for Honey related to this story. Ash and Alice also explore the four places that Mustard requested them to go and they also gain a lot of friendship with Kubfu. I also didn't want to write about Diglett after finding 50, the rewards become 75 and then 100. I hope you like it and the next one is going to be the two Towers.
