Chapter 9
Mini war
Fallon's point of view.
"So, that's how you two boys ended up almost having sex on the cafeteria's sofa.." Sapphire says from beside me, as I sit here quietly observing Felix's responses and body language towards the situation at hand.
He definitely seems to be stiff about talking over his actions. But he also seems confused— as if he weren't sure on if it was the right thing to do— or if it was with the right person.
He's very odd...
"Hey, Felix. Did you hear? Fallon is joining the surf competition!" Sapphire squeals with obvious fantasy towards the idea of me in just shorts with a shark tooth necklace laced around my neck.
I almost go to give her a glare, but the boy across the table slams his hands against the tabletop in such a hurry I become lost for words.
"As much as I would like to agree or comment on what you just said— what right do you have to blurt out Fallon's business? None. Not even Felix has the right to share what goes on in Fallon's life— and he's his brother. So, just think about that for a moment." The boy hisses at Sapphire whose jaw dropped by the idea of someone shooting her 'hot looks' down.
I go to say something, but Felix's voice cuts me off.
"Well, I'm joining the surfing competition too." He states with his chin held high, and a coldness seeping through his blue eyes when they rest on my figure.
The boy next to Felix looks at him with a raised eyebrow but ignores him regardless, snatching a packet of hot and spicy smith chips from out of the food pile we have stashed in the centre of the table.
"I bet Fallon would still beat your lazy ass." Sapphire purrs with a hand pampering her strands of blond hair that she tucks behind her ear, showing the nape of her neck in attempt to turn us boys on.
I bite my tongue in a painful way, trying to hold in my second head's hetero excitement.
Stuff her for knowingly doing this to me!
"Oh, please. You really expect him to float a bookshelf on a wave? He'll sink way before he even lifts it into the water." Felix snickers with a wink at me, causing me to clench the corner of the table with aggression.
"And what's your excuse? Like you can surf!" I growl through gritted teeth at Felix, but he raises an eyebrow in response to the new emotion I've shown.
"I can actually swim." Felix states with a grin, but I wasn't going to let him get away with this so easily.
"Says the person that was kicking the sand with his foot from where he stood on the beach next to the waves shouting out— "Why can't I connect my phone charger to a PowerPoint here!?" I lash back harshly, causing the boy to look at Felix with an amused smirk.
"You seriously don't know why?" The boy comments in which Felix flushes to.
"In the moment I didn't because I was so mad, but now I do." He states sheepishly while itching a finger on the back of his head.
"You're far too lazy to even get on a board." I point out with hand gestures of a stick man and a board so that his pea-sized brain would understand what the sinking part of the stick man meant.
He rolls his eyes and snatches a box of sushi from off the table and opens the container, pulling out one thick 5-inch sushi wrapped in seaweed.
"This is your book." He says while pointing to the sushi. I follow his next hand gesture when he hands the container of sushi to the boy next to him.
"Hold this for me, babe." He calmly says while holding the sushi firmly in his hand, kinda looking like a penis...
"Focus." Felix growls when he sees me get lost in thought.
I nod my head to signal that he has my focus now, but when he eats the sushi— I lose it again.
"I'm the wave." He states coldly. "I'll knock your nerd self-off your board and drown you in the waves of rage that will flow on the tides."
I gap subconsciously being lost for words.
Damn...
"And in result to that— I'll be the prize in mum and dad's eyes for bringing home the first trophy ever into our family. Or you could fight me on the waves buddy boy." He sneers the last sentence like he had no hope in me at all, which angered me.
"Fine. Bring it on, Felix." I maliciously hiss, which he smirks to.
"Oh, I will Fallon. Just make sure you write and read the last chapter of your journalised diary regarding to your fame." He purrs with amusement, eating more sushi.
"That won't be necessary." I growl through gritted teeth, but he's already turned to the boy next to him in question.
"When's the first tryout?" Felix asks, in which the boy nods his head, searching the school's webpage on his phone for the event details.
"Today, in two hours." He informs us, causing Felix and I to meet eye contact at the same time with the competition quite noticeable between us.
"Good. Because by that time, Fallon and I will have signed up online to the event." Felix states with a grin on his lips.
I nod my head in agreement, "Indeed."
"I still say Fallon will win!" Sapphire cheers with a faint pink blush on her cheeks.
I blush in return to her support.
Who would've thought...I'm having a mini war with my brother.?
