David was humming a tune while he is carting his curry to his Pokemon. "No, no, that's not it. It's so much harder when you have to come up with the lyrics yourself."

Some of his pokemon looked at him with concern over this.

"Sorry, guys. I'm just trying to work on a fandub for a little something. But I haven't heard a full version of this one, so I have to come up with the lyrics from scratch." David said as he passed plates to his Pokemon. "And then there's Bob Roth. Nothing is going to get by him in that competition he's put up."

A dramatic chord was then heard as they looked to Toxtricity who played it.

"Yeah. I'm in a bit of a bind. If I perform a cover song like we normally do, it will trace back to the original artist and he'll be put out of the music business indefinitely for fraud and false advertising. But if I submit it now, I may risk it getting plagiarized by XY." David sighed. "The one time I'm hoping that Hawk Moth akumatizes someone, and that's saying something."

"Uh...yeah. That may be more true than you think." Zacian said rushing in. "It's Luka. He's been akumatized."

"Oh boy. Knew it was going to be him sooner or later. Guess he's pretty miffed that Bob Roth copied his work." David said. "Actually, that may be the opportunity I need." he said as he got his phone out and made a call. "Hello. Is this Bob Roth?"

"Yes, what is it? I'm not in a good position right now." Bob said.

"I'm offering to help you with your little...problem. But on one condition." David said."After we contain the situation, my band and I perform our new song...live."

"What are you... " Bob said as a blast was heard. "Fine, fine! You want it, it's yours!"

"Thank you for your cooperation. We'll be there in 2 minutes." David said as he hung up. "Leops, get the crew together. Battle stations!"

Luka had been transformed by Hawk Moth into Silencer, a mute villain with the power to steal other peoples voices and take them for himself. And he was stealing as many voices as possible to get vengeance against Bob Roth.

"Once I find you, Bob Roth… I will force you to admit the truth. Justice will be dealt." Silencer spoke through the voice of XY. "Where are you hiding in this studio?"

"Unfortunately, you won't be seeing him today." a voice called out as the heroes stood there.

"Ah...look who appears. I wouldn't mind having your voices too." Silencer said.

"Luka, please. I know you're better than this. Just calm down and we can work this out." David said.

"There is no Luka. Only Silencer. And I will not let that jerk get away with threatening Marinette like that." Silencer said.

"I understand how you feel, really I do. To tell you the truth, we don't want to be associated with that lowlife Bob Roth either, but we really need you to think this through." David said.

"I've thought it through enough." Silencer said speaking with Roger's voice this time. "With this power, I'll force Bob to admit what he did to Marinette and Kitty Section live on TV. But first, seeing as though you're in my way…" Roger's, Ladybug's, Mayor Bourgeois' and XY's voice spoke all at once through both his hands. "I'm going to get rid of all of you!" Silencer then charged.

"Fine then. I really don't want to fight you, but you forced our hands. Don't take it personally." David said.

Silencer then fought David hand to hand, the possessed rocker tried to get the advantage to take David's voice.

"I didn't want it to come to this either David, but you're in my way. If I have to go through you, then so be it!" Silencer said.

"Slight problem with that." David said.

"Come, Caesar!" Scott said. "Ziodyne!"

A blast of lighting hit Silencer hard, knocking him back.

"No...my tech." Silencer said as his voice was garbled from the lightning.

"Now's our chance. Let's get him!" Yoko said.

"Go for his helmet!" Kaede said. "Here come the buffs! Melody's Charge!" she said playing a few notes that increased the band's speed.

"I won't let you… take the power I have to change things." Silencer managed to say, putting up his dukes.

"Apologies, but I think it's time you cool off for a while. Black Aura Blast!" Leopardmon said. firing a blast at Silencer.

"No!" Silencer yelled as his helmet was destroyed, freeing all of the voices he collected.

"Luka!" David said, running up to him. "Are you okay? We didn't bang you up too bad, did we?"

"Ugh...I'm okay David. Can't believe I gave in to Hawk Moth as he took advantage of my anger for what happened. Hope I didn't cause too much trouble." Luka said.

"Nah, it was nothing. We understand why you went through all of that, though." Craniamon said.

"If I ever get a chance one day...I promise to pay you back." Luka said.

"Thanks, I appreciate it. Now then…" David said, turning to Bob Roth. "About our deal..."

"Deal? Ha! You gotta be kidding. You only threatened me like that because you were afraid I'd steal your new song like all the others." Bob Roth said.

"Did you get all of that, Leops?" David asked.

"Yes, I did. Loud and clear." Leopardmon said.

"Busted!" Amethyst declared.

"Wait...what?" Bob asked.

"While David was fighting Silencer, we bugged the entire place with recording equipment and what you just said just went out live to all of Paris." Jiro said.

"So unless you wanna live the rest of your life with your reputation in shambles among Paris, you'll give Kitty Section and Crystal Vanguard the chance to perform live on TV." Hope said. "So what's it gonna be?"

A while later….

"And now, please welcome a fast rising band in their own right across the universe!" Alec Cataldi, leading TV personality, said. "Performing a brand new song orchestrated by David Ishihara himself… please welcome Crystal Vanguard!"

"Wow...he's topping the charts. Though, that's pretty normal for him." Tails said.

"I admit, I was a little nervous about that one. I had to make the lyrics from scratch." David said.

"Well they were pretty awesome I'd say!" Kagura said.

"I'd say one day, David, your band's gonna be famous around the multiverse before you know it." Hope said.

"Same. It's gonna be pretty exciting to see where this takes you." Jexi said.

"But now that I got my piece in, you guys are up." David said.

"Sure. Oh...uh...Luka. Did you really mean what you said while you were Silencer?" Marinette asked.

"Sorry, not sure what I said. What was it?" Luka asked.

"Uh...nevermind." Marinette said.
