In the hallway, Lloyd, who was straightening his shoulder from Cole tripping him, looks around for Gewuji before hearing noises by the throne room. "Gewuji?" He asked as he went in.
"What were you thinking, Harumi?" The Emperor's voice of reprimanding Harumi was heard as Lloyd immediately hides behind a pillar and slightly peeks to look on.
"You are a member of the Royal Family of Ninjago." The Empress said.
"You can't just go gallivanting off with a Ninja whenever you want. Especially since he is dating someone already. It's undignified."
"Not to mention dangerous." Harumi moves forward.
"But he's not just a Ninja-" She was soon cut off.
"You are royalty!" The Emperor harshly cuts her off as Lloyd soon frowned. "He is not, and has a love of his own."
"I'm sorry. I have dishonoured our name and our house."
"No, Harumi." The Emperor places a hand on her shoulder. "We're sorry. We all have a role to play. And yours is in this palace. Your heart mustn't interfere." Harumi soon took off, upset, as her adoptive parents sadly watch her leave.
Harumi notices Lloyd and gasped before quickly taking off. "Rumi..." He silently said.
"Hey!" Someone called out as Lloyd soon felt himself grabbed and saw it was the two rude guards before they start to drag him out.
In the hallway, the guards move Lloyd forward before Hutchins comes up to them. "Guards, I'll personally see to it." He said as the guards let go of Lloyd and walk away as he soon started to rub his right arm. "If you know what's good for you, stay away from her. Just stay being with the Glass Ninja." Hutchins then walked away as Gewuji passes by and came up to Lloyd.
"What happened?" She asked, having calmed down from being ignored by the others.
"I can be myself, but not everyone can be so lucky." He replied. "What about you? Are you okay?"
"I am." She looks away briefly before turning back. "And I've been thinking. Lloyd, I'm fine with you hanging around Harumi."
"What do you mean? Besides, it wasn't a date and I'm your boyfriend."
She raised a hand to make him stop talking. "No. I think... I made a mistake when I started dating you. It's probably because I'm too young for a real relationship."
"Are you breaking up with me?"
Gewuji then sighed. "I'm sorry, Lloyd. But I think it's best if we're just friends."
"Maybe you're right. Just friends." They soon hug before Gewuji walked away. Her now ex-boyfriend was unaware that she was silenty crying from breaking up with him.
In Ninjago City, just outside a small condemned movie theatre, two Sons of Garmadon members come up to the entrance where Ashton's brother was. He had his arms folded and was leaning close to the door, obviously very bored that he was stuck with guard duty. "Barry, is she in there?" One of them asked. He was wearing a helmet with the visor up.
"If she wasn't, I wouldn't be standing here." He sarcastically replied before he opened the door and they both head in.
Inside the theatre, someone was watching a movie, and laughed very loudly as the two members peek their heads in to see the one laughing was a woman, with not much hair, done up in a ponytail, looking pale skinned almost to the point of grey with pointed ears, and wearing a purple bandana around her neck and earrings. "Hey, is that her?" The mohawked member asked, whispering, as they walk down the ramp.
"Who else could it be?" The helmet member asked, whispering.
"I hear she's crazy."
"Don't ever let her hear you say that. If she hears you call her crazy, she'll go crazy."
"Then stop saying it." The woman shushes them. "I heard she jumped out of a 10-story building just cause she didn't want to take the stairs."
"I heard she dragged a guy on a bike for two miles just 'cause he was looking at it the wrong way." The mohawked member was shocked at that rumour.
"If you two don't be quiet, I have ways of shutting you up!" The woman called out, holding up a sai.
"Uh, sorry, Miss Violet, but Mr. E and Scars requested to get you."
"Yeah, yeah." The mohawked member said. "Something big's going down."
"Oh, is there going to be a fight?" The woman asked.
"Oh, yeah, Miss Violet." The helmet member replied. "Maybe an explosion or two."
"It's not Miss Violet." She immediately turned to them to show she had face paint on as well as purple eyeshadow and purple lips. "It's Ultra Violet!" She soon started laughing, crazily and twitches her left eye.
By the archway entrance of the Royal Palace, it was almost dusk as Kai, with his hood on, walks along it. "Hey, stop right there!" Someone called out, causing him to stop, and turn to the entrance to see the two rude guards, holding their partisans at the mailman, who was holding some envelopes.
"Hey, hey!" The mailman spoke as he had his hands in the air. "I'm just trying to deliver mail!"
"It's okay, guys." Kai called out to them. "I know him. Sorry, nobody goes into the palace. I can deliver it to them."
"Uh, thanks." The guard on the right swipes the letters. "See you next season."
"Season?"
"You know. Fall, spring, summer. Whatever." He immediately took off as the guards look up at Kai, who shrugs.
Further away from the Royal Palace, some Sons of Garmadon bikers were waiting, obviously pretty bored as a couple of them were playing thumb war, one was tuning his motorbike, and a familiar man, with a bowlcut, was smoking a cigarette while sitting on his bike. The young man in question was the same scarred man that spotted Clouse in Stiix when he tried to find the Teapot of Tyrahn. He was wearing a very old leather jacket with many coloured patches sewn onto it, light blue and pink t-shirt, brown chinos and black biker boots. As he took another puff of his cigarette, Ultra Violet, Barry, and the two members arrive on their bikes, and stop close to him. "You're late." The scarred man said, standing up and throws his cigarette away.
"Are we ready?" Ultra Violet asked, not bothering to explain her lateness.
"We are. But first things first." He nods to a nearby member, who holds a tray of shot glasses, filled with alcohol, and hands them out to the members, except for their biker with the red visor helmet.
"Why do we have to do this?"
"It's tradition, Ultra Violet." The scarred man and Ultra Violet also take a shot glass each before they all raise them high. "To our brother, who fell a few days earlier. May his sacrifice be honoured." They lowered the shot glasses and chug the alcohol inside them. After a few seconds, they throw the shot glasses away, which shatter upon hitting the ground, get on their bikes, put their helmets on, and start them. "For our fallen brother, let's ride!" Ultra Violet started ululating as they soon took off, turning left onto the road, causing some cars to swerve and toot their horns.
In the gardens at the Royal Palace, Gewuji was by a rock, silently sobbing from breaking up with Lloyd as she leaned on it while Hutchins secretly passed by, unnoticed by her. "Gewuji?" Cole's voice made her look up to see him coming up to her.
She immediately looked away. "Go away, Cole." She replied. Cole just sits down on a nearby rock. "Cole, I said, go away."
"Gewuji, please. Tell me something." She doesn't reply and just silently sobbed before he realises something. "You two broke up, didn't you?"
Gewuji sniffs. "Yes." She tries her best to wipe away her tears. "And its thanks to you all, giving him 'advice.'"
"Gewuji, we didn't mean to. It was sort of surprising for us to hear Lloyd went on a date- Uh, I mean, hang out with a member of the Royal Family. We sort of made jokes, which probably were never funny at all."
"Some jokes you guys made." She sarcastically spoke. "But, I think it is for the best that Lloyd hung out with someone sort of his age. I'm only 5 years younger than most of you, not even a legal adult yet."
"Gewuji." Cole puts a hand on her shoulder. "Age is just a number. He will realise his true feelings and come back to you. Nya was kind of like that. When she and Jay first broke up after I kissed her, Nya had to choose between him and me. She chose me. But, it only lasted 5 months. Why? Because deep down, she was still in love with Jay. Lloyd will feel the same thing, and may even still have feelings for you." Gewuji soon chuckled a bit. "What?"
"You sound like a jerk, inadvertently breaking relationships, and then you sound a bit like a therapist, wanting to fix them." They both laugh a little before they slowly look at each other until Gewuji slowly placed a hand on Cole's as it was still on her shoulder before they slowly start to come close to each other, about to move their lips together, only for a sound going off heard close by, making them both back away and get up to see Hutchins to heading a nearby rock. "Now, what is he up to?"
"Let's find out." Cole and Gewuji put their hoods on and they start moving from rock to rock as Hutchins looked at his surroundings until he pressed a small button hidden in the rock, and it opens, revealing a stairwell.
"A secret passageway."
"Kai's gonna be pissed." Hutchins turns at the sound of Cole's voice, but doesn't see anything before heading down the stairs. Cole and Gewuji come up to the stairwell before they both go down them.
The stairs lead to an underground tunnel as they both start moving along to try and follow Hutchins, but stop when they reach a fork in the tunnel. "Which way did he go?"
"Maybe that way." Cole points to a tunnel that was glowing green for some reason and head down it.
They head down the tunnel before stopping to turn around, but turn back, removing their hoods to see vials, filled with something glowing, hanging from the ceiling, and they were bubbling. "Blast Sap."
Cole immediately touched his communicator. "Guys, we've got a big problem."
Inside the Royal Palace, Lloyd and Geoff, both with their hoods on, were patrolling the hallway until their communicators went off. "Blast Sap-" Gewuji's voice was barely hearable due to static. "There's Blast Sap-"
"We saw a-" Cole's voice was also nearly hearable because of the static.
They quickly lower the lower part of their hoods. "Cole, Gewuji, you're not coming in." Geoff said into his communicator.
"You both have bad signals." Lloyd said into his communicator.
Back underground, Cole and Gewuji see the Blast Sap vials were bubbling even more, turn back, and start running back for the stairwell. "We gotta get everyone out of here!" Cole said into his communicator.
Inside, Jay and Maggie, both with hoods on, hear them from the buffet table. "The whole place is rigged to explode." Gewuji said through their communicators.
By the entrance, Kai and Nya, both also with hoods on, listen to them.
"It was Hutchins." Cole spoke through their communicators.
"We have to get the Royal Family out of here!" Kai said to Nya as they start to run up the stairs. But once they reach the top, the Blast Sap in the tunnel goes off, creating an explosion, which knocks them both back. Some of the Royal Guards run over to the entrance, only for the front gates to explode, knocking them all into the air.
