It took almost 15 minutes to drive the short ride from the sheriff station to his house, and once he arrived he hesitated to get out of the car and into the house, what if by some odd chance that this wasn't their Bella? Wouldn't it be better for him to just drive to the house this doctor Cullen and his family stayed in alone to check before telling Renée about Bella being found? No Renée would wanna be there and she at least deserved to know, she had been so distracted and distant since Bella went missing, he couldn't blame her after all he had buried himself in work to avoid thinking of his missing daughter and the empty feeling in the house even with Renée there. He had just decided to go tell Renée when he noticed her moving towards the car with small, hesitant steps; He stepped out of the car but didn't move towards her, instead he lifted his gaze to meet hers, those sad and empty eyes was hard for him to watch but he kept staring into them, and when she came close enough that he was sure she could hear him he said: "Someone thinks they've spotted her, just outside of town", Renée slowed her speed to a halt.

"Think or have?" Renée asked her husband with a voice on the edge of tears

"They came upon a young girl, unresponsive…", Charlie had to sink a lump forming in his throat thinking of this, "unresponsive in the woods and brought her home to warm up, apparently the father is a doctor and he said that upon wakening the girl told her name was Bella and that her father was town sheriff in Forks, they then called the sheriff department searching for someone to come pick her up" Charlie explained in a rush, by the time he had finished Renée couldn't hold back her tears any longer

"She is alive" she cried out while running to hug Charlie.

"She is", he said, holding her tight. "Now how about we go get our daughter back?" He asked her half jokingly half relieved it was finally going to be over

Jasper, Alice and Bella were playing in the living room when Carlisle came to give the news, Alice of course already knew what he was going to say and when the Swan's were going to arrive. "Jasper, Bella's parents are on the way" Carlisle cut to the case, no reason to pull this out longer than needed, Bella immediately stopped the game to listen.

"Mommy and daddy are coming?" Bella asked innocently and then her eyes became watery and she sniffled lightly; "But I'm not done playing" she started to cry

"Shh Princess, it's gonna be okay" Jasper said while picking Bella up to comfort her, then he turned to Carlisle and asked: "How long?" He wasn't ready to say goodbye yet either but he knew better than to take her and run, he couldn't provide for her and he was dangerous, better for this to end now.

"45 minutes, maybe a little less" Alice told, suddenly being overtaken by a glimpse of a vision she looked at Jasper worried but didn't say anything.

"See princess we still have 45 minutes to play" Jasper said while radiating a sense of optimism for Bella

"Can we play sneak attack?" Bella asked optimistically, clearly in a more cheery mood than before.

"Of course my lady" Jasper laughed while bowing and letting Bella down in the same motion. Alice was still worried about her vision of Jasper on the run with Bella, but it had only been a glimpse and now she just saw Bella being happy with her family when she looked again.

Coming out of the car, in front of the large house in the middle of the woods and far away from anything and anyone, they could hear Bella's laughter and just looked at each other relieved, that was the laughter of their baby girl they were hearing, she was really okay. Charlie and Renée walk up towards the front door, which was opened by a very handsome man and his wife before they even reached it to knock; "Charlie I presume" Carlisle said while looking at the man in front of him, making a gesture to invite both visitors in. "This is my wife Esme", Carlisle continued while they moved through the door, "and you must be the lovely wife" he said, Renée giving a shy smile and both her and Charlie shaking Esme and Carlisle's hands.

They all turned to the voice of a young girl yelling "Sneak attack" and then laughing when the young man she was sneak attacking caught her and started tickling her until she surrendered. Charlie and Renée smiled and moved towards the room from which the sound seemed to come, Carlisle and Esme followed not far behind. Once they reached the room they found Bella on the floor crying with laughter and Jasper standing with one arm held towards her to help her up, Alice had retrieved to sit down on the sofa watching them play. Renée and Charlie smiled at the picture in front of them, Bella noticed them while Jasper was helping her up, and if it hadn't been for Jasper's quick reflexes, she probably would have fallen from her excitement to get to them. "Can I please play with Jasper a little longer?" Bella asked with wide innocent eyes while looking straight at her parents, her parents smiled at her and nodded

"Only if it's okay with Mr. Jasper", her mum said while looking at the young man her daughter seemed quite fond of for the moment, Jasper smiled back at her

"It would be an honor to entertain this young one a little longer" he answered, giving a polite bow and turning to Bella with a smile and asking: "So what are we playing now?"

"Sneak attack" Bella yelled and ran straight into Jaspers arms, Jasper picked her up and started tickling her and the game continued. Renée and Charlie looked at each other smiling, then at Carlisle and Esme who smiled and gestured for them to follow into the dinning room where they all four sat down at the table.

"Is she really going to be okay?" Renée asked, sending an anxious glance towards the living room where they could hear Bella and Jasper playing, then they heard Alice partake in the game as well and Renée relaxed a little bit.

"So far I haven't found anything that would indicate otherwise, but you are welcome to take her to your regular practitioner if you wanna be safe" Carlisle said with a polite and friendly smile

"Where did you find her?" Charlie asked, putting an arm around his wife for comfort and looking at Carlisle.

"Well we aren't quite sure. The kids were the ones who came upon her somewhere in the woods, we weren't here but they called us after returning home with her, said she was cold as ice" Carlisle started to explain but stopped as Renée started to pale and her breathing getting faster and more shallow, he knew she was having a panic attack and waited for her to recover before continuing: "By the time we came it had already been a couple of hours and she had warmed up but was still fast asleep, it took awhile before she awoke but nothing to indicate anything besides exhaustion so we let her sleep. When she woke we found out her name and who to call and that's when we called you", he looked to Charlie, "ever since she's just been playing with our kids Jasper and Alice" he said gesturing to the room where Jasper, Alice and Bella was playing happily.

"Thank you for everything" Charlie said grateful, he still couldn't believe that his baby girl was really going to be okay and that she was alive, how lucky he was that these Alice and Jasper had been out in the woods when they were.

After having talked for about an hour and a half Charlie and Renée decided it was time to get going, just then Alice came to tell that Bella had fallen asleep exhausted from all the playing around. Jasper carried Bella to the car and promised Mr. and Mrs. Swan to come by their house to say goodbye to Bella before they left Forks, then the Swan family drove home.

A/N: Answering reviews

To lazygirl89: Thank you for your review and to answer your question yes I believe this to be the last chapter, which is why I marked it as complete, I do have an idea for a sequel but am at the moment focusing on finishing the stories I have already started, so it might be a while. Writing this story I originally had a different ending in mind, but I was somehow happy with this story ending because it opened up the possibility of a sequel
