Note: I want to apologize in advance. Life has been quite hectic and I've been busy with school a lot lately. But I finally managed to finish the first part of episode 3! I hope you will enjoy it :)
Total Drama Exiled episode 03: Paintbrawl? part 1.
Morning has begun on Boney Island. The first night sleeping outdoors on the island has past for the campers. Most of them are still asleep, if they managed to fall asleep in the first place that is due to the hard conditions. There are no cabins or soft beds this season. And only the past contestants of Pahkitew Island are really used sleeping outdoors. But unlike Pahkitew Island or camp Wawanakwa, Boney Island is a lot quitter in the morning. And a lot grimier. With almost no birds cheeping and the foggy atmosphere it's sure the most dreadful island of them all.
Brick is one of the few contestants who's already awake. Like every morning, he is doing his morning routine runs. Not only because he's used to do so a military school or just to stay in shape, but also to know his way around the island. Even know he can't enjoy his morning run like he normally does. Sleeping in the wild and in a cave last night caused him to have backpain. Well that, and he has a lot of things inside his mind he can't get rid off while jogging.
Shawn.. the cadet thought while he was running next to the shoreline of the island. He still hasn't forgotten the argument he had with the zombie freak last night. Especially when he claimed that he himself left the team in the first place. Because that couldn't be true, right? Sure he left Bridgette and Shawn alone in the woods. But he had no other choice? Ella was hurt. And there was no way she could reach camp on her own. He had to separate from them. Right?
Without realizing Brick tripped over something and on the ground. He hits his head on the ground and rubs it in pain. When he looks at the object he fell over from he identified it as a dumbbell. That's weird he thinks, what's a random dumbbell doing on the beach? Sure it hasn't washed up on the shore.
"Next time look where you're going moron." He hears an unidentified female voice saying.
When he looks up he raises his head knowingly. That's why there's a dumbbell here in the first place. The mysterious voice came from Eva, who is doing pull ups on a tree a few feet further.
Brick stands up, dust some sand of his shirt, and walks over towards the female jock. "Good morning!" he greets her. "Soo.. I guess you're also an early bird too?" The cadet says with a smile.
Eva doesn't say a word and continues with her pull ups. Not making any eye contact with the cadet.
Brick rubs the back of his neck awkwardly. He's not sure why the girl doesn't respond. Then the soldier focused on the pull ups the jockette is doing. "Wow I'm impressed! I've never seen a girl doing pull ups with such a precision, so fast!" He says, admiring her pull ups and starting up the conversation.
Eva turns towards Brick and narrows her eyes at him. "What's – That – Supposed – To – Mean – Meathead?" She asks in an aggressive tone, still doing her pull ups.
"No nothing! It's not what you think!" Brick quickly defends, trying to recover his words earlier. "I'm just impressed. Because at military school, most girls have a tougher time.."
In the meantime Eva stopped with her pull ups and let go of the tree, landing firmly on the ground with her two feet. She marches towards Brick with an angry expression on her face.
Brick noticed this and swallows. "I ehh.. I respect women ma'am. " Brick says awkwardly before laughing sheepishly. Eva looks angry in the military guys' eyes. Brick crouches together and closes his eyes, ready to be hit by the buffed women.
But instead, Eva crosses her arms and blows in dismissal. "Pff, whatever."
Brick opens up his eyes and stands straight. He didn't expect that. He was sure he would be hit. He watches Eva walking over towards the dumbbells, continuing her workout.
Brick rubs his back again awkwardly. He knew that he was bad with girls. But it looks like he was even worst with Eva around. Then the cadet came with an idea. "Want to join my morning run?" He asks the jockette, before realizing it might be a bad idea…
"Nope. I'm more into cardio training instead of endurance." Eva said, while using the dumbbells.
Brick secretly sighs in relief. "Well, I'm going to resume my routine. I'm Brick by the way, nice knowing you….?"
The cadet waits for a response. But just like last time, Eva doesn't respond back and is more concerned with lifting weights. It's almost like the cadet is invincible again to her.
Brick raises an eyebrow and the black haired girl, before continuing his routine.
[Confessional]
Brick sit cross armed towards the camera, looking confused. "Was it something I said? Well.. it doesn't matter. What I do know is that the girl brings big competition with her. And I like it big!" Brick says, slamming his fist in his hand palm, before looking shocked at the camera and realizing that what he said sounded wrong.

In the mess hall, Courtney is also one of the few who's already awake and sits at the far corner of her teams table. She's the only one present in the mess hall since most contestants haven't woken up, not even Chef! The future lawyer is holding a cup of coffee in one hand and a pen in the other, doing the thing she does every morning after waking up. Writing a list. Normally she writes down how her day will be and what she needs to do in chronological order. But this time she decided to rank the members of her team instead.
Courtney takes another sip of her coffee and lets out a sigh. She takes another look at her list. Scott she had written on the far bottom of the list. After their breakoff in All Stars she wants to eliminate him as soon as possible. Followed by Topher, who she thinks is useless from what she had seen this far. Followed by Izzy, who is unreliable due to her craziness. Dawn comes in number 4. She's nice but sometimes a bit creepy. Followed by Sammy, who is also nice, not creepy, but a pushover. Surprisingly, she has ranked Eva number 2. Sure the girl has anger issues, but looking at the rest of the team, her brute power is something they desperately need. And on the top of the list stands Jasmine. Jasmine is probably the most value player on their team, well, after herself of course. Even know sometimes the former CIT thinks that the tall Australian steps out of line and commands the team to much. After all, it was she herself who was assigned team captain, not the tall Australian girl.
Courtney places both her hands on her forehead, thinking. There's only one person left she hasn't written down yet. Duncan.. The former CIT is still not sure what to think about him. She knows that he can be bad trouble, but she also knows that the delinquent has a soft side which is one of the things she loved about him when they were together. But does she still loves him? No, she thought. She's so much better off without him. But does she want him out early like Scott, or keep him in the game? She can't deny that Duncan is a strong player and knows how to play the game… there are just so much variables to consider...
Duncan enters the mess hall, letting out a big yawn. He scratches his back and turns on the light switch. He looks around and watched surprised at his former girlfriend sitting alone at the corner of the table. The delinquent thought he was the first one entering the main lodge, but apparently he was wrong! He smirks and walks over towards his ex-girlfriend. "Good morning princes. And what's the reason why you're sitting here all alone in the dark if I may ask?"
Courtney looks startled at the delinquent. She was to much busy with daydreaming that she didn't saw him walking up to her, or the lights turning on.
"Mind if I join you?" Duncan asked, smirking at his ex-girlfriend.
Without a chance for her to answer, Duncan immediately sits down next to her, causing Courtney to glare at him. He noticed the list in front of the brunette and throws a quick look at it. "What are you doing. Taking inventory of the team?" He asks, raising an eyebrow.
In a reflex Courtney quickly grabs the list, stopping the delinquent from reading it. Unfortunately for her, she knocks over the mug with her elbow in the progress, spilling coffee all over her list, and the table. "Crap!" Courtney shouts, racing to the counter to grab a napkin.
Duncan chuckles. "Didn't know it was supposed to be a secret."
Courtney runs back with a napkin and tries to save the in coffee soaked list, holding it in the air with her fingers, but let's go immediately with a painful expression on her face. Due to the spilled coffee, the piece of paper has become hot, resulting in Courtney burning her fingers.
"Watch out princes, you don't want to burn your tentacles on a dumb piece of paper." Duncan responses, seeing her blowing on her fingers to cool them down.
Courtney growls and frowns at Duncan. "What do you want Duncan? Since when are you awake so early anyway?" She asks, looking at her burned fingers instead of him.
"What?" Duncan replies. "Is it illegal to enjoy a fine morning with my fine ex-girlfriend? And besides, I'm awake because back in prison we were woken up every day at 7 am sharp. I kind of got used to it." The delinquent replies, raising his shoulders. "But I am curious though, what's with the list?"
"That's none of your business?" Courtney replies. She notices Duncan trying again to look at the coffee soaked list. Now that the piece of paper has cooled down, the future lawyer quickly yanks it away from him, and crams it in her left back pocket.
Duncan inhales deeply through his nose and crosses his arms. "Whatever, I wasn't interested in it anyway. But if I'm not mistaken, didn't a dumb list cost you the game last season sweetheart? Haven't you learned from your mistakes? "
"Don't call me sweetheart! And it's never a mistake to make a list." She replies, wiping soaking up the spilled coffee on the table with a napkin. "Making a list helps you to prepare and gives you a clear overview what you want to reach, and how to achieve it." Courtney continues while walking toward the trashcan, throwing away the soaked napkin. "Maybe you should try making one. It might prevent you from doing stupid things and ending up in jail for a change." The brunette replies before leaving the mess hall. Duncan frowns at her on her way out.
[Confessional]
Duncan hits the rock wall behind him in anger. "Urgh! Does she really think that by not making a list I ended up in prison last time!? Whatever! I don't need a list, and I most certainly don't need her! What I need it that 1 million dollar!"
[End confessional]
Even know the island is surrounded by quietness, deep inside the jungle can be heard the sound of giggling. Shawn and Jasmine are both sitting on a blanked surrounded by trees, laughing and chatting. They agreed to meet together in the early morning to enjoy each other's company. After Pahkitew Island the two of them are still dating and have spent the summer together backpacking in Australia. Unfortunately for them now they're back on the show, they are placed on different teams, yet again. This won't affect their relationship in any way, but they're not stupid. They know that if they are seen together by the others while being on different teams they'll get suspicion. Probably accusing them for traitors. That's why they promised each other to meet every morning together inside the jungle, when everyone's still asleep.
Jasmines snorts from her laughing an pushes Shawn in the shoulder. "Shawn stop. I'm almost getting a heart attack."
Shawn also laughs while he rubs his shoulder in pain. "Alright, Alright. But you have to admit. The slob that Chef calls food is inhumane." Shawn grabs a handful of berries they scavenged together earlier and throws them inside his mouth. "How's your team by the way?" Shawn asks after digesting the berries and changing the conversation.
Jasmine out her thumb underneath her chin and starts to think. "Hmm.. there are a lot of great competitors in our team. Especially physically. But there's also some tension. Especially with Courtney as our team captain." Jasmine crossed her arms and frowns.
"Well, Samey's on your team. That's nice right?" Shawn asks, trying to make Jasmine feel better.
Jasmine starts rubbing her back. "I guess so. I just wished she was a bit more.. independent."
"Independent?" Shawn looks confused at his girlfriend. He always thought that Sammy and her were best friends.
"Yes independent." Jasmine sighs. "Not to talk bad or anything, Sammy is probably my best friend and my only friend on the island. But it's like she follows me everywhere. And I mean everywhere! Yesterday, Dawn asked me to go with her to return the little geese to its nest. Sammy just jumped right in, forcing to go along with us. And yesterday evening she even followed me when I had to do.. you know.. my business."
Shawn raises his finger. "Well actually, when the zombie apocalypse happens it's always better to have someone stand guard. You're very vulnerable and unobservant while doing.. your business and.. " Shawn noticed the frown that Jasmine is giving her and stops talking. "But yes, in this case it's very weird." Shawn quickly replies with a sheepishly smile, taking her side.
Jasmine sighs again. "Anyway, besides Sammy, I just hope my team will work together more as a team instead of every man for himself. Guess you're not having that problem with Brick as captain. He seems like a very collaborate team captain." She says before also eating some berries.
Shawn frowns and looks towards the ground. "Yes, but he's also very patronizing."
Jasmine looks puzzled at Shawn. "Patronizing? You're not a fan of him you mean? I did saw you guys arguing after yesterday's challenge. "
Shawn crosses his arms and sighs. "Just because he's team captain he thinks that he can command everyone around and treat us like we're his soldiers. Like we're his man. It's really irritable. Yesterday after we lost the challenge it even got worst. He accused me of leaving that blonde girl, ehhh, Bridgette behind during the challenge."
Jasmine raises an eyebrow. "Well, did you?"
"Of course not! We we're talking and somehow I lost my balance and tumbled down the hill. Which is weird because normally I'm not fast distracted? But yeah, I already disliked the dude, but I guess that was the moment when Brick really started disliking each other. Even know it's not my fault why she got chased by those beavers. She's really clumsy."
Jasmine chuckles. "Maybe her clumsiness is contagious? She starts grinning at him, indirectly referring to when he fell down the hill.
Shawn's frown disappears and a small smile appears on his face. "Who knows. She's nice and all but if her clumsiness effects another challenge, maybe it's better to eliminate her next."
"Well, let's head back to the mess hall." Jasmine suggests, standing up. "Looking at the sun it's 10am already. The others might wonder where we are."
Shawn nods and also stands up, dusting some sand off his orange jacket and rolls up the blanket. "Smart call"
Jasmine places her hand on Shawn's shoulder. "Wait. If the others see us walking both together outside the jungle at the exact same time, they'll know something is up. Why don't I go first, and you'll wait a few minutes. "
Shawn smiles at Jasmine. "Sounds like a good idea. See you soon?"
Jasmine kisses Shawn on his cheek. "Very soon I hope." She then walks away towards the camp. Shawn puts his hand on his cheek and blushes. He shakes his head to gain focus and also starts walking when suddenly, he hears someone calling out his name behind him.
Shawn startles. He did not expect anyone around. When he turns around, the voice appeared to came from Bridgette, who is running towards him. Shawn freezes. Would she have heard everything he said about her? He thought. "Like calling her clumsy? Of even worst, how he thought she could be the next one to eliminate!?"
Shawn regains himself and acts like nothing happened. "Bridgette, hi. What ehm.. what are you doing here?"
"I just head back from the beach to get some breakfast when I saw you two together." The surfer girl replies, smirking at him.
"And ehm, how much did you see and heard?" Shawn asks, concerned that she may have heard them talk about her.
"Enough to see the kiss." She smiles at him. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. Anyway.. I didn´t really had the chance to thank you yesterday. You know.. for saving my life. So.. thank you. If it weren't for you, I probably would've ended as a beaver snack. I owe my life to you!"
Shawn rubs his back in relieve. "Phew. Eh I mean you´re welcome! Any time."
Bridgette's smile turns in sadness and she looks ashamed to the ground. "And I'm also sorry for causing the conflict between you and Brick. It was never my intention to.."
"Hey, hey. It was never your fault to begin with. Brick and I already got started off on the wrong foot together. Nothing you could've done about it. "Shawn interrupts the sad looking surfer girl. Trying to make her feel better.
Bridgette looks up at the zombie specialist and smiles again. "Glad to hear."
"Well, let's head back for breakfast. If you even can call it that." Shawn replies before the two start walking towards camp. Maybe she's more useful then he first thought, Shawn thinks in himself. Guess time will tell..
[Confessional]
Bridgette sits dreamy in front of the camera. "Seeing Shawn and that tall Australian girl together like that was really cute. Reminds me a bit of me and Geoff..." She says, before her smile changes in a sulk, rubbing her upper arm.

Gwen sits underneath a tree, directly next to the passage way that is leading up towards the her teams cave. Unlike most of the contestants, she slept pretty well and woke up early to draw a sketch of the island inside her sketchbook. Back in All Stars she already had spent a night exiled on Boney Island. She's also one of the only persons who actually admires the island and thinks it's beautiful and stunning, instead of dreadful and chilling like the rest.
Trent, who walks down the passage way, notices Gwen sitting underneath a tree. He hesitates, but decided to walk over towards her anyway. They haven't really had the time to catch up with each other. Now would be the perfect time. Right?
Gwen noticed Trent walking towards her. She closes her sketchbook and looks irritated. She stands up and walks away, trying to avoid him.
"Gwen, wait!" Trent shouts while running after the goth.
The goth girl sighs and stops. She turns around, letting the musician catch up on her.
"How'd you sleep last night?" Trent asks interested.
"Fine" Gwen responses uninterested.
"Right.. ehm.. I was on my way to the mess hall for breakfast. Interested in joining me?"
"Nope." Gwen responses without thinking.
"You sure?" the musician asked disappointed. "I mean, we didn't really had time to catch up yet since.. you know..".
"100% sure." Gwen replies. Gwen turns around and walks away up the passage way towards the cave. Trent stands still and watched the goth girl disappearing, before lowering his head to the ground in sadness.
On the top of the cliff Gwen walks towards the cliff entrance. She sees Cody and DJ chattering in front of the cave's entrance. Gwen stops for a second. She's still curious what happened at the elimination ceremony yesterday. Or more specifically, who didn't vote with her and how she got 1 vote against.
A few seconds before Gwen reached the entrance of the cave, Shawn and Bridgette were also walking together just behind her, both chatting.
The two arrived at the top and stop chatting. "I'm going to check if we have enough stock." Shawn tells Bridgette before entering the cave, leaving the surfer girl and other three behind.
Gwen noticed the 4 of them are alone together and immediately takes her chance questioning them. "Okay, so who was it?" the goth girl asked out of the blue.
Cody and DJ stop chattering and all three are looking confused at the goth. "Who was what?" Cody asked confused, scratching the side of his head with his finger nervously. Did she know that it was him who watched her sleeping he thought in himself.
Gwen sighs. "Look, I'm going to ask this as direct as I can. Which one of you changed their mind in voting for Trent last nice?" Gwen crosses her arms and frowns at DJ, who she suspected.
DJ raises an eyebrow and looks at the goth with a questioned expression.
"I changed my vote." Someone's voice replied behind Gwen's back. When she turns around to see who it was she gasps.
"You?" Gwen asks unexpected.
"Yes, I decided to note vote for Trent last night." Bridgette admits, placing her hands on her hips.
"And why if I may ask?" Gwen asks, raising an eyebrow at the blonde girl.
"Because he didn't deserve to go in my opinion" Bridgette replies while crossing her arms.
Gwen stretches her arms angry next to her hips and looks furious towards Bridgette. "Oh, so you thought I deserved it instead then?"
The surfer girl takes a step back and gives a confused look. "What do you mean? I didn't vote for you?"
Gwen rolls her eyes. "I'm sure you didn't" Gwen responses sarcastically. "Urgh I should've know I couldn't trust you." She says to herself, holding her head in disbelieve.
Bridgette looks surprised at the goth girl before frowning at her. "Wait, what's that supposed to mean?"
Cody and DJ are still standing in front of the cake. looking speechless and awkwardly at the altercation between the two girl. DJ decides to break the ice and touches Cody with his elbow. "Ehm, Cody, my man. I ehh.. need your help with the.. ehh.. that thing, about the.. thing.",
"Thing? What thing? "Cody looks speechless at DJ, before DJ bumps once again his elbow in Cody's side, but this time harder. "Oh the thing! Of course! I'll help you!" Cody understood the hint and both the guys are fleeing inside the cave. Creating space for the girl to argue.
"Don't act dumb Bridgette. You always picked Trent's side over me!" Gwen continued their conversation, looking daggers at the surfer girl.
Bridgette moves her head back and looks confused. "What the hell? When did I do that?"
"Ehm Team Trent, ringing a bell?" Gwen narrow her eyes at her.
Bridgette is fuming by the reaction of the goth and clams her fists in anger. "Oh I can't believe you're bringing up the aftermath show! I always defended you and stayed friends with you Gwen. Even when you cheated on him"
Gwen gasps angrily "Cheated!? I never cheated on him!?"
"Sure you didn't. You just were just being 'overfriendly' towards Duncan" Bridgette replies while rolling her eyes.
Gwen growls at the blonde. "You should talk! Cheating on Geoff with Alejandro! At least I didn´t end up on another pole, unironically.".
Bridgette gasps
"How are you two by the way? Forgiving and forgetting anything by sucking face? Must be one heck of a relation." Gwen shouts while raising up her arms in anger.
Bridgette stops arguing and got silence. "Screw you Gwen" she says with a hurting expression, before walking angry away, down the cliff.
"Yeah, that's what I thought!" Gwen shouts back at her, going opposites ways.
[Confessional]
Gwen looks furious at the camera. "Urgh! Who does she think she is to judge me!? You're no saint either Bridgette! Don't start a fire if you can't take the heat!"
[End confessional]
Courtney arrives back on the beach at their teams camp, still thinking about her encounter with Duncan earlier. It kind of made her frustrated. Thanks to him, she couldn't finish her morning list. At least now she's sure that she wants him also early like Scott. At least she think she is?
AT the beach, Courtney noticed Sammy sitting alone on a rock disappointed, playing in the sand with her bare feet. She raises an eye brow and walks over towards the cheerleader. "Samey right?" She asked the blonde girl.
"Actually it's Sammy.." Sammy replies submissively at the brunette girl.
Courtney raises an eyebrow and looks confused at the twin. "Really? I thought I was sure I heard Chris calling you Samey."
Sammy sighs. "Long story.."
Courtney narrows her eyes in confusion. "Ehm okay… Anyway what's wrong?"
Samey looks up confused at the former CIT. "Wha- what'd you mean?"
Courtney crosses her arms and sighs. "I can see there's something bothering you. So come on. spill it out." She says in a direct tone.
Sammy starts looking down at the sand and starts moving her feet in it nervously, again. The cheerleader has never really been good with conversations and expressing her emotions. Not even with her parents.
Courtney looks at Sammy with a curious expression. "Well?" She asks, impatient for an answer back.
Samey begins to stutter. "I ehh.. I.. It's just that I can't find Jasmine anywhere.. have you seen her by any chance?" The twin looks hopeful at the CIT.
Courtney raises an eye brow at the girl again. "Wait, is that everything? I thought something bad had happened. Nope haven't seen her. Sorry." She replies in a colder tone. Sammy looks back at the sand again and continues feeling sad.
Courtney rolls her eyes at walks towards their teams hut they build yesterday evening. It's around 10 AM. Every camper has woken up, doing or finishing their morning routine. Well, almost anyone.. When Courtney returned to her bag to put back the pen she used earlier, she noticed 2 people still asleep inside the hut.
Courtney walks closer and discovers the two man still asleep are Scott and Topher. She walks closer towards Scott who's still sleeping and kneels, moving her mouth closer to his ear. "Wake up you slackers!" she yells inside his ear. Scott jumps right up startled, falling of the huts platform into the sand.
Scott rubs his finger inside his ear. "What the hell was that for!?"
Courtney looks questioned at the farm boy. "I though you lived at a farm. Aren't rednecks supposed to be up at 6 AM?"
"Ehm, 5 AM" Scott corrects her, standing up from his fall. "But do you hear here any alarm clock or Poocky? No."
"What's Poocky? Hillbilly for mother?" Courtney asked confused, but not interested.
Scott dusts off the sand of his pajama's. "Poocky is our family rooster who lives at the farm back home. And by the way, I was still in bed because I want to bed late. Finishing building this hut last night, remember?"
Courtney places her hands on her hips and growls at the dirt farmer. "We all stayed late last night to finish it. Now, get your butt up and prepare for breakfast!" She yells while holding her arms in the sky.
Courtney then walks towards Topher and pushes him out of bed, resulting in him rolling out of the hut and also in the sand.. "And that goes for you too pretty boy!" She shouts, with Topher falling on the ground, screaming. "Start contributing more or I'll personally will take care of you two going home, got it!?".
While Topher looks shocked at the CIT, Scott grins "Why don't you try."
"Oh, I will! I personally will ensure you're going next! Just you wait!" Courtney threats him before walking away.
[Confessional]
Scott grins in front of the camera. "Good luck trying to eliminate me." He then winks at the camera.

At the mess hall, most of the contestants already gathered for breakfast with one and another. At the Geese's table, most members of the team already sat at the table, eating silently the 'scrambled egges' Chef prepared for them. Duncan still sits where he sat earlier next to Courtney, at the corner of the table, eating breakfast. But instead of Courtney, it´s now Topher who´s sitting next to him. Duncan looks at the dirty blonde guy and rolls his eyes. The host wannabe is admiring himself in the reflection of a spoon while fixing his hair. Next to Duncan at his left with one seat in between sits Sammy, leaning against the table with her hand underneath her chin, playing with her food silently while looking sad. Across of her sits Courtney and Dawn. They both notice Duncan glaring at one of them from the other side of the table. Both girls think the glare is supposed for them, so they both glares back at him. And with 2 empty seats in between next to Dawn, are Eva and Scott, also quietly eating breakfast while sharing a glare at each other.
While most members of the Geese team are quit and minding their own business, at the beavers can be heard mote laughing and chatting. At the left side of the table sits Trent, DJ, B and Brick together. The guys are laughing and enjoying breakfast together.
Trent laughs and takes a sip of his orange juice. "No way man! And that all started because you tripped over het dumbbell in the first place!?" Trent replies to Brick, who was telling about his encounter earlier with Eva.
Brick chews down a bite of his scrambled eggs and laughs back. "I'm not making it up soldier. Really! I was almost scared I wouldn't make it out there alive after I said that at her."
DJ chuckles. "Maybe she placed that dumbbell there on purpose and wanted you to trip over it." DJ replies in a more serious tone, winking at the cadet.
Brick turns red and rubs the back of his neck in awkwardness. "What...? No. She didn't. Did she…? I mean she's one fierce lady but… no. She's too terrifying… Why? You think she likes me!?" Brick asks with a terrifying high-pitched voice.
DJ and B look at each other while smirking until both guys break out in laughter. Trent joins them but Brick looks at them with a blank face. "Relax! I was just playing with you." DJ replies. The cadet sighs in relief and laughs sheepishly with them. "Speaking about women, how are you holding up Trent? I can imagine you must feel heartbroken right now." DJ asks Trent, changing the topic.
Trent looks confused at DJ and then awkwardly at Gwen, who was sitting grumpy at the other side of the table, minding her own business. "Ehm.. what do you mean?" The musician asked the tough guy.
"You know, how Ella got the boot yesterday. Must suck since you two became quite close over a short period of time." DJ says while continuing with breakfast.
"Close?" Trent askes confused.
"Yeah, the song you two performed in the cave yesterday was beautiful." Brick replied, taking another bite of his scrambled eggs. "And even without any rehearsal. You two had a lot of chemistry."
"Chemistry?" The musician asked confused, again. He then turns towards B who is raising his eyebrows at the musician two times before winking at him. "Oh no, you guys have it all wrong! Sure Ella had a beautiful voice and was a pretty girl. But we were just friends. Besides, she wasn't my type. " Trent explains.
DJ looked at Gwen at the end of the tables and looks back again at Trent, smirking. "I'm sure she wasn't your type." He replies sarcastically.
Trent noticed him watching at Gwen and quickly changed the subject. "Well, what about you?"
"Me? What about me?" DJ asked in a more serious tone.
"Well, you're teasing us about women but when are you making a move with the ladies? Mr big guy."
DJ rubs his back in awkwardness and begins to stutter. "Well. I ehh.. I.."
Brick chuckles. "Yeah he's right. The women must be all over you. They love a big guy."
The other three guys look baffled at the remark the cadet just made. "NO! That's not what I meant!" The cadet turns red again while the others burst out in laughing with Gwen looking confused at them, not having witnessed their conversation.
Cody stands over at the counter, accepting a tray of breakfast from Chef. "The scrambles eggs look good today chef!"
Chef chuckles. "Why does everyone keep thinking it's scrambled eggs."
Cody looks confused at Chef and quickly walks towards his team table. He noticed the other guys of his team bursting out in laughter together. Cody looks disappointed at the ground. He would love to sit with them and laugh about guy stuff, however, he never really sees himself as a bro and probably would come over as awkward and annoying. Most of his friends back home are girls he's not interested in, or other geeks just like him. Well not like him, atleast he's the only one in his circle of friends who has games with the ladies. Or at least, that's what he believes in.
Then Cody turns towards the women of his dreams, Gwen, and sits across the table of her. Normally he would sit next to her, but he sees her sitting all grumpy by herself, writing in her diary. It's probably for the best to give her space after the fight between her and Bridgette earlier. Cody sighs, and starts breakfast.
Just after Cody sits down, Shawn enters the mess hall. "Good morning" he greets his team, quickly taking a seat with the others next to Gwen, who is glaring at him and covering up her diary. Brick's also glaring from a distance at the zombie freak.
"Wait, where's Bridgette?" Trent asked the Shawn, who's shrugging.
"We thought she went with you after the fight this morning." DJ interrupts.
"Nope, haven't seen her after this morning." The zombie weird replies.
"Wait, what fight?" Brick asked not knowing about what happened earlier since he wasn't there.
"I believe I saw her heading towards the beach." Cody mixes is.
Gwen closes her diary angry and walks out of the mess hall, irritated by the topic of conversation.
Her team looked at her confused. Just when she walks out, she collides with Jasmine who was just entering the mess hall. "Hey, watch it!" The Australian girl replied. But Gwen ignores her and storms off.
"Good morning Jasmine!" Shawn greets her, winking at her.
"Good morning Shawn! It's great to see you again. You know, since I haven't seen you after yesterday's dinner." Jasmine replies, winking awkwardly back at her boyfriend.
Jasmine walks over towards her team table. Sammy, who was sitting alone and quiet at the table, jumps up with sparkles in her eyes. "Jasmine!" She shouts in excitement. "Where were you!? I was looking all over for you!"
Jasmine sighs and looks the other way. "I bet you were. Ehm I was… exploring the island."
"Without me..?" Sammy asked disappointed.
"NO! I was ehh.. looking for you. But couldn't find you. But since you were looking for me, I guess we passed by each other. Unfortunately." Jasmine lied, smiling awkwardly at the twin.
"Eh.. I guess it makes sense?" The twin said, rubbing her shoulder in suspicion. "Anyway I saved a seat for you!"
The blonde girl gestures to the empty seat next to her. "Great.." Jasmine replies, taking her seat next to the cheerleader.
Courtney looks around the table. "Has anyone seen Izzy?" She asks. "I haven't seen her since last night."
"Probably making friends with the trees, or a coconut." Scott replies sarcastically. Eva, who's sitting next to him, chuckles silently. "Good one."
Dawn glares at Scott. "Can you please not make fun of nature or Izzy?" Dawn replies in a serious tone.
Duncan chuckles at the other side of the table. "Here we go again. Why are you always so sensitive when someone brings up the word tree? Are you married to one or something?"
Dawn glares at Duncan. But before she could say anything, Scott chuckles at interrupts. "And besides, I was not disrespecting Izzy. She's just a weirdo."
Eva sighs angrily. "Telle me about it."
"Izzy is not a weirdo!" Dawn stands up and defense her "And stop calling people that! In fact, Izzy has an intriguing and superlunary aura around her that is interesting to understand, just like me!"
"Well, that's why we find you also a weirdo." Duncan replies with a cold tone, continuing with breakfast.
"Wait, you all think I'm a weirdo...?" Dawn asked while looking around. Her teammates look at each other quietly without saying anything, except Duncan, who ignores her and resumes breakfast. Dawn hoped someone would stand up for her, but since no one did, she decides to sit down again, silently, until someone breaks the ice.
"No one is calling you a weirdo." Courtney reassures. "Well, except Duncan and Scott, but they're morons." Duncan glares at the CIT, who is not giving a response at the delinquent. "So don't listen to them."
"Courtney's right!" Jasmine interrupts, standing up. "We should focus on the game and fight the enemy. Not each other! If Izzy's missing our priority is to find her for the next challenge, whatever it is. Without her, we might lose it automatically."
Courtney glares at Jasmine, who interrupted her.
"So? It's not like that fool helps us win?" Eva replies. "She's deadweight."
"Hey! Izzy might be a bit cook cook. But she's still an asset. It's because of her we won the first challenge. Remember?" Jasmine replies, narrowing her eyes at the jockette.
"Pff, whatever." Eva replies, crossing her arms and muttering in herself.
Suddenly a loud gasp can be heard at the corner of the table from Topher. "OH NO!" The rest of the team looked at him startled. "I have coffee in my shirt." He informs. The coffee dripped off underneath the table, caused by Courtney earlier. The host wannabe tried to clean it off with his spit while the rest of the team frowns at his overreaction.
[Confessional]
Topher shrugs his shoulders. "What? International TV. If you want a job in the showbiz, you have to ensure you always look at your best." Topher then winks at the camera.
[End confessional]
The rustle of a loudspeaker can be heard on the background. "Attention campers! Meet me at the heart of the forest in an hour. And be ready to Dye! Hehehe." Chris announced, ending with a mean laughter.
"Die!?" Sammy startles up. "I don't want to die!"
The rustle of a loudspeaker can be heard once again. "Dye! Not die, but.. oh forget it, just meet me in a hour, okay? Over and out."
