Imagine, being reluctantly allowed to go to your best friends house because his father decided to reward him with 30 minutes of his friend being there.
Of course, Nino was stocked, it was really rare that he even gets close to Adrien house, he was well aware that his dad didn't like him.
The man didn't like people who were not rich near his son.
Well, this time would be different, he had an amazing Uncle behind him who had been showering him and his family with trips like going to Tokyo for a shopping trip and having celebrities come to visit them.
So Nino called some in some servants to help him actually look like he had money, they busted out the expensive clothes and opened that jewellery like the expensive limited edition rings that they placed on his fingers.
An hour later, he saw himself in the mirror and couldn't believe it, the person before him was flashy, bright, expensive items we're everywhere.
He couldn't believe this was him, if he walked down the street with this, he would probably cause car crashes and be robbed within minutes.
Thank goodness, it was just Adrien house.
He couldn't wait to see Gabriel Agreste face especially when he meets his bodyguards.
Nino made sure his wallet was full and then headed out, he was about to take the usual car when he turned and went for the limousine instead.
A limousine was far more of a statement.
They drove to Adrien house, previously he was always filled with awe whenever he saw those gates and that mansion.
He was always filled with awe at the mere thought of Adrien room but now his room was bigger than his and a whole lot more fun because his mom wasn't a killjoy.
They came to the gates and stopped, the house sensory alerted Gabriel Agreste inside.
The driver opened the door for him and he pressed the call button and soon heard.
"Yes?" Said Gabriel. "Who are you?"
He said. "Do I really look that different Du-I mean, sir?"
There was a long silence as the man was clearly stunned.
Nino may not have an amazingly strong presence in a room, but his pubescent voice was memorable.
Clearly, the man recognised his voice but couldn't believe it.
"Come in," said the man after a while.
The gate opened and he got back into his limousine, the limousine got in and to the man surprise, another car followed afterwards.
Nino got out and so did four buff man in suits from the other car.
He began walking and the men surrounded him, when he got into the house, the only person not shocked by the existence of the bodyguards we're Adrien and his bodyguard because they had met them when they went to London.
But all of them can agree that Nino looked like he slept on a bed of precious materials.
Seeing the expensive everything, something major had clearly happened to the child.
Was the song paycheck really that good?
"Uh, hi. Adrien Dad" he said. "I hope you don't mind but my bodyguards kind of followed me here. They do that whenever I'm going to a place they had never been to before."
Gabriel said. "As long as they don't break anything"
And then the man noticed his watch and his face changed as he said. "Is that the Future Watch version 2, V.I.P edition?"
"Oh, yeah," said Nino, seeing the man had one too. "My Uncle gifted it to me within the first 3 months. All I had to do was pay postage and packing for this one but it was reasonable"
Reasonable?
It was 8 grand in total just to ship it out because the extra security placed on it.
A lot of people would love to get their hands on the next-gen, especially one that said VIP edition.
Nathalie was clearly looking at him closely, as she had only got one, due to it being expected of her, after all, her boss had one.
Her boss had paid for her version 2 watch, because 8 grand on post and packing was ridiculous, even though she made 50 grand a year.
He was talking about 8 grand like it was nothing.
Adrien butted in, not wanting his time with best friend to be consumed.
His father gave him the rare blessing and both boys went up the steps to his room and bodyguards trailed behind them.
"Nathalie," said Gabriel.
"I am already on it sir," she said, before she discovered his social media account and was stunned, then she showed her boss who looked too.
Both of them were stunned together at Nino revamp of his page, a professional photo of himself was his profile picture and his posts had stopped being about getting ready for a gig, his girlfriend and his classmates.
And now the main theme seems to be what his Uncle was gifting him next.
Pictures of a private plane as his family headed to Tokyo to shop for the day, a world-famous chef coming to cook one meal for them, the Jonas Brother coming to pop by, reservations at a world-famous restaurant, staying in his Uncle house in Malibu at the weekend and many more.
Nino Lahiffe was being spoiled rotten by his Uncle.
No wonder, he didn't bat an eye at the thought of 8 grand, his pocket money from his Uncle must be a normal person yearly paycheck.
Who was his Uncle to have the money to shower his nephew with nothing but the best?
"Nathalie," he said. "I want a file on his Uncle by the end of this week. I want to know who he is, why he wasn't mentioned besides when you researched the Lahiffe family before. I want to know about his occupation and his personality. If he has been to Paris before, I want to know about it"
"Done, sir" said Nathalie.
Suddenly the Ai within the two watches became lively, hearing the clearly illegal information gathering going on.
Strike one.
The Ai that was connected to every digital thing Gabriel had, went through Gabriel computer folders and emails and found evidence of Gabriel collecting in-depth data on everybody his son came in contact with, including the family history of that same person, including Nino own mother.
The man had Nino's dad's death reports from Africa.
This was illegal.
Strike 2.
The AI needed another strike.
Gabriel made the mistake of going to look through his Miraculous book with his watch on afterwards.
He didn't think much of it but this was a huge mistake on his part.
The AI scanned the book while the opened book covered the scan, it translated it from Chinese, it began researching the book and finding out that this book belonged to a Chinese temple that mysteriously disappeared but there was no record of Gabriel Agreste purchasing it, which meant he either found it, somebody either gave it to him as a present or he had stolen it.
Either way, this book was the genuine article, it was an important piece of Chinese history that belonged in the countries national museum, the AI had read Gabriel history and the man knew full well how important this book was from his internet searches and yet, he hid it in a secret patch of wall.
The man wasn't even planning on selling it back to China or someone else.
The Chinese government would definitely have words if they knew what he was hiding.
Strike 3.
A file was created with his name on it, in the AI database.
The AI now had clear evidence that it needed to do far more than this, it took over the Gabriel Agreste mansion's computer system.
With the file, came true extensive research and seeing if Gabriel Agreste could possibly be linked to any crimes recently.
And that was Gabriel Agreste sole weakness when it came to keeping his identity as Hawk Moth a secret from the world.
Human beings we're confused because of the Miraculous power, but technology wasn't.
Max robot friend Markov, had uncovered his identity and took over his basement to attack him.
The robot Uncanny Valley uncovered both Ladybug and Cat Noir identities through a scan.
The Future AI was currently the most advanced in the world right now, it would be an embarrassment if it didn't uncover his identity as well.
So it not only linked him as Hawk Moth, thanks to the Future Watch on his Assistant arm.
She should have really taken that thing off like her boss, it uncovered that she was Mayura, Hawk Mouth partner in crime.
The two of them were wanted for various crimes and we're the reason why Paris lived in fear of feeling sadness.
The AI sent all the evidence to the new Mayor of Paris Future Watch and Nino suddenly said while he was playing video games with his best friend.
"You know my house is always open right?" He said to the surprised guy. "Just wanted to let you know in case, you need to get away from your sour-puss father for a while. My mom actually signed up to foster kids, so if you ever need a place to stay, you got my number. We'll live like true bros"
From what his mom said, the Foster system was very happy to have her, especially when they realised where she lived.
Adrien blinked and said. "Thanks but what brought this on? You make it sound like something is going to happen to my dad. That's creepy"
"Yeah, that is creepy. Just take it as if you want to blow off some steam without your father finding out" he said, he didn't know why either. "My house is always open. It would be amazing if we could do sleepovers. I'll even help you sneak out of the house, I'll bring a grappling hook"
And Adrien blinked and then laughed, this was why he was his best friend.
Adrian could totally see him trying to get him out spy style.
And Natalie came in and told him, his time was up.
The air was immediately sucked out and Nino said. "Well, bye dude."
He got up and began walking, meanwhile, Paris police station was going nuts as the Mayor had come to them with shocking evidence of who Hawk Moth was.
And the worst part was, in the files were clips of Gabriel showing very controlling behaviour, Gabriel files on all of Adrien classmates, the book he had no business owning and many more like the camera footage shown as he ran towards Ladybug and Cat Noir whereabouts when Ladybug told them not to look.
He seemed angry when Animastro was defeated.
That didn't look like an innocent man.
With this evidence, the Police could look into it and uncover what could have changed in the man life and discovered the Man wife disappeared and a few days later, Hawk Moth debuted in Paris.
The final nail in the coffin, was the footage ripped straight from the secret basement he had, it showed him transforming and speaking to his victims.
There was no coming back from that footage.
However, the new Mayor was smart and compassionate, she knew she couldn't arrest Gabriel and his manager on live tv or when Adrien was in the house.
She couldn't imagine, a child who just lost his mother, seeing his father arrested for terrorism.
And they had no way of cutting Gabriel Agreste escape, he was a martial arts expert and his Miraculous was under his tie, he can transform any minute.
She didn't know where the other one was so that could also be on the assistant's body as well.
She texted back what she believed was the hacker who was responsible for giving her, her job to see if they can somehow get the miraculous away from the two of them.
She got an affirmative.
Human and AI helped each other out.
While the two suspects were asleep, the AI froze the camera's and security in the house, then it grew legs from the centre of Gabriel Watch, it removed itself and then carefully scaled the man to find the Miraculous.
It took it and then it went for the Peacock Miraculous and hid both of them, there were a lot of places to hid in the mansion, it then texted the Mayor the location of where it hid them and then under the frozen security and camera's, the Mayor sent forces in and hid them around the property out of sight.
When morning came, there was, of course, chaos due to the loss of the Miraculous's and a confused Adrien was hurried out of the door.
When the stationed officers saw Adrien leave for school, the windows were slightly opened by the forces and then they released sleeping gas into the house.
With the house system not working, nothing alerted both Nathalie and Gabriel of the gas.
So both of them were knocked out cold within minutes, the team came in and found the Miraculous's, proving the video footage was real.
Both of the suspects were taken out and you can just imagine, the neighbours or anybody walking by the reaction to seeing an Unconcious world-famous fashion designer and his assistant being detained and carried off the property by police.
Gabriel Agreste woke up and found himself bound from top to bottom, in what looked like a police integration room.
Who stepped into the room next was none other than the new Mayor Lucy Mire.
She ignored the man trying to ask what was going on, she merely opened her laptop and pressed play.
The whole room went completely silent when Gabriel saw himself transform from his basement footage, and then the Mayor put his missing Miraculous on the table.
The Mayor said. "Now, are you going to tell us why you used magic to becoming an international terrorist, thanks to the stunt you pulled in New York, was worth risking your 20 Million dollar fashion label and your own son placement? You have a 14-year-old child who needs you, for god sakes man. And you are doing this in your basement!"
Gabriel was completely silent, but it was because of shock.
She said. "If your smart you will come clean now so that your son can brace himself for when the media rips his whole family to shreds! What you've done isn't just going to affect you, it's going to affect you son, the thousands of people working in your house and producing your product, it's going to affect the countless stores that have your product in and it's going to affect the entire city economy because nobody wants to buy one of our biggest brands names due to it being named after somebody who was prepared to release New York missile system to start World War 3! How can you be so selfish, you put countless lives on the line, lives not only in Paris but through the entire world. Did you forget who the hell you are or did you just not care and love the thrill of it?"
The man before her, disgusted her, the man just had to focus on being a father and keep producing a product, instead, he decided to gamble with people lives thinking he wouldn't get caught.
Well, he did and he lost.
Paris and the whole world will feel this, who had such money to replace the Gabriel brand?
And his son, that poor boy.
And Gabriel dropped his head, he knew it was over.
He said. "I just wanted to have my wife back so that my family can be whole again"
He was talking.
