Chapter 9 – New Friends
Alexa's pov
I woke up at Davina's place early at 4am, I started to get ready when Davina walked in. "Morning you." She said to me.
"Morning." I said to her.
"Are you excited to have your own place?" She asked me.
I nodded, "It will be nice to have a place to call my own." I told her.
She smiled at me, as I packed up the clothes I had at her place. We went downstairs and Jeremy was waiting. "Come on we better hurry and sign this lease and go to school." He said to us both.
We looked at each other, "Ok boss." I said to him with a smile.
He chuckled as we got into Davina's car, I gave Davina the address and we headed over to the foreclosure which is gonna be my home now. We pulled up to see Isobel and the lawyer ready. I got out of the car and we did the paper work quickly. "This house is officially yours Miss Gilbert." He told me.
I smiled and nodded, "Thank you." I said to him and he left the property.
Isobel hugged me, "Davina and Jeremy please come into my home." I said to them both. They smiled and walked inside. "Isobel would you like to come inside." I said to her.
She smiled and walked inside, "Be careful I'll be back in a few days." She told me.
I nodded, as she left. Davina and Jeremy smiled at me. "Okay time for school." Davina said to me.
I nodded, we all headed to the school. Stefan walked up to me, "Can we talk later still?" he asked me.
I nodded, "Yeah sure at the Grill, okay?" I asked him.
He nodded, "Yeah sure, lets go to class." He said to me.
I was sitting in history when Alaric was giving me weird looks. "That's it for today class. Alexa can you stay behind need to talk about your paper." He said to me.
The class left and I walked up to him, "So Stefan and Damon told me you met Isobel." He said to me.
I nodded, "Yeah, I did. She seems sweet. I think she misses you." I told him.
He looked at me, "I doubt that." He said to me, "Her emotions where off last time I saw her.
"A lot can change, humanity switch can't stay off forever." I told him.
He nodded, "You're right." He told me.
"I've got to go to my next class." I told him.
He nodded, "Here is your paper it was great." He told me. I took it and left the room. Stefan was waiting for me.
"I know this may be a stupid question but have you seen Elena?" he asked me.
"Nope not seen her sorry." I said leaving to go to English.
I walked in and sat down at my desk when Caroline walked in with Bonnie. Caroline sat next to me, "Hey are you coming back over tonight?" she asked me.
I nodded, "Yeah, I need to pick some stuff up. Isobel gave me a house." I told her.
She looked shocked as well as Bonnie. "And you took it?" Bonnie asked me.
I shot her a look, "Yeah I did Bonnie. Because a house that doesn't have Damon invited into is safer." I told her.
Caroline smiled, "I like that idea." She told me. The rest of the day went quick and Davina and Jeremy came with me to Caroline's house. I packed up my stuff and with the help of Caroline, Davina and Jeremy. Matt saw us all carrying boxes to the car, he grabbed a box from me and helped.
"What's going on?" he asked me.
"Birth mother gave me a house." I told him.
He smiled and hugged me, "That's great. Oh boss man at the Grill asked if you still want a job?" he asked me.
I nodded, "Great, I'll head over and tell him." He told me.
I nodded, "Thanks Mattie." I told him and he left. Caroline, Davina, Jeremy and I drive to my house to drop off the boxes.
"Wow this place is huge." She said to me getting out of the car.
"Yeah I know right." I opened the front door, "Caroline please come inside." I said to her.
She smiled and walked inside with a box. Davina and Jeremy walked in with the over stuff. "Right I need to head to the Grill to meet Stefan for a chat." I told them all.
Davina nodded and Jeremy grabbed her hand. "I'm going back to my house to look for a spell to help unlock your magic." She told me.
I nodded, "Thanks again D." I said to her as she left.
"Do you want me to drop you off at the Grill?" Caroline asked me.
I nodded, we walked outside and I locked the door. We headed to the Grill, Caroline pulled up. "Thank Care see you tomorrow." I told her, she had a sad smile on her face.
I walked into the Grill and saw Stefan waiting for me. I sat down at the table. "Hey Stefan." I said to him.
"Hey Alexa, look I wanted to tell you about Clary." He told me.
I nodded, "What was she like?" I asked him.
"She was sweet and innocent. She was a great friend to me, but she really didn't like Damon." He told me.
"Well I guess we aren't that different." I told him.
He chuckled, "She was also powerful, I still have her grimoires if you would like them?" he asked me.
I nodded, "Please, I did ask Elena for the Petrova book but no look." I told him.
"Well, I stopped by her house and managed to grab it for you." He told me, giving me it in a bag.
"Thank you Stefan." I told him.
He pulled a picture of Clary out, "This is what she looked like, she had red hair and emerald eyes." He told me.
"So completely different." I said to him looking at the photo.
He nodded, "Yes, your not her doppelganger. The only thing linking you and Elena is the Petrova blood." He told me.
"You're looking out for me aren't you?" I asked him.
"I guess I am, you remind me of someone. My best friend, Lexi." He told me.
"Really another Alexa?" I asked him.
He nodded, "Yeah she was a lot like you, passionate, caring and willing to fight for her family." He told me.
I smiled at him, "Thank you Stefan. Speaking of them grimoires can we go and get them?" I asked him.
He nodded, "Yeah sure." He said to me, we left the Grill going to his house. We walked inside to see Elena kissing Damon. Stefan and I looked shocked, Elena pulled away and looked at us both.
"Stefan, I..." she said to him.
"We are done Elena, let's get these books for you." He told me, taking me to his room.
He soon found the grimoires, "I kept them hidden from Damon. They belong you now." He told me.
"Do you want to crash at mine, Isobel gave me a house." I told him.
He looked at me and nodded, he packed a bag and we left the boarding house. I gave him my address and we drove to his house and I opened the door walking inside.
"Stefan Salvatore would you like to come into my home?" I asked him.
He smiled and nodded walking inside, I closed the door. After a couple of hours of moving stuff into my room, Stefan picked a guest room. There was a bang at the front door. I looked at Stefan, I pulled out a crossbow walking down the stairs. I opened the door it was Katherine with her mate Elijah. There was a blonde guy behind him.
"Hello Miss Gilbert, this is my brother Niklaus and I'm Elijah." He told me.
I looked at Katherine and she nodded, "Please come inside." I told them all.
The three of them walked inside, Niklaus looked at me. "So this is Alexa?" he asked Katherine.
She nodded, Stefan moved in front of me. "I recognise you." Stefan said to him.
Niklaus smirked, "Well we met in the 1920's." He told him. "I can help you remember are you on Vervain?" he asked Stefan.
Stefan nodded, "We'll have to wait till that is out of your system." He told him.
"Elijah go and wake up Kol and Rebekah." Niklaus told him.
"Wait Kol as in my mate Kol?" I asked him.
He nodded, "Yes Alexa. I want my family to be happy with there mates. Stefan's mate is my darling sister Rebekah." He told me and Stefan.
Stefan looked a little bit confused and unsure. "Stefan it will be okay." Katherine told him.
He nodded and looked at me, when Elijah was at the door. I looked at Elijah and saw a beautiful blonde that must be Rebekah and a mini version of Elijah. "Please come in." I said to them both, they walked inside.
Kol walked up to me, "It's really you. My mate." He said to me.
I nodded, "Hello." I said to him.
Rebekah looked at Stefan, Stefan looked like he remembered her but not fully. Stefan's phone went off, he looked at me. "Elena?" I asked him.
He nodded, I took his phone and answered it putting it on speaker. "Hello Elena."
"Alexa where is Stefan?" she asked me.
"He is fine he doesn't want to talk to you." I told her.
"Damon kissed me. I'm sorry but I love Damon." She told me.
"Then I guess you are nothing but a slut sister. Buh bye." I said hanging up, giving Stefan his phone back.
Kol smirked, "I like you already." He told me.
I blushed, "Isobel informed you that your witch powers where locked away. She is arriving tomorrow with the Martian witches to break the spell the Bennet's put on you." Katherine told me.
"Davina is looking for a spell to lift it also. Maybe she could help with the spell tomorrow?" I asked her.
She nods, "Anything for my sister." She told me.
I smiled, Stefan could see I was happy, "There are guest rooms upstairs, that you can all stay in." I said to them. "I have some clothes that you can borrow also." I said to Rebekah.
She smiled at me, "Thank you." She told me.
"I have some clothes that Kol can borrow." Stefan said to me and Kol.
Kol nodded, "Thank you, Stefan." He told him.
Niklaus looked at me, "I need to find my mate too brother." He told Elijah.
"We will find her." He told him.
"Do you know her name?" I asked him.
He nodded, "Caroline." He told me. Me and Stefan looked at each other when my phone went off it was Caroline.
A/N – Elijah, Kol, Rebekah and Klaus are here. From here on out it will be completely different to how season 2 played out. Caroline will meet Klaus in the next chapter along with Davina and Jeremy. Alexa will have her witch powers unlocked also by the Jonas and Luka.
Team Save Elena will fail big time.
