I'm BACK! Sorry for the wait everyone. Chapter seven. Please continue voting on the poll please. This chapter will not be the next part of Wave but will be about what's going on in Konoha. Kurotsuchi walks into a small clearing of trees where she sees two shinobi from Kumo sitting around a campfire. "Who are you?" She asks them as they all reach for weapons. "My name is Killer Bee. The kunoichi next to me is Yugito Nii." Kurotsuchi nods and removes her hand from the kunai pouch on her left leg. Ao then walks out of the shadows. "We have been hired by Konoha's Hokage to investigate the life of his genin. Name is redacted." "Where's the Sand nin that's suppose to join us?" They look around trying to find said nin. Pakura limps into the camp. "Sorry I'm late. I fought with some missing-nins from Kusa." Bee nods as Yugito starts healing her. "Lets wait for the ANBU contacts." "No need we've been here since Bee lit the fire." They look up and see in the trees four ANBU from Konoha standing on the branches…upside down. "Let's go then, the Hokage is waiting."
Hiruzen and Homura are looking through folders filled with medical reports for one Naruto Uzumaki. "How much pain did we put this boy through?" "Too much Homura-san." The door opens and the two elderly men see the shinobis they've hired walk in. "Thank you for coming. I will alert you all that upon entering my office that you have agreed to accept this SS-ranked mission." Ao's single eye widens at the statement as Bee, Pakura and Kurotsuchi sit down on the ground in shock. "What's the full mission Hokage-sama?" Yugito asks the aged leader. Hiruzen throws folders at each of them and thanks to their training they catch them. "I want you to find out if what those folders hold is true or not. And if it's true you have permission to arrest the offenders. If they give any form of physical resistance, kill them." They nod and leave the office holding the folders.
At the hotel we see the team of shinobi going over the folders. The more they read the more they all hope for someone to be dumb enough to fight back. "How do we wish to spilt the objectives?" "Me and Ao will take the hospital. Kurotsuchi and Pakura can take the clans. Yugito can take the civilians." Bee tells them and they all nod in agreement. "We start tomorrow morning. Good luck and good night." They head to their rooms to rest.
Pakura closes the door to her room. She slides down the wall crying. 'This child is worse off than Gaara-san. How is he still loyal to this hellhole? I don't care what it'll cost me. I'll help this boy on matter what the future holds!' She changes out of her uniform and heads to bed wearing a nightgown not knowing her thoughts are on the same track as the others.
The morning comes and the team heads out on their missions. Ao and Bee walk towards the hospital to interview the doctors and med-nins that work there. Yugito jumps across the roofs towards where the main bars and restaurants. "Which clan should we talk with first Pakura-san?" Kurotsuchi asks. "Let's first talk with the Uchiha, then the Aburame." She nods as they head towards the clan districted.
As they walk towards said clan's ground they notice that both civilians and ninjas are wearing different colored sashes. Orange for being part of the Pro-Naruto faction, white for the Neutrals and blood red for the Pro-War faction. Though they don't know what the colors mean. "A three-way political split?" "Maybe be or it could just be something else." A Uchiha clan member waves to them. "You must be the shinobi hired by Hokage-sama. My name is Rokuda Uchiha and I'll lead you to where Shisui-sama and the elders are waiting." Pakura nods as Kurotsuchi looks at the clan member with interest, mainly because he wears an orange sash. "Will he explain why people are wearing different colored sashes on their left arms?" "Hai." They enter the ground as shinobi and civilian members of the clan watch them. They reach a large building near the center of the ground. "Enter." Pakura and Kurotsuchi enter the room to see 5 elders and Shisui Uchiha siting around a small black fire. "Please sit and ask your questions." The two kunoichis do so and the following conversation is more than what they expected. They are glad for the scrolls with the Self-Writing Seal on them that was given to them by Iruka before they left the tower. "Thank you for help." Shisui bows his head and Pakura notices that he, along with the elders are wearing white sashes.
The Aburame, Yamanake, Nara, Akimichi, and Hyuga clans all give different tales about Naruto to the two. Pakura takes notes of what colored sashes the clans' leadership along with many of the members wear. 'The Aburame wear orange. Yamanake wear mostly white, while the Nara and Akimichi are split down the middle with orange and white. Hyugas' main branch, save for the clan head, wear the red sash. What is the cause for this? The Side Branch wear orange along side the clan head.' "The last major clan to visit is the Inuzuka." "What of the Namikaze?" "They are only two members both genin if I remember correctly, plus we still have the minor clans to visit." Kurotsuchi nods as the reach the Inuzuka grounds. "Welcome guests." Hana greets the two. "My mother waits for you with our elders and if you wish for more info come find me at the clinic near the East gate of the compound." With that said she turns and leaves the two.
The elders along with Tsume give a very biased opinion on Naruto. 'Makes sense they wouldn't give us a good point of view with them all wearing red sashes. I wonder what Kurotsuchi-san is thinking.' "Thank you for the information but we must make our journey to the Kurama clan next for meeting the minor clans." Kurotsuchi bows as Pakura leaves the room without bowing. "What the fuck is wrong with those people!?" "I don't know what you mean Pakura-san?" "I mean they wish to take away free will from a 12-year-old child. How are you not outraged at that?" Kurotsuchi just shrugs and heads towards the gate. "I'm going to meet with the clan member who told us about the clinic." Again, Kurotsuchi just shrugs not even trying to stop her from going.
Pakura walks around towards the East gate of the compound noting down who is wearing what colored sash. 'The more senior members wear red, the middle generation is wearing orange and the younger generation is split between white, red and orange with the majority wearing white.' She reaches the clinic's door and knocks. "Come in." Pakura enters and sees that Hana is sitting behind a small desk. "Welcome to the clinic and unofficial meeting place for Middle Generation. What did you need to talk about?" Pakura looks at Hana with interest. 'She's around my age. I really like her bluntness, it helps that she's also hot and a fellow kunoichi.' "Sorry what was your question Inuzuka-san?" "I was wondering if you're feeling ok…are you blushing?" Hana giggles as Pakura tries to fight the small blush on her face. "No! I…was wondering if would talk more about this political strife…and maybe go out later tonight?" The last bit is mumbled but Hana still hears it. Both start blushing as they take in each other's body. 'Oh Kami. Stop these thoughts Hana. You don't have time for love, but her eyes are beautiful.' "Sure. Take a seat, we can arrange our date later." Soon Pakura learns more from Hana about what is going on then what both her and Kurotsuchi ever learned from the other major clans. "I'll come over around 6?" "Sounds good. See you then." Hana nods with a smile and a faint rose color on her checks. Pakura leans in and plants a quick, chaste kiss on Hana's lips. With that Pakura leaves the Inuzuka clan grounds with not just information but a date.
With Bee and Ao at the Hospital.
Bee and Ao reach the main entrance to the hospital noting the different colored sashes everyone is wearing. "What do you think is going on with those sashes Ao-san?" Ao just shrugs. "Welcome to the Konoha Institute of Health and Medicine. How can we assist you gentlemen?" A nurse asks them at the front desk. "We would like a meeting with the Medical Director, Head of the Board and Head of Records. Mission is from the Hokage." Ao tells her as a few injured civilians are looking at the two foreign shinobis with distain. "Of course. Please head to the third floor. Conference room 313 is open." Ao nods as Bee watches the eyes of the people around. 'I don't' think we are liked or even in good hands.' 'I agree with you Bee. I'm also glad that you've grown up and stopped rapping.' Bee gains a sweatdrop at Gyuki's statement. Ao and the guide both raise an eyebrow. "Come on Bee-san. We've got a meeting to get to." Bee nods and follows them to the third floor.
The two shinobis wait and wait. Minutes become hours. They both start wondering what's taking so long. It's almost 4pm by the time the Medical Director, Head of the Board and Head of Records enter the room. "Sorry gentlemen for the wait. The records you wanted to longer to gather than we first thought." Nakai Hikari, MD, tells them as they all take a seat. "Why did it take so long, if it's alright to ask?" Bee asks the three. "Well, there was more folders, records and other paperwork for this person than we first thought." Tsukiyomi Kingo, Head of Records, alerts them. "I also couldn't find his birth records until I found a folder marked red." Bee's eyes widen so much that Nakai wonders if it's a new medical problem. "You mean that this Naruto is a jinchuriki?" Ao asks while Bee is talking with Gyuki. "Yes. But that's open knowledge around here. It's red for something above even my pay grade." Otonari Benkei, Head of Board, tells them causing Ao to rocket out of his chair. "WHAT!" Everyone nods their heads. "But you're the Head of the Board. How is it out of your pay grade?" "It just is. Now can we discuss why this meeting is need." Ao nods as Bee stares blankly at them. The meeting goes off without any interruption. "Thank you all for your time." Three civilians bow to Ao. "Please if you need help with anything just send a message with the ANBU." Bee nods. They leave the hospital caring four scrolls with copies of the all records for Naruto.
With Yugito.
'How should I start my part of this mission?' 'Easy kit, the council should be the first place to look.' 'Thank you Matatabi.' With that Yugito heads to the civilian council chambers at the Hokage's Tower. She doesn't notice the sashes or the ROOT nin following her.
Danzo stands at the front door of the main council's chambers waiting for his "allies" to finish talking…read interrogating….the Hokage. "Danzo-sama. One of the enemies of Leaf is on the way here." "Thank you." The ROOT nin fades back into the shadows just as the doors open. "We could've used you in there Danzo-san." Koharu tells him as the rest of the civilians nod in agreement. "Sorry but this meeting wasn't the one I was waiting for." "What meeting were you waiting for then." A Pro-war civilian asks. "Let's go to our chambers to greet our…guest." Danzo hisses out the last word with disgust.
Yugito enters the tower wondering where the civilian council is. "You lost?" Yugito turns to face Genma standing in a doorway. "Yeah. I'm trying to find the civilian council chambers" 'Sweet Kami he's sexy.' 'Bed him kit. Or I will.' 'MATATABI!' "Sure. Just follow me then Miss…Yugito was it?" "Correct?" "Genma." "Correct Genma-san." Unbeknownst to Yugito, Genma is trying not to blush or eye her up. 'Why are the good ones here either man-hating, lesbian or married. Dammit.' The two shinobis head towards where the civilians are waiting. "So, anyone back at home?" "Not really. I've never found time to date. You?" "Same. You want to try." A blush comes over Yugito's face at her statement. Genma turns around and they lock eyes. "I got nothing planned for tonight. Meet at the hotel around 5:45pm?" Yugito just nods as Matatabi is pushing lewd images of the two. "It's the next door on your right Yugito-chan." "Thank you Genma-kun." They part ways with faint blushes on their checks.
Danzo, Koharu and the rest of the council greets Yugito with indifference. "What can you tell me about one of your genin?" "Which one. We have many." Yugito continues to ask questions without giving up Naruto's identity, but Danzo slowly starts piecing things together. 'So, they want information on Naruto. Why?' The conversation continues until 3pm in the afternoon. Yugito face is passive, while on the inside she burns with hatred of a thousand volcanoes. 'These people…no monsters don't care about Naruto-san at all.' 'Calm kit. You must not show your emotion to them, especially to the badged one. Something is off with him.' "I'm must take my leave honored council to meet up with the others hired for this job. Thank you for your time and…wisdom." "You are not dismissed until you tell us why you and your team is here!" Araki Haruno tells…read scream…her. "I'm hired by Hokage-sama. He gave us a SS-ranked mission. It's above this council to know." Araki face is turning purple in rage at the emotionless tone Yugito has taken. Danzo nods and waves his hand towards the door. "You are dismissed Yugito-san. I will talk with council member Haruno on proper procedure." "Thank you, Danzo-san." With a bow, Yugito leaves the room still tailed by a ROOT nin.
Yugito soon meets up with Ao and Bee. "Hey. You guys get the info from the hospital?" Ao nods as Bee looks around. "We should get the others before talking more. We're to much in the open right now." The other two look at Bee with confusion etched on their faces. "Why?" "This mission has much more far reaching impact than just here." Ao still is confused as Yugito nods in agreement with Bee. "Lets head to the hotel." They head there losing the ROOT nin around the Red Light Districted.
Kurotsuchi and Pakura run into the others a few blocks away from their hotel. "Hey. Ready to fill each other in?" They all nod as they enter the hotel. Upon reaching their room Bee applies privacy seals, silencing seals and other seals that only Yugito knows. "Now, Pakura you can speak for your group. What do the clans have to say." Pakura and Kurotsuchi explain the situation the clans are in. "So, the sashes denote who sides with who. At least it's clan only." Yugito shakes her head. "Sadly, it's not jus clans Ao. The civilian council is also wearing those sashes. Majority is in the Red camp." Ao pales at that as bee remembers. "The hospital is also split down these lines with many in the Orange over White and Red." They continue their discussion until 5pm. "I have to get ready for a date." "Is little Yugito growing up?" "Shut it Bee!" A blush crosses her face as Pakura also gets one on a smaller, less noticeable scale. "Good luck." Ao and Kurotsuchi tell her at the same time causing them to blush.
Genma stands out front of the hotel waiting for Yugito. "You got this Genma. Don't mess this up to much." He mumbles encouragements as he waits for the equally nervous Yugito. "Genma-kun. I'm ready." He turns around and is speechless. Yugito stands in front of him in a dark blue dress, showing off her long, slender legs. Her long, blonde hair is pulled back into a single ponytail. Genma just stares at her for a good two minutes. "Beautiful. You're the most beautiful woman I've seen." Yugito blushes hard at his compliments. She then takes in Genma's appearance. He's wearing a two-piece black suit with his bandanna matching. She giggles at the fact that he still, somehow, has a senbon in his mouth. "You aren't back looking either." "Shall we go. I got us seats at The Oak." They head out not seeing either Hana or Pakura leave for their own date.
Pakura stand in the lobby of the hotel waiting for Hana. She looks at Yugito and her date with an inquisitive eye. 'So that's Yugito's mystery man. He's cute but not my type. Hana-chan is hotter than him but I doubt her clan would let her date me.' She turns to head back to the room just as Hana sprints in. "Sorry. My brother held me up for a bit." Pakura turns and is greeted with the Hana in a crimson red dress, showing her curves in the right places. "Damn." Hana also takes in what Pakura is wearing. She is in a sleeve less purple dress with her hair bun flowing down her back. Both women drink in the others appearance for about 5 minutes. "We should get going. There's a bar near by called The Fine Trunk Tavern. I hear they got good bar food." "Sounds good." They head out a few seconds before Yugito and Genma.
At The Oak with Genma and Yugito.
The waitress leads the two shinobis to their table. "I'll be right back with drinks and the menu. Might I say you both look gorgeous tonight." They both blush as the waitress laughs. She leaves the two alone. "How long have you been a shinobi?" "Since I was around eight. I worked as part of the Fourth's Elite bodyguard squad before the Kyubi Incident. He was a good leader and an even better friend." "I'm sorry." Yugito places her hand on top of Genma's. They continue talking about their ninja careers without giving village secrets. The meal goes well and soon dessert is finished. Both have a light blush on their faces from the alcohol and from the different, unintended compliments. "Lets head back to the hotel." "Sounds good." Genma pays for the food and drinks, leaving a ten ryo tip for the waitress. They head back to the hotel around 8pm.
They reach the hotel without any problems, despite the amount of drinks they had. "I enjoyed tonight. Want to send letter to each other?" "Sounds fun. I would like that Yugito-chan." They head up to Yugito's personal room at the hotel, what gentleman doesn't walk their date all the way home. Yugito turns and their faces are inches apart. Genma can feel her breath on his lips. They lean closer together. Matatabi grins hungrily at the thought of her kit dating such a handsome man. 'Go for it kit. For the love of Kami kiss the man!' Ignoring her tenet, she kisses Genma. Yugito is pressed against the door to her room as Genma slowly turns the kiss from a simple date ender to a passionate one. She lightly pushes him off to open the door. Yugito then turns back and continues their heated kiss.
Ao and Bee hear moans and other sounds of sex coming from Yugito's room for a few minutes before seals are applied to stop the sounds. "At least she's having fun." Ao grumbles as Bee grins from ear to ear. They are currently playing poker. Ao has lost most of his money by this point. "Pair of Aces and pair of kings." "That's a good hand but I got a straight." "Dammit!"
The Fine Trunk Tavern.
Sato Sato has seen a lot of different things in her bar. Fights between drunk chunin. ANBU raids. Karaoke night. She snorts at that thought as she watches two beautiful ladies sit down at her bar. "What can I get you two tonight?" "Let's start with some sake, a pitcher of water and snacks at first before we decide on a meal." Pakura tells her. "Alright. Names Sato Sato, owner of The Fine Trunk Tavern." "I'm Hana Inuzuka and this is my date Pakura." Pakura smiles as Hana holds her hand. Sato nods and gets their drinks and pitcher of water. "What type of snacks are ya looking for?" "I think we'll go with your chicken nachos for now." Sato once again nods and head to the kitchen. Much like Genma and Yugito, they mostly talk about their careers and day to day life in the village. Twenty minutes after getting their snack Sato asks them what meal they want. "I'll take your four fish special with a side of onion rings." "Will do, and what about you?" "I'll have your ten-pound T-bone steak with the side of the soup of the month." "And drinks?" Pakura orders a whiskey on the rocks and Hana gets a Long Island Iced Tea. "It'll be out in fifteen minutes. Can I get ya more sake and water as you wait?" They both nod yes. Sato smiles and gets their order in for the kitchen. The meal goes well without much of a problem. Pakura and Hana stumble out of the tavern. "Let's head back to the hotel."
They make their way back, stumbling as they go. "I think we drank a little to much Hana-chan." Pakura tells her. Hana just laughs. "I agree Pakura-chan. Do you remember that kiss early today?" "What about…" She gets cut off as Hana places her lips on Pakura's. They hold the kiss for a ground 4 minutes before Pakura pushes Hana off. "We need to get to the hotel." "Race ya. First one there gets the shower first tomorrow." With a smile they both sprint off to the hotel even with all the alcohol in their system.
"I win Hana-chan!" Pakura giggles out as she stumbles into the hallway holding her room. "No far Pakura-chan your slightly tall than me." Hana tells the laughing Suna jonin. Pakura opens the door as Hana snakes her arms around her waist. "Can I stay the night Pakura-chan?" "Yes, you can Hana-chan." They once more kiss and their night ends with them naked in bed.
Ao and Bee both wonder what Kurotsuchi is up to. "We've only seen her at the meeting Bee-san." "I noticed that too. Wonder where she is, also my pot once more." "KAMI CURSE YOU BEE!"
With Kurotsuchi.
While two of her teammates head out to their dates, Kurotsuchi heads to the Stone of Heroes. As she walks, she tries to organize all that she's learned. 'What did this child do? Even Han and Roshi aren't as hated.' Kurotsuchi continues her thoughts a Shikamaru follows her. How a jonin has yet to notice a genin following them is a mystery. They both continue their journey, one for the Stone the other just wandering.
"So, this is the famous Stone of Heroes. Not much." Kurotsuchi muses outload. "That's true but it has the name of ever shinobi killed in the wars and the Kyubi Incident." She turns around drawing a kunai as Shikamaru leans up against a nearby tree. "Why are you looking at the Stone miss?" "Kurotsuchi. And I'm looking to find more information about you tree-hugging ninjas." Shikamaru laughs as she raises an eyebrow. "If you wanted the history of our village you could've just went to the Library." She face palms at the simple answer. "Can you take me there?" "Sure, troublesome though." He turns away from the Stone and Kurotsuchi follows him. 'Stupid genin. I was looking for a way in for Iwa's invasion.' 'Troublesome Iwa nin. I wish they'd learned. And I'm the idiot here.'
They reach the library three hours before closing. "Thank you." "No problem. The history section is on the East side. I should tell you that there's five jonin and twelve ANBU watching the library." 'Can this kid be anymore of an idiot.' She nods as Shikamaru leaves and unknow to her his face has a smile worthy of Orochimaru.
Said Sanin sneezes alerting the patrolling Kusa nins to his location. "Dammit. Come Tayuya." Tayuya Uzumaki nods and follows her new boss without any argument.
Kurotsuchi gathers different books and scrolls on the history of Konohagakure. She finds out how the village was founded. The small internal wars they had with traveling shinobi clans, many who joined the village later. What alliances they previously had and the current peace treaties. 'I can't believe that all this info is open to the public. Wait…there's no information on the defenses of the village, the seal network they have on the outskirts of their territory within Hi no Kuni, current number of active ninjas, location of any Orochimaru research bases either. Where is that data?!' She rages on the inside at the thought of a genin outsmarting her, which is just what Shikamaru did.
Kurotsuchi returns to the hotel empty handed. She hears someone having sex. With a sigh, Kurotsuchi lays down in bed and slowly heads to sleep with the thoughts of hatred, anger, and a little respected for the genin who pulled the wool over her eyes. "The Stone would've held more info than the library. Dammit!"
Genma wakes up with the sight of blonde hair laying next to him. 'Did I sleep with Yugito-chan last night?' "Ugh…morning Genma-kun." He looks at Yugito who's head is resting on his shoulder. "Morning to you as well Yugito-chan." They both lay there for awhile collecting their thoughts before Yugito sits up. The blanket coving her slides off giving Genma the perfect view of her bare upper body. With a teasing smile Yugito gets out of bed and makes her way to the bathroom, hips swaying on the way. "Damn. I now see why Nara men think that women are troublesome." He hears the shower start and with a grin he heads to join her.
Hana holds her head as she wakes up with the sunlight hitting her eyes. "Damn sun." She mumbles, rolling over in the bed. Pakura feels someone move in her bed waking her up. "Good morning." "Five more minutes Pakura-chan. Please?" She just laughs as Hana wraps her arms around Pakura's waist. "Sure. But remember I get the shower first." "How about we take the shower together." With a blush Pakura turns to face Hana and she plants a kiss on her lips. Five more minutes indeed.
The other three meet up at a stall for breakfast. "What's the plan for today?" "Bee-san, we should wait for the others." Kurotsuchi rolls her eyes as the two-start arguing over if they should wait or not. She looks around and sees the same genin for last night chasing a cat. 'Is that cat heading this way?' Kurotsuchi watches as said cat jumps over not just over her but both Bee, Ao and third other tables with practice ease. "Troublesome! Choji. Tora is heading your way. I'm going to try and cut her off at the Uchiha district. Ino! Get off your ass and help us!" He screams in his radio. Kurotsuchi watches on with a smile as the genin runs down an alleyway. "Serves you right for causing me a headache." She mumbles as Ao and Bee continue their argument.
Pakura and Yugito finally join their teammates around 10:45 in the morning. "Let's update Hokage-sama on our progress and see how much longer we are staying." Bee nods his head in agreement. "FINIALLY YOU TO AGREE ON SOMETHING." Kurotsuchi falls to her knees as her male compatriots redden in anger. "Let's just go." Yugito tells them shaking her head. Pakura is the only one to notice the very slight limp in Yugito's step as the group head towards the Tower.
"Damn. Paperwork. Why does Yami curse me so?!" Hiruzen moans. Two ANBU swear to their graves that the paperwork laughs at their leaders' anger. "Is paperwork a living creature?" Cat ask her fellow agent. Tiger shakes his head. "I don't know. If it is then we should run. We've got our own reports to write up after this." Cat pales at the thought of her own stack of paperwork. Soon the strange group of foreign shinobis enter his office. "Hokage-sama. We agreed that we should give you an update on our mission." Hiruzen nods as Ao starts the briefing. "And that's all we've gathered so far." "Thank you, Ao-san. Your mission is for two weeks so please continue gathering any information. Also please take note of those in Red sashes." They nod as Hiruzen dismisses them from his office. "Where was I on this paperwork."
"I'm going to check in with Genma-kun and let him know that we'll be here for the next two weeks." "I'll do the same with Hana-chan." Pakura and Yugito head out to find their dates turned lovers from last night. "Let's patrol the village, noting down the colored sashes." Ao heads to the East. Bee to the North and Kurotsuchi heads towards the Academy. 'Let's see what they teach here and what the instructors say about this Naruto.'
Iruka just finished his last lecture…read nothing…to his class of aspiring genin when he sees Kurotsuchi approaching. "You must be one of the shinobis hired to investigate one of our genin correct?" "Are major secrets hard to keep around here?" Iruka just laughs as she looks dumbstruck. "Well, it depends on the secret, but the usual answer would be yes and no." "Well what can you tell me about that genin you think I'm here to investigate?" She listens to the stories that Iruka gives her as another teacher grades paper. Ao walks and talks with many on the eastern side of the village. He learns much more from just talking to people than by just listening. "So, what you are saying is that this genin first started out as a prankster?" "That's what I heard and seen, there's a chunin around here that when ever he sees Tora moves a hand over his groin area." Ao looks at the civilian with a raised eyebrow but says nothing. "Thank you for your time. This helps build me report." "No problem. If ya want to learn about the beatings the boy had you'd better head to the West side of the village…or to the prison under the T&I in the south." Ao nods his thanks and leaves the person he was talking to five ryo richer.
Bee is more than just confused. He's down right not getting anything from these people anymore. When he first started talking to them, he learned a lot but once he said Hokage they shut their mouths quicker than a beaver could build a dam. 'Why did they shut up so quick Gyuki?' 'I don't know Bee but keep your head on a swivel.' Bee nods and does just that as he listens in on back alley conversations. He learns that the North side of the village is where the black-market is. Bee notes down drug dealers, dens, labs, and other businesses of that nature in his report. Bee leaves the Darker side of village with much more information than he walked in with…and maybe a lighter coin purse too.
Yugito finds Genma training with 5 different chunin at one of the more public training grounds. "Hey, Genma-san isn't that the girl you were talking about?" "She's not some girl. She's a woman who could kick your collective asses." They all laughed as Yugito blushes heavily at Genma's compliment. "So, Yugito-chan what brings you here?" "I can tell you that my team and I will be here for the next two weeks. I'm also hoping to convince the Raikage to reopen our embassy here in the Konoha and place me as chief ambassador." Genma thinks on what she said as the other chunin start recollecting their thrown weapons. "Sounds good Yugito-chan. Any thing else." "Well I'm hoping to gather more information from you and others who are willing to talk." One of the chunins smile. "As long as you keep Genma-san here honest and happy. We'll sing like a canary for ya." "more like deaf tone bats straight out of hell." Genma mumbles load enough for everyone to hear. Soon Yugito gets information vital to her mission and another date set for Friday.
Pakura bumps into Hana and Anko on her way to the T&I building. "Hey Hana-chan" "Pakura-chan." They hug as Anko looks on with a grin plastered on her face. "So, Hana. Ya going to introduce me to your very sexy friend here?" Hana looks at deadpanned at Anko while Pakura blushes at Anko's compliment. "This is my girlfriend Pakura. She's here on a very important mission for the Hokage." "Ah. That mission. Well if your heading to T&I then follow me." She does and her, Hana and Anko talk about Naruto on the way there. "Welcome to T&I, one of the last buildings many spies see…though now a days our cells are filled with rioters and looters from the North and West sides of the village." Pakura looks puzzled at Anko as Ibiki walks down the stairs from his office towards them. "I'll take it from here Anko-san. Prisoner 34687 needs your…more personal touch." She heads off as Ibiki leads Pakura and Hana up to his office. By the time the others finish with their information gathering Pakura is at the hotel bar nursing drinks with Hana.
"Do we even want to know what you gathered there Pakura-san?" Ao asks her as he, Bee and Kurotsuchi take the stools around the two tipsy kunoichis. "IF you got the time and scrolls, I'll talk about it." Soon they are share the information they gathered from the East, North, T&I, from the chunin training grounds and the Academy. "It's around 4:30. I'll make copies of everything so far and take it to the Hokage. You all can stay here and just talk for a while. Sound good?" Bee asks them. Pakura just nods as Hana wraps an arm around her. Ao and Kurotsuchi both head back to their rooms for a nap.
Bee heads towards the Tower, watching the many shadows on his way there. He's carrying 8 scrolls that hold everything they have gathered in the first two days. Two days and already eight scrolls that hold the writing reports from each of them along with their personal observations. "Come in Bee-san." Bee enters the office of one the most powerful shinobis in the world. "What do you have for me so far?" "I have eight scroll that hold within many folders, written reports and observations from each of us from just two days sir." Hiruzen drops his pipe, he is flabbergasted at the thought of just the amount of paperwork they just created, let alone in just two days. "Leave them on my desk then Bee-san. I'll read through them later tonight." Bee does just that and then bows. "I'll take my leave then Hokage-sama." Hiruzen, God of the Shinobi, the Professor waves his hand towards the door to indicate that Bee can leave. Bee does so. "Naruto-kun I'm so sorry for what this village has done to you."
In Wave Naruto feels the shattering of a heart but doesn't know whose. "Please Kami don't let it be Hokage-jiji."
And with that Chapter seven is done. I know that I said that the pairing is NarutoXFem!Shino but I couldn't just leave side characters without love either so…yeah.
