"Mother Dearest" - Miroku
A question that has recently popped into my mind needs an answer.
Is Miroku's mother alive?
It's never specifically said (to my knowledge) that his mother died, is missing, was sucked into the wind tunnel, whatever.
So is his mother alive? Does Miroku have siblings?? (half siblings I would assume)

Gang goes into a village, intent on finding a room for the night, and they do. They decide to explore the village to see if anyone has heard tell of a jewel shard once the room is secured.
As they split throughout the village, a woman with a baby in her arms, maybe one or two older kids hanging from her apron strings, appears walking through the village. Older in looks but a youthful glow shines through the laugh lines on her face, making her appear younger than she is.
She sees Miroku, who doesn't notice her, and walks up behind him. Says something like "Well its about time you came home!" (Laughingly)
When he turns around to see who it is, a huge grin spreads across his face, as he laughs, greets her, and proceeds to huge the little ones.
Sango, seeing this happy scene a few moments later, proceeds to wail on him, upset that he didn't tell her he had children. (they're engaged by this point)
While on the ground nursing his ever growing bump on his head, he gazes up at Sango and calmly says.
"Sango, I'd like you to meet my mother."
