Author's Note: Behold my new schedule! Due to how my off days work you can expect a new chapter once every four to five days. Give or take a day. This one is a major episode for one of the season's main plot points. I'm really excited about it so let's get to it. But to be honest, I'm a little worried about it at the same time.
Disclaimer: I don't own Total Drama, the shuffled concept or the (most of) the characters.
And to answer some reviews:
gman5846: It is a shame what happened to the amazon. And I'm an essential worker so, work and sleep.
OmnipotentAbsoluteUIGodzilla: I'm glad you like Topher, he's honestly one of my favorite things about this season. Of course I can't sy too much about what will happen with him and Contessa.
LazloVader9943: It's true the Heroes are at a disadvantage, but that's hardly mattered in the long run. Eh while Rebecca is a sociopath, she's high functioning enough to understand that there are lines that society considers too far. But I was mainly quoting Dobby when I said that.
Tempokeep: Thanks! Jasmine's elimination wasn't really meant to be a shock. Glad you liked the chapter though.
TheChrisanthemum: Well minus a certain incident in DC, the year looks like it will be better for a lot of people. Glad you liked the chapter. I was a little worried it might be disjointed sins I was hlfway through it when my freetime dried up. Well saying Jasmine was awful might be stretching it a bit, but she wasn't the most rational person. And she had a lot to do with the clusterfuck that was Skave, considering it was Jasmine's advice that started Dave's downward spiral. Glad you like Courtney though. It means I'm doing a good job of keeping my hatred out of her characterization.
Knight: Not dead yet. And hopefully not for a while.
Derick Lindsey: I've created a schedule to keep myself sane. Well, relatively speaking. Honestly, I saw Jasmine's attitude as kind of a breaking point for Contessa. She's dealt with a lot of crap during her time on the show and I think she's going to be a lot more active going forward. Chris's joke was a bit of self-deprecating humor on my part. I was so dissapointed by canon Topher because how I was writing him is what I expected from someone labeled 'The Junior Chris'. Oh and Chris absolutely set up the final fight with the purpose of getting Topher beat up by Jasmine. Like I said, it'd be really hypocritical of Katie to hold Geoff's attitude against him considering her mood the previous season.
KryptonianKnight: One can only hope at least. Topher's no where near done, so I think you'll like him even more in the coming chapters. And yes, Chris's line was a joke at my own expense. Glad you liked it.
Gucci Mane LaFlare: Thanks! I will do my best to keep this series from dying. I'm glad you like Topher, it's been a while since I've done such an active antagonist. Yeah, I've been really mean to Justin this season, but it's just too funny to stop. Eh Courtney's not really doing it to get Olivia focused on the game, just trying to keep her team from falling apart.
Remaining All-Stars:
Heroic Horses: Brick, Contessa, Izzy, Owen
Villainous Vipers: Courtney, Geoff, Justin, Katie, Olivia, Topher
This show is Korean toward disaster. Get it? Korean.. it sounds like careening. Eh, so what if my joke failed? No one reads this part anyway. I could say whatever I wanted and no one would notice. Watch. Boobies!
Episode 07: Hey, Seoul Sister
"Last time, on Total Drama All-Stars 2!" Chris opened, the recap montage beginning with a long-distance shot of the cast assembled in a geyser field. "Iceland. Come for the scenery," the host said over a shot of Katie and Geoff in their hot-air balloon, "stay for the fighting!" Chris added as Olivia was shown shield-bashing Izzy.
"Especially for Contessa," Chris said as the hopeless romantic was shown squaring off against Justin, "who not only had to deal with the challenge," she buried the blade of her axe in Justin's crotch, "but thanks to Topher," the instigator was shown talking to Jasmine in episode five, "she also had to deal with Jasmine's uncontrolled rage." The amazon was shown refusing the offer of a truce, then arguing with Contessa in the hot air balloon, and finally charging after her during the second challenge.
"In the end," he continued over a shot of the two girls glaring at each other while waiting for the final marshmallow, "Jasmine wound up getting the boot," the amazon was shown being tossed out of the plane. "But Contessa seems to have discovered Topher's mind games," the hopeless romantic's final confessional was shown.
The recap ended and the scene moved to the cockpit. "Six All-Stars down! Ten to go!" Chris told the camera. "Who will make it out this next battle alive, and who will stink it up like fermented cabbage? Find out right now, on Total! Drama! All-Stars! 2!"

[The sequence opens exactly as it did in season three, with a tilted shot of a stagelight swinging up and turning on in front of an airport control tower, followed by another light popping out of an overhead compartment along with a pair of oxygen masks; then a camera forcibly ejecting a raccoon from a wing engine and another camera bursting out of a suitcase, sending undergarments flying. A pair of white-skinned arms clap a film slate in front of the camera, which then flies down the aisle of first class seats. It passes a drink cart, then forces Chris McLean to jump to the side as the camera flies into the cockpit.]
Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doin' fine;
[Chef Hatchet is piloting the plane in its cockpit, bobbleheads of himself and the host sitting on the control panel. For a single frame he turns his head and glares at the camera before it passes through the windshield and out onto the runway, the silhouette of the CN Tower visible in the distance as the camera flies over and through several baggage tugs.]
You guys are on my mind!
[Fading through the whiteness of a baggage cart, the camera emerges close to the CN Tower. The camera flies up along it, the sun shining bright at its peak. The scene arcs downward towards a lake, and speeds forward into it with a splash.]
Ya asked me what I wanted to be,
[The bubbles from the splash fade to show Owen floating underwater seemingly naked. He notices his swim trunks float past him and covers his crotch with a blush on his face, and the camera pans up to the surface.]
And now I think the answer is plain to see!
[On the roof of the cabin of a boat woven from reeds, Dawn is meditating in lotus position.]
I wanna be...famous!
[The camera pans down and to the right to where Olivia is frantically paddling the boat as crocodiles leap out of the water on either side and snap their jaws. The boat leaves the screen, and on 'be' one of the reptiles winces; the camera moves back to the boat, revealing that it had crashed into an inflatable raft that Contessa was standing on. The raft begins to sink, and Olivia quickly grabs her into a fierce hug. The two girls blush and separate just as quickly.]
I wanna live close to the sun!
[The camera flashes to the a snow-capped mountain, immediately cutting to the top it as Brick climbs up from the side, then wipes the sweat from his brow as he helps Courtney reach the summit.]
Well pack your bags, 'cause I've already won!
[The couple stop with shock on their faces as Izzy suddenly runs past. The wildcard blindly runs straight into Jasmine, and the two tumble off the other side of the mountain.]
Everythin' to prove,
[The camera quick-pans to Mitch standing in an open field on Pahkitew Island. He catches Jasmine in his arms and gently sets her down, and she kisses him on the cheek as Izzy lands on the ground behind them.]
Nothin' in my way; I'll get there one day.
[Another pan to the right shows Topher watching with a devious expression. He rubs his hands in anticipation, only for a furry paw to quickly tap him on the shoulder. The camera pans to Scuba Bear glaring at the instigator, who promptly runs away. On the bear's other side, Terrance begins to laugh...]
'Cause I wanna be...famous!
[...Scuba Bear then turns to glare at Terrance instead, even roaring at the boy and chasing him off. The camera zooms in on a mountain in the background, and flashes over to Geoff and Katie walking down the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The party dude turns to the right and screams and the two run away, a large number of fans chasing them away.]
(Na-na nanananaa, nanana-nanaa, na-nananananaa)
[Justin and B were next, the genius driving a speedboat and the model waterskiing behind him. They speed up and out of frame and the camera shakes for a moment. The shot pans to the right to show that the boys had ran into another speedboat driven by Sasquatchanakwa, Justin now face-down in his and B's boat. The yeti makes a hand gesture that had to be censored and the camera pans up to the sky.]
I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous! (Na-na nanananaa, nanana-nanaa, na-nananananaa)
[The jet flies right past a Mayan pyramid, causing whole structure to fall apart; the jet flies over Cristo Redentor in Rio de Janero, startling a priest into crossing himself; the jet flies trough the air and the camera pans down.]
I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous! (Na-na nanananaa, nanana-nanaa, na-nananananaa)
[The pan ends on a zoomed out shot of the swim-dressed all-stars lined up on eight platforms according to their teams – the villains holding red dueling sticks on the left of each platform, the heroes holding gold dueling sticks on the right. The camera zooms in and moves between them as they clash – smirking Courtney against smirking Brick; smug Topher being shoved in the water by a smiling Mitch; vain Justin holding off a confused Owen with one hand as he admired his own reflection in a hand mirror; Geoff thrusting eagerly but being easily blocked by an unimpressed Jasmine; Katie smirking darkly as she easily knocked Dawn into the water; Olivia being knocked away by a maniacally grinning Izzy; Terrance evenly matched with B, both boys smirking competitively; and Rebecca evilly smirking as she slammed her stick against a terrified Contessa, the top pieces of the padding suddenly catching fire and making both girls look up in surprise.]
[The lyrics end and a guitar is strummed as the camera zooms in on the two flames as they flare together, and the last few whistling notes play. The fires peter out to show the cast lined up and most of them smiling at the camera, the jet behind them. Mitch is on the far left end; to the right are Jasmine, B, Owen, Terrance, Geoff, Justin, Topher and Rebecca. In front of them are Dawn, Olivia, Contessa, Katie, Courtney, and Brick. Rebecca has her back turned to the camera as the song ends, spray-painting a '2' at the end of the 'Total Drama All-Stars' logo on the side of the jet, then turns and winks at the camera.]

The episode opened with a shot of the Jumbo Jet in flight before flashing to loser class. "Man, I can't believe we're back here again," Izzy complained as the camera focused on her and Owen. "We seriously need to stop losing okay? The butt divot I left in one of the recliners could be erased by now!"
"Then there's the fact that we're outnumbered," Brick pointed out from across the room. "Making it harder for any of us to win."
"I still can't believe we haven't won anything in three days," Owen said. "I mean, our team has the better players, right?"
"There is a lack of athleticism in the Vipers," Brick said, "but as I can personally attest, that doesn't matter in this game."
"But still," Izzy said. "There's gotta be a way we can win this right?"
Brick rubbed his chin in thought. "I can't say for certain until we actually know the challenge. But if we're lucky it's something that'll give the advantage to the smaller team.
"Like another race!" Owen piped up before frowning. "Though we haven't done well there either..." He shrugged. "Well at least we won't have to deal with infighting anymore."
Owen and Izzy continued chatting to themselves. Their teammate, however, pursed his lips and the camera zoomed in on his look of quiet contemplation.
XXX
"It's true we won't be fighting as much," Brick confessed. "But looking at the way of things I'm the new Jasmine." He blushed. "That is to say, next to go home if we lose."
XXX
The static took the scene to the cargo hold, and panned to the right onto Contessa looked around. She smiled, then hid behind a crate.
XXX
"Standing up to Jasmine really improved my confidence," Contessa told the confessional. "Now I'm gonna finally see what the deal with Liv is. I already know she's not in first class."
"Not because I stalked her or anything," she clarified hastily. "I just... took a quick peek. Anyway, there's only three places you can really go on this plane and the hold is the only one I haven't checked."

The music turned tense as Olivia poked her head in the entryway and looked around. She sighed in relief, then walked inside with her head down.
The camera followed her a bit until she walked into something with a grunt. She looked up to see Contessa with her arms behind her back and leaning forward slightly. "Hi Liv," she said brightly.
The music rose suddenly as Olivia sputtered in surprise. "T-tessa! But? What are you-"
"You've been avoiding me," she answered with a pout. "I wanna know why."
"Pfft, I don't know what you're talking about," Olivia scoffed, making an obvious effort to not look in her direction. "I've been perfectly normal."
Contessa folded her arms in front of her and frowned. "So that's what you're going with? I'm not letting you leave until we talk about the kiss."
"There's nothing to talk about," Olivia said definitively. "It was a mistake and we should move on."
"You're lying," Contessa accused.
"Well what do you want me to say?!" Olivia snapped.
"I want you to tell me what's going on!" Contessa snapped back.
"What's going on is that I LOVE YOU!" Olivia shouted, shocking them both. "I love you," she whispered with tears in her eyes. "And you don't love me back. You can't love me back and it hurts."
"What-" Contessa started.
"I saw you with Dawn," Olivia said sadly. "You two make a cute couple. I don't want to get in the way of that."
"I don't like Dawn," Contessa said. "I like you."
"No you don't," the actress lamented. "That's impossible."
Contessa put her hands on her hips. "And why's that?"
"Because," Olivia said, the tears finally flowing. "My own parents don't even love me. So how could you?" She wrapped her arms around Contessa and began to sob. "How could anyone? I'm worthless!"
"Not to me," Contessa whispered as she hugged the crying actress tighter and stroked her hair. "Never to me."
XXX
"I admit it," Olivia confessed. "Mommy and Daddy don't care about me. I tried to ignore it," she laughed bitterly. "I even told myself that it was my fault for failing at my career. Might as well admit that too. But I was never their daughter, just a meal ticket."
XXX
"I like to think of myself as a nice girl," Contessa seethed. "But every time I hear about Liv's parents I'm filled with what could only be described as murderous anger. The idea that people could treat their kids like that make me sick."
XXX
"We should get out of here," Olivia said as she sniffed and wiped her nose, her eyes red. "My team is starting to get suspicious and I'm pretty sure yours is too."
"Well we got rid of the main reason for that," Contessa said, "but you're right. And don't think I'm letting you off the hook," she warned. "We're going to finish this talk."
The actress sighed. "I figured."
"Good," Contessa smiled before leaning in and kissing Olivia on the cheek. "I'll see you after the challenge."
Olivia's face turned beet red and she sputtered some more. "I, uh... Villains," she said lamely before running off.
"I think that may have been too much," the hopeless romantic worried.
\
The footage flashed to first class meeting table, where most of the Vipers were enjoying their breakfast. Olivia walked by the front of the table with a wary look and a plate of fruit in her hands.
Courtney huffed, earning an odd look from Katie. "Nice of you to finally join us," she said. "Where were you?"
"That's none of your business," the actress snapped. "But if you have to know, I like to spend time away from you losers to keep myself sane."
"Attention All-Stars!" Chris called out without warning over the plane's intercoms. "Please prepare for our decent into our next exciting destination!"
\
The scene cut to the series' world map as the plane icon flew eastward from Iceland all the way to the Korean Peninsula, set to a dramatic tune.
\
A military drumline began to play as the camera flashed cut away to the host, now in army helmet and sunglasses. "At ease, soldiers!" he saluted the contestants. The camera pulled back to show them once again in a jungle of sorts. "Welcome to South Korea! Home to one of the US Military's most humiliating defeats during the Cold War and probably the only country they let fall to the communists."
"Uhh, you're talking about Vietnam," Olivia spoke up. "Not Korea."
"Do you think we meant to do this challenge in Vietnam but couldn't think of a punny title so we just moved it to Korea?" the host snapped. "Well we didn't! The interns could've just screwed up the research. It's happened before!"
"Well if we weren't thinking that before," Katie said, "we are now."
"Moving on," Chris said forcefully said, pursing his lips and narrowing his eyes at the teens.
"Today were working with one of my favorite challenges," he continued, pausing to laugh in delighted anticipation, and Courtney, Geoff, and Topher shared a wary look. "Get ready for a not-so-mock battle between the teams." Another military drumline began to play as the female intern wheeled a flatscreen into view.
"There are two weapon caches hidden in the jungle," he said as a close-up of the television showed a panning live feed of a rather nondescript patch of jungle. The feed soon cut to static, and was replaced by an image of a crate against a radiant background. "Both are filled with state-of-the-art paintball weaponry," the crate on the opened itself and moments later a large, high-tech paintball gun rose from within it.
Brick, Owen, and Izzy were shown perking up excitedly while Contessa sagged in disappointment. "Once you get armed," the host explained as the shot cut to pensive Justin next to eager Geoff and Courtney, "then it's time to engage the competition.
"This is gonna be awesome," Owen cheered.
"You get one point for each opponent you splatter," Chris explained. "First team to ten wins, and, one of the losers will get a dishonorable discharge tonight. Toss-o-shame style," he told them with a pair of mischievous finger pistols.
"And now for the cruel twist," Geoff said.
"Oh yeah, that," Chris said, his smile wider than ever. "Two things! First, this isn't an elimination game. If you get hit, just keep going. It encourages the guerrilla warfare this time period was known for. Second, be on the lookout for undetonated mines and traps. It's a real problem in this area."
XXX
"Traps? Mines?" Justin repeated in shock. "I thought Pahkitew was dangerous, but it doesn't even come close to this! What if I mess up my face? Or my hands? Or my anything?" he asked the camera in deep concern, pointing to his face with both hands.
XXX
"Both teams get maps to their caches," the host continued as he held up two scraps of paper. However, as winners of yesterday's challenge," Chris said, "the Villains get a full one-minute head start and the map to the closer cache."
The shot cut to the two teams as the four Heroes groaned while their more favored six opponents cheered.
"Ready?" Chris asked as the camera moved back to him and Chef, the larger man now holding a pistol the same purple color as the leeches. "Set!" Chef raised his pistol and fired it as fast-paced challenge music rapidly rose up in the background. the aforementioned intern was shown eying the fired projectile with suspicion, only to get hit in the stomach with the green paintball and scowl at her bosses.
A timer counting down from 1:00 appeared on the television, and the camera pulled back from it as the whooping and hollering Vipers ran past.
"Okay, I can not be the only one to see how messed up this is," Izzy griped. "They're up two players, and they have a head start to get to the guns? Are you trying to hand them another win?" she asked the host.
Chris shrugged. "Hey, just think of it as motivation to stop sucking," he answered scathingly. "Seriously, you guys are the Heroes! You're supposed to always triumph in the end!"
"So what you're saying," Brick said, "is that you're going to keep stacking the deck against us if we lose, making it even harder for us to win?"
"Yeah, kinda," the host said forcefully, earning another round of complaints from the four Heroes.
When it died down, Owen sighed. "Look, guys," he turned to his teammates, "I know things seem bad, but if we work together we can win this. Who's with me?"
"Yeah!" Brick and Izzy raised their arms and cheered.
"Hey, not that I'm trying to be defeatist or anything," Contessa said, "but we're still at a pretty big disadvantage right now."
The shot cut back to the widescreen television as the timer counted down to 0:04. "Heroes," Chris called out as the camera panned to him and Chef, "you're up in three!" Chef raised his paint-gun. "Two! One!"
A gunshot rang through the air, and the shot pulled back to refocus on the Heroic Horses beginning their race into the woods.
\
"Alright, time to crush those Heroes!" Topher cheered as the scene cut to the Villainous Vipers.
"How much further 'til we reach the guns anyway?" Justin spoke up from the back of the group with Olivia.
"We're almost there," Courtney answered, the shot panning ahead to her, Geoff and Katie. "And don't get ahead of yourselves. We're pretty much guaranteed to lose if we get too cocky."
"I can't believe I'm about to say this," Olivia huffed. "But I agree with Courtney."
\
The camera flashed to the four Heroes running through the jungle. Brick was in the lead holding the map, followed by Izzy, Contessa, and Owen. "Okay, looks like we're almost there," the cadet said. "Let's double-time it."
"Sounds good to me," Contessa told him with a thumbs up.
"Go Horses!" Izzy cheered as she and her teammates were shown racing down the path ahead of them.
"We totally got this!" Owen added.
\
"Hey, so," Katie asked as she slowed down to match pace with Olivia, "don't panic, but I overheard your conversation with Contessa this morning. Be careful Justin doesn't find out."
"I swear if you say anything-" Olivia warned.
The hot-blooded girl cut her off. "I'm not. But if you want my opinion, you two are really cute together." She walked off, leaving a furiously blushing actress in her wake.
XXX
"It's bad enough I've got Topher on my back," Olivia complained. "But Katie knowing about us is too much. What if she suddenly decides to act like a Villain again? Or worse, what if Topher finds out about this morning?" she panicked.
"I have to protect Contessa from them no matter what!" she declared.
XXX
The scene cut to a large open area where one of the weapon crates stood.
"Alright, we're here!" Izzy called out as she and Brick led the other Heroes into the clearing.
Brick was the first to reach their crate, but it was Izzy who gleefully leaped over it to pry the lid off and land painfully on her back on the other side. Only sparing her a moment's glance, Brick reached into the crate and pulled out a paintball gun. "Now this is a paintball gun!" he cheered.
"I just hope I'm better with this than I was with the slingshot last season," Contessa said, picking up a gun of her own.
\
A triumphant tune played as the scene cut back to the Villains gathered around their crate. "If you'd kindly do the honors?" Courtney asked.
The camera cut to a close-up of the side of their crate, pulling back as Geoff kicked it hard enough for the paneling to fall apart, revealing the weaponry within.
"I hope nothing gets in my hair this time," Justin whined.
"If I were you I'd be more worried about the hair gel seeping into your brain and making you dumber," Olivia quipped.
"They can't happen," the model said before widening his eyes. "Can it?"
"I don't think you have anything to worry about," Katie told him.
Justin smiled, but frowned soon after hearing Geoff snicker. "Hey-"
XXX
"If I'm so dumb," Justin asked the confessional. "How come I just came up with a brilliant plan to get rid of you? Answer that Katie."
XXX
"Dude, she can't hear you," Chris laughed, the scene moving to him viewing the confessional footage on one of several monitors in his quarters on the plane. He paused the feed, then turned to face the camera as the capstone theme began to play. "Somehow, both teams made to their crates at the same time, but, which team will actually win? Find out when we come back, on Total! Drama! All-Stars! 2!"
\
(Commercial Break)
\
The episode resumed with the opening of a tense tune, the camera following a rustling behind some shrubs until Brick crept out into the open. "Alright," he whispered to himself as the shot cut in closer, "no sign of the enemy out front. Better start watching out behind me...," as he spoke, he heard a twig snapping and immediately turned around to fire.
A pan to the right showed Courtney firing her gun, unaware her quarry had spotted her. The screen split in two to show the both teens splattered with their opponent's paint, a red splotch on Brick's arm and a yellow one on Courtney's stomach.
"Aw, come on," Courtney complained. "How'd you find me?"
"You snapped a twig," her boyfriend told her. "Any chance you'll tell me where the others are?"
"No way," the prep told him.
The cadet shrugged. "Worth a shot, see ya Court!" he waved as he dashed off and the camera lingered on Courtney as she shook her head then smiled softly.
"And that's one point each for both the Heroes and Villains," Chris's voice came from nowhere, startling Courtney.
"Where's that coming from?" she asked.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" the host replied with a mocking laugh.
\
The scene moved to a close-up of a white hand, then zoomed out to show it barely holding on to the edge of a pit.
"HELP!" Topher's voice came from within. "There's spikes down here!" the instigator continued. "Somebody! HELP!"
It was then Katie that arrived. She noticed her teammate with a gasp and quickly ran to pull him free. As she pulled him free, they both hit the ground and Topher quickly stood up. "Thank you!" he said. "Hey," he asked. "What's going on with you and Geoff?"
"I think we're dating," she answered while rubbing her back. "But I'm not sure if it counts if we haven't actually gone on a date yet."
"That's a tough one," he admitted. "Well we should probably leave before-" two yellow splotches suddenly hit them and Izzy's maniacal laughter rang through the air.
"...that happens," Topher finished.
"The score is now three to one in favor of the Heroes!" Chris announced.
"Seriously?" Katie asked in disbelief as she stood up.
"Come on," Topher said, picking his gun off the ground. "I think she went this way." He ran off to the left, and Katie followed him a moment later.
XXX
"It'll be tricky," Topher told the confessional, "finding a way to get rid of Katie. My best bet is making sure there's no tie. But how to do that without revealing myself?"
XXX
A flash took the scene to Contessa, walking by herself through the jungle carrying her gun. The camera cut in closer as she sighed sadly. "I know I said I was gonna find out what the deal was with Liv...," she told herself, "and I did. But," she sighed again, "something just doesn't feel right."
She stopped walking, and looked around with a rather blank expression. "I probably shouldn't have forced the issue like that. And I really shouldn't have kissed her," she said to herself as she resumed walking. "Even if my stomach gets all fluttery whenever I think about it," she said with a happy smile as she looked down.
A dull note played as the shot cut outward, and she quickly shook herself out of her daze. "Focus Contessa. You're in the middle of a challenge." The hopeless romantic stopped and sighed again. "All I can do right now is try not to lose hope for the best," she said with a determined expression as she looked forward again and resumed walking... only to be hit with a red splotch of paint.
"Three to two!" Chris announced. "Heroes still lead!"
\
Another flash moved the focus to Izzy, a light and methodical tune playing as she crept silently along a patch of underbrush with her gun raised and ready to shoot. The shot cut to her tiptoeing feet, then to her darting eyes, and then back outward as she suddenly spotted a bush rustling off to the right.
With a fierce battle cry she charged forward, the camera following alongside her as the music spiked dramatically. As she reached the bush Owen rose out of it, yelling and ready to fire as well.
They, and the music, stopped when they saw each other.
"Oh," Izzy said in relief, wiping her brow and smiling. "It's you."
"Sorry for scaring you, Izzy," Owen told her, lowering his arm as he stepped out of the bush. "I thought you were someone from the other team."
"Don't worry about it," Izzy smirked and laughed, giving him a playful nudge. "I mean, I thought you were the enemy too! Or worse my ex! But boy am I glad I was wrong..."
"Your ex?" Owen asked as the shot cut to his close-up.
"Oh yeah," Izzy replied from off-screen, prompting a dopey grin to form on Owen's face as she rambled on. "Guy's like seriously obsessed with me. Convinced that because we were married in a past life that means we should be together all the time, but I'm my own woman y'know. I.. uh" Izzy continued, only to stop when she noticed Owen's look. She smiled and looked away to hide her blush.
XXX
"How can someone so weird be so pretty?" Owen asked the confessional.
XXX
"No one should be allowed to be that hot," Izzy complained."
XXX
The two were still staring dreamily at each other as the static cut away. "Uhh...," Izzy said bashfully, no longer hiding her face but not looking directly at Owen. "We should go look for the other team." she said before her eyes widened and then narrowed. She turned around and fired three different shots and the camera cut to Katie, Olivia, and Justin each with a yellow splotch on their torsos.
"Great ambush Justin," Olivia spat.
"And the Heroes' lead continues to rise. It's now six to two!"
\
"Alright," Courtney told Geoff as the scene moved to them walking through a different part of the jungle. "Let's split up to, cover more ground," she suggested as they paused between two trees. "Not too much ground, in case one of us gets in trouble, but enough to make it easier to spot one of the Heroes and get them before they see us. Got it?"
"Pfft, that's easy!" Geoff said, waving his gun around absentmindedly. "Those Horses are goin' down." With that the two parted ways – Courtney off to the left, Geoff back to the right.
The camera remained focused on the party dude, the background music becoming tense as he found a tree to lean against.
A twig snapped nearby causing him to jump a little and gasp, raising his gun with a smirk. He cocked his gun and looked around– first to the left, and then back around to the right.
The camera moved down onto the twig that had broke with the offending foot still on it, and a pan up revealed its owner as Contessa. "Aww crap," she swore in wide-eyed panic, wildly looking around in panic and trying to aim her gun at everything.
Geoff came out from behind his tree still sporting his smirk, but Contessa saw him in her panic. She screamed and opened fire on him. The background music became hectic as the shot focused on the hopeless romantic continuously firing her gun at thr party dude, screaming in near terror the whole time. She finally stopped when her gun produced only clicks.
"Did I get him?" she asked herself.
The camera cut to a tree with a large yellow patch on it. It seemed to open its eyes, earning a shout of surprise form Contessa, then stepped forward to reveal a yellow silhouette of Geoff with a similarly shaped outline behind him. "Yeah," he said. "You did."
Contessa smiled. "Well that-"
She was interrupted when a paintball hit her arm, causing her to drop her gun in surprise. "Well it was useless anyway."
"Hah!" Courtney barked out a laugh, drawing both other all-stars' attention to the left. The shot cut to her as she emerged from the bushes, a smug smile on her face. "That's another point for us," she told Contessa before turning a sly smile towards Geoff. "And great job distracting her," she told him with a mocking smile. "Not what I was expecting, but I can't argue with the results."
Geoff narrowed his eyes. "Ha ha," he said sarcastically.
"Seven to Four!" Chris announced. "The Villains might wanna start trying at some point."
XXX
"Just because I helped him with Katie doesn't mean I've forgiven him for all the crap he put me through last time," Courtney confessed. "I'm a team player, but I'm still human."
XXX
The scene flashed to Contessa, looking back over her shoulder as she ran through the jungle. She stopped to rest against a tree, then looked up as she heard someone running over. "Don't shoot! I'm unarmed!" she yelped
"Did you really think that was gonna stop a Villain?" Olivia asked as the shot pulled back to show her with her hands on her hips.
"Well, kinda," Contessa replied sheepishly. "Listen Liv-" she started.
"After the challenge," the actress interrupted. "Too many prying eyes out here."
"But-" Contessa tried to say, but Olivia was already gone. She sighed and started to walk away, only for the ground beneath her to suddenly explode. Thoroughly singed, she let out a weak cough before hitting the ground.
XXX
"Great," Contessa told the confessional camera. "Just great. I just ruined my chances with Liv. And our whole friendship on top of that."
XXX
"I've got to find a way to get Topher and Katie to target each other," Olivia said to herself as she walked through yet another part of the jungle. "Then Geoff will target Topher..." she continued and tapped her chin. "That could work."
A red paintball suddenly hit the ground in front of her, forcing her to gasp and jump back a step then turn her gun in the direction of the projectile.
"Whoops! Sorry about that," Topher said running out of the trees and immediately stopping upon seeing the actress's glare.
"Topher! What was that for?" Olivia asked accusingly.
"Hey," the instigator defended himself. "I'm trying to win the challenge. But we're so far behind I figured I'd just shoot first and ask questions later."
Olivia sighed. "And if there's a penalty for friendly fire?"
Topher shrugged. "Chris never said there was one, just a point for each hit." He was promptly hit with a red paintball.
"Seven to Five!" Chris's voice rang out. "But I'm only allowing that trick once!" he added as a warning.
XXX
"And here I thought I'd have to strain the Contessa card to get today's elimination working," Topher smirked.
XXX
The shot cut in close as Topher put an arm around Olivia's shoulders and pulled her close. "Now considering you just shot your own teammate without knowing if it'd count against us," he started. "I'd say you're in just a bit of trouble."
Olivia shoved him away with enough force to knock him down. "Don't. Touch. Me." she warned him darkly.
"Yeesh," Topher scowled as he stood up. "I'm trying to help you here. In exchange for my silence I want you to help me give Katie the boot."
Unseen by Topher, Olivia smirked. "Fine," she sighed. "I guess I don't have a choice."
"Nice to see you understand how this game works," the instigator smirked. Both Villains were startled by Izzy suddenly appearing and shooting them both in the stomach.
"Are you kidding me?!" Olivia screeched. "This top is dry clean only!"
"Nine to Five!" Chris announced.
\
"Alright," Brick said to himself, the scene cutting to him standing alone in the jungle with his gun slung over his shoulder. "No enemy sightings means this area's secure. Time to search another quadrant." The shot cut outward as he looked around one last time before nodding towards the right. "Haha," he laughed to himself as he began to march off, "won't I look the fool if someone passes through here the moment I leave."
The camera promptly panned back to the left to show Geoff creeping out of the bushes. He glanced to the right in the direction Brick had gone, nodded, then walked off to the left.
As soon as he left the scene the bushes rustled, and Owen crawled out from them on all fours with his butt crack showing. He giggled to himself then crawled after Geoff.
\
The music rapidly became tense again as the scene flashed back to Contessa running and screaming through the jungle. As she looked back over her shoulder the shot panned back to show Courtney still chasing her. "You can't run forever!" the prep yelled.
"You're underestimating my cowardice!" Contessa replied, her breathing becoming heavy.
The shot cut outward to show the two girls, and as Courtney drew closer and closer to her prey and the camera slowly zoomed in.
Courtney raised her gun to fire, but just before she could Izzy popped out of a nearby bush and fired. She missed, and Courtney quickly turned her weapon on the wildcard.
"Hah!" Courtney laughed triumphantly. "Now for-"
A dull noted played as the shot cut to where Contessa was just standing, then back to Courtney gaping in shock. "Where'd she go?!"
"Hey," Izzy spoke up. "So like, if you don't wanna get shot, you might wanna run."
Courtney took the Hero's advice and ran off, and Izzy facepalmed. "I probably shouldn't have told her that." She shrugged. "Oh well."
"Nine to six!" Chris announced. "The Villains are catching up."
\
"Okay, we can still turn this around," Justin whispered to himself as the scene cut back to a close-up of him creeping through the woods, clutching his weapon and looking around anxiously. "I-"
A branch snapped, Justin stiffened, and the camera pulled back. "Who's there?" he asked, and the intense challenge music resumed.
"The Mighty Hunter, that's who!" Owen declared, standing up out of a bush and firing at Justin. The model ducked with a yelp and the paintball splattered against a tree.
"What the-?" was all Owen could say before confusion before confusion gave way to disappointment as a he was hit in the back with a red paintball.
"Woohoo!" Geoff cheered, raising his arms in celebration as the camera cut to him. "I am the man!"
The camera panned to the right as the music became ominous, and Katie rose out of the bushes with a smirk on her face. "Let's even things up!" the Latina declared, hitting Owen in the arm with a paintball just as he turned around.
"Nuts...," Owen said, drooping in disappointment as looked at the red splotch.
All at once the shot cut out, the music spiked, and Justin stood up and fired as well. This one hitting Owen in the chest.
"Aww, come on!" the optimist said in frustration, gesturing to the red paint that had splattered his shirt. He fired his gun at Justin, but achieved the same effect as before. By the time he turned to where Geoff and Katie were, they had already left
"And a massive team-up leads to the game being all tied up," Chris announced. "Next point wins the whole thing!"
\
The footage flashed ahead to a shot of a waterfall from a distance, before cutting in closer to show Owen bending over the edge of its pool and drinking from it
A rustling sound drew his attention to the right.
"There you are," Olivia said as the shot panned over to her arriving at the pool, "let's get this over with. I already spent way too much time running around out here as it is, and I am sick of this challenge."
Owen stared at her blankly for a moment. "Yeah, okay," he smiled and nodded. "So, umm, how do you wanna-"
"Shut up," the actress said aggressively as she charged forward with her gun raised, "this ends here!"
She started screaming and fired, forcing Owen to shout and jump away as a paintball hit the ground with a splat. "W-wait!' the optimist pleaded as he turned and fled, disappearing off-camera to the left with Olivia soon following after. Both teens soon ran back in to the foreground, Owen looking desperately over his shoulder. "I just wanted to ask for your autograph!"
Olivia growled. "I'm not falling for that. I know none of you losers care about-"
She was hit in the chest with a paintball.
Olivia dropped her gun, and her eyes shifted over to the left in utter shock and horror.
Owen burst into raucous laughter. "I can't believe you fell for that!"
The camera jumped outward to a full shot of the jungle as Olivia's rage-filled scream filled the air, startling a flock of birds into flight.
At the end of it, Chris announced "Game over! The Heroic Horses finally win a challenge!"
\
A flash took the scene ahead to the cargo hold. The camera panned a little to the right and zoomed in slightly, cutting to Contessa waiting in front of a large crate. She looked around for a moment with a nervous expression which worsened when Olivia finally arrived from the left, looking rather nervous herself.
"Liv, I am so sorry about-" Contessa started to say.
Olivia cut her off with a sigh. "I'm not mad at you," she said. "You forced me to admit a really hard truth, but I'm not mad."
Contessa opened her mouth, but Olivia cut her off.
"However," she continued. "I think my outburst this morning proved that I have issues to work through before I try anything romantic. Can we just stay friends for now?
Contessa's face fell into stunned disappointment. "Yeah, that probably seems smart. But maybe we could be friends who occasionally kiss when the mood is right?" she asked hopefully.
"Tessa," Olivia warned.
"Sorry," the hopeless romantic said. "I'm overstepping agai-"
The music turned light and fluttery as once again she was cut off by the actress. This time with a kiss to the lips. Contessa's eyes widened in surprise, but she returned it all the same.
"On second thought," Olivia said bashfully, her face completely red. "Maybe we just let things happen and not try to put a label on it?"
"Yeah," Contessa said with a blush of her own. "I like that idea."
\
The scene moved to Olivia approaching Courtney. "Let me guess," the prep began as the actress folded her arms and tapped her foot, "You here to keep me from voting for you."
"Yes," Olivia said bluntly. "You may not like me, or trust me," she said, "but if you do this for me then I'll owe you. And isn't that more valuable in the long term."
"One condition," Courtney said. "That girl you're crushing on? I want an alliance with her when the teams merge."
"But what if she doesn't make it?" Olivia asked.
"Then you better find a way to make sure she does shouldn't you?"
Olivia huffed "Fine." she said, before walking away.
XXX
"This stupid game should be about halfway over by now," Courtney told the confessional. "So it's time to make sure I can make it past the first merge elimination. You can never be too prepared."
XXX
"Hey Geoff," Olivia hissed as she walked over to the party dude and Katie alone in loser class. "I'm here to warn you about Topher and Courtney."
"What about them?" Katie asked suspiciously.
"They're working together," the actress lied effortlessly. "I overheard them talking about sending Katie home."
"And we should believe you why?" Geoff asked.
"I don't care if you do or don't," Olivia said. "I'm not the one in danger tonight."
XXX
"You shouldn't have threatened Contessa Courtney," Olivia warned the confessional. "I'll make you and Topher pay for that one."
XXX
The scene cut to the elimination chamber "Alright, players!" Chris said to the Villains seated in the bleachers. "It's been a while since you've been here, so let me refresh you. Vote by crossing out the photo of the All-Star you wanna eliminate. And I'll hand out marshmallows accordingly. Whoever doesn't get a marshmallow gets the boot."
\
"And now for the votes," Chris said as the footage flashed ahead. "Courtney, Topher, and Geoff, you three are safe." The camera cut to each Villain as they received their marshmallow. "Justin, you're safe too," the model grinned at receiving his prize.
"Katie, Olivia, one of you is going home tonight," the host continued as the music began to trill. "Olivia, one could argue that you cost your team the win." The shot cut from Chris to the bottom two, and the actress glared intensely. "And Katie...not gonna lie, not sure why you're getting votes. But it's not my job to know."
"Anyway," Chris said, folding his hands behind his back and smiling as the music began to rise, "it doesn't matter. Olivia, you're safe. Katie, you're out."
The Hot-Blooded stood up with a cry of shock. "Me? But why me?"
Her only answer was Chef grabbing her arm. The footage cut to the outside of the plane as Katie was tossed outside, landing on her side with a grunt. "Wait!" she cried. "At least let me say goodbye to Geoff!"
"Here's a map to the nearest airport," Chris told her. "See ya! Wouldn't wanna be ya!
XXX
"Courtney..." Geoff growled.
XXX
"Nine players remain," Chris told the camera as it cut to him and Chef in the cockpit and the capstone theme began to play, "but only one goes home with a million dollars. Find out who's next to be discharged next time on, Total! Drama! All-Stars! 2!"

(Bonus Clip)
"She did try to warn me," Katie said as she traveled through the jungle. "So I can't be too mad. At least I finally fixed things with Geoff," she smiled. "But it's still sad losing a million dollars like that."
"Ooh I wonder if Olivia ever worked things out with Contessa," she stopped and pondered. "I mean, I never really would've guessed those two but now once I saw it, it was just so cute. She's so vulnerable around her."
"Well, at least I'll get to see Sadie again, I've really missed her.." she trailed off as she left the camera's viewpoint.
Author's Note Post Script: So it s that we say goodbye to Katie. Honestly her character has become one of my favorites over the course of the series but with her and Geoff officially together, I think it's safe to tie off her arc and this was a pretty good place for her to be sent home.
Oh and Justin's 'brilliant plan'? Ask Topher for help. I swear I'm not purposely making him an idiot. It's just, his whole strategy was just use his looks and without that he's just lost when it comes to planning. Of course this fits in with his canon portrayal which I actually rather enjoyed. You just felt sorry for hi by the end of his run there.
Of course the big story today is Olivessa. To be fair, I was going to make them angst for another two episodes and get together when the merge hits, but the whole thing was just starting to drag in my opinion. While they're still not officially together, they've at least stopped denying and/or ignoring their feelings. So the official start might still be when the merge hits
And I know Contessa didn't do anything about Topher, but she's laying low and considering her options. And she was a bit more focused on Olivia. But mainly she was laying low.
Side note, these bonus clips are getting harder and harder to write. I should've don cameos again.
And as always I'm sure I'm forgetting to mention something.
I hope you all enjoyed the episode, or some part of it.
Please stay safe and healthy during these difficult times.
And I'd also like to remind you guys that a TVTropes page for this series does exist and needs you guys adding to it.
With that I'm signing off
