I really appreciate the reviews, thank you so much! This chapter is the shortest one so far, but it has plenty of fluff. I plan on having the next two chapters super fluffy too. Anyway, enjoy! :)

I don't own ATLA or anything else in this story. Don't sue me.

It was still Tuesday and the day was fairly young. It was 5:30 pm and the new couple grew tired of watching How I Met Your Mother.

"Do you want to play Minecraft?" Katara questioned.

"Sure!" Aang said with excitement. He got up and stuck his hand out to help his girlfriend up. She accepted and they intertwined their fingers and walked to Sokka's room. Katara knocked on the door and waited.

"Come in," Sokka replied. Katara opened the door and saw Sokka doing some homework on his desk.

"Can Aang and I play Minecraft," She asked, still a bit nervous.

"Sure," He responded. Katara and Aang smiled and looked at each other. Aang sat at the edge of Sokka's bed while Katara sat on the gaming chair. They grabbed the controllers and started up Minecraft. Once they began playing, Sokka kept looking over his shoulder to look at them playing. Once he had enough of the distraction he decided to get up and do his homework somewhere else.

"I'm going to do homework on your desk, sis. Don't have too much fun in here," He teased. Katara and Aang blushed and nodded. Sokka left and closed the door.

"Aang? Look at what I've been building," Katara said while blushing.

"Okay!" He said with excitement, he quickly ran over to Katara in the game and saw a half-built house.

"This is a nice house! Can I live with you?" Aang said while admiring his girlfriend's work.

"Actually… I was making this for both of us. So, you know... we could live as a couple," She said blushing. Aang looked at her and smiled.

"Wait, so you built this when we were just friends?" Aang asked.

"Yeah… I wanted us to be together so bad. I kinda built a house for us." She said blushing furiously. Aang blushed as well.

"I'm touched, Katara. I love you," He said while entering their Minecraft home.

"I love you too," She replied. After 30 minutes Gran called everyone to the kitchen to eat dinner. Hakoda just got home. Katara and Aang walked into the kitchen and sat down.

"Hey sweetie, I went back to work, but it was pretty slow. So I went to the police to press charges. It's not finished, it's a whole process, but I'll get it done. You don't have to worry." Hakoda said while hugging his daughter. She returned it and sighed deeply.

"Thanks, dad." She replied while pulling away from the hug.

"Are you okay? Are you feeling better?" Hakoda asked in a worried tone. Katara smiled and glanced at Aang.

"I actually feel a lot better. Thanks to Aang," Katara said. Hakoda looked at Aang and gave him a faint smile.

"Are you going to tell him the news, sweetie?" Gran asked with a smirk. Katara and Aang blushed before speaking.

"What news?" Her dad questioned.

"Aang is my boyfriend," Katara said nervously. Her dad's eyes widened.

"Really?" He asked while looking at Aang. Aang nodded while rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

"You and me, outside now." He said sternly. Aang got scared, "Oh no, this isn't good," He thought. Katara's face fell and she grew worried.

"Dad, don't scare him off!," Katara ordered.

"Relax sweetie. I'm just going to talk to him," He said while kissing her forehead and walking towards the front door. Aang followed him and shot a worried glance at his girlfriend before stepping outside. Once they were outside, Hakoda closed the door and saw Aang shaking a little bit and sweat coming down his face.

"Calm down, Aang. I approve, you can relax," Hakoda said with a chuckle. Aang let out a breath and relaxed his muscles.

"I just need to make some things clear," He said sternly. Aang gulped and waited for him to explain.

"I see that Katara is very happy with you, and you're very happy with her. But if you ever break her heart. I will hunt you down and skin you alive. You better take care of her," He threatened. Aang gulped again and felt like he was going to faint from fear.

"Y-yes sir, I-I understand," He said, trying to act confident. Hakoda smiled and patted him on the shoulder before opening the front door and entering. Once they entered, Aang closed the door and tried to regain his composure. They sat down at the dinner table and began eating.

"I told Aang he could spend the night," Gran informed. Hakoda raised an eyebrow.

"I guess that's okay, but I want the door open at all times if you're going to spend time in your room," Her dad ordered.

"That's fair," Katara replied while taking a sip of her water.

"So what are people saying once they saw the police at school?" Katara asked curiously.

"Nothin', I don't think anyone knows what happened," Sokka replied with food still in his mouth.

"Sokka! Chew first and then talk!" Gran ordered. Displeased at her grandson's poor manners. Everyone chuckled except for Sokka and Gran.

"Sorry, but I think the school isn't going to say anything. I think they just might add more security and make the students take a course about consent or something," Sokka said after he finished chewing.

"Don't you think people will still find out?" Aang asked curiously.

"Nah, the school will try their best to keep it under the radar. But I know that they are going to make new rules so this doesn't happen again," Sokka replied.

"How can you be so sure?" Katara questioned.

"I don't know for sure. It's just a guess, but it would be stupidly stupid if they didn't do anything," Sokka said before taking another bite of his food.

"They better do something or else I'll beat the shit out of the principal," Hakoda said sternly.

"Hakoda, language," Gran said in a motherly voice.

"Sorry mom," Hakoda replied, earning a chuckle from his kids and Aang.

"Oh Katara, I almost forgot, my first meet is this Thursday," Aang said with a smile.

"Really? But that's so early." Katara replied.

"Well, it's not really a meet meet, it's more like a scrimmage. It doesn't count toward my stats. The coach just wants to see our race times before the actual meet. I think like 8 other schools are going to be there." Aang informed.

"Well, I'll definitely be there to cheer you on," Katara said with a smile.

"I'm off Thursday so we'll be there too," Hakoda chimed in.

"Really? You don't have to," Aang responded.

"You are a part of us now, Aang. Of course, we'll be there," Gran chimed in. Aang smiled and was grateful that he had more than just Gyatso to cheer him on.

"Thanks. I really appreciate that, I guess now I can't embarrass myself," Aang joked, earning a laugh from everyone.

"It's just running, that's so easy," Sokka teased.

"Running isn't easy Sokka," Katara said, coming to Aang's defense.

"It is easy! anyone can run," Sokka fired back.

"Sokka, if you get in trouble during basketball practice. What does the coach do?" Aang asked. Sokka raised an eyebrow.

"He makes us run," He answered.

"So why would something easy be a punishment?" Aang asked with a smirk.

"B-but running is so… that's… whatever," He said stammering, earning a laugh from everyone.

"Speaking of basketball, how is Aang doing with basketball?" Katara questioned.

"He still sucks, but he's getting better. If we keep this up then I know he can make the team. Maybe even varsity," Sokka said before taking another bite of his food. A thought entered Aang's mind, "Does basketball have chips? I wonder if swimming has any too. They most likely do."

"Hopefully. Hey Katara, how do the chips work with swimming?" Aang asked.

"They're waterproof. Do you have to wear one too?" Katara replied, earning a confused look from Gran.

"What are these chips?" Gran questioned.

"If you're a bender then you have to wear a chip. It's a device that can detect when you bend or not. They make you wear it so they can tell if you cheated." Aang informed, earning an 'ohhhh' from Gran.

"Wait, come to think of it. You cheated when we raced each other!" Aang accused with a smile.

"What?! No, I didn't!" Katara fired back, but she couldn't help but smile.

"Hmmm, you swam really fast and you said if I win then you'll have to run a mile under 6 minutes. Seems kind of fishy." He teased. He knew Katara had integrity and she didn't cheat. He was just pulling her leg.

"I said I would think about it. But I beat you fair and square!" She countered. Earning a chuckle from everyone.

"I was just kidding. I know you beat me fair and square. I just wanted to mess with you." Aang finally confessed.

"You goofball," She said while playfully hitting his shoulder. Hakoda saw the sparkle in her eye and smiled, "She looks so happy. I haven't seen that sparkle since Kya passed away," He thought.

"Wait, did you cheat when we raced? I knew something was off!" Sokka said.

"No Sokka you're just slow," Katara fired back, earning a laugh from everyone.

"I didn't cheat. Airbender's promise," He said while pointing to the arrow on his forehead.

"Hmmm fine," Sokka replied. Sokka finished eating his food and so did everyone else. Katara and Aang got up and went to Katara's room.

"Remember, the door stays open at all times," Hakoda ordered in a stern voice.

"Okay, relax. It'll stay open," Katara responded before they entered the room and flopped on the bed together. The door was wide open like her dad ordered.

"So what do you want to do for your first sleepover?" Katara asked with a smile.

"I don't know. What do you usually do at this time?" Aang asked curiously. Katara thought for a moment while speaking.

"Most likely homework, but after that, it gets pretty boring. I'll either text Mai or Suki for a while," Katara responded while scooted closer to her boyfriend. Aang blushed and took the hint. He wrapped him around her waist as Katara rested her head on his chest.

"Oh, well I would most likely be chasing momo around the house because he stole some of my food. I swear that lemur is so sneaky." Aang said with a chuckle, earning a giggle from his girlfriend.

"That lemur is just too cute," She said while resting her right hand on Aang's stomach.

"Yeah. Anyway, is there anything you want to do?" Aang asked while looking at his girlfriend. It looked like she was lost in thought, "I can feel his abs through his shirt. They feel amazing. Maybe if I just…" She thought while biting her lip. She lightly grabbed Aang's shirt and pulled it towards her. Exposing his stomach, she then rested hand back on his stomach, skin on skin. Aang blushed furiously and didn't know what to do. "What is she doing?" He thought. Aang felt her softly feeling the grooves of his six-pack.

"I-I.. umm what are you d-doing Katara?" Aang asked, barely above a whisper. It snapped Katara from her thoughts and she immediately retracted her hand and blushed furiously. Her face was so red, it seemed like it would explode.

"Oh! N-nothing. I-I… I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me," She said, nervously. Aang chuckled and thought, "I'm so happy I have this type of effect on her."

"No, it's okay. I-I kinda liked it. Plus, we're boyfriend and girlfriend, what's the harm?" He encouraged. She looked at him and blushed again. She placed her right hand on his stomach and sighed.

"I've wanted to do this so badly for the past week." She confessed, causing her boyfriend to blush.

"I'm glad you like my stomach," He said while burying his face in her hair, causing her to giggle.

"You really like my hair, don't you?" She asked with a smile. Aang blushed and smiled sheepishly.

"I love it. It's so soft and it smells so good," He confessed. He then used his airbending to take in a giant sniff of her hair, causing her hair to suck up into his nostrils like a vacuum.

"Ahh! Aang!" She said while laughing, "Stop! You're ruining my hair!" She exclaimed, laughing so hard her sides began hurting. Her boyfriend stopped and blushed out of embarrassment.

"Sorry, it's just that I don't think I've ever touched or smelled a girl's hair before and your hair smells soooo good," He confessed while his girlfriend fixed her hair.

"Really? That's impossible." She said with a huge smile on her face.

"Well, I've touched my mom's hair, but I've never touched any other girls. The temple was all males." Aang informed. Katara thought about it and it made sense.

"That makes sense. Well, you're still a huge goofball. You had so much fun with just my hair," Katara said with a sparkle in her eye.

"I was, wasn't I?" He responded. She nodded and they fell into a comfortable silence. Katara was still feeling Aang's abs and he was combing his fingers through her hair.

"You know, I was kinda worried when you first started calling me goofball," Aang confessed. Katara raised an eyebrow in curiosity.

"Why?" She replied.

"Well, I thought you thought I was immature or something. I didn't think you'd want to be with a person who's goofy and immature." Aang said while still brushing Katara's hair with his fingers.

"Oh, well you are goofy, but not immature," Katara responded.

"Isn't being goofy and immature the same thing?" He replied, a bit confused.

"No, I think being immature is being goofy at the wrong times. Like goofing around during a class lecture, or making jokes at inappropriate times. I feel like being mature means you have the ability to goof off and mess around, but only when it is appropriate… And that's what I love about you," Katara said from the bottom of her heart. Aang blushed and kissed her forehead.

"Thanks, you would have definitely found me annoying when I was younger. I was way too goofy and immature." Aang said with a chuckle, earning a giggle from his girlfriend.

"I'm sure we were all annoying at some point during our childhood, but I'm glad you changed. I love you," She said while looking up at him.

"I love you too," He responded while leaning in for a kiss. Katara met halfway and their lips met. They closed their eyes and kissed each other with much love. After a few moments, they pulled away and returned to their cuddling position.

"I don't think I'll ever get tired of that," Katara confessed.

"Me either… Katara? I think this is a perfect time to goof around," Aang said with an evil grin.

"What do you me-" She couldn't finish her sentence because Aang quickly got up and began tickling her sides. Katara was surprised at first but quickly began squirming.

"HAHAH! A-AANG… STOP! STOP PLEASE! I.. CAN'T… BREATHE! HAHAH!," She said, trying to free herself from under Aang. She squirmed and laughed until her sides and stomach began hurting from laughing. Aang stopped because he didn't want his girlfriend to pass out. Katara wiped a few tears from her face and playfully hit his shoulder.

"Not funny! I couldn't breathe!" Katara said, trying to sound angry, but her smile betrayed her. Aang got off from on top of her and chuckled.

"I can tell you're lying," He said in a teasing tone. Katara's face grew into an evil grin and hoped that her boyfriend was ticklish too. She instantly sat up and straddled him and began tickling him.

Hakoda heard the screams from his room and instantly shot up to see what was happening, "Why is Katara screaming stop!? I will end that kid's life right here right now!" He thought with anger. He ran into Katara's room, ready to snap Aang's neck until he saw the nearly 6'3, muscular, goofy guy reduced to nothing but a child screaming and laughing.

"AHH! HAHAH! KATARA STOP! I'M… SUPER… TICKLISH," He said while squirming and trying to escape from under her. Katara made sure to get her revenge and tickled her boyfriend longer than he tickled her. Hakoda was relieved and slowly backed away, "They're so innocent." He thought before walking back to his room. Katara stopped and looked down at her boyfriend with a huge smile. Katara was still straddling him and giggled at her boyfriend's attempt to calm his breathing. After a moment, Aang spoke.

"You tickled me for way too long! I thought I was going to pass out," He said, matching her smile.

"I had to make sure to get my revenge," She said with a smirk.

"I'll get you back. You know that right?" Aang responded, with a similar smirk. She rolled her eyes playfully and leaned down so she could rest her head on his right shoulder while still straddling him. "Woah! We are super close right now! Her privates and pressed against my manhood! And I can feel her breasts on my chest! It feels good… Come on, Aang! Don't get too excited!" He lectured himself. He felt his girlfriend bury her face in the crook of his neck and sigh.

"I love you so much," She said with her eyes closed and a smile on her face. "I love being this close to Aang," She thought.

"I love you, too" He replied while wrapping his arms around her and hugged her tightly. After several minutes of enjoying each other's scent, warmth, and comfort, they were rudely interrupted by Sokka.

"Hey! Get off of him! And you let go of her now!" Sokka ordered while grabbing his sister's arm and lifting her up.

"Ugh! Why can't let us be happy, Sokka!" Katara said, annoyed that she couldn't spend more time in her boyfriend's arms.

"Sorry, sis, but this is too lovey-dovey," He said while still pulling her away from Aang.

"What? We were just cuddling! That's it!" Katara said while pushing her brother's arms so he could set her free.

"That looked like some intense cuddling. I can't allow that," Sokka said with a stern voice. Katara clenched her jaw and felt the rage slowly build in her body.

"You're not dad! You can't tell me what to do! So get out!" She said, raising her voice.

"I never said I was dad! I'm just trying to protect you!" Sokka fired back.

"Protect me?! From what?! Aang?! Look at him! He can't even hurt a spider!" She said while gesturing to her boyfriend. Sokka looked at Aang and saw him blush while rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

"I know, but still! I just can't let anyone hurt you again." He said, with a sad voice. Katara saw the sadness and she softened.

"Look, I know you're protecting me, but you're protecting me from the wrong person. Aang would never hurt me or anyone." She said, a lot calmer. Sokka looked at Aang again and sighed.

"It's true, Sokka. I'll never hurt Katara, Airbender's promise," Aang said while pointing to the arrow on his forehead. Sokka looked back at his sister and sighed again.

"Okay, I'm sorry, I trust you Aang. But cuddling and kissing are as far as it goes, okay?" He said in a stern voice. Katara and Aang nodded and Sokka left without closing the door.

"Sorry about that," Katara said, Aang got up to stand.

"It's okay, he's just being a good brother. I need to drop off the car at my house anyway" Aang said while looking for his shoes.

"Oh yeah, want me to come with you?" She asked.

"Of course, but only if it's okay with your dad," Aang said while walking out of her room to look for his shoes.

"Let me ask him," She said before going to his room. Aang went to the kitchen and found his shoes near the front door, "how'd they get here?" He asked himself. He shrugged it off and waited for his girlfriend. She arrived with a sad look.

"He said no," She said in a soft voice.

"That's okay, I'll be back in twenty minutes. You won't even notice I was gone," He said while walking up to her and kissing her on the forehead. She blushed and savored his affection.

"I'll miss you," She said with a smile, earning a chuckle from her boyfriend.

"Katara, beautiful, I'll be gone for only twenty minutes. You make it seem like I'm leaving for a week," He teased, earning a playful eye roll from his girlfriend.

"What? I can't miss my handsome boyfriend for twenty minutes?" She countered, making him blush and smile.

"No you can, because I'll miss my breath-taking girlfriend," He fired back, making her blush.

"Well, hurry up so you can come back and we can cuddle some more," She said with a sparkle in her eye.

"Okay," He said with a smile and turned around to walk to the front door. He heard a gasp and turned around in confusion and curiosity.

"You're not gonna kiss me goodbye?" She teased, earning a playful eye roll from her boyfriend.

"My apologies, my queen. It'll never happen again," He teased back while bowing. She laughed at his joke and closed the distance between them. He leaned down a bit while she stood up on her tippy toes and they gave each other a passionate kiss. After a moment they both pulled back and looked in each other's eyes.

"I love you," Aang said, barely above a whisper.

"I love you, too" She replied, never breaking eye contact with him. After another romantic moment, Aang finally gathered the strength to leave.

"Alright, beautiful, I'll be back," He said while turning around.

"Okay, I'll be in the living room," She replied, Aang nodded and left. After seeing the door close behind him she sighed and turned around. To her absolute horror, she saw her father and grandmother with a huge smirk. She froze and blushed furiously out of embarrassment.

"You two are so cute and sweet," Gran said in a soft voice.

"Yeah, you remind me when I was in love with your mother as a teenager," Hakoda said, with his eyes watery.

"T-thanks, but if you tell Sokka or tease me about this, you'll all regret it!" She threatened, earning laughs from her family.

"Calm down, sweetie. It just makes us happy to see you so happy," Gran confessed.

"Yeah, let's go to the living room," Hakoda said. They all went to the living room and sat down. Hakoda was on his lazy boy, as usual, and Gran was sitting on a rocking chair. Katara sat on the big couch. The A.C vent was right about her and she felt the cold air on her skin. She realized that she was still wearing her athletic shorts and shirt.

"I'm going to go change into my pajamas," She said while getting up. Gran and Hakoda nodded as they continued to watch T.V. After a few minutes return with her pajamas on.

Hakoda watched her sit down and noticed that she had a smile.

"Sweetie, why are you smiling?" He asked, but he already knew the answer.

"Uhh, I don't know. I'm just happy." She replied while grabbing a blanket and covered herself.

"Aang has quite an effect on you. I am happy for you two," Hakoda teased, causing his daughter to blush.

"Thanks, I hope I make him happy too," She said.

"Don't worry, you do." Her father replied while changing the channel from fast and furious to the news.

"Three more years until the identity of the Avatar is revealed. Do you think this next Avatar will do a great job of keeping the world balanced like Avatar Roku?" One of the news anchors asked his co-anchor.

"Of course. Personally, I believe Air-nomad Avatars do the best job of keeping the world balanced. I'm not degrading any other avatar or nation, but I believe that Air-nomads and their peaceful nature is perfect for them to maintain balance in the world."

"They are peaceful... Gran? Have you ever met Avatar Roku?" Katara asked curiously.

"Not in person, but I have seen him display some of his powers at a parade, long ago." She answered while turning to look at her granddaughter.

"Really? How long ago?" She questioned.

"About 50 years. It was the craziest thing I've ever seen. The raw power they have is amazing," Gran replied.

"Wow! I wish I could see it one day. The Avatar has always interested me. Bending all four elements is awesome!" She said with excitement. Gran laughed and gave her granddaughter a warm smile.

"It is, but they are extremely powerful. They can lift entire oceans and create islands with their earthbending. They can even make a powerful wind storm that spreads across miles of open landscape." Gran said.

"Wow! I wonder how it feels to be so powerful. It's kinda scary if you think about it. What if the next Avatar is evil? There's nobody who could stop a being like that." She said with enthusiasm.

"Sweetie, the Avatar is human too. They live, eat, sleep. They are happy and sad. They feel the exact same way as we do. And the Avatar can never be evil. The spirits choose who the next Avatar will be and they make sure that he or she will be able to keep balance. They choose him or her for a reason." Gran informed. She was a walking vessel of knowledge. Being the eldest in her family gave her the most experience.

"Oh, that's good news. And I've always thought the Avatar was some type of demi-god. I didn't even consider that they have the same problems as normal people. It's really humbling," She pointed out.

"Yeah, they are truly amazing. It wouldn't be so bad to date one either," She teased, earning blushes from her son and granddaughter.

"Mom! You and Avatar Roku together? He's like 30 years older than you!" Hakoda said, still blushing from embarrassment.

"Yeah, but a girl can dream," She teased again.

"Gran!" Katara said, covering her face with her blanket.

"What? Wouldn't it be so awesome to date the Avatar?" Gran questioned.

"I-I mean… Yeah actually, it would be awesome, but even if the new avatar asked me out. I would say no because no one can make me happier than Aang," Katara said truthfully.

"Awww, Aang is a lucky boy," Gran said, earning another blush from her granddaughter. A few seconds later and they heard a knock at the door. Katara squeaked and rushed to the front door, earning a chuckle from Gran and Hakoda, "You better not break her heart, Aang" Hakoda thought. Katara arrived at the door and opened it to see Aang wearing sweats and his orange hoodie.

"Hey, goofball!" She said as she hugged him. Aang returned her embrace and rested his chin on her head.

"Hey, beautiful. Miss me?" Aang teased, earning a giggle from his girlfriend. They broke apart and looked at each other.

"Yup, did you miss me?" She said in a tone that meant 'you better say yes.'

"Of course, let's go watch some T.V" Aang said while entering. Katara nodded and they walked to the living. They sat down and he already knew Katara wanted to cuddle under the blankets. He didn't mind, he loved cuddling with his girlfriend. Once they were in their cuddling position. Hakoda broke the silence.

"Aang, the next Avatar is going to be an Air-nomad. By any chance do you know him or her?" He joked, earning a chuckle from everyone.

"No, but whoever it is. I would love to meet them," Aang responded.

"If the new Avatar was a female, would you want to date them?" Gran asked, wondering if his answer was going to be similar to Katara's.

"No, I have Katara." He said truthfully. Katara was resting her head on his chest and looked up to him.

"Good answer," She said, earning a laugh from everyone. Aang smiled and kissed her forehead. Hakoda changed the channel to Jeopardy. After an hour of watching T.V., It was almost time to finally go to bed. They all brushed their teeth and got ready for bed. Katara was already in her room, waiting for her boyfriend to come and cuddle with her. Aang finished with his business in the restroom and walked out and went towards Katara's room, but he was stopped by Katara's father.

"No funny business, you got it? I'm trusting you and you better not take advantage of it," Hakoda said sternly.

"I-I would never do anything you don't a-approve of. I promise," Aang responded nervously. Hakoda smiled and patted him on the shoulder.

"Good, good night," Hakoda replied and walked back to his room.

"Good night," He replied, trying to regain his confidence. He turned around and went to Katara's room. He entered and made sure to leave the door open. He saw his beautiful girlfriend laying on her bed under the blankets ready for him to arrive. Once they both locked eyes, they smiled.

"You ready for bed?" Katara asked.

"Yeah, let me just take my hoodie off," He replied. He took off his hoodie and folded it. He set it down on her chair and quickly flopped on the bed. Katara lifted the blanket so they could both be under it. Aang accepted the invitation and covered himself with the blanket. Katara laid on her left side and Aang laid on his right side. They were looking at each other with the same smile.

"You know, you're dad is really scary," Aang confessed, earning a giggle from Katara.

"He's really not. He's just trying to scare you because he's protective of me," She replied.

"Well, it's working," he said with a chuckle. Katara giggled and turned around so that her back was facing him.

"What are you doing?" Aang asked, confused as to why she didn't want to face him.

"What do you mean? Let's spoon," Katara said like it's common knowledge.

"Spoon? You need a spoon? Why do you need a spoon?" Aang replied, even more confused. Katara giggled and looked back at him to see he was serious.

"Wait you're serious. You don't know what spooning means?" Katara asked curiously. He nodded his head no and waited for an explanation.

"Well you're big spoon and I'm a little spoon. It's a cuddling position." She said while grabbing his left arm and wrapping it around her stomach. She then scooted backward so that his chest was pressed up against her back.

"Ohhh that makes sense. This is fun," He said with a smile, earning a giggle from his girlfriend.

"Yes, it is." She replied, loving the warmth and safety she felt in his arms.

"So what do you want to do tomorrow?" Aang questioned.

"We're skating, duh," She answered with a giggle.

"Oh my gosh, why do I keep forgetting about that?" He questioned himself.

"A lot has happened today, that's probably why you forgot," She pointed out.

"Yeah, what happened at school was horrible, but I am happy we got together. I was actually going to ask you out when we went ice skating." Aang confessed.

"Really? Well, maybe you could ask me out on a date tomorrow while we skate." She responded. Aang smiled and hugged her tighter.

"That sounds nice. We're still eating at that Asian place, and I'm paying for you," He said with confidence.

"Sweetie, you know you don't have to do that. I can pay for my own food. It's fine," She replied.

"I know, but I invited you. That means I pay." He said. He wasn't taking no for an answer.

"Hmmm fine, but on our next date I'm paying for my food," She said.

"Fair enough," He responded. They fell into a comfortable silence before Aang spoke.

"K-Katara? Ummm can I-I…" He stammered nervously. Katara raised an eyebrow at his nervousness.

"Can you what?" She asked politely.

"Can I be little spoon?" He said innocently, earning a giggle.

"You want to be little spoon? But you're huge!" She exclaimed.

"Hey, boys want to be hugged too," He replied, earning another laugh from his girlfriend.

"Okay, turn around." She ordered. Aang's face turned into a massive smile and he did as he was told. After he turned around, Katara wrapped her right arm around him and brought him closer. When they were settled, Aang sighed in happiness.

"Being little spoon is awesome," He said, with a blush.

"It is the best," She claimed.

"But you know what makes it even better?" He asked.

"Hmm?"

"When your big spoon is the prettiest girl in the world," He said, earning a massive blush on Katara's face. She buried her face in his back to hide her blush. They both let out a little laugh before speaking.

"I hate when you do that," She teased.

"Hate when I do what? Tell the truth?" He fired back.

"Yes, it turns my face into a tomato and I get super hot," She claimed, earning another chuckle from her boyfriend.

"I do agree your face is super hot," He said, making his girlfriend's blush worse.

"Aang! Stop!" She said while laughing and buried her face even deeper into his back. Aang couldn't help but laugh too.

"What? You know you love it when I tell the truth," He teased back.

"...I do love it," She said with a massive smile on her face. They fell into a comfortable silence. Aang loved being little spoon, he felt so safe in Katara's arms. Katara loved holding her boyfriend, even if he was huge. She loved his scent and warmth. By now it was nearly 11:00 pm.

"Katara?" Aang asked.

"Hmm?"

"Good night, I love you," He said with his eyes closed.

"Good night, I love you too," She replied. They fell asleep with Katara being big spoon and Aang being little spoon. It was going to be the best night's rest in their lives.
