A/N: New chapter; hope you guys like this one. Let me know your thoughts x

"So, baby girl, are you ready?" Robert talked softly to his daughter before picking her up to place her in her car seat. It had been a little over a week since her operation o fix the hernia and Doctor Hayes was happy enough with her recovery that she was finally allowed home.

For two whole weeks, Andy and Robert had been waiting for this moment; the moment when they could bring home their baby and finally be a family of three. Whilst Robert had been at work over the two weeks, Andy hadn't and being in the house all alone made her feel exposed. She couldn't wait to have her daughter at home so she would stop rearranging the books in the living room from alphabetical order to colour order and then back again.

Today wasn't just about bringing their daughter home; it was something much more monumental as long as Robert could pull it off without Andy suspecting anything.

"Welcome home, Valle!" Both parents sang as they walked through the front door. It didn't matter that their daughter was asleep, they wanted to remember this occasion for themselves.

"Well, this is it; no going back now." Robert joked as he placed the car seat containing Valentina on the couch to take her out.

"There was no going back nine months ago, Robert." Andy retorted, finding comfort on the armchair.

"You should go and take a nap. I know you haven't been sleeping recently." Robert stated, noticing the way Andy's eyelids were growing heavy.

"But what if she needs me?"

"Andy, I'm here. I've got her. Now, head upstairs and nap." Robert demanded.

"Wow, two weeks old and she's already got you wrapped around her finger."

"Hm, and I wouldn't have it any other way." Robert smirked as Andy walked up the stairs. Once she was out of earshot, Robert softly spoke to his daughter: "So, little one, how about we make this a day to remember, huh?"

Robert set Valentina in the bassinet so that he could begin preparing everything that he needed too to surprise Andy. Robert tidied away everything that was out of place, lit a few candles that he then placed by the television and put the most important thing that he needed into his pocket for when the time was right. He had been planning this day for a while and he could've chosen any day to do it but since it was Valentine's Day, and they just brought home their little Valentina, it just made sense to him.

By the time he got everything ready, it was now an hour later. He had one last thing that he needed to do before waking Andy. He needed to put Valentina into her outfit as she was the main star of the event. But it was easier said than done as it was Robert's first time changing his daughter by himself; Andy was usually there reassuming him that he wasn't hurting her. Robert took the sign that Valentina wasn't crying that he had done the job well, something that he was thankful for.

He placed Valentina into a swaddle so that Andy's surprise wouldn't be ruined straight away. Robert then walked into their bedroom and stood at the bottom of the bed. "Andy, sweetheart. I think Valle needs a diaper change." Robert lied, trying to sound convincing.

In her half sleepy state, Andy didn't notice how unconvincing Robert sounded. She rolled out of bed and took Valentina out of his arms before walking downstairs to grab the diapers that they had brought home from the hospital, as the ones that they had purchased were too big for her.

Andy's attention soon turned to the candles that were on display as she made her way down the last few stairs.

"Robert, what's all of this?" She asked, looking back at him.

"It's just a little something. Come here," Robert said, pulling her to the couch, "Take her blanket off."

Andy gently placed Valentina on the couch before removing the blanket, being careful not to wake the sleeping baby. Her eyes read the onesie that her child was wearing and before she knew it, Robert was down on one knee.

"Andy, I know we haven't known each other that long but I've been in love with you for some time. Our love has blossomed into something unimaginable and we created a brand-new life together. I couldn't think of anyone else who I would spend the rest of my life with, so would you do me the honour of becoming my wife?" Robert spoke as he held out the small black box, with a shiny ring cushioned in the middle of it.

"Yes! Thousand times yes!" Andy screamed.

Robert stood up to engulf Andy into a hug. Shortly after, he placed the ring on Andy's finger and they both spent time admiring it; it was a silver-plated band with a large diamond in the middle, surrounded by two smaller diamonds on either side.

"So, little one, how does it feel knowing you helped daddy pull off something this big without mommy finding out?" Robert cheerfully spoke as he picked up Valentina, noticing that she was now awake from Andy's screams.

"How did you even get this onesie past me? I've washed all her clothes about three times, I feel like I would've noticed 'mommy, will you marry my daddy' at least once."

"I kept it in my gym bag. I knew you wouldn't go in there and her clothes only needed washing once, so it was pretty easy to hide from you." Robert admitted.

"You're sneaky, Sullivan." Andy reached up onto her tiptoes to kiss Robert.

"Well, I may have lied to you earlier about her needing a diaper change just to get you out of bed. But now I don't think it's a lie anymore." Robert grimaced at the funky smell in the air.

"I'll get the diapers." Andy stated, walking to the front door where they had abandoned their bags earlier in the day.

As she reached down, she caught sight of her ring and couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of happiness. When she found out she was pregnant, she had no idea if she was going to keep the baby. But telling Robert made everything feel real and soon enough, she was excited to be a mother. Then, finding out about Valentina's hernia threw a spanner in the works but once again, Robert was there by her side helping her through every step. She was head over heels in love with this man and she couldn't wait to spend the rest of her life with him.
