AN: Hi. I'm here. I can't seem to stop writing Astra, no matter the fact I have school and homework. I want to say thank you to cowchoas for your review answering my questions from the previous questions. For those of you who didn't answer them, do so! I'll even repeat them, with a few tweaks:

Should I make this into separate stories or do you want me to write everything out in this one book? Currently leaning towards no. What do you think?

Should I do a chapter on Astra' entrance into society? Already done.

What should the pairings be? Not telling you what I think. I like surprises. What do you think?

Should Neville go Dark? Currently leaning towards yes. What do you think?

Should Luna go Dark? Currently leaning towards yes. What do you think?

Should Ginny be bashed? Currently leaning towards yes. What do you think?

Should Arthur be bashed? Currently leaning towards no. What do you think?

The name of this chapter amused me greatly, and I've no doubt you're trying to figure what it means.

You won't. I would like to demand that you people review. I just got a few more followers/favoriters(thanks!), and I now have twenty-three followers. Twenty-three. And there are six chapters. If each of you reviewed just thrice, I could have sixty-nine reviews. Think on that, and try reviewing this(and the previous) chapters, because yes, I am one of those hissy authors who get their muse from the reviews.

This is to Madriddler, author of the Harry Malfoy series and The Slytherin Prince: I am not trying to copy your story(you haven't said anything[thanks!], but I just want to assuage any worries about that). In Harry Malfoy, yes, there is also a trial, and Dumbles also speaks with Bagnold, but I assure you, my story will go very different from yours.

For one, your Harry is a lot kinder than mine. Your Harry is the good parts of Slytherin, cunning and resourceful, whereas mine is meaner and much more vicious(and she's a girl). So I hope that puts you all at ease and without further ado, let me introduce you to Chapter Seven, Simply Put, Screw You.

Year One: Calm Before The Storm

Chapter 7

Albus Dumbledore was pacing his office, pissed as hell. Iris Potter, living with the Malfoys?! She'd grow up proud and strong and definitely not willing to sacrifice herself in the end..AH! What would he doooooo? He took deep breaths. OK, so..who else wanted their hands on Iris?

The Weasleys..Nope, Ronald and Iris were betrothed..Albus panicked again, hopefully Iris didn't learn of her heritage yet..Ah. Albus smirked. Minister Bagnold would surely have a field day if she thought she had "convinced" him to tell her of Iris Potter's whereabouts..

Later..

"Minister, I have news!" He cried dramatically as he strode into her office, his "Urgent Meeting" badge pinned to his chest. "What is it, Albus? I care naught for the latest antics of the Flint Heir, I told you I can do nothing.." Bagnold didn't look up.

"This is not the latest goings in Hogwarts, Millicent, I have the whereabouts of Iris Potter!" Albus yelled.

Bagnold raised her eyebrows and turned around. "Where is she?"

"The Malfoys." Albus informed her.

"Good then, why did you not inform me earlier?" Bagnold glared at him.

"She was recently removed from her relatives by them, Minister." Albus coolly said.

"Why did you not tell me about her relatives, then?"

"I wished for her to grow up away from fame, so I left her with her Muggle relatives." He winced, realizing the last thing he should have said was the word Muggle.

"Muggles? Albus, they.." Bagnold sputtered.

"I wish to call a trial to determine her placement." Albus dropped the ball.

"Are you insane, man? Full court? She's simply a girl!" Bagnold was aghast.

"She is the Girl Who Lived, I am concerned about her living with former Death Eaters." Albus pitched his argument calmly.

"They were acquitted of all charges due to the Imperius!" Bagnold glared.

Albus needed to tread carefully. He knew that Bagnold didn't believe the "Malfoys are willing Death Eaters" rumor, so if he accused this she'd most likely not be on his side. "Not everyone believes that, Minister."

"Would you be one of them Albus, with your wild ideas and strange accusations?" Here, the Minister raised her eyebrows.

"I shall say nothing of the sort, I'm merely pointing out the Weasleys, Boneses, and Longbottoms do not believe that, and Bones and Longbottom are powerful Houses." He smiled convincingly.

"Fine Albus, but I will not be biased, and if the others throw a fit because they were called to court by the Chief Warlock to decide the fate of a child, on your head be it." Bagnold said firmly.

….

At the Malfoy Residence…

Lucius Malfoy was having breakfast with his family when the letter came.

A stately owl swooped in, holding an important looking letter with the Ministry seal emblazoned on it. "What is this?" He breathed. He read it.

Lord Malfoy, the date for the official trial for the placement of Iris Potter is on September 18th, 1985 in Courtroom Ten.

Outrage soared through him. "Read this, Cissa! An outrage! Courtroom Ten, like some common criminal!" He roughly shoved the letter to his wife, who paled drastically as she read it out loud.

"Are they gonna make me leave?" Astra whimpered a little.

"No way," Draco said. "I won't let them."

"That's right. Astra, you are my daughter now and over my dead body will you go back to those filthy relatives of yours." Lucius kneeled down and looked her in the eye.

Astra took deep, shuddering breaths and slowly calmed. "Thank- thank you.." she whispered.

"Let's prepare for the trial.."

September 18th, 1985:

Four prominent figures strode through the Ministry of Magic. They arrived at Courtroom Ten just minutes before the others filed in. Astra saw a scary looking chair with chains all over it in the middle. She made a promise to herself that she'd not sit there.

Lucius cleared his throat at the entrance. Fifty people turned their heads towards him. "Please put a more..appropriate chair for my charge." He deliberately avoided saying "my daughter" for a reason.

Astra watched with hatred as Albus Dumbledore, Chief Warlock strode in and took his seat. "Would Miss Iris Potter please take her seat?" Astra shakily walked into the now improved, chainless red velvet chair.

It will be okay, Greeneyes.

Thanks, Draco.

Astra watched as the rest of the Wizengamot filed in, all looking grumpy like they'd rather be home. "Malfoy, what are you doing in that seat of yours?" One wizard asked rudely.

"I am a member of the Wizengamot, Crabbe, or did you not know that?" Lucius bit back.

Astra grinned.

Go Daddy!

"Fine, Lucius, you may not interfere," Bagnold interjected.

"Minister, I call this trial to order-" Dumbledore stood up.

"No, you are in a position of bias-" Lucius started.

"So are you!" Dumbledore shot back.

"Both of you are correct, and neither of you have any rights here other than overseeing the trial! I call Amelia Bones to act as Chief Warlock. Do you accept, Amelia?" Bagnold raised her voice.

"Yes Minister, I do." Amelia stood.

"State your full name." She said loudly.

Astra felt a strange feeling, like she had to tell the truth. "I-Astra Lily Potter-Malfoy."

"Malfoy?!"

"What?"

"ASTRA?!"

"How?"

"She has no relation to them!"

"Allow me!" Lucius raised his voice. "We have," his face became smug, "blood adopted her into our family!"

The talking started again.

"How dare you, I am her magical guardian!" Dumbledore screamed.

"Not anymore, you have been removed by my daughter due to neglect!" Lucius argued.

"Can we get back to the topic on hand?!" Amelia asked them.

"Of course," Lucius said graciously.

Dumbledore grumbled as he sat down. "The topic is where to put her. I request she go back to her family."

"Never!"

"No!"

"Don't do that!" Narcissa, Lucius, and Draco yelled at the same time, but no one yelled louder than Astra herself.

"NO! NO NO NO NO NO! PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME!" She sobbed. Tears poured from her eyes.

Everyone was silent.

"Could you please tell us why you have such an aversion to living with your muggle family?" Amelia asked, her voice much gentler.

Astra didn't want to.

But it came out anyways.

"B-because m-my Uncle Vernon is m-mean and hit me with his b-belt thing..and when I-I'm bad I have t-to stay in m-my cupboard, b-but I g-guess I deserved it o-once when I had...an..accident..and Dudley..my cou-cousin..likes to punch m-me..and steal my..lunch." Astra started to cry again.

Everyone was looking at her silently.

Dumbledore broke the silence. "I'm sure you're just exaggerating, my gir-"

Amelia exploded. "ALBUS DUMBLEDORE, YOU KNOW THAT NOBODY CAN FOOL THE TRUTH CIRCLE!"

Dumbledore tried to get control of the situation. "I know Amelia, I'm just saying-"

"Nothing, Albus. You aren't saying anything." Amelia cut him off then addressed the Wizengamot. "We cannot remove her from them. She is legally theirs now."

"Yeah, you stupid, mean, dumb, jerkfaced, evil, bad, smelly, pee-pee old man! I hope you DIE in a DITCH somewhere." Astra yelled.

"Simply put, screw you." Lucius' grin did not falter and it only grew stronger when Astra was voted unanimously to stay with the Malfoys.

On the way out the reporters swarmed them.

"Lord Malfoy, what is it like having the Girl-Who-Lived for a daughter?"

"When did you guys meet?"

"Heir Malfoy, do you love Heiress Potter-Black?"

"Who put her with her Muggle family?"

'Was it really Dumbledore?"

"CALM DOWN," Lucius shouted. "Later today at exactly three o' clock we will give an interview, as a family, to Miss Rita Skeeter. The rest of you, clear off!"

As the family headed home, now free of the reporters, Astra curiously asked her father, "who is Rita Skeeter?" "She is a reporter, and she works for the Daily Prophet. It is good to have her as an ally."

Astra nodded. She heard panting behind her. Dumbledore. "Malfoys!" So good..pant..to see you! I..pant...just wanted to discuss..pant..Astra' placement-"

"Shove it, old man, you're never going near our children again. Hell, we might even send them to Durmstrang!" It was Narcissa who spoke up. Panic flitted across Dumbledore's face. "No need for that," he sounded grandfatherly but Astra could see he was anything but.

"Again, stay away," Narcissa said dangerously, her Black blood boiling. Dumbledore must've felt it too, because he turned on his heel and stalked away.

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH IRIS POTTER AND HER FAMILY: MY LIFE BEFORE SALVATION

By Rita Skeeter

You've all heard about aristocratic Lucius Malfoy, his icy pureblood wife Narcissa Malfoy née Black and their charming son Draco, but have you heard about the latest addition to the family?

Astra Malfoy, formerly Iris Potter is the perfect epitome of a pureblood princess. One would be surprised to hear that she hadn't been with the Malfoys her whole life! Unfortunately, no matter what we'd like to think, the young Malfoy's life has been anything but. Placed with her Muggle relatives at the dead of night by none other than the "second coming of Merlin", Albus Dumbledore himself.

Following her placement there, Astra Malfoy goes on to sadly, a tear dropping from her eye, explain the horrible abuse she suffered at the Muggles' hands. "They-they hurt me..my cousin Dudley liked to snap my glasses and steal my lunch..my Uncle liked to hit me with his belt, and my Aunt liked to work me like a house-elf." Another tear fell, and her adopted brother, young Draco Malfoy, clutched her hand supportively and smiled.

Speaking of the Malfoy heir, let's see what he thinks of this all.

RS: Heir Malfoy, how do you feel about all this?

DM: I hate the way Astra has been treated with those..those jerks! But I think this is a great point to grow from, and I'm so happy to have a new sister! You see, a lot of pureblood families are unable to have more than one child, so I am very grateful for Astra, who will keep me company in my times of need.

RS: What are your plans for Hogwarts?

DM: I don't know. Father is considering sending us to Durmstrang you see, he doesn't want us in close proximity with the goat that stuck my sister with those Muggles.

RS: Understandable. So how long has Heiress Potter-Black been with you?

DM: Since July, of course.

RS: How is your sister adapting to change?

DM: I don't know. I think okay, but just a night ago she had another nightmare. I'm worried, but with luck, we're sure to pull through!

We have the Malfoy heir's input. Now shall we move on to the parents of this dynamic duo?

RS: Lady, Lord Malfoy. How do you feel about all this?

LM: Us? Oh, we are thrilled! Astra is a lovely child, I knew from the moment I met her that she'd be powerful some day.

RS: Ah! This brings me to a question I have for all four of you - how did you meet?

AM(Astra Malfoy): I was running from the cousin I spoke of, Dudley, who seemed to enjoy kicking me in the ribs so I..fell over..in the dirt..

Here, she seemed to choke up and her brother hugged her again, and she regained her strength.

IPM: Sorry, Miss Skeeter. I was angry. Really angry. I made these flowers..they swirled around him and he fell over. I stood up and ran away. I didn't know what had happened there. I wasn't sure if magic could be real. I made this flower fly higher and I blacked out. Father tells me it was a burst of accidental magic.

LM: I saw her start, and with her eyes and hair like Lily Potter, I wondered, is this Iris Potter?

RS: My! Do continue!

LM: I enervated her and we talked. She explained her bad treatment by her relatives and I offered to allow her in our home while we worked out her living situation. She agreed.

NM: They Apparated into our home. I was surprised, but once Lucius explained the situation I was outraged. Draco and Astra headed up to their rooms to play.

DM: Astra is awesome! We had so much fun with my toy broom! Anyways, a week later, we went to Gringotts and blood-adopted Astra.

RS: Care to elaborate?

LM: We are not allowed to explain Gringotts' secrets, I'm afraid.

RS: Oh, no problem.

The family seem as happy as can be. It's obvious that this is the best place for the young Heiress, and that should put to rest any of your worries.

Until next time, my voracious readers!

Today was the day. The day Astra would come out, properly, into pureblood society. Today was the Yule Ball. Narcissa dressed her in a flowy, long sparkly gray dress, with beautiful white gloves to match, and braided her red hair so it fell across her left shoulder.

Draco, the poor boy, got saddled with an itchy gray suit and white boots. Despite the uncomfortableness of it, Astra and Draco were looking forward to meeting the rest of the pureblood children. They got to watch the house-elves efficiently set up the house in a beautiful manner perfect for Yule.

At last, the night came.

They were ready.

The first arrival came. "Theophrastus and Serafina Nott with their son, Theodore."

Theodore Nott seemed proper. He walked over to Astra and Draco. "Heiress Potter-Black, Heir Malfoy." He'd obviously been taught well. He bowed. Astra and Draco bowed back.

What do you think of him?

He seems normal. Cool. Yeah?

"I am Theodore Nott, Heir of Nott. You can call me Theo." Theo smiled.

"Of course," Astra nodded with a smile of her own. "And you may call me Astra and my brother Draco."

They chatted idly for a little while before the next few arrivals. Most people wanted to talk with Astra, and they left horrified at what Dumbledore had done. Astra smiled because she had probably lost Dumbledore a lot of supporters, including Augusta Longbottom, who said after hearing Astra' tale, "I will never be Dark, but I sure as hell will not support the Light!"

Astra smirked after that.

The night ended and Astra was proud. She had gained many more allies who were sure to be perfectly willing to deal with Dumbledore.
