Arriving at Sid's house, Johnny and Daniel exit the car and look at the house. Rhonda, Sid's assistant, is collecting the mail.

"Hey, Rhonda!" says Johnny.

Rhonda looks up and sees Johnny with Daniel.

"Oh, it's you", says Rhonda.

"Is Sid home?" asks Johnny.

Rhonda indicates the front door and Johnny & Daniel head for it.

As they enter the house, that has remained untouched and without a speck of dust, Johnny walks into the dining room to find Sid, sitting at the table, wearing a nasal cannula, connected to an oxygen tank and drinking a green smoothie. Sid looks up at Johnny wearily.

"What the hell do you want?" asks Sid weezily.

"What the hell happened to you?" asks Johnny.

"Like you give a shit".

"You know, Mom always told you those cigarettes would kill you one day".

"It's not the cigarettes, boy, it's my goddamn liver!"

"Okay, I'm sorry, I didn't know…"

"How the hell would you?"

"Okay, look, let's just all calm down", says Daniel.

Sid notices Daniel.

"What the hell is HE doing here?" asks Sid.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Weinberg, I'm Daniel…", says Daniel extending his hand.

"I know who you are, you're that Bruce Lee-wannabe on the TV who thinks his kung fu bullshit is going to sell cars".

"Well, first of all, it's Karate, second, I've got four locations around the Valley, and thirdly, each store has a net-worth of 8 million dollars".

While Johnny opens his eyes widely in amazement, Sid scoffs at the sound of Daniel's gloating.

"What's your point, kid?" asks Sid.

"Johnny and I want to do business with you", says Daniel.

"I knew it: you're here for the money".

"You know what? Forget it, this was waste of time", says Johnny.

"What are you talking about?"

"Johnny, come on, take it easy".

"No, man, you were right – this guy isn't good for us at all".

"Excuse me?"

"That's right, old man, I am going to say what I should have said all those years ago: I hate you, I have always hated you".

"Tell me something I don't know".

Johnny gets right up in Sid's face.

"So did Mom".

Sid slams his hand on the table, but while Daniel flinches, Johnny doesn't, still staring at him.

"You take that back, boy!" says Sid raising his voice.

"Or what?!" exclaims Johnny.

Rhonda walks in, while Daniel is steering clearing of the commotion.

"What the hell is going on here?" asks Rhonda.

"Rhonda, I am so sorry about this…", says Daniel.

"Don't apologise, Danny, he needs to hear this!" snaps Johnny.

"Right, that's it, both of you, get out!"

Sid is hyperventilating and Rhonda shoves Johnny out the way, tending to the elderly man.

"Sid, are you alright?"

Daniel taps Johnny on the shoulder, indicating him to head for the front door and Johnny complies, looking back at Sid who is slowly letting his breathing return to normal.

Back in the car, Daniel is now driving and Johnny is sitting in the passenger's seat, squeezing his fist and breathing sharply.

"You want to tell me what that was back there?" asks Daniel.

"What are you talking about?" asks Johnny.

"Johnny, I know that's not true about your mom".

"Oh, yeah, how do you know?"

"Because you hate that guy after what he did to you, so you want a little payback, right?"

Johnny doesn't answer and looks out the window. Daniel continues to drive.

"I just wanted him to be proud of me", says Johnny.

Daniel looks over and sadly frowns at Johnny.

"When you opened up Cobra Kai, were you proud of yourself?" asks Daniel.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" asks Johnny.

"Just answer the question: when you stuck it to the man, and started to build up the dojo from the ground up, were you proud of yourself?"

"Well, yeah".

"Then that's all that matters".

Johnny shakes his head at Daniel's remark.

"What do you care about what people think of you?" asks Daniel.

"Why do you?" asks Johnny, countering Daniel's questions.

"Hey, you're the one asking the wrong questions, pal".

"Then what is the right question, Sensei LaRusso?"

Daniel rolls his eyes at Johnny's sarcasm.
