Wanda was sent back to the compound with Steve, Peggy, Pietro and Michael in tow, she had noticed Pietros energy as she greeted him in the hospital and couldnt help but hear his thoughts, realising that he had heard her conversation with Michael earlier.. Guess everyone knows the truth now.. she mused to herself and forced a smile as Pietro took her hand and stared lovingly at his younger sister, pushing back all the thoughts that had entered his mind, she needed him now and he will help in any way to ease her memories of the traumatic event.

"Ok kids, we best get this house prepped, its only going to be 3 weeks until we have the little buds. Peggy honey, did we have blue paint here? I may aswell make a start with a room for them" Steve left towards the garage in search for paint and supplies to ease the process of expectant newborns with his wife in tow.

"I will go help them and maybe try my hand at carpentry, aye Sister? I'm fairly sure it cant be that hard to build a cot..?" Pietro kept up appearances and acted almost excited at the prospect of little beings as he sent a dashing smile his sisters way before following the elderly couple to the garage.

Wanda was left with Michael and found herself blushing as she thought about how he held her in her time of need earlier that day, he was willing to help her through this and although it was to ensure the healthy and safe arrival of the twins, she couldn't help but feel the flutter in her heart.. wait, why is there a flutter?! she found herself kicking herself, she cannot feel for the being before her, he was there to protect the twins, and to make sure they were protected he was offering to change her memories to ensure that she could love them and protect them with the might of a true mother that always wanted them and then he would be able to leave...

She sighed

"Are you feeling unwell Wanda? Would you like me to get you anything?" Michael had noticed her lost in thought and frowned as he watched her argue with her mind.

She looked up to meet his gaze, rather stone-faced, to which he felt a slight twinge in his chest at her lack of emotion.

"Thank you, but I am ok.. can we start the process of changing my memory? considering how they will be born soon.." she frowned at the thought of being a mother to twins that she never wanted.

Michael watched her, saddened by the fact that this lovely, strong and brave woman could not enjoy this time, being a mother should be the most wonderful thing to experience, but this fragile being before him, looked ready to break.

"Ofcourse, I will explain how it will work.." He led her to the seating area and got her a warm drink of milk before sitting across from her as he began explaining the process.

"The stone in my head is one of six infinity stones.. my creator used the stone to give me life so that I would be a general in his army, as I said earlier the stone is referred to as the mind stone, there is also space, time, reality, power and finally soul stone left but I am unaware of their whereabouts..." he looked to watch the young woman infront of him before continuing "with the mind stone, I can alter memories, it wont change the fact that it did happen, it also wont change the childrens parentage, but... it will change your feelings on the matter.. You can choose who it was, you can choose someone that you wanted, ensure that it was a pleasant experience or an experience that was just an accident... but you will have that choice" she watched him as he gazed into her eyes, a serious sensation striking her.

She took a moment to think of the process.. if she were to truly do this then, who would she have? who would she be with during that time in her memories? Is there even any point in this?

"I dont know of anyone to replace the scene in my mind.." she looked downcast as she replied to him "The only men I have known are my Pappa, Pietro, Steve and well.. you" She shrugged rather matter-of-factly

Then choose me.. Michael blinked a few times as the voice in his head rang with a thunderous howl, those words daring to escape his lips. He refused them.

"It doesn't have to be a memory of someone, it could just be a memory of a mistake.." He stopped his sentence as he watched the girl before him cock an eyebrow at his statement, he couldnt help but chuckle at the naivety and innocence that she protrudes "I am guessing that you have never experienced the effects of alcohol?" Wanda nodded at his assumption, proving it to be a true statement, she had never experienced alcohol, Sokovia was a war ridden country and it was difficult to find any form of beverage, let alone an alcoholic one.

He smiled as a sigh escaped his lips

"We should probably watch a movie, it will better help you understand the accidental natures that happen when humans are intoxicated..." He strode over to the DVD player and pulled out the movie titled 'Knocked up'

Once the movie had ended, Wanda was caught laughing at the predicament that had befallen the cast on the show and looked over to Michael and agreed completely that it would be a better memory than the one she had currently.

"Let's do it!" Wanda laughed towards the man before her, she had never felt more happy at the thought of finally being rid of that memory that plagued her dreams, she knew that it was not the babies fault, but just the thought of forgetting their conception made her heart twinge at the idea of finally feeling like a mother.
