Thank you for your lovely feedback! I hope all of you have a great weekend and maybe this is what some of you have been waiting for. :) Let me know what you think! :)

It had started raining outside and the murmuring of the raindrops could be heard through the bedroom window. Arizona's tears had streamed down her face quietly, yet her heart had screamed and ached to be heard and taken care of. It was quiet for a moment, the only audible sounds being the raindrops splashing against the window and the hammering of the blonde's heart inside her chest. Her eyes shifted to the side and had become glazed with a glassy layer of tears. As she blinked, they dripped from her eyelids again and slid down her cheeks. Arizona had bitten her lip tightly in an attempt to hide any sound that wanted to escape from her mouth, but Callie had already noticed her tears and turned her face towards her. Worry had filled her heart seeing the tears streaming down Arizona's face, but when she had asked why she had cried, the blonde had not given her an answer. Except, she had tried to move off the bed to disappear behind the door, but the Latina hadn't let her and reached out for her hand.

"Arizona, honey, please stay."

The tears inside her ocean eyes had blurred her vision as she had tried to pull away from gentle hands wrapped around her wrist.

"No...I...I can't."

"Why are you crying, Arizona? Please talk to me." Callie begged, her voice filled with worry and sadness when the blonde hadn't talked to her about what was going on inside her.

"I...don't...I...I can't."

Callie's brown eyes had swollen with tears seeing the beautiful woman crying so badly. "Shhh, come here. I'll help you relax." she whispered and pulled Arizona onto the bed again, the blonde being too weak to protest or push Callie away from her.

The Latina wrapped her arms around her, pulling her close, gently stroking her back. Despite the heaviness in Arizona's stomach, it fluttered at the feeling of the Latina's body pressed against her own. She had sunken into the warmth of her, appreciative of the simple, yet very loving and much-needed gesture. Her touch had made the room warmer somehow, and at that moment of feeling Callie so close, Arizona had felt more alive than she had in so very long. For there had been times she had been just like a butterfly who had yearned for the cocoon, to be safe within walls and be protected. That's what she had found in the brunette. Arizona had found her safety, her home and hiding place in Callie.

Arizona had slowly calmed down in the Latina's arms, and her sobs had become quieter and quieter until they had suddenly stopped. Callie pulled away slowly, catching a slight smile from the blonde and stared deeply into ocean blue eyes. "Now, would you please tell me what's wrong?" the brunette asked, her hands stroking the blonde's arm. "I'm here and I'm here to listen to whatever you have to say. I know I...I might not be the person you want to talk to...but, you're clearly upset and I...I don't want you to feel sad."

"Calliope." the blonde breathed, the tears in her eyes making an appearance again. "I'm afraid I'll make things so much worse."

"Hey." the brunette smiled and squeezed her hand softly. "There's no way you can make anything worse. You have feelings and I can see you're struggling, so...tell me. Please?"

Arizona hadn't felt this vulnerable with someone in a very long time, and a part of that had scared her, but she had needed to let it out and share her most private thoughts with someone who had cared and cherished her for who she was. "I don't want to put you in a situation you can't get out of because you feel bad for me, Calliope. If I tell you, there's no going back."

"I'm sure that whatever it is, I will be fine." Callie smiled softly. "I want to be there for you. You're not just someone I'm sleeping with."

The blonde hadn't known this was what she needed to hear, but when she heard her student say those words to her, a smile appeared on her face and it had made her brave enough to open up about her past.

"Okay." Arizona sighed and took a deep breath. "A few years ago, I met a woman who changed my life in the blink of an eye. She was the funniest, most beautiful and loving woman I've ever seen, and I knew I loved her from the moment I first looked into her eyes. She made me understand what true love meant and loved me in a way no one else ever had before, or so I thought."

"Wow, she sounds like an amazing woman." Callie gasped.

Arizona's eyes saddened. "She used to be, but it all changed when...when I caught her cheating on me with a woman she had met a few weeks before. We were engaged." the blonde explained, a tear running down her cheek.

The Latina's eyes had filled with tears of pain hearing the blonde's story "Arizona, I'm so...so incredibly sorry. How could anyone cheat on you? You're perfect."

"T-thank you. I'm not perfect, but I...I just...I have never loved anyone more than I've loved her and when she cheated, my heart shattered into a million pieces and everything I ever experienced with her suddenly seemed so wrong and...and as if it had all been a lie."

The woman Callie had been sleeping with hadn't only been her Professor, but a woman with fears, scars and a vulnerable, yet unbelievably precious heart. Callie's heart had hurt for her, and the thought of Arizona having to go through such a dramatic and painful experience in her life had broken her.

"Arizona." the brunette gasped, her voice breaking. "I can't...I can't imagine how much pain this must have caused you. You didn't deserve this, and this woman clearly never...never understood how lucky she was to have you."

"Thank you, Calliope." Arizona smiled, but her eyes had told a different story. Their hands intertwined and each other's touch had caused more tears to run down their cheeks. "I'm sure you're wondering why I'm telling you all this."

"I'm not thinking or wondering about anything. I just want to be here for you." Callie smiled through teary eyes and caught the blonde's lips trembling.

"Callie...I...I'm telling you this because, because I...gosh this is embarrassing."

Brown eyes had stared into the blonde's ocean eyes and they had expressed so much more than their mouths could ever say.

"Arizona, please, there's nothing you have to be embarrassed of. What is your heart struggling with? Is it because of Lauren?"

"After Lauren cheated on me, my life crumbled and I swore myself to never get romantically involved with a woman again. I started to sleep with any pretty girl I saw. Lauren has deeply hurt me and broken a part of me that I thought could never be repaired. But then...then I met someone really special who makes me believe in love again and makes me feel even happier than my ex ever has."

"Who...who are you talking about?" Callie asked, her heart breaking a little thinking about Arizona falling for someone else while she had been sleeping with her all this time.

Arizona watched the brunette carefully. "I...I think that person already knows, but I don't think I should tell them."

"Tell them what your heart wants. Try to forget your worries and fears for a moment. What does your heart really want? You can tell them."

Tell me what you're feeling

I can take the pain

Tell me that you mean it

That you won't leave again

Tell me what your heart wants

Such a simple thing

My heart is like paper

Yours is like a flame

I can't make you see

If you don't by now

I'll get through these changes

Somehow

Somehow

Arizona's heart was about to jump out of her chest, the strong pounding making her feel lightheaded. She had never expected herself to feel this way or her heart to fall in love with a woman who had turned out to be her student. The blonde had known it was dangerous and there had been a possibility of her losing her job, but Arizona had learned from experience that you can't change who your heart is falling for. Taking one last deep breath, she lifted her gaze and looked into the most beautiful brown eyes she had ever seen. This was the woman she had wanted more than anything.

"Calliope. Ever since I've met you, my heart has no longer been my own. I never thought it was possible and I've always sworn myself not to get involved with a student, but then you came into my life and I...I feel so much happier with you, my heart bursts when I see you in class. I, I don't want to scare you or put you in an uncomfortable position, but it's you whom I like, whom my heart has fallen for. Calliope Torres, I think...I think I'm falling for you, so much deeper than I ever have in my life."

Callie's eyes had widened in shock, the blonde's words making her heart flutter. Deep down, she had longed for Arizona to say these words for so long, but she had never thought the blonde had felt similar. This woman had swept her off her feet the moment she had first laid her eyes on her in class and spending so much time with her and getting to know her body had been the greatest time of her life. Arizona had made her feel so alive and happier than she had ever been before. As Callie tried to form any words, the warm tears in her eyes had slipped down her cheeks and made her heart feel warm all over. It had felt like sinking in a bathtub filled with warm water that would surround her entire body, only this time, it had been her heart who was surrounded by warmth and love.

The blonde had watched Callie carefully and the quietness had made her even more nervous than before. "I'm, I'm sorry, Calliope. I shouldn't have...said that." the blonde said and moved to get up from the bed.

"No, please, please don't go." Callie begged, the tears streaming down her face. "You just made me so happy. I never dared to...to say this to you, but I can't keep my eyes off of you and I think you're so, so beautiful. No one has ever made me feel this way and I...I think I'm falling for you too, Arizona."

Arizona's eyes had glazed with a glassy layer of tears again, hearing the brunette's beautiful and unexpected words. Telling Callie how she had felt about her was one thing, but hearing her admit the same had been even more unexpected. It had almost felt like a dream, but with their hand's still intertwined, it couldn't have been one. A gasp escaped the blonde's lips and for the first time in years, Arizona had felt indescribable peace washing over and lost herself in the brown eyes again.

"You're...you're falling for me?"

The Latina couldn't help but smile. "Yes, yes Arizona. I'm falling for you."

It was all it had taken for Arizona to pull Callie close and to let her lips brush against the brunette's. It had felt like fireworks exploding inside them when their lips had met and made them feel better than ever before. They had kissed many times before, but this time, they had allowed themselves to let go and express their feelings for each other for the first time. Callie smiled in between soft and romantic kisses and brought her hands up to the blonde's face to pull her closer. Soft gasps and moans escaped their mouths and being so open with each other had made them realize how much they had truly liked each other. "In love" would soon not be enough to describe the feelings they had had for each other.

"Would you like to stay the night?" Callie asked, breaking the kiss.

"Yes, I'd...I'd love that. Will you hold me, please?"

The Latina nodded and laid down with open arms to let the beautiful blonde wrap her arms around her and to let her body relax in her embrace. When soft arms had wrapped around Arizona's body, the blonde sighed and pulled the covers over them. They had still been naked, but neither one of them had seemed to mind.

"You feel amazing." the Latina breathed and let her fingers run up and down Arizona's arm.

Arizona let her fingers brush against Callie's chest and let it rest between her soft breasts. "You are amazing."

Before they had known it, tiredness had washed over them and made them fall asleep in each other's arms. There had always been some kind of tension between them, something that had made it hard to relax, but now that they had opened up about their feelings, the peace they had felt was beyond anything they had ever experienced before and caused them to fall asleep before their naked bodies had reminded them of their needs. The night had been one of the greatest nights of their lives and sleeping in each other's arms had made it even better than they thought it would.

Waking up next to Arizona the next morning had made Callie's heart burst with happiness. She had looked so peaceful and incredibly beautiful and at that moment, the brunette had known she wanted to wake up next to her for the rest of her life. Arizona was breathtakingly beautiful and all she had ever wanted. Callie could feel the blonde's breath against her skin and the warmth of her body pressed against her own had made her notice just how much she had enjoyed and needed her. The Latina leaned down to place a kiss against Arizona's forehead and it caused the blonde to wake up in the most beautiful way imaginable.

"Mmm, good morning." Arizona said with closed eyes, her morning voice sounding even cuter than Callie thought it would.

"Good morning, beautiful. I'm sorry for waking you, but we have to get up soon." the brunette whispered.

Arizona opened her eyes slowly and was met by brown eyes staring deeply into her own. The way Callie had looked at her had made her heart flutter and sent a shiver down her spine. Callie had looked so beautiful and her body pressed against her own had felt so good, she never wanted to leave the bed. "I don't want to go." Arizona sighed. "I want to stay here...with you." The blonde let her hands wander over her stomach and placed a kiss on Callie's lips at the same time, causing her to moan softly.

"If you keep doing this...mm, then I won't be able to get out of bed and we'll be running late."

"Sorry." Arizona giggled and stopped touching her in places where Callie had needed to be touched so badly. "Let's get ready, honey."

The two women had walked into the building separately, so no one would notice the two had been a thing. A part of Callie had loved sneaking around because it had made things so much hotter, but now that they had slowly started to become something more serious, she had known it was really important to stop screwing around at University. When Callie had sat down next to her friends, they had started talking about other assignments they had to hand in by the end of the week and brought the brunette back to reality. She had known how important University was, but the only thing she could think about was Arizona. When the Professor had walked into the auditorium, Callie's heart had skipped a beat and a bright smile formed on her lips. This woman had developed true feelings for her even though she was her Professor. The thought of being important to the blonde had made the Latina happier than ever and even her friends had noticed how excited she was.

"Why are you smiling so much?" Meredith asked, wondering what had been going on with her friend lately.

Callie looked at her, her eyes still smiling like crazy. "I'm just having a good day."

Something about the way Callie had acted made Meredith become more and more suspicious. The Latina had never been a morning person, let alone someone who had enjoyed school like that. Meredith had noticed how many times Callie had talked to Ms Robbins, and it made her wonder what could be going on between the two of them. At the end of their lesson, the three friends had packed their things and made their way to the exit. This time, Callie had decided not to stay longer because Arizona had asked not to be freaky at University, but when they had walked out, the Professor had stopped her and whispered to her when Mark and Meredith had walked out of the door before her.

"Dinner tonight at my place?"

"I'd love that. Text me your address?" Callie asked, her heart skipping a beat.

Arizona smiled sweetly at her. "I will. Have a great day."

"You too." Callie smiled back and walked out of the door where her friends had been waiting for her.

When she had reached her friends, Meredith had looked at her with a confused look on her face. Mark on the other hand had stared at his phone and hadn't paid attention to Callie walking out of the auditorium.

"Let's go outside?" the Latina suggested.

"Callie. Why did Ms Robbins ask you to have dinner tonight?"
