Chapter Six

Bella's Pov

"Well obviously a mansion like that has cameras. So you're saying that one of the cameras could have caught him you know" I say to Angela sipping my coffee.

"But even though the cameras got anything, don't you think James would have gotten it erased" Alice cuts in biting a doughnut.

Angela shrugs "What if I get him to admit it?"

"Well James is an idiot, there's a chance he'll let it slip but it's not sure. His father is smarter, if not for his father James will be nowhere. So if his father doesn't know what he did with you then he wouldn't have told James what to do meaning James' probably panicking. I have an idea guys" I say smiling

Alice and Angela just look at me shocked "What? I do this for a living"

Jasper, Edward and Lily walk inisde. "Its hightime you came to work Cullens"

"Women trafficking" Edward says and picks one of Alice's doughnuts then shoves it in my mouth.

"Why don't you take one of my doughnuts Edward." Alice says frowning.

"Why didn't you get her a babysitter" I whisper to Jasper

"Cause Edward's freaking out, he wont let her out of his sight."

"Laurent Sparks is into women trafficking!" Edward shouts running his hand through his hair.

Angela gets up and walks to Lily "Hey little girl. I know where they sell cotton candy around the corner, want to go?"

"Take Bradon" Edward says. Angela carries Lily and they leave the office

"I have the recording, they were auctioning girls Bella not drugs."

"Oh sh*t" Alice says

"My exact reaction"

"What, what are we going to do?" I ask sitting beside him on the couch.

"I don't think the recording is enough proof" Jasper says "We need to catch them in the act" he tries to take one of Alice's doughnuts but she slaps his hand.

"I know some state police officers that we can call cause the police in this town is not trustworthy" Edward says shaking his head. "I'll send the recording to them, they'll send some men, the problem is we need to find out when the next auction is. The police need to catch them in the act because the recording is not enough and so that they'll arrest all the people involved."

"This is a lot" Alice says "Riley must be involved too"

"Is there a way you can you know go back since you work for him." I ask

"That's where the problem is " Jasper says "He left the microphone on Laurent"

"I know it was stupid of me but I got so angry and distracted. He hates you guys and knows I work for you. He would have seen the microphone and know we're on to him. He fired me and he didn't say anything as to when the next auction is."

"Calm down Edward" I say "We'll figure this out"

"I cant let Lily out of my sight. People like that are very dangerous." He gets up and walks to the door as Bradon, Angela and Lily walk in.

"Theres a car outside sir. Someone is watching us" Bradon says. That was the first time I had heard him talk.

"I knew it" Edward says

"Okay look" Jasper shouts "Everyone calm down. First we're going to go on with the plan to make James confess, get the evidence we need, open a case. Then about Riley, he has been fired and he is on the run because the judge has signed the arrest warrant. What we do here is help women right? Once Riley is caught, that's the end for him. We are also going to put James in jail for rape too thereby helping Angela. Finally, we'll try all our best to help those women that are being trafficked, we're Arsenals we can do this, nobody panick."

"Uncle Jasper's smart" Lily says smiling and we all laugh.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" I ask arranging the camera on Angela's gown.

"It's the only way"

"I'll be listening to what's happening so if he tries to hurt you, I'll come break his face, I'll be a block away." Edward says smiling at her and she blushes. We couldn't have our date yesterday because of everything that happened. We had all stayed up late planning. I really wanted to pour my heart to him yesterday and have that dinner with him but I guess it had to wait. I realise I was staring when he winks at me and I flush.

"I pray this works" Alice says entering the office with Lily in her arms.

"It's going to and if it does, I'm taking the case" I say frowning.

"Okay let's go" Edward says and he and Angela leave the office

"We'll be watching" Alice shouts after them holding her laptop. Her and Jasper go to his office, Lily trailing behind. We really needed to find somewhere to put that girl. I'm about to follow them when someone enters the office. It was my neighbour, he had opened his office today, he sold arts and artifacts. Bradon stops him from entering fully.

"Don't worry it's fine Bradon, he's my neighbour."

"I'm Adam. I live next door" he stretches out his hand and I take it. "I'm Isabella Swan"

"I've heard of you guys. I like what you do here, its awesome" he smiles. Well, He seems nice enough. I smile back "Thank you"

"I saw you the other day. You looked sad"

"It was nothing" I say looking at the ground. He moves closer to me "I thought you were very pretty even when you were crying that day but now I realise you are very beautiful."

I bite my lip and tuck my hair behind my hair. What are you doing smiling Isabella? Remember you thought this guy was creepy. 'But look at him' I say to myself 'He doesn't look so creepy' He had really tiny brown eyes.

"It's nice to meet you" I manage to say

"Well, I'll leave you to your work."

"Thanks Adam"

"I hope to talk to you more Isabella" he says smirking, he was really good looking and he looked neat. Neat? Really Bella? I slap my face with my palm.

"Chief Billy" I say smiling as the chief enters the office. I had been standing there looking at Adam's retreating figure, he kept turning back and smiling. Why the flip was he smiling so much?

"Isabella how are you?"

"I'm fine" I say hugging him. He had been my father's friend since forever. The only police officer I actually trusted in this town. He was about my height but he looked like he could take anybody. I spent many christmases with him and his family, he was a lovely person.

"You called me and it seemed pretty important"

"Yeah it is. Come there's a video we'd like you to see."
