Ash and his friends have arrived at the whirl islands and registered for the whirl cup.Then a boy approaches them.
"are you participating in the whirl cup?"the boy asks.
"yes we are I am ash and these are gary and leaf,Janina and professor Elm "ash replies.
"I am Marcellus,will any one of you battle me and my remoraid.My remoraid wants to evolve but it can't"the boy says.
"sure I will battle you"leaf replies.
She sends out staryu and Marcellus sends out remoraid,Both remoraid and staryu evolve in the middle of the battle and become octillary and starmie.Then they stop the battle.
"Thank you for helping my remoraid evolve."marcellus said.
"no problem I am also happy that my staryu evolved"leaf replied.Then team rocket appears and tried to steal octillary and starmie but were sent flying .then Marcellus went to his house while ash and friends went to the pokemon center
Our heroes are getting ready for the whirl cup.
"oh man I am so ready"said gary and both ash and leaf also nodded while in the participant's area whereas professor Elm and janina where sitting in the audience. gary used poliwrath In both the first and second round and won while leaf used lapras and starmie,ash uses kingler and blastoise.In the semi final ash had already won while gary and leaf were battling each other.gary mega evolved blastoise but dragonite gave a tough fight.In the final ash and gary battling ash used his shiny gyarados and gary used mega blastoise.As blastoise was mega evolved gyarados was defeated and gary was awarded the sea pendent then they left the whirl island.
Ash and his friends said good bye to professor Elm and went on a boat to olivine city,but met ritchie on the way.
"hey guys it's been a while"said Ritchie.
"it has"ash said and they introduced janina to ritchie.Ritchie was shocked that ash got a girlfriend.
"so why are you here ritchie,I thought you wanted to go to challenge the orange crew"said leaf.
"ohh I heard about a mystery pokemon,so I am here to check it out "said ritchie.
Ash and his friends were also curious so they went with ritchie to check it out.But in the middle of the sea they saw a submarine and went inside then saw two familiar faces chasing a Lugia with the help of the submarine.
"hey its Cassidy and bitch"ash said.
"It's butch"exclaimed butch angrily.
"whatever,why are you chasing lugia"asked ash.
"ever since you disbanded team rocket,we decided that we will rule on this world ourselves and once we capture Lugia you won't be able to stop us"said Cassidy.
"we won't let that happen"said ritchie and released his sparky(his pikachu had evolved).
"ohh you can't do anything"said butch and he released a nidoking and skarmory while Cassidy released gyarados and houndoom.
"I won't let do anything"ash said and released his gyarados and charizard while gary released umbreon and blastoise and leaf released venusaur and dragonite.Ritchie also released his cluster.They defeated cassidy and butch.
"grr..if we can't capture lugia then we will kill it"said Cassidy and tapped a button in the submarine and a small silver coloured thing was released and got attached to Lugia's body.
"that's a time bomb it will blast in one minute"butch said laughing evilly and both he and cassidy went away with the help of their jetpacks.
"I will save lugia"ash said and released mewtwo.
"mewtwo we have to save lugia"ash said and both he and mewtwo teleported to where Lugia was.Ash was able to detach the bomb from Lugia's body and took it out of the sea.once they they came out of the sea the bomb time was up and it blasted.
"ash no"cried leaf and gary ,ritchie and janina and their pokemon were devastated at the explosion.But as the smoke cleared they saw a blue coloured ball of energy and saw that mewtwo saved itself and ash.
Then gary and ritchie took the submarine out of the sea.
"ash are you okay"asked gary as ash and mewtwo came towards.
"yeah mewtwo saved me"ash said and returned it with thanks.
Then the Lugia safely took them to the land and they bid farewell to ritchie and Lugia and continued on their journey.
Leaf and janina are packing their stuff at the pokemon center,when janina asks"where are gary and brother in law?"
"they are training"leaf asks and janina nods.Then they leave the pokemon center.
While outside when Gary and ash are training a steelix approaches them.
"what's a steelix doing here"asked gary.
"it seems familiar"ash says then he felt two arms wrapped around him from the back.
"guess who"
"my sweet angel"ash says and turns around and sees jasmine smiling at him.They both embrace each other and share a passionate kiss.After breaking down the kiss ash say"i knew steelix seemed familiar" and jasmine smiles.
Then Gary greeted jasmine and leaf and janina also arrive and greet her while janina hugs her.
Then they go to the gym and see a familiar boy standing there.
"oh jasmine I was waiting for you"the boy says.
"I told you I already have a boyfriend and he is the best"jasmine says.
"hmmph...so where is your best boyfriend?"asks the boy arrogantly.
"I am her boyfriend,Alf"ash says stepping forward and holds jasmine close.
"it's you again"says Alf angrily.
"you know him ashy?"asks jasmine.
"I will explain later"says ash.
"Let's have a battle again if I win Jasmine will be mine and and like last you time cannot use that charizard and mewtwo"said Alf.
"Fine I accept"ash says and they go to the field.
"it will be a one on one battle"said ash and Alf nodded.
Alf sends out a cloyster and ash sends out kingler.cloyster uses swift and kingler uses bubble beam then hyperbeam cloyster dodges and use hydro pump kingler is hit but finishes with crabhammer.
"I win now leave"said ash.
"Grrr...Rhydon and charizard attack on that brat with flamethrower and stone edge"said Alf releasing the two pokemon.Everyone's eyes widen.
"That Alf is going to be massacred"said gary and leaf nodded while others looked confused.
"mewtwo protect"ash said releasing mewtwo.mewtwo protected ash and then ash glared at the boy while the boy looked terrified.Then ash walks to the boy and grabs his collar.
"I will say once go away and if you try to come near my girlfriend again then you are dead"said ash glaring at him.
The boy nodded fearfully and ran away returning his pokemon.Everyone was shocked except gary and leaf.Then ash told jasmine and janina about their meeting with Alf in charisific valley and they nodded in understanding.Then they greeted jasmine's grandfather and ash and jasmine decided to have their battle the next day and spent the rest of the day in the gym.
