Josh: December 7th 2017

It has finally happened. Mount Sibo has finally woken up. I witnessed the cloud of smoke coming out of the peak, its dark presence rolling over a Primeval isolated world like a harbinger of doom. Perhaps this was a omen. Why do say that? Because the Permian Era ended in fire. Perhaps this is history repeating itself. New Terra is almost complete but time is running out. The Sorkin Lab is in danger and my work with it. Its now or never. The lab is still intact, but for how much longer? It its time. This will be my last entry until further notice. This is Josh Nedry signing off.

(Josh closes Laptop and runs to the Lockwood manor Kitchen.)

Josh: Wu, Eli, we need to talk. Mount Sibo has shown the signs for an eruption. Its all over the News Networks. Look.

(He turns the TV. They see for themselves.)

Eli: I'll inform Mr. Lockwood immediately.

(Eli Leaves)

Josh: Wu, its time that we talk.

Wu: About what?

Josh: How does Mr. Lockwood plan to rescue the dinosaurs?

Wu: How many species are still alive? (He take a sip of tea)

Josh: We lost one too many. We're down to 16 species. Most of all the herbivores are dead and the giant carnivores, like Acrocanthus, are all extinct. Rexy is the only giant native carnivore left along with Baryonyx, the Carnotaurus and Allosaurus. That was two weeks ago.

Wu: I have to meet a few people to draw up the options.

Josh: Wu, can I ask you something. We have worked together since Hammond recruited me. But for some reason it seems like you don't trust me. Have I not been anything but honest with our dealing?

Wu: You have and that is the reason why I have kept you out of our circle. There are some things that only I can know. Do you really want want to know? Do you want to be a part of my circle to gain my trust, along with any of my affiliations?

(Josh thinks for a moment)

Josh: Yes.

Wu: Very well. Let me show you what is really going on here. Follow me.

(The walk down corridors and halls. For this part listen to 3. Revealing the Plans (TLW: Jurassic Park Complete Score) or 24. Don't Oversoll the Merchandise (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Complete Score). They arrive at the entrance at the basement.)

Wu: Everything that you see will is strictly confidential.

(He uses the thumb print scanner. Doors open. He see's cages and Labs. There are other scientist there too. He notices familiar faces, Roslyn and Patrick. They are so occupied with their work and don't notice their fellow colleague.)

Josh: What is all this?

Wu: Ingen became a failed product in a progressive world, like silver exposed to the elements . But unlike Ingen, Biosyn is the next crown jewel for genetic technology.

Josh: You plan to create more species for our competitors?

Wu: Not only create but improve.

Josh: Improve? How so?

Wu: This way. (They enter the restricted ward) We are creating new animals that can follow human commands. The potential of Genetic Technology is an limitless frontier for people like you and I.

Josh: You're starting to sound like Hoskins.

Wu: The raptors serving as an commanding unit was the foundation to our current exploit. Are you familiar in the way that dogs work with law enforcement to hunt and detain criminals?

Josh: Yeah.

Wu: The Indominus Rex proved to be more of a match for all the solutions we threw at it. And it showed me more results than what was expected from just any normal dinosaur. Not to long ago, without Lockwoods knowing, we went back to jurassic world. From the Lagoon a team managed to retrieve a sample of the Indominus Rex.

(He points to a section of Indominus rex rib bone in a protective capsule)

Josh: What are you making here?

Wu: The future. The rib bone you see there is the next step in creating a new dinosaur from the cellular level up. A creature programmed to follow orders and carry them out with 100% satisfaction. Josh, I present to you the Indoraptor.

(Josh is stunned and amazed)

Josh: My God.

Wu: Its quite something isn't it.

Josh: And this thing follows orders? What do plan to do with it?

Wu: Like I said before.

Josh: Is he the only one?

Wu: I need a certain specimen for the next generation of Indoraptors.

Josh: What specimen?

Wu: Blue.

Josh: Blue. I don't that specimen is alive. I spent two years on the Island and never seen her once. However, if she is alive why would you need her? Isn't there enough raptor DNA in the Indominus Rex genome?

Wu: Creating the Indoraptor was not a problem. The problem here is behavioral issues of the prototype. That is why I need Blue.

Josh: Does Owen know?

Wu: He doesn't but he'll play his part, along with Claire. But I have to give you a majority of the credit. Without you, our plans would have been foiled. You grabs the worlds attention with Mount Sibo impending eruption, activist are protesting to save the Dinosaurs as you predicted and we have the means to further our research.

Josh: I dont' know what to s-

Eli: What is he doing here? You don't have permission to be here, Josh

Wu: He works with me, Eli. And now, with us. Meet a new employee for Biosyn Technologies.

Eli: How much do you know, Josh?

Josh: I know everything.

Eli: I see. Did Wu tell you what the collateral was for everything you have seen here today?

Josh: What does he mean by that?

Wu: In order to be a part of this company, one must give up something. In your case, all your data, research, all genetic samples that you have extracted from your fossils along with your Permian Animals that you cloned. This is something I ask from all the scientist that work for me, even your friends Patrick and Roslyn. All have complied to this with great financial gains. That I promise you. What do you say? Do you want to be a part of history?

Josh: Do I have a choice? Fine, I agree to these terms.

(Eli extends his hand. Josh shakes his hand)

Eli: Welcome to Biosyn, Josh Nedry.

Wu: You're a lucky man, Josh. You won't regret this.

(Josh puts on a smile)

Josh: I know.

Eli: You'll have your Biosyn badge tomorrow. Now lets wrap things up, dinner is almost ready for Lockwoods guest.

Josh: I need to grab a change of clothing to look suitable. I'll join you all very soon.

(Josh walks to his guest room. He punches the bed mattress.)

Josh: FFFFFUUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKK! FUCKING, FUCK, FUCK!

(December 8th, sometime in the early morning.)

Josh: Its 3:47 in the morning. I can't sleep worth a damn. I have been coned to work for Biosyn. All my research will belong to them. My NEW TERRA project would have all been for nothing, all my millions of dollars of hard earned investments going down the shitter. My colleagues are nothing but puppets. Wu has shifted his course from dinosaur cloning to making Bioweapons for God knows who. Wu, my how you fallen. He told me that you worked with Biosyn. I never knew just how deep you were involved in. I never thought that someone highly talented like himself, with all his knowledge that top minds would pay for, would stoop so low. But who am I to judge your actions. But if John Hammond was watching us right now he'd be turning in his grave. This was not Hammond's dream. And it is not mine. No. This cannot continue. I will not see my creations be subjected to testing or cruelty. They belong to the world now. They are a part of nature and only nature shall determine their fate. Wu, forgive me but I will not be sharing in this new venture with you. I have my own plans.
