If the Doctor Could Fly: Season 2

How would episodes or scenes change if the Doctor could fly? It's only a collection of short sections of episodes, but through all the seasons a cohesive storyline emerges as the Doctor discovers more and more about the power of flight. This takes almost encyclopedic knowledge of each episode to appreciate it to its fullest, but that kind of knowledge isn't necessary to enjoy it.

7. Chapter 7: Rise of the Cybermen

People ran everywhere, trying frantically to find a way out. Some were mercilessly cut down by the Cybermen.

The Doctor grabbed Rose's hand and flew out a broken window. "There's nothing we can do!" he shouted.

Rose tried to pull away from him. "My mum's in there!"

The Doctor dragged her up the slope. "She's not your mother! Come on!"

Rose reluctantly followed him, only to be greeted by a row of Cybermen. They quickly switched direction. The Doctor flew around the side of the house, dragging Rose behind him. He started to fly up so they could escape, but Rose spotted Pete climbing out a window.

"Quick! Quick!" she shouted to him.

Pete ran after them. The Doctor slowed down and let his feet touch the ground. He could fly away with one passenger, but not two. They ran to the front of the house.
