Alot happens in this yeee

"Hey, Rose" Bella said, walking up to me. We both stood just outside the main school building. My next class was in the second building but it was pouring down so hard.

"Hey" I said, I stuck my hand out into the falling rain and sighed.

"I hate the cold" Bella said, this shocked me. She was so pale; I would assume she hid from the sun.

"Same" I breathed out "At least where I used to live, it was kind of sunny" I complained.

She laughed "Maybe we're kind of similar, I came from Arizona".

"Montana" I replied "I got pretty cold in winter, but didn't rain often".

"Sorry if we got off on the wrong foot the other day. Edward and Jacob don't exactly get along" She explained.

"Yeah they seem like fire and ice" I joked.

"How are you holding up as the new girl? I mean besides feeling like a piece of meat." Bella asked.

"You got that to?" I asked. I had just put up with a class full of bad jokes and attempts to ask me out by Mike. It's safe to say if he asks me again, I might just knock him out.

"Yeah bad" She laughed.

"Good thing you have a Cullen to scare them off" I joked. She stayed silent. I wonder how she would react if I started talking about my experience 'dating' a vampire. I wonder if she was ever kept captive and drugged? "I feel like I need to knock Mike out to get the message across" I said in full seriousness.

Bella burst out laughing" It's wrong to say do it, but I doubt he'll get a clue any other way". Bella seemed normal, I'm not sure what I was expecting from the girlfriend of a vampire.

It's PE and I am bored. It's frustrating having to hold back so much. I can't even be bothered trying to hide my boredom, I'm sure it was all over my face. It's times like this, I would reach out to Lissa, hear her through the bond. I still feel like a piece of me is missing since the bond broke.

At least I had a good chance to observe the Cullen's. Their faces matched mine, the same boredom. Since they are fully Vampire; they must be pulling back way more than I am.

I could feel it before I saw or heard it, my Damphire senses picked up on it before my body could. We were throwing baseballs in PE and a stray ball thrown from the hands of a certain family member was headed in my direction. Without thinking my right hand darted out to the side, I didn't even have to look at the ball to catch it. It made a satisfying clap as my hand stopped it mid-air. There was a lot of force packed behind the throw, I'm sure if I was human it would have surely broken a few fingers, but a human wouldn't have been able to react quick enough to catch it.

I looked up at the source of the throw, my eyes met a male Cullen, I think his name was Emmett. He looked shocked. I'm sure that throw was a test, but I'm not sure if I passed or failed. I'm not sure what he was expecting. The blonde one next to him scoffed. I could see her mutter 'lucky catch'.

"This yours'?" I asked Emmett throwing the ball up in my hands.

"Yeah" He responded, opening his hand up to receive a pass back.

This time I didn't hold back. I knew he could take it so I threw the ball with every ounce of my strength. It whistled through the air speeding towards Emmett's hand, dead on target. He caught It as easily as I caught his.

He passed the ball between his hands. His eyebrow was slightly raised and he smiled carelessly "Thanks" He yelled.

I turned my attention back to my partner, Eric, who was staring at me in wonder. "Wow you can really throw" he murmured. He sounded a bit embarrassed; he was not the best at PE. Many of his throws had fallen to the ground or completely missed the mark.

"I used to play as a kid" I lied. "and sport is easy to me" I shrugged it off.

By the end of the school day I was dying to get out of the place.

I heard from Jessica that the Cullen's had been going to Forks High School for a few years and since there has been no disappearances or attacks on humans, they seem safe, for now. I wonder how they feed? Are they like Moroi? Does their venom drug victims? Thankfully none of the school kids looked drugged up on vampire venom.

I packed my school bag and set out for the car park. When I exited the main school building kids had gathered around, something must have happened. I pushed through walls of people to see what was happening.

My heart lurched when I got to the front. The last person I wanted to see was standing in the car park. He looked so out of place, in his trench coat with his dark hair pulled back, Dimitri.
