A/N: This was a tricky one to, almost as tricky as Windlifter's because I had zero clue on what to do for this. BUT I'm happy with how this turned out and who I used, so here ya go!

Disclaimer: I don't own any of the recognizable characters, they belong to Disney/Pixar.

Back when she lived in Nevada with her parents, she was exposed to extreme weather conditions. She was used to them, and she thrived in them.

All except for snow.

Dynamite had never liked snow. She preferred to stay inside watching tv then be outside with the 'annoyingly cold white stuff' as she called it. She would happily play outside with the jumpers during warm, sunny days in the winter, sure. But she wouldn't step foot outside if there was snow and it was cold.

If she did, then there was an emergency, the world might be ending.

Which is exactly how they ended up here, with Dynamite borderline hypothermic after working outside after an avalanche had hit the park. They'd been called to search for survivors, and Blade had known Dynamite might be in trouble when she declined the offer to stay at the base, and chose to go work with her team.

Blade knew that it wasn't just her dislike for snow that kept her from going out in it. Her breed - an Arabian - was notorious for surviving and thriving in scorching heat. But they weren't very good in the cold, and that could create some issues.

They finished their work as quickly as possible, but even from a distance Blade could see how uncomfortable Dynamite was. Damn Cad for having their budget at 20 percent, as they could've gotten her a blanket had they not been so short on money as it was.

When the sun began to set, and their work was done, Blade hurried everyone home. It was going to get very cold soon, and he'd prefer if his team was inside the heated main hangar so he could keep an eye on them. Especially Dynamite.

She hadn't stopped shivering for a while, and he was very worried for her safety. He knew the signs of hypothermia, and she was showing most of them.

Once they got back to base, he made everyone get into the main hangar. He shut the door behind them, letting Maru turn on the TV as Blade settled himself next to Dynamite. Pressing against her, he could feel how cold she was. Her shivering hadn't lightened at all since she'd gotten back, and that worried him.

The rest must've seen his worry, because one by one they circled around them, as close as they could get to one another. An episode of CHoP's played in the background, the quiet around them peaceful as Blade finally felt Dynamite's shivers subside.

Blade dropped his head, resting it around Dynamites withers. He didn't sleep until the shivers stopped completely, and he made sure all of his team was sound asleep before heading off to sleep himself. He left the TV on, and focused on the noises around him.

All of it was comfort to him.
