Yes yes I know I sorta left this fanfic but I promise I'm back for good - Tian PS was anyone else pissed when wales got told that they were going back into lockdown because I surely cried I'm welsh for those who didn't know and I'm really really pissed that were back in lockdown. Previously

After I finished I started to get tired Jace picked me up after everyone stopped crying and said goodnight Jace helped me into some pj's before getting into his sweatpants and lying down next to me cuddling me where I fell asleep boy how much do I love him and I hope that I'll never lose him.

3rd person

Time jump - 3 weeks

When Clary woke up feeling the coldness coming from Jace's spot, Jace had already gone he left a note that read. 'Jocelyn needed me for something then I got sent on a mission hopefully I'm back before you read this but if your reading this then I'm not there I love you ever yours -Jace Your golden god.' At that last bit Clary let out a laugh before rolling over and falling asleep again, But her dreams of sleep were soon interrupted by her nausea coming back and her running as fast as she could to the bathroom.

When she finished throwing up she stared in horror at the sight of blood in the bowl, her head started to pound into a rhythm that was much like her own heart beat before she felt the black mist creep up on her again but instead of fighting it she let it consume her.

(A/N yeah yeah I know but I promise she will get better just wait for it get it Hamilton humour also should I start putting disclaimers that i do not own these characters Cassie does?) Jace fought about 20 demons with the help of Alec and Izzy but there was one demon that didn't go away and was constantly nagging at the back of Jace's head there was something wrong with Clary. With this constant demon he was distracted but Alec and Izzy saved his ass multiple times.

"What the hell is going on Jace. Yeah I understand Clary is ill but even after you found out you were never this distracted. So. What. The. Fuck. Is. Going. On." Izzy spoke emphasising every word. Jace wanted to tell her that something was wrong with Clary and that he had a gut instinct, but before he could a demon appeared and chucked Alec at the wall his bow landed a couple of feet away from him. Jace pushed Izzy out of the way and stabbed the drevak demon with the dagger that Clary had got him before he left for Idris.

Flashback-

"Happy anniversary baby." Jace said giving Clary a kiss under the moonlight. It was midnight and they had decided to have a picnic in the Greenhouse. It was the area where they had their first kiss and yet every single time they kissed it still brought butterflies to both their stomachs. Clary whispered something against his lips and drew back.

"I have a present for you goldilocks." She chuckled even after everything it was still like music to his ears. She grabbed the thin box that contained his present and put it on his lap, she didn't know that he had also gotten a present for her. She had expressed that she already had everything she wanted, but he still bought her a present.

"I though I told you that I have everything I need right here." She said kissing him again. He chuckled but still got her to open it, when she did she gasped. It contained a few new paint brushes and a golden chained neckless that held the Morgenstern ring. Clary stared at it with tears pricking her eyes Jace thought for a moment that she didn't like it and was about to say something but she cut his off by smashing her frail lips to his. He wrapped his arms around her holding her to his chest he pulled back.

"It's amazing Jace." She choked out between sobs. He smiled at her not one of his your welcome smirks, but a real smile that only she could bring out. "Now open mine." She said, he looked at her and saw her striking emerald eyes. He opened the box to find a dagger, pure silver easy to hold. It had birds that were apart of the Herondale crest it might have been silver but it was also made with pure adamas. He looked up at her and drew her in for a bone crushing hug.

End of flash back-

Jace smiled at the memory but his mood was quickly diminished by the Drevak demons, Izzy had gotten up and had started to kill them but she didn't notice so he stepped behind her his back touching hers and killed the demon. Izzy was gasping heavily I mean she did just demolish 20 demons.

"Izzy you ok? The demon didn't get you did it?" Jace said panting slightly, Izzy shook her head before turning to where Alec lay on the ground breathing.

"A little help please." He said panting from the pain, Izzy went over to him and placed a Iratze where he had hurt his ribs and had a cut on his forehead but he was fine other than that. Jace had a few cuts but nothing too serious. Izzy helped Alec up despite his protests and she wrapped an arm around his shoulders and helped him to walk, Izzy knew that he was ok but ever since Max and Clary she became more protective over her family always putting herself in front of them. Jace grabbed Alec's phone and rang Magnus to get a portal ready.

"Alexander are you ok?" Magnus sounded worried,

"He's fine Magnus but who knew he called you Maggie?" Jace laughed with his signature smirk taking its spot on his face,

"Oh It's this sarcastic prick." Magnus said sounding bored, "What do you need now?"

"Can you meet us by the Hunters moon in 2 minutes?" Jace said,

"Sure." Magnus replied ending the call before Jace could even say anything else.

"I DO NOT CALL HIM MAGGIE DICKHEAD!" Alec yelled,

"I know it was to wind you both up dumbasses." Jace chuckled before rolling his eyes and walking over too them and putting Alec's other arm over Jace's shoulder.

"You both know I can walk right?" Alec said removing both arms from the pair's shoulders and sighing.

"We know but are you sure is little baby Awlec iwn Pawin?" Jace spoke in a baby voice and smirking, which resulted in a smack on the arm "Ok I'm sorry." Jace finished with rolling his eyes. They walked to The Hunter's moon and were met with the sparkling Warlock, his cat eyes immediately went to Alec to check for any injuries.

"Well come on then don't just stand there people Alec needs a bandage." Magnus teased having obviously heard their conversation from earlier, Alec rolled his eyes at his boyfriends antics. Magnus waved his hand at the wall as blue sparks appeared forming a portal, all of them stepped through the portal and just like that they dispersed into mist. Wen they arrived at the Institute well to be specific out side the gates.

"In the name of the angel-" Izzy was cut off by the gates opening, "Well that was fucking easy Jace go see if Clary is up to eating something." She finished, Jace just replied by nodding and walking into the institute. Still nothing had stopped the nagging feeling in his stomach that something was wrong. Izzy and Magnus helped Alec to the infirmary to get his ribs and a wipe for his cut that had completely healed. Jace had stopped just outside of his and Clary's room debating whether or not to go in potentially wake Clary or see her on the floor like last time.

Flashback-

It was a sunny- Screw it. It was a bleak and rainy day and Clary had just finished puking her dinner up when the darkness called her name, She had tried to fight it but it was useless and it consumed her. The person who had found her was Jace he found her collapsed near the toilet with sick in the corner of her mouth; He had vowed to never leave her on her own again. She had woken up a couple of hours after Jace had found her and everything was ok and all she needed to do was eat more.

Flashback ends- (I know it was short I'm sorry)
