Chapter 7:Conflict

Yuki woke up to another miraculous sunrise. He decided to watch it with Chifuyu by going up to the clock tower terrace before breakfast (Heavy Kingdom hearts:358/2 days vibes) .

Yuki thought about his friends on his way up the tower with Chifuyu. It would take 10 minutes to get to the top and 5 to get to the bottom.

He had 2 people he enjoyed hanging out with besides Chifuyu. Tatenashi, a charming girl that while being sly and teasing. Generally cared for his well being. He remembered the time when he was doubting his life choices but she (along with Chifuyu) was there for him. He didn't know why but his heart fluttered when he was around her. He knew he might have feelings for her, but he wasn't too sure.

But, Yamada was a different story for him. He knew for a fact that he had feelings for her. The kind,sweet-hearted and tender woman really lit his heart ablaze. She was shy and sensitive,yes, but she also was encouraging. She was cute to a T. In all honesty, it was difficult not to fall hard for her.

Thank the stars that Chifuyu was behind him while walking up or she might have caught blushes periodically. They reached the top soon enough and sat upon the edge of the clock tower. Neither were scared of heights.

As they watched the sun slowly peek out. They begin conversing about casual things, like rumours around the world that there is a secret terrorist organization hell bent on conqering the world. To memories about their time as family together.

"You know, now that I think about it. Slenderman was actually justified. He was summoned for the price of 1 soul per generation of the family. But, they really dicked him by saying no. Honestly, he is really just trying to get what he is rightfully owed." Yuki stated, while waving back at some girls that saw them from the plaza downstairs.

"Chehehe, yeah, he actually was." Chifuyu laughed along.

Chifuyu decided to play Slenderman after Tabane wouldn't shut her mouth about it. She knew it was a horror game but she still played it on the home tv without caring. She remembered Yuki laying his head on her lap and watching her play, while Ichika and Madoka were hiding behind the couch like big boy slenderman was actually coming to get them. But, at their age, she couldn't really blame them.

Yuki was newly 10, his birthday being 5 days before this and the twins were still 9. She fondly remembered the twins screaming like banshee's when the chaser came out of nowhere. Or the part they screamed when Charlie captured the player.

Yuki only watched the plot unfold with a blank face but when Chifuyu looked in his eyes while getting up for a bathroom break. She saw amusement and curiousity in his eyes.

He was enjoying watching the plot unfold and was actively pointing out clues and notes. Generally being a backseat guidance to Chifuyu. Usually, Older siblings found it annoying to listen to their younger siblings. But with Yuki, Chifuyu actually loved his opinions and comments. He was witty and clever to a T.

He made a comment about finding Kate crying her eyes out at the end of the game. "UUUUUUU, look at me. I'm a dumb bitch and challenged a demon shadow lord to a duel and lost….." Chifuyu remembered almost clocking him in the head for swearing. But she just couldn't. She was laughing way too hard.

"It's been 10 years but Shulk still hasn't taken another bite of that sandwich. I wonder when he will finish?"

Yuki wondered about the protag of his favorite game.

"Probably around….Reyn time!" Chifuyu commented with a giggle

The thing about the Orimura family was that, while they were 4 all together. They were really divided into 2 pairs. The twins spent most of their time hanging out around each other.

While Chifuyu and Yuki being older hung out more and enjoyed each other's companies.

They bonded over games and anime. Chifuyu never really liked gaming before. But Yuki helped and guided her through finding games she enjoyed. Her favorites were surprising for a gal, but when you realized she was a warrior, you got the idea. She enjoyed: Doom (2016), and Call of Duty:Zombies. She didn't have loads of time to play whatever. So for days were Yuki was out and about or just lazy. She would play Doom(2016). But the most enjoyment she got out of gaming was playing through maps with Yuki in COD:Zombies.

Yuki and her were like a single unit playing Zombies. She loved playing maps from black ops 1,2,and 3. She told Yuki that in her opinion those were the real games for zombies. Anyway, with Yuki being the witty and quick one, he would make the most elaborate and crazy stratagies for the both of them to do. It never got boring for Chifuyu to spend time with him. She never understood how they would reach round 71 in an hour on Origins of all maps. But Yuki pulled some crazy shit on the regular.

Speaking of Yuki, Chifuyu always enjoyed watching him playing his favorite games.

Uncharted, DmC, Botw, FFXV.

Those were a few. But, Chifuyu knew Yuki loved 1 game for his top spot. He idolizes the game like it was gospel. She didn't know where and how Yuki found this game. But even she had to admit it was a good game. The game was called: Xenoblade Chronicles.

She enjoyed watching him explore Bionis and Mechonis with glee written in his eyes. When he played his favorite game, his lips always without fail formed a happy smile. Chifuyu sometimes would get mesmerized by his smile.

The small dialogue they just had refrenced his favorite game, and in the form of a humorous joke.

"Gahahahaha. That was actually a good one." Yuki laughed along with Chifuyu's joke.

"I know hahaha. Anyway…." Chifuyu trailed off, trying to find the courage for the next words.

"Yeah, Chi-Chi. Whats up." Yuki used her most hated nickname besides the all famous "Chi-chan"

(*SMASH*)

Yuki got clocked super hard in the head but just brushed it off without complaints.

"Kk,chill. What is it?" Yuki asks again.

"Are you sure you want to go to the USA branch after the fight? And why are you fighting Cecilia if you know you will leave?" Chifuyu asks, looking at the skies.

"Yeah…..I do. I feel like if I remain here in the Japan branch, I will make my life difficult. And the reason for fighting cecilia is because I wanna see where I stand as a pilot."

Chifuyu was startled at his words and questioned his choice. But, she accepted the answer of why he is in the fight.

"What do you mean by that? How will your life be more difficult if you are here."

"I intend to go to the USA branch so one male is on the eastern part of the world and another on the western part of the world. Ichika already has enough people to just, up and leave to the USA branch."

"And you don't? You dolt!" Enraged, Chifuyu scolds Yuki.

"Not really, besides I've wanted to go to the west for a long time. Who's the principal there?"

"I…..I don't actually know. But, a lot of people were surprised at who she was. She must be a hotshot pilot or some big person."

"I see. Are you okay with me leaving?"

"I will admit, I am worried about your wellbeing. But I know you will be fine as long as you don't meet a crazy gal…...like Jiosestaf" Chifuyu mumbles the last part but Yuki still hears it.

'Oh yeah….. my boss. Yeah, she was livid that I was her "archnemesis" little brother when I got on the news. Thank god she didn't tell chifuyu about work though. I would be dead.' Yuki thought.

"Yeah, I'll be fine. Maybe even pick up a girl or two." Yuki said, grinning at Chifuyu.

"Hoh? I didn't realize I raised a pervert!" Chifuyu menacingly cracks her knuckles.

"Just kidding."

"Good."

"You're the only one for me, darling."

"Yeah, I am the only-WHA-WHAT!?"

Chifuyu turned blood red.

"Bwahahahahahahaha!" Yuki got up and ran down the stairs to the ground floor.

Chifuyu nursed her forehead.

"Damn kid." She still smiled at his teasing.

Breakfast was a casual affair.

Tatenashi decided to tease Yuki. But, Yuki teased her back, Issuing a cold war of teases. The conversation turned flirty fast. Making Yamada blush at the blatant lewdness. Chifuyu narrowed her eyes at Yuki,who just winked at her and got back to flirting/pissing her off. Tatenashi was amused at Chifuyu's reaction. The whole cafeteria also stopped to listen to the blatant flirting, almost taking notes for future refrence.

Except when 1 remark from Yuki slyly, made everyone turn scarlet. Some girls had nosebleeds that made them launch toward the roof. Ichika flushed a little bit but continued eating. Houki wished Ichika was more flirty like that. But, she still loved Ichika all the same.

Madoka covered her face with her hands to hide her cute cherry face. Yuki still locked eyes with her and smiled.

Chifuyu flushed for a while. But she grew tired of Yuki and Tatenashi's flirts and smashes the table top.

"Enough!" She yelled.

Yuki just smiled and Tatenashi giggled.

Everyone continued eating breakfast. And then proceeded to their classes.

Morning classes went off without a hitch.

Yuki got death glares from Cecilia and Houki, who seemed to have regained her ego, though he didn't care about those.

He watched Chifuyu teach and answered her questions diligently. When Ichika was having trouble with one of Yamada's questions, Yuki pelted a ball of paper with the answer in it. But it was intercepted by Madoka who just shook her head at Yuki. Basically saying, "Your actions are appreciated. But this dude needs his ass kicked by nee-san." Yuki just nodded to that. Ichika lost 400 brain cells by the end of that class.

Lunch came and went with Cecilia pestering him about the match and how he will lose cause she has a personal one. She seemed to forget that Chifuyu, Tatenashi and Yamada were sitting 2 feet away from her. Chifuyu cut in to say:

"Actually Alcott, Yuki will be given a personal IS unit by the time of your fight."

"Hmph. Good, at least I won't hold back."

Cecilia replies whilst walking away.

'Yeah, Genesis and Hermes were not lying about the boasting stuff.' Yuki thought grimly.

Yamada wouldn't stand for her brilliant (and possibly favorite) student getting discouraged like that. So she chimed in:

"Don't worry, Yuki-kun. I am 100% you will do fine. I know you can win. Don't get discouraged!" Yamada yelled at the end.

Yuki widens his eyes at how much encouragement she is giving him.

'Damn, I really am falling for her.' Yuki thought.

He looks at her with loving eyes and a slovenly smile (something that surprised Tatenashi and Chifuyu) he got up and reached over the table. Yamada got intimitated by his closeness but didn't say anything. He gently cupped her chin and gave her a kiss on the cheek

Yamada was very surprised and let out a sharp gasp. Yuki whispered in her ear:

"Thank you for believing in me, Maya-chan. You really are one of the most sweetest women i've ever met. I'll be honest. It is really hard not to fall for you."

Yamada blushed furouisly at his words. But whispered back to him:

"I-its fine, th-thank you for your sincere complement. You are also one of the most kind hearted males i've ever met. It-it-its also really hard not to fall for you."

Yuki drew a breath and asked:

"If I told you that I have feelings for you. Could you tell me how you would respond."

"Do you?"

"Do I what? Maya-chan."

Yamada flushed as she breathed out her next words:

"Have feelings for me?"

"I do. I have feelings for you."

"M-may I ask why? I-I mean not that I doubt you."

Yuki smiled and said:

"If you think I love you because of your body, you're wrong. I love you because….you are kind-hearted, helpful, and encouraging. I guess you could say that I fell in love with your soul really."

'My soul? Oh so who I am as a person. I am glad he likes me like that. Now I know he isn't feeling lust.' Yamada thought, Yuki broke her thoughts with a question.

"So?"

"U-um, I-I love your soul too. S-So, yes I love you too." Yamada is blushing up a storm while she admits this.

Chifuyu and Tatenashi couldn't hear the conversation except Yamada's parts. So when she said that final line. They both had the idea that Yuki confessed to her.

Tatenashi was shocked and a little dissapointed that Yuki didn't like her that way. She thought she was inaduqate or not good enough to be compared to Yamada-sensei.

Chifuyu was also shocked and a little angry because just this morning he was teasing her about girls. When now, he has just confessed to his own teacher. And has apperantly, received her affections back.

What. The. Hell.

She knew Yuki would say he just got lucky. But now that she thought about it. She noticed her coworker and Yuki smiling whenever their eyes locked on to each other in class. She never saw Yuki or Yamada smile like that to anyone. She knew the both of them probably felt attracted to each other but she didn't think Yuki would have the guts to confess to her.

However the real shocking part came next.

Yuki drew back his mouth from her ear and kissed her on the lips. It was his second kiss and with someone he actually loved and cared for. He was truly happy and put that emotion along with love in his kiss. It was a pretty chaste kiss but it got the point across. After that he sat down on his chair and continued eating while having a faint blush and smile.

Tatenashi felt a bit damaged after she saw that. But, was thoroughly surprised when Yuki gave her a quick wink. 'Maybe he also has feelings for me? Thats great! I don't mind sharing him with Yamada-sensei at all.' She winked back to show that she understood how he felt.

After lunch, classes ran again.

Cecilia with the usual shit talking.

Houki decided to try and trip Yuki by putting her feet out in front of him while walking. She knew she got Yuki.

'Power of Foresight' Yuki thought with a sigh.

He used his time stopping power for 5 seconds to stop and prepare a kick for houki's leg. 'Try to take my legs, I will take yours.'

As soon as time resumed, Yuki discharged the kick like a fifa player. It hit Houki in the back of her knee joint. She folded like a stack of cards onto the floor. And tried attacking him with a shinai. Only to get blocked by the fists of the demon teacher herself.

"SHINONONO, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING? WHY ARE YOU ATTACKING ANOTHER STUDENT?"

"HE KICKED ME FIRST!" Houki tried to put on theatrics and put herself as the victim in the situation.

'Orimura-Sensei will understand and beat her brother. Heheheh.' Houki's emotional/trickster side laughed.

'You shouldn't have done that, you could have been honest and apoligized for your actions. You have disappointed your warrior and shrine-maiden blood.' Houki's logical/warrior side argued.

However,both sides pissed themselves when they got a god-killing glare from Chifuyu.

"I WAS WATCHING YOU, YOU LIAR. YOU TRIED TO TRIP YUKI AND HE RETALIATED IN SELF DEFENSE. SHINONONO, FOR TRYING TO ATTACK ANOTHER STUDENT AND LYING TO A TEACHER. YOU WILL HAVE 1 WEEK OF AFTER SCHOOL DETENTION!"

Even Yuki backed up from his enraged sister but he bumped into someone behind him, he turned to see Madoka and Ichika looking fearfully at Chifuyu. So Yuki said one thing that everyone else agreed to.

"Let's retreat while we still can." Yuki speed walked away like he was being chased by death itself with Madoka and Ichika following him.

They sat down outside the classroom to talk.

"What the hell happened, why is Chifuyu-neesama angry?" Madoka asks

"What? You didn't see it?" Yuki asks

"No, Madoka and I were getting printing paper from the main office." Ichika stepped in to respond.

"That crazy bitch Houki, tried-" Yuki started

"She isn't a bitch!" Ichika protested

"Shut up. If you saw what she was trying you would say the same." Yuki silenced Ichika with a glare.

Yuki explained/yelled out everything (except his usage of his power) including houki trying to play the victim card. Madoka was disgusted with that part and Ichika was disappointed as well. The girls that were listening in on this conversation were also a bit disgusted.

"I see, I would be pissed if someone tried to do that to you too." Madoka agreed with Chifuyu's actions and anger.

"Why did Houki do that?" Ichika asked

To which both Madoka and Yuki shrugged. If Ichika knew the truth he would be too annoying for the next 5 days.

After getting chewed out and sentenced to death/2 weeks because she tried arguing with Chifuyu. Houki sat down and stared out the window.

During class, Yamada was keeping an eye on Yuki mostly. And Yuki was also keeping an eye on her. So there were frequent sweet smiles at each other. Both found it heart-warming that the other cared that much. When Yuki was leaving with Madoka and Ichika in tow. He threw a worried glance at Yamada. Basically telling her to get out of the classroom. Something that didn't go unnoticed and was much appreciated on Yamada's part.

After class ended and everyone filled out of the room. Yuki got up to leave before turning to Yamada,who was packing her things. She noticed him and he waved her a goodbye. To which she also eaved back.

Dinner rolled around.

When Shinonono Houki stepped into the room she was swamped with harsh glares from nearly everyone in the cafeteria including the staff that served there.

The lunch lady that served her food gave it to her with a scoff.

It seemed that Houki fell from her high graces when even Ichika ignored her. He just couldn't believe she would try something like that to anyone, much less his brother.

Houki had a single tear drop as she left the cafeteria with a tray in hand.

Yamada could only stare pitfully at the girl. She also tried to glare at her, but Yuki reached for her hand under the table and gave it a gentle squeeze. Telling her it wasn't worth it. She smiled at his kindness and consideration.

Everyone finished their meals and put away their dishes orderly. Yuki got up and bowed to the staff in thanks. Something that brought warm smiles to each of their faces. He turned to Yamada while no one or close to no one was watching (Chifuyu was always watching) and gave her a chaste kiss and said with a wink:

"Goodnight!"

He left feeling happier then when he got into a fight with Houki.

Chifuyu noticed his happiness and showed a radiant smile that was solely reserved for family. She was happy he wasn't upset.

Yuki got to his room and held it open for Chifuyu to walk in then closed it.

They both changed and laid down in their pajamas.

"Orimura-sensei, I-"

(*SMASH*)

A hit to the head from a pillow welcomed his speaking.

"Just call me without the honourifics, dumbass."

"Owww. Anyways, I wanted to ask you. Do you know what my IS is going to be like?" Yuki said, turning over on his bed while tossing the pillow back.

"I don't know the specs, but I know it's name though."

Yuki closed his eyes while asking:

"What is my IS's name?"

Chifuyu replicated Yuki's actions and also closed her eyes. Uttering one word before falling asleep.

"Satanael."

AN: This is the longest chapter i've written to date lol. Anyways, I just wanted to thank the 15 people who followed and favorited this story. Thank you for your time.

About Yuki going to USA, I am going to be honest I would like to bring some of imherepresent's american oc's to the mix. But am still unsure. I know the author has passed but I feel like if he was still alive. He might have let me use his oc's. Honestly I am going to be using Satella, Cherry, Natalia, and Azela.

Anyways, school is starting up again so forgive me if their is no definitive chapter release dates given.
