Disclamer: I don't own anything except the story.
My Hero Academia is owned by Kōhei Horikoshi
One Piece is owned by Eiichiro Oda
Okay, so I was asked why I've decided to end the story after the Yakuza Arc. The reason why is because I've always felt that the Yakuza Arc is a good climactic arc that truly shows just how far Izuku has come as a hero. I honestly feel that everything after it, while still good, isn't as good as this one was. It's the same with Enies Lobby in One Piece, every else after it is good, but not quite as good.
However, future stories will continue after the Yakuza Arc, it's only this one that will stop.
Chapter 7: USJ Part 1
Izuku sighs as he takes a drink of water, "For the last time, no."
Mina pouts, "Come on Izuku, please?"
Izuku deadpans, "And have you gossip to everyone in school, hell no."
Momo sighs, "Just leave it, Mina, if he doesn't want to, he doesn't want to."
Mina slumps to the table, "Oh fine."
Suddenly, an alarm goes off and everyone else around them starts to panic.
Katsuki frowns, "The hell?"
Izuku points to him, "Kachan, go see what's going on."
Katsuki stands up and walks over to the window, "What the!?"
Iida nods, "What is it?"
"The front gate has been destroyed and the paparazzi scumbags are flooding in."
Izuku frowns, "That's strange."
He turns to Momo and Iida, "We'd better put a stop to this."
The two of them nod in agreement, with Momo using her Quirk to create a small megaphone.
"Everyone calm down!"
This has the desired effect as everyone stops panicking and turn to her.
Iida clears his throat, "There's no reason to panic, the paparazzi has merely managed to get in through the front gate."
The other students all sigh and grumble at having panicked for nothing. With the situation under control, the Class 1-A students sit back down at their table.
Izuku turns to Iida, "Did you hear about our lesson with All-Might?"
The glasses wearing boy nods, "From what I've heard, we will be moving off campus to a more open venue."
Katsuki swallows the rest of his burger, "Sounds like fun."
Eraserhead grumbles as he walks into the classroom, "Alright, for today's lesson, we will be heading out of the campus and will be focusing on different scenarios for heroics."
"Everyone grab your hero costumes and meet me outside."
Izuku pulls his repaired goggles over his eyes as he walks towards the bus with Katsuki, who's gauntlets have also been repaired. Iida and Momo stand at the bus's door and try to orderly get everyone inside. Izuku eventually manages to get a seat towards the middle of the bus, with Ochaco sitting next to him.
Izuku closes his eyes and ignores the chattering of his classmates, until Tsuyu calls his name.
He turns to the frog-like girl, "What is it?"
"Ribbit, I was wondering what made you decide to use a sword?"
Izuku nods, "Well, while I was training for the entrance exam, I discovered that I still have trouble fully controlling how I use the gravity."
"To compensate for this, I practiced more and discovered that I could make things a little easier by channeling the gravitational energy through objects." "So, I came up with the idea for a special cane to help me focus and make things easier to handle."
He smiles, "As for the sword, that was Kachan's idea."
Her eyes widen, "Really?"
He nods, "Yes, he told me about an old movie called Zatoichi."
Kirishima grins, "I know that one, it's about a blind samurai."
Izuku nods, "Yes, it was an intriguing idea and I decided to give a try myself."
"It worked out surprisingly well."
Eraserhead grunts, "Alright, brats, we're here."
The class slowly climb out of the bus and find themselves in front of a large domed building. They walk into the building and arrive at a large central plaza. Eraserhead leads them over to a large fountain where they find a woman dressed in a space suit costume.
Ochaco gushes, "Ah, it's Thirteen, she's my favorite hero."
Izuku chuckles at his girlfriend's excitement.
Eraserhead walks over to the space hero and whispers to her, "Where's All Might?"
"He said that he ran out of time and can't make it."
Eraserhead sighs, "Just great."
Thirteen approaches the students, "Hello, everyone, as you know my name is Thirteen."
"Welcome to the Unforeseen Simulation Joint." "Here, you will be practicing in various different zones that offer different scenarios that you'll be dealing with as you move on in your hero careers."
Thirteen walks over to a small chart which contains a map of the U.S.J. She points to a section of the map, which shows a ruined city.
"First up, we have the Ruins Zone." "This zone involves urban rescue following a disaster, such as an earthquake or hurricane."
She turns to the map and points to a section with a sloped terrain and various debris scattered throughout.
"Next, we have the Landslide Zone." "In this zone, you will be dealing with the possibility of rescuing people who are lost on cliffs or are stuck in a landslide."
She turns to the map and points to an area with a mountain.
"This is the Mountain Zone, which; as you can expect, deals with mountain rescue."
She turns to the map and points to an image of a city on fire.
"This is the Conflagration Zone." "As you can see, this zone focuses on fire rescue."
She once again turns to the map and points to an image of a boat on a lake.
"This is the Flood Zone, which I think speaks for itself."
She points to the final zone, which a city rocked with rain.
"Last, but not least, we have the Downpour Zone." "This zone involves rescuing civilians while dealing with bad weather, such as rain and wind."
She clears her throat, "Now then, let me explain something."
"As you know, my Quirk is called Black Hole." "Now, my Quirk is definitely useful for saving citizens, but it can easily go wrong and kill someone." "This is what I wish to teach you; no matter what the Quirk, it can easily go wrong and kill."
As Izuku listens to Thirteen's monologue, his ears pick up a sound, similar to a Thirteen's Black Hole.
He turns to a spot away from the fountain, which draws attention from Eraserhead.
"What's wrong, Midoriya?"
Izuku grabs his cane and slightly pulls out the blade an inch or two.
"Get everyone back Sensei."
Suddenly, a large vortex of energy opens up into existence. Appearing from the vortex is a young man with white hair and is covered in what appears to be human hands. Appearing next to him is a man in a butler outfit and who's face appears to be made up of shadows.
The teen covered in hands looks around, before snarling.
"I don't see All Might, where is he, Eraserhead?"
The shadowy man hums, "Perhaps we can draw him out by killing his precious students."
Eraserhead pulls down his goggles, "Thirteen, take the students away from here."
Kaminari turns to his teacher, "What's going on, Sensei?"
Eraserhead growls, "This isn't a test, those are actual visions."
Suddenly a large assortment of villains start to pour out of the vortex and start moving towards the students. Thirteen tries to escort the students out of danger, but before they can escape, the shadowy villain raises his hand and causes a large series of portals to appear under the students' feet.
Izuku struggles to keep himself from being sucked in, but is unable to resist the pull. Just before everything goes black, he hears the voice of the shadowy villain.
"Greetings, U.A., we are the League of Villains, and we are here to kill All Might."
"Izuku!"
Izuku gasps as he sits up, "Tsuyu?"
She smiles, "Oh, thank goodness, I was worried there, ribbit."
Izuku slowly climbs to his feet, "What's going on?"
Tsuyu shakes her head, "That shadow villain separated us and sent us to different zones."
"We're in the Flood Zone right now, ribbit."
Izuku frowns, "Is it just you and me?"
She shakes her head, "Mineta is with us."
The grape haired boy runs up to them, "What are we gonna do!?"
Izuku grips his cane as he senses a large amount of presences in the water.
"We're surrounded."
Tsuyu nods, "They've been out there for a while, ribbit."
"But none of them have made any move to confront us."
Izuku scratches his chin, "That's odd."
"You'd think they would have taken the opportunity to try and kill us."
He blinks, "Unless…"
His two companions both turn to him, "What?"
"They don't know what our Quirks are."
Tsuyu's eyes widen, "How can you tell, ribbit?"
He folds his arms, "Well…if they wanted to us to be disadvantaged, why would they send you to the Flood Zone; where your Quirk is at its strongest?"
Tsuyu nods in understanding, "That's true, they should have sent me to the Conflagration Zone instead."
Mineta pounds his palm, "I get it, that's why they haven't attacked us yet."
Izuku nods, "They're warry of us; of what our Quirks might be."
Tsuyu frowns, "So what do you think we should do, ribbit?"
Izuku frowns, "Well, at the very least, we need to get out of here."
"These villains aren't going to wait forever." "Not only that, but I'm not comfortable with leaving Eraserhead-sensei to try and fend off all those other villains by himself."
His companions both nod in agreement, aware that their teacher, no matter how skilled he may be, is still human and has limits.
Izuku scratches his chin, "Alright, here's the plan."
He turns to Mineta, "How many of those grape things can you produce?"
Mineta rubs his chin, "To be honest, I've never really tested it, why?"
"Well, I was thinking, if you can create a bunch of them, I can use my gravity powers to turn them into projectiles."
Mineta nods, "Good idea, if they fly fast enough, they can hit hard."
Tsuyu sticks her tongue out, "What about me, ribbit?"
"Even if I can disorient them, they won't stay down for long." "We'll need you to make us a quick getaway."
She nods, "I can do that, ribbit."
Before anyone can move, the boat rocks as if something has rammed into it.
Izuku clicks his tongue, "Looks like they're getting impatient."
He turns to Mineta, "Let's get started."
So, Mineta starts to pull the grapes out, but reaches his limit of twenty, before he can't make any more.
Izuku taps the deck of the ship with this can and lifts the balls up with his power.
He smirks, "Watch this."
"Hey, dickheads, I've seen fish scarier than you."
This gets the desire result as all the villains get pissed off and start to rant at him. Izuku smirks and starts to shoot the balls at them, striking them like high-speed dodgeballs. The villains all start to shriek as the balls stun and disorient them.
Izuku turns to Tsuyu, "Tsuyu, now."
Tsuyu grabs Izuku and Mineta and leaps from the boat before any of the villains can recompose themselves. Izuku uses his gravity power to give themselves a boost and they manage to reach the shore.
They all release a sigh of relief and they walk in the direction of the Central Plaza. As they move closer to the plaza, Izuku's ears pick up on the sounds of struggle. Once the plaza comes into sight, both Mineta and Tsuyu gasp in shock.
Izuku turns to them, "What's going on?"
Tsuyu licks her lips, "Eraserhead-sensei is behind attacked by some kind of monster."
"It's too strong for him, ribbit."
Izuku frowns, "Go find the others."
They turn to him in shock, "We can't just leave you."
He shakes his head, "Go, we won't be of any help if we all get hurt."
"I need to help sensei."
Mineta shivers, "We'll try and find help, be careful."
Tsuyu nods, "Don't go too far, ribbit."
The two of them run off in a different direction, while Izuku scowls and grips his cane, "What a day."
End of chapter 7.
