Beacon, night

Dominic had abnormal hobbies. One such hobby was smoking on the roof. By smoking, I mean he relaxes and breathes out smoke.

What did you think I meant?

"Do you think Gregory's doing okay? He once survived getting disintegrated, how do you think he's doing?" And that's not even the worst thing he survived.

"I'm not that depressed." Dominic looked down and saw Pyrrha talking to Jaune. "Finally, some drama!" Dominic said excitedly. He very carefully made his way down to the roof they were on. And when that didn't work, he just did that giant ear trick from Harry Potter and listened in.

I'm not going to write their entire conversation because I have a life to live.

"Huh, neat. Who knew? Well, not us obviously. It was rhetori- wait is that Cardin?" He looked down again and saw Cardin talking to Jaune. "This isn't good. What's the plan? Well that depends, what did you bring to this world again? Eureka." He made his way to his dorm and began to plot.

1 month to field trip

Dominic had 1 month to commence his plan, so he worked harder than he ever worked before. He even designed a new weapon for this. "Let's see, what can I do here? Ah, got it!" He got a blueprint and started to make sketches.

5 weeks to field trip

Dominic went to a few Dust shops for an experiment. He tried combining his attacks with Dust to see what would happen, here are the results.

Fire: Creates an explosion twice as potent than normal

Ice: Creates a steam cloud

Lightning: Effect doesn't change other than the color going from yellow to red

Wind: Creates hot winds

Earth: Effect doesn't change other than creating obsidian instead of the usual material

Gravity: Creates a gravity distortion twice as powerful than normal

3 weeks to field trip

Ruby was walking to her next class when she was approached by Dominic. "Ruby, I need some help with a new weapon. I'm trying to find a metal that can resist high amounts of heat, do you have any recommendations?"

"You could try titanium or tungsten."

The scene cuts to Dominic in his dorm, working on a titanium/tungsten alloy. On his desk is something that looks similar to Yang's weapons, but bigger.

1 week to field trip

Dominic was using the Emerald Forest for target practice. His new weapon was basically a plasma gun, but with a reliable power source. Himself.

The Dust experiments from before were for this weapon. With his fire, coupled with the Gunner's technology, created something that could potentially overpower Master Hand. He decided to call it "Pompeii's Fate".

Field trip day (end song)

Team CRDL were all lazing about under trees while Jaune was doing their work for them. Speak of the white devil. (I'm an Ace Ventura fan, sue me)

"Great work, Jauney boy. That wasn't too hard, was it?"

"I think i'm allergic to this stuff."

"I bet you're wondering 'Why did my buddy Cardin have me get 6 jars of sap when there's only 5 of us?'."

"That is one of many questions i've asked myself today, yes."

"Well come with me and you'll find out."

They made their way to a hill where they could see all of Team RWHBY and the remainder of Team JNPR, though Cardin's gaze was locked on Dominic.

Meanwhile with Dominic

Dominic's plan was a bit complex. First, he had a friend of his kill all the Grimm in the area. Now, he was going to have that friend test Jaune's skills. He hears the sound of glass breaking and smiles in anticipation.

Back with CRDL and Jaune

"Let's see how much of a man you really are." Cardin said with animosity. Just then, mooing sound was heard. From the woods came a large creature that resembled a bull. "Tapuu!" It used it's tail to knock Cardin's weapon out of his hands. Russel, Sky, and Dove ran away in fear of the beast.

They ended up running into the rest of the cast. "Grimm, it's got Cardin!" Russel said, making Pyrrha scared for Jaune.

Meanwhile, back with Cardin and Jaune

The creature kept swinging it's arms at Cardin, who narrowly dodged the attacks. It then began to float up, glowing it's horns while charging toward Cardin. He would have been done for if Jaune didn't pull him out of the way.

The beast took some time to study Jaune. It began to bellow, sending a wave of green through the area. Cardin ran away in terror, grabbing his weapon.

(Tapu battle theme, Pokemon)

The beast glowed it's horns again while rushing at Jaune, who blocked using his shield. He then slashed with his sword, doing minimal damage.

While Jaune was doing battle, Pyrrha, Weiss, Ruby, and Dominic watched. The 3 huntresses-in-training didn't know what to make of the bull-like beast. Dominic on the other hand was surprised that Jaune could hold his own against a Legendary Pokemon. The beast was about to attack with it's tail. Jaune raised his shield in preparation, only for it to go a smidge too far up. Pyrrha noticed and used her semblance to help. Jaune ended up hitting it's shell.

Jaune, Pyrrha, Weiss, and Ruby thought that would just make the beast angrier, but Dominic began to smile knowingly. "Tapuu! Tapuu!" the beast bellowed, causing the terrain to go back to normal. It then left.

"What?" Ruby asked, confused.

"How did you?" Weiss asked, also confused.

"Well Ruby has her speed, you have your glyphs, Dominic has-. Wait, what is your semblance?" Dominic realized he never used his powers in front of anyone except Yang and Ruby.

"I can manipulate heat." Dominic said, half-lying. He CAN control heat, but that's only one very small facet of his vast moveset. That OP moveset is part of why I had to rewrite this. But enough about my poor planning, back to RWBY stuff.

"Okay. Ruby: speed, Weiss: glyphs, Dominic: heat. And my semblance is polarity." Pyrrha says a bit proudly.

"Wow, you can control poles." Cue hysterical laughter from Dominic.

"No you dunce, it means she has control over magnetism!"

"Magnets are cool too."

Dominic begins to walk off, much to the confusion of the other three. "Shouldn't we tell him what happened?"

"I don't care what you do now, but i'm going to break someone's legs." he said. He left soon after.

"What do you guys think that bull thing was?" Pyrrha wonders aloud.
