"Issei!" The girls yelled as they saw him standing on the central pathway.

"It worked!" Rias yelled as she felt the light whip loosen its grip, Raynare's attention was now solely focused on Issei.

"How did you break from my nightmares, you were crippled by them but you broke free?!"

"I had help from my friends who made me realise I was worthy of being loved. They helped me see that my fears were not true and that they had the same feelings for me as I do for them! You have caused my friends to much harm and I cannot let that continue!" Issei yelled as he slowly walked towards Raynare

"You bastard, you have no right to feel such love for what you did to me, you loved me didn't you? yet you let me die at your masters hands! How could someone who loves you leave you to die!" Raynare screamed, she didn't believe a word she was saying, using it only as a taught hoping it would make Issei overthink his next move

"Don't listen to her Issei!" Akeno called to Issei.

"I know your game Raynare! But I wont fall for it again... ill be taking back what is rightfully mine." Issei stated as she stopped in his tracks and stretched his let hand out as he did so Ddraig's gem started to glow brightly

"What!" Raynare yelled as she saw that as the gem glowed, the armour she was wearing was beginning to disappear, each plate retracting in on themselves and as Raynare looked to Issei she saw that the gauntlet was being to reform on his left arm.

No! You bastard...i don't need your power, I killed you once I can do it again!" Rayner screamed, fear marking her voice as she saw the armour complete disappear showing her normal form, which was still injured from Rias's Extinguishing Star.

"Is that so..." Issei smirked as he saw his gauntlet restored to its original position.

"Dragonshot!" Ddraig called as a bolt of energy flew from the gauntlet striking Raynare in the chest blasting her back down the pathway her scream echoing in the abyss, blood pouring from her mouth from the blunt force trauma.

"It good to be back partner" Ddraig called as Issei nodded in agreement and walked down to deal with Raynare

"Once Raynare crashed landed, she looked to see that she was completely surrounded, by Rias and the rest of the girls, who while still worn out, had enough left in the tank to deal with Raynare. Raynare tried to stand but her legs gave way, she was completely exhausted, and her hopes of flying away where dashed when she tried to move her wings but they had been broken by the force of the blow, which rendered her flightless

"So this is how it ends, killed by a group of weaklings" Raynare thought as she lifted her head to see Issei stopping in front of her.

"Issei its great to have you back, how you feeling?" Rias asked her voice filled with joy.

"Much better thanks to you all!" Issei stated as he looked to the girls who were all smiling at him.

"So how are we dealing with her?" Koneko groaned.

"We need to get remove her but we don't have enough skill with soul manipulation magic expel her soul so the only option is..." Rias grumbled, trying to figure how best to put the solution out but she was cut off by Issei.

"To destroy her soul"

"Yes...ill do it..." Rias sighed only for Issei to again interrupt her.

"No.I'll do it...i should have done it the first time, but I didn't have the guts to deal with it, and now after everything she's done to everyone I care about, I have to be the one to get rid of her! Issei growled clenching his fist.

After a pregnant silence Rias looked to Issei and nodded in support of his decision followed by the rest of the girls supporting his decision. The girls backed off a little while still keeping their eyes of Raynare in case she makes any sudden movements,

"So, before I die, I have to ask, how did you take Ddraig from me?

"I can answer that...you had control only because Issei was incapacitated and his mental state was weakened by your nightmares allowing you to use him to bide your presence while use my power, but once he broke from your curse thanks to the girls. Issei is my true wielder and once he was back to normal, his access to the power took precedent to yours allowing him to return to his true state...is that enough of an explanation of sadistic bitch?!" Ddraig growled obviously pissed that he had been fooled for so long and had failed to protect his partner and his friends from harm.

Raynare was silent, she had not taken in Ddraig's words, instead using the moment to think off a plan to somehow take back control.

I think that's your time up Raynare. Goodby..." Issei groaned as he raised his left hand up to Raynare's head ready to release a close range Dragonshot. But as he looked at Raynare he saw her quickly shapeshifting into an all to familiar form.

"Yuma" the girls gasped at the sight.

"Please Issei, I'm so sorry! I wish I had never allowed this to happen..."

Issei watched her in silence, lowering his left hand slightly

"Raynare has me under her spell, she used me to bait you, but I cant let her he do that again, please get me out of here and free me from her grasp..."

Issei, she's trying to draw you in again don't listen to her lies!" Ddraig bellowed in Issei's head.

"Issei will you help me I need you in my life because...i love you!" Yuma cried as tears streamed from her eyes.

"She loves me?" Issei thought

"I cant kill someone who loves me...but she has caused me so much pain...i hurt my friends because of her!"

" Issei listen, she's just trying to break your heart again so she cant take control!" Rias yelled knowing all to well Raynare's plan

"Ill stop her" Akeno stated as she raised her hand and charged up bolt of lightning, bit Issei raided his right hand asking her to stop.

"I cant be myself if she lies to me again..."

"I know your lying..." Issei mumbled.

"No I'm not, with all my heart, I love you...please don't kill me!" Yuma cried in fear.

"Do you remember what you said to me...the night you killed me?"

Yuma was silent.

"Would you die for me? I had had those words play in my head every day since you killed me, every time i get close to those I love, I hear those words! You have scarred me for life, and I cant take that anymore!"

"Please Issei it wasn't me it was Raynar..."

"SHUT UP! Ive made my choice!" Issei yelled has tears streamed from his face.

"NOOOO PLEASE!" Yuma screamed, her plan had failed and she was running out of options.

"Goodbye...Yuma" Issei whispered as he raised his right hand and charged up his attack.

"NOOOOOO!" Yuma started to change into Raynare hoping to land a strike before she died but she was too late

"Dragonshot!" Ddraig bellowed as Issei beared witness to Raynare being engulfed in pure energy, as she slowly turned to ash her cries lasting only a few seconds.

"After a the beam stopped their was nothing left of Raynare, Issei looked at the spot, and grimaced.

"You okay Issei," Rias asked as she jogged over to him and hugged him.

"Yeah...i think its time to head back" Issei sighed, he had done what he needed to but It still hurt him to do so.

" Okay, see you on the side Issei" Rias whispered as she kissed him and walked over to the girls who where surprised to see that Issei wasn't happy. Rias raised her hands and summoned a symbol, which notified Azazel that the job was done, and they started to fade away in aglow of white light, however before they left, they saw the black void melt away to reveal the moments that Issei held most dear, with the largest of which being a snapshot of Issei with the entire peerage, they where all smiling and laughing, bring a smile and a tear to each of the girls eyes before they returned to the bodies.

"I think its time to wake up Issei." Ddraig droned knowing how difficult the decision was that Issei made,

"I know." Issei sighed as he closed his eyes and focused on waking up.

A bright flash of white light occurred in his mind. Which lasted for less than a second and the next thing Issei saw was the ceiling of the clubroom.

"Its good to be back" Issei thought.
