The following morning, I told Jon everything. He needed to know. Yes, I knew the risks, but what could Jason do to the son of Superman, who was bullet proof? Okay, I knew Jason had Kryptonite, but things would be easier if Jon knew the truth. You know, to save some unnecessary drama and stuff.
"Jason is so stupid! Man I hate that guy!" cried Jon.
"Keep your voice down. I'm telling you this because it happened last night. It can happen again." I told him.
"Did you tell anyone else?" asked Jon.
"Not yet. I'll tell father and the others what happened." I told him.
"Great. So the Red Hood sees himself like some sort of Holy king." said Jon.
"We can stop him if we knew where he is." I said.
"And we can. We are going to jump city to meet the Titans. You'll like them." said Jon.
"Do I have to?" I asked. I wasn't really a people person. Especially with kids my own age. Sort of. The Titans were diverse in age from 10 to 19 years.
"You'll love them! They are the nicest group of super kids you'll ever meet." said Jon with a lot of enthusiasm. I rolled my eyes and let out a sigh.
I told my father everything and the others were alerted right away. Because the Red Hood knew our every move, everyone knew that Jason might not expect me to tell them about the proposition Jason laid on me the night before. This was in fact a huge advantage. Jason was never going to expect that my father would know about any of that. Anyway, with that aside, we went to Jump City in Dick's special Nightwing Car. I really don't know if there was a name for this thing. It was like a Batmobile copy.
We arrived at Titan Tower and greeting us were a few Titans. A half naked looking woman wearing totally revealing clothes floated towards us. This was Starfire, the Princess of the planet Tamaran.
"Nightwing, you brought us guests." said Starfire.
"Hey baby." said Jon sweetly to her. Starfire gave Jon a huge kiss on his cheek. "Nice to see you little angel pie." said Starfire as Jon was enchanted with her kiss. She then turned to me.
"And this grumpy one must be Damian. Welcome to Titan Tower." she said rather professionally. I liked that. Being Batman's son did have it's advantages.
"Thank you." I replied, bowing my head.
Three more Titans arrived to greet us. Cyborg, a giant half robot man shook my hand and saluted me. "Welcome soldier." he said in a very deep yet friendly voice. I saluted back.
"So your the new guy. Awesome possum. Beast Boy here." said the green looking fellow with sharp teeth and pointy green ears. I shook his hands.
"Nice to meet you. So it's true you transform into any creature?" I asked. I really wanted to see if the legends were true.
"You are talking to the entire Animal Kingdom. I can transform into any living being, even a germ if I want to. However, I am choosey with my animals. I can't be a bug for safety reasons you know." said Beast Boy.
"How about something big like a dinosaur?" I asked.
Jon quickly covered my mouth. "No! No T-Rex. Last time Garfield turned into one, he made a huge fart! It took days for the stench to go away!" cried Jon.
"You are such a crybaby Jon. It was only a little fart." said Beast Boy.
"A lethal one!" cried Jon.
I tried not to chuckle, but then I saw behind Beast Boy another Titan. A hooded girl with purple robes and holding a red amulet on her chest. The sight of her gave me goosebumps. I waved at her, and she simply nodded slowly. I took it she was not the talkative type. The girl turned around and opened the doors for us to get inside.
Once we entered the building, we met other Titans such as Miss Martian, Wonder Girl, and Blue Beatle. Also, there were two Aqualads in the arcade room where there were a ton of arcade machines. One of them was the son of the King of Atlantis, and the other was the son of the wicked Black Manta. I waved at the two merboys and they waved back with smiles on their faces. I walked up to them and we hit it off great.
Jon and I then went into a hall with books shelves and a ton of other literature. I would have spent hours in that room. The only ones there was Zatanna, and the girl in the purple hood, reading a Harry Potter book.
"You might love this. This is the library." said Jon.
"Yes. So... how many Titans are there?" I asked.
"A few now. Most of them are in the Justice League. The older you get, the more the League notices you. The youngest member in the league right now is my brother, Conner." said Jon.
"Oh yeah you have a brother! Is he... does he know what's going on?" I asked him.
Jon nodded. "My mom called him the night Dad was shot. He was very upset. He's away on a mission to the Green Lantern Corps. Apperantly, there is a ton of political stuff going on in space." said Jon.
"Your family sure is busy." I said.
"Not as busy as yours." said Jon.
"So, your Batman's son?" asked the girl in the purple hoodie.
"Raven, meet Damian Wayne." said Jon.
"It's not wise to tell me his real name, especially to someone who could become evil at the last moment." said "Raven."
"Raven your one of us. There's no way you could become evil." said Jon.
"What happened to Terra?" asked Raven.
"Who?" I asked.
"Long story. I'll tell you at lunch." said Jon.
"Jon, why are you back in the tower. I thought you and your father had some things to do?" asked Raven.
"I came to show my new friends around." said Jon.
"Yeah. I'm learning so much." I told Raven.
"I see. You are looking at your surroundings and getting to know which is which." said Raven.
"Yes. Everyone here has been nice so far." I said.
"Careful though. Not everyone is what they seem." said Raven.
"There you go again with your mystical mumbo jumbo and fortune telling. We are super heroes Raven! There's no way we can become evil." said Jon.
"Your naivet'e never ceases to amaze me." said Raven.
I quickly broke the ice. "Okay, well it's nice to meet you Raven. So tell me... you can see the future?" I asked.
"Not really. I can sense when something is about to happen. But I cannot see the future. I do not have that power." said Raven.
"Good for you. I sense the future is very bleak for everyone." I said, sounding a bit too gloomy.
"You two are alike." said Jon chuckling.
"He makes more sense than you Jon." said Raven.
"What does Beast Boy see in you?" asked Jon waving his arms.
"What?" I asked.
Raven then walked towards the door very slowly, like a ghost. I felt chills down my spine, but I tried to hide it.
