Chapter 6 Christmas, First day of School

Third P.O.V

Alex and Izumi started to train for the entirety of the first week. Once Izumi's had become accustomed to the weighted gi, Alex had introduced her to some weights to use to increase her strength. During Izumi's training Alex would mediate. One day the two decided to do jogs around the island.

Izumi was a little behind Alex since he was was more used to jogging. A thought had occurred to her that she needed to ask "So Alex, How did you learn about Ki?" Alex kept looking forward but still answered "When my Sensei took care of me, he taught me some basics about it. Then he taught me some advance stuff."

This caught Izumi's curiosity. "What do you mean advance stuff?" had asked a little winded from her jogging. Alex had smiled when she asked this and stopped and urged Izumi to stop as well. Alex turned to Izumi "Why don't I show you?" he said confidently. He urged Izumi to take a step back as he faced the ocean.

Alex hadn't tried this yet. His Ki control had improved a lot since he and Izumi started to train. However Alex had not attempted the move his master had created. The Kamehameha. Alex was nervous. If he messes up, he could do damage to his arms.

Alex took a deep breath. He got in a stance and cupped his hands to his side. "Ka..." Alex had started. Ki coming from his arms to his palms together. A small blue orb begins to form. "Me..." Alex continued, the blue orb of Ki continues to grow slightly bigger.

Izumi looks in awe. The way he was focused, the determined look in his eye. It drew her concentration to him. Izumi eyes grew wider as the orb became bigger as Alex continues "Ha..." The orb becomes bigger.

Alex continues pouring Ki into that sing point. "Me..." Alex continues until the orb becomes the size of a large baseball. Realizing its completely, Alex launched his arms forward bring his wrist together, and opening his cup hands.

"HAAAAAAAA" Alex shouts as the ball of energy realises into a beam of energy, that was almost as large as he was across the ocean. The beam soars across the water as it parts on both sides of the beam. The beam continues for 10 seconds before it dissipates. Alex let's his arms hang at his sides. He looks down to seem the shaking a bit and he realizes that he cant feel them too much right now.

Alex tells himself "A little more training, I'm close." As Alex looks back at Izumi, she looks in awe and shock. "Alex has that much power...and hes just my age. How strong can he get?" Izumi thought. Snapping herself out her shock, she got up and started praising Alex. Saying things like how that was incredible, or how powerful he was, or even how focused he look.

Alex then says "That may have been strong, but my arms are a little numb. Until I can perfect my Ki control, that move is too dangerous for me to use. Now come on Let's get something to eat. I'm starving after that." Alex then chuckles realizing that the Kamehameha drained a good chunk of energy out of him. Izumi nods as the two make it into the house.

After that day Izumi and Alex train harder with the time they had left. When the time came for the two to go back, they had both become stronger. When the two left, they had decided to being some weighted gi with them so continue training.

Izumi no longer looked small for her age. Her muscles have increased. Not too dramatically, but enough to be a noticable difference. Although like Alex had promised himself, he did not show her how to use Ki

Alex hadn't change all that much. He kept up with physical training, but he mostly used this time to mediate and regain a bit control of Ki and also trained his quirk. Which in the end was successful. His quirk was easier to use and he had discovered that although it wasnt much, he had a small resistance to fire. He also is now able to do some techniques that Roshi had shown him with little to no difficulty. With the exception of the Kamehameha, he would need more time.

When they had returned home, Inko had teared up seeing how Izumi was different. Well physically different. Emotionally and mentally, well...

"Mom please don't. If you cry mom, I'll cry." Izumi had cried out as mother and daughter hugged each other.

Let's just say that even if Roshi had been the one to train her, she would still be the same emotional girl we know.

After their reunion, the three spent their last days of break just relaxing. With Alex reminding Izumi of the turtle hermit way. "Sleep and study well, train hard, and eat plenty." is what Alex would say when she asked why they were relaxing.

As christmas arrived, Alex had left very early in the morning on nimbus. Alex was not expecting a gift since they did so much to help him, he was ok if he didnt receive anything. However, he would be damned if he didnt get the two Midoriyas anything. For Inko, Alex had decided to fly nimbus to Kame House so he could dive into the ocean and find pearls for a bracelet.

It took longer than anticipated, but eventually he did get them...after fighting a squid but that's a story for another time. As for Izumi that was a hard one. A week after he first moved in, Alex had discovered she was not only a superhero fangirl, but also a All Might fangirl. It made him chuckle as he remember the time he spent with all might.

Thankfully Alex had an idea. Thanks Nezu for both the monthly money and connections, Alex had found a perfect present for Izumi. A small necklace with a face of all might engraved into it. Alex had it costumed order, and he had money to pay for it. Once Christmas had arrived Alex had everything ready.

Alex was the first to wake up due to early training, as he walked into the living room. Alex looked at both gifts he had. He had trouble making the bracelet for Inko, but thankfully he had help when he visited a jewelry store asking for tips about it. The necklace he had hoped that Izumi would like it.

As Alex tried to wrap his gift he didnt hear Inko sneak up behind him. "Alex what are you doing?" Alex had jump a bit, not expecting it. "Oh you know, just playing with the wrapping paper hehe." Alex had chuckled out hoping that Inko believed him.

Unfortunately she did not, but decided to play along. "Ok Alex, just dont make a mess." She says as she walks away. After Alex had...somewhat successfully wrapped the paper, He had hid them away so the presents wouldn't be spotted so soon. Eventually Izumi had awaken and the three gathered around in the living room.

Inko was the first person Alex and Izumi had given gifts to. Izumi had given her mom a framed photo of the two of them a year ago. Needless to say she was tearing up as she hugged Izumi. Alex's gift had shocked Inko as she knew that the pearls on the bracelet were real.

Inko was stunned "Ho...How did you get these? This had to be expensive." she exclaimed. Alex rubs his head. "I left early yesterday morning to get the pearls themselves. Had to swim underwater to get them. As for the whole making them into a bracelet, I went to a nearby Jewlery place and they helped me." Alex had explained.

Inko was shocked and hugged him and thanked him. Alex hugged back, mentally thanking any god listening that she didnt cry too much. Next up with Izumi. Inko had gotten Izumi a limited addition All Might figure that looked expensive. Alex had given her his gift and needless to say Izumi was crying like her mother.

After Alex had explain how he had gotten it, Izumi had tackled him and hugged tightly as if he would disappear if she let go. Alex although did hear "Thank you, you've made this christmas wonderful." which he smiled and hug Izumi back.

Once that was over Alex had expected that to be the end. However Inko and Izumi had pulled out one different gift each. Inko had given Alex an orb, it was an orange and it had 7 stars stuck inside it. It felt special. Alex spoke "Where did you get this? This looks beautiful. It had to be expensive."

Inko had smiled "While I was looking for Izumi's gift, I had stumbled across this beautiful thing. I thought you would love it." she had explained. Alex held the orb in his hand, it felt right to carry like this, it felt like there was something more about it. Questions for later though.

Alex hugged Inko. "Thank you." he muttered. Inko hugged back. After the hug, Alex looked at Izumi who was holding out a bag. Alex grabbed the bag and looked inside and inside was two things, a unique framed picture and a gi.

Alex pulled out the gi first. It was all black with the exception of the belt being white. The wristbands were white as well. The gi shoes were black, however the soles were white along with the ankle part being white as well. There was no undershirt, so the Gi would show off his chest muscles. It looked a bit big for him but he would most likely grow into it.

Alex then pulled out the frame picture. it opened up and it had two sides. One side being a picture of Alex and Izumi during their training. With Izumi on his back while holding Alex's head for a selfie. The two smiling. One the other side it had some writing.

When I wanted to be a hero you said yup

When I lose, you picked me back up

When I wanted to quit you said nope

You're my hero Alex

Because you gave me hope.

Alex could feel tears brim his eyes. He got up and walked to Izumi. Izumi backed up a bit since Alex didn't say anything when he walked towards her. She suddenly yelped as Alex pulled her into a hug. "Thank you." is all he said as Izumi could feel the tears hit her shoulder. Izumi blushed at being held this long. Fortunately for her Alex didnt notice.

Unfortunately though her mom did. The only thought that came to Inko mind was "My baby is in love."

After that day, the three became closer than ever before. As time passed by before they knew it, it became the morning of the first day back to school. During the rest of the break Inko had done the necessary paper work for Alex to attend Izumi's middle school. Alex had received a uniform to wear much to his dismay.

Alex could only mentally prepare as to what school would have to offer him.

Alex's P.O.V

As I look at my uniform I decided to get some light training in while at school. Before I put my uniform on, I decided to put the turtle school training gi under my clothes minus the boots. It was a nice way to help me not only limit my strength but also make me a bit stronger in the process.

After putting my uniform over the uniform I look myself in the mirror. I looked a little bulky, but besides that it isn't too much of a change. I smile. First day of school. I got this.

I hear a knock as I open the door to see Inko standing there. She came in to help me tidy up my uniform on places I couldn't figure out. I didn't have much trouble with it. Just a few things were out of place here and there. I laughed as she get to an area in my neck. More specifically the right area where the neck meets the torso.

In that certain spot I'm ticklish. If this had been any other day, Inko would have exploited that and tickle me until I was breathless, but since today is the first day of school she doesn't. After looking me over, she puts a hand on my shoulder. "Alex, dont be nervous. Its your first day of school, but you're going to be fine" She reassures me.

I smile. I didn't say anything about being nervous, but she could tell. I look and nod to her "Thank you." I reply with a smile. Inko smiles back as we walk to the living room to the living room to where Izumi was waiting. She probably was just wearing the uniform, because I hadn't informed her about the weighted gi training I'm doing.

I also thought of it as quirk training. As my body is covered in layers of heat, I want to see if I'm able to increase how long my body can handle the extra heat that the gi brings. Theories to test later though.

After Inko made sure we had everything, which was embarrassing because I forgot my pencils. I pick up my backpack and we leave to the start of a new experience for me.

20 minutes later

After walking there we finally made it to the school. I had honestly expected it to be bigger. I've been known to be wrong though. I asked Izumi if she wanted to walk with me to the front office to get my schedule. Izumi agreed and we walked.

During our walk there people were looking at us. More specifically they were looking at Izumi. It made sense to me. Before break started she wasn't that big in the muscles department, she was small. Since our training however, shes bulked up, gaining a lot of noticable muscle. She isn't as big as a giant manic who would scream about carrots, but from how it looked she looked a bit more intimidating than before. (AN: See what I did there...Broly...I'm sorry I'll leave.)

After entering the office and getting my schedule, we walked out and take a look. I'm surprised. Nezu's letter said I'll be getting extra classes, but from what Izumi and I can tell, it appears to be that i have the same amount of classes as Izumi does.

I look at homeroom and I realize that me and Izumi are together there. Which follows two class periods, then lunch, then the last two of the day. In fact the classes are oddly enough the same as Izumi's. For some reason it feels weird but I shake it off.

Izumi and I head for homeroom, which a man stops me, who Izumi tells me is the homeroom teacher. The teacher has me wait outside with him while the students walk into the room.

During the wait I notice one boy in particular, he has short blond hair and red eyes. When he took a glance at me, he sorta glared at me. If I didnt know any better, that was his sign to just say "I'm better than you." I smile. This year is going to be interesting.

After all the students had gone inside, the homeroom teacher told me to stay out of the class which I listened. After waiting i hear the homeroom teacher call me inside. I take a deep breathe and I walk in.

Inside I notice there were probably 19 kids in here. I see Izumi's hair near the back. I stand in front of the class looking at the students who I'm spending the next year and a half with. I look around and I see many unique individuals. Even a kid who can pull out his eyes out of his sockets.

I hear the teacher speak "Mr.Washington, introduce yourself." I nod. I decided to just be rather honest without revealing what I want secret. I began "Hello, I'm Alex Washington. I came from California. I have a Fire quirk, and I like to train and fight." I finish looking around at the class.

Izumi gives me a thumbs up, The blond kid from earlier scoffs and turns away. The is sorta mixed. Most of the boys arent really paying attention, however the girls have a different reaction. Except Izumi, all the girls are leaning forward smiling af me. I try my best to ignore it.

The homeroom teacher speaks "That was a nice introduction, Theres a free seat in the corner of the room next to window." I nod as I walk there. On the way there the blond hair kid sticks his foot out to trip. I notice and I walk over it. I could feel a small bit of rage seething off of him as I sit down.

As I sit, I prepare myself for the rest of the day to see what could happen. I start to wonder about something. Something that's bothered me since I got here. Izumi was bullied, that I figured out. Whenever we talked she never mentioned the bully's name. Now I'm only left with this one thought.

"Who could it be?"

Third P.O.V

After homeroom, Alex had decided to pay more attention to how Izumi was treated. During the first two classes besides some girls getting close to Alex, nothing change. It wasnt until lunch when Alex had to use the bathroom did he notice something. On his way back, he had notice the blond kid walk away from Izumi, but she had this look on her face that Alex recognized.

Fear.

Alex had decided to not say anything until after school. Nothing special happened during lunch after that or in third period. However that changed in gym class. Firstly they had to change into their P.E clothes, which was a pain for Alex. When Alex had come out, every girl had a large blush on their face. With a few guys seething here and there

When Izumi came out, was when Alex notice the blond kid become enrage. Izumi was small before, but the blonde seeing Izumi's body being completely different angered something in him. Alex notices this and pull Izumi to the side. "Who's the blonde kid thats been staring at you in anger?" Alex had ask.

Izumi looks confused for a split second before her face sparked with realization "That's ba...Bakugo, he used to be my childhood friend until he found out that I'm...you know." She replied. She didn't have to finish that sentence. Alex had a feeling it involved her quirklessness.

Alex had decided to drop it until they got home. During Gym, Alex and Izumi had dominated the gym activities. During jogs, Alex and Izumi outlasted everyone due to the weighted clothes they had wore during their time training. The game that day was dodgeball and Alex was the only person to not get hit once during this due to his Ki training. Saying that the girls develop a crush on him was the biggest understatement of the year.

Everyone was impressed by Alex and Izumis skills. All except one person. Bakugo. Who Alex could tell that if Bakugo had a fire quirk, he would activate it very easily.

Bakugo was felling enraged "How the Fuck did Deku become so much better? And who is this new fucking extra? Hes not here for a day and he trying to upstage me? I'll make him pay...I will fucking kill him. Hes not better than me." Bakugo has furiously thought in his head.

After gym, The first day back had officially ended as Alex and Izumi started to walk home. Near the apartment complex. Alex had sense something behind him. He stopped walking only for Izumi to immediately notice. "Alex are you ok?" She asked with worry in her voice. Alex turned around to see Bakugo appear from around the corner.

Alex looked at the blonds eyes to see what he wanted. He had a theory of what Bakugo wanted. It was only confirmed by the blond boys next words "You and me, right now, you fucking bastard!" Bakugo had shouted as he pointed a finger to Alex.

Just when Alex wanted a normal day, this happened. He has terrible luck sometimes.
