A/N: It's Here, chapter seven! FYI- I like All Might so he is going to be good in this story but that won't stop Aizawa from hunting him down for his stupid mistakes of the past.

Izuku Midoriya woke up with tiny hands wrapped around him. Eri was snuggling against his side. He frowned at her red puffy cheeks and frown that shouldn't ever belong on a face that young. He paused and tried to remember what happened.

Right...

They know...

Aizawa-Sensei said... No he was probably trying to get me to stop being such a crybaby.

Unless he actually cares...

No don't get your hopes up.

You are on your own, like you always have been.

He slowly sat up so that the little girl against him wouldn't be woken up. He placed her head on the pillow, tucking her in before getting a good look at the unfamiliar room. His phone had somehow been taken out of his backpack and placed on the nightstand next to his bed. With a quick glance he realized it was still the same night, just later. School hadn't even been out when he had broke down crying and now it was already 8:30-(or 20:30). Guess time does fly when you cry yourself to sleep.

He took a deep breathe before opening the door. Okay, guess he's in the teachers dorms.

Great...

He walked down the hallway till he reached the corner that turned into the common room/kitchen area. He stopped and peaked around the corner holding his breathe when he noticed his teachers gathered around the couches. Most of them were on the couches, only a few opting to sit on the floor. Even All Might was there.

And their talking about me. Great...

All Might must be so disappointed in me.

If he would have listened in he would have heard the teachers talking about how to help him. If he hadn't cowered to the bathroom he would have noticed the tears falling down his idols face. Maybe he would have noticed All Might's silent pledge to help him get better. Maybe he would of found a stronger hope than the one he was carrying inside. Maybe the too big and heavy chains that he constantly dragged around would be lifted. Maybe he would have seen that there was people willing to help remove and carry those chains. But once again he missed it all choosing to hide in the bathroom on the other side of the hall.

- All Might POV -

All Might was not expecting to get a call about his successor running out of his class in tears. He was quick to get up and try getting more information. He ran into Present Mic carrying a crying Eri who said Aizawa would explain what was happening. It took less than an hour for him to find Aizawa carrying a familiar green-haired sleeping child out of the woods. He ran as fast as he could to check on his boy. He wanted to ask Aizawa what had happened immediately but was quickly stopped by his coworkers glare.

"Wait till we get him settled at the dorms."

"Isn't his dorm easier to get to from the other path?"

"Teachers dorms."

"Wha- never mind."

Even though he was confused about why Midoriya was being brought to the teachers dorms and not the student dorms, he kept his mouth shut. He could keep his curiosity at bay if it was for the good of his successor. He waited till after Aizawa had came out of the spare bedroom with empty arms to ask what was going on. He didn't like the response he received.

After he talked with Aizawa for a while, he went outside to think. He couldn't believe he hadn't noticed. His poor boy. What else had the teachers missed? Do any other students need help? Were they really too focused on the league to notice something like this?

Pathetic...

What made him feel worse was the fact that this could of all been resolved if he had read those stupid files at the beginning of the year. Instead two of his students were suffering from his mistakes.

He sat on the porch till the other teachers headed in from their classes. Usually they stayed in the teacher lounges doing work for a while but it was clear that they all wanted to check on Midoriya.

Eri came running up to him, completely out of breathe she froze for a second before opening her mouth, "Is Deku-nii okay?"

"He's asleep." Toshinori answered.

He stood up, dusting off his pants before heading in with the other teachers. He noticed Eri had started crying again as she walked over to go see Izu-nii. The poor girl was probably blaming herself sense she had been the one to share what Midoriya had told her.

It didn't take long for the teachers to gain news that Eri had fallen asleep on Midoriya. It didn't take long for them to decide to make dinner and do some work to ease the tension before talking about the elephant in the room. He tried resting for a bit but the thoughts of his successor facing pain all alone for years with no one to go to stopped him. Nana would probably be so disappointed in him for not noticing sooner. He had spent so much time with the boy and just hadn't noticed. What kind of mentor was he to not notice the pain of his student? No, better question what kind of hero was he to not notice? How many times did the boy come to the beach with new bruises. Did the boy ever beg for someone to notice his pain and help him?

Did he ever beg for you to notice? What kind of fool am I?

He should have tried learning more about how to properly teach before starting at U.A. It hadn't been till after his final fight as a hero that he realized how much more effort he needed to put into training the young Midoriya.

After a while they all ended up in the common area. Toshinori noticed how all the teachers were looking around; it was clear to him that everyone was wanting to talk about the issue at hand without starting the conversation. Of course as soon as Aizawa walked into the room he didn't waste any time, starting the conversation.

"I wasn't able to talk with Midoriya yet... at least not fully. The kids gonna need a lot of help if we want to save him."

"Darn right Shou... I just wish we had realized it beforehand." Unsurprisingly it was Present Mic that had responded first.

"We should have noticed sooner, yes, but we can't go back and change the past. It's no excuse but all the villain attacks this year have made us forget about some of our other teaching duties. We need to make it up to the students who haven't been given our best this year."

Aizawa's speech seemed to hit all the teachers pretty hard. None of them could deny the truth behind his statement. That is the disadvantage of having two jobs, just because one gets hard doesn't mean you have the right to slack on the other.

Toshinori couldn't help but blame himself for the increase of hero work. If he hadn't been forced to retire the teachers could of spent more time teaching.

"We need to talk to Nedzu about a better system and how to make this up to the students." Aizawa said.

Toshinori thought about those words, sitting in the silence as everyone else tried to think of ideas. Surprisingly something came to his brain. Something that might just help.

"We could try giving the kids a break."

The words slipped out of his mouth before he could stop them.

"A break?" Snipe was the one to question what exactly he had meant.

"Yes. I know we had the cultural festival not to long ago but we could try giving the kids some time off. We could take a week or two to take the young students places and let them enjoy just being kids for once."

"Surprisingly that isn't a bad idea. Although I think we should also have the kids have at least one therapy session with Hound Dog." At this point all the teachers knew that was Aizawas way of giving Toshinori a compliment.

"Augh-I-Augh-woof-think that would be-a-great idea, especially for Midoriya." Hound dog took a second to calm down before speaking again. "Judging from the info you found so far, we should also put Bakugou in anger management therapy. I think he realizes, at least somewhat realizes that how he treated Midoriya was wrong but from now on we need to be stricter with him. Depending on how bad it is we might have to set in restrictions for him until he learns better."

"I don't know if you knew but when checking his file I noticed he has hearing loss from his constant explosions. I don't remember seeing him get approved hearing aids for his hero costume. We need to make sure he has the special quirk-proof hero hearing aids if he doesn't already have them. Power Loader can you check the support item applications to see if he has received them. If not get a pair right away, and Hizashi I'll leave you in charge of teaching him how to use them." Aizawa said.

Thinking about it, Aizawas words made sense to him. Whenever they had hero training Bakugou seemed to yell even more than before.

Just how badly had he hurt his students by not checking those files.

What an idiot...

"As for Midoriya I'll talk to him when he wakes up. Once I get a better idea of the situation, we can decided where to go from there. Either way I think Nedzu's gonna be busy destroying an entire school district."

With that Aizawa was done speaking and curled up in the bright yellow sleeping bag of his.

"Well I think Shou's done for now! The food's all ready if anyone is hungry. Lunch rush already made a plate of food for Eri and Midoriya so don't hold back." Up until this point Midnight had been standing in between the kitchen and the lounge. "Sorry for the delay, I didn't want to interrupt the discussion."

Toshinori watched as everyone besides himself and the still asleep Aizawa left the lounge.

He didn't know how much time had passed but it must of been a while because Midnight shook him back into the present, holding a worried look on her face.

"I know you deeply care for the boy but that doesn't mean you should punish yourself by not eating. At least have a snack."

To stop his fellow teachers from worrying any further he took a small bowl and filled it with rice. He would eat more when his boy had woken up.

He pretended not to notice the worried looks thrown his way, shoving a smile onto his face.

To bad for him the room was full of pros, they knew what faces looked like when someone was faking it and that was one of the fakest smiles they had ever seen.

After the teachers had taken care of the dishes they had gathered around the room to talk deeper about their plans. Apparently someone was smart enough to send a text to Nedzu. They had quickly got a smiley face in return, showing the rats agreement.

Suggestions were thrown out like rapid fire. Mostly about the days they would be getting off to let their students have fun. Every once in a while someone would start specifically talking about Midoriya again. In the end they had gotten a decent size lists of activities they could do.

At one point he could feel the wetness of tears sliding down his face.

They would make it up to his boy.

To all of the students.

If only they had noticed the few seconds that a mop of green hair had poked out from around the corner.

A/N: Sorry it took so long to get out. :(

I hope you enjoyed this chapter! I kept rewriting parts of it but I think I'm satisfied with it for now. Feel free to leave a comment.

By the way Eri's names for Midoriya are Deku, Izu-nii, Deku-nii, and when she's too tired or scared to speak much just Izu.
