At the security checkpoint of the ACME water distribution plant, Frank Harrison leaned back on the comfy chair in his guard booth and took a sip of tea. Things had been quite quiet lately and he figured he could afford to sit back and put his feet up for a bit. However, his moment of peace and quiet was interrupted without warning by the arrival of a black van that pulled right up in front of the barrier gate connected to his booth.
"That's odd," Harrison thought, "we're not expecting any deliveries today." He decided to step out and cross over to the van, where the driver's unusually-pale face could be seen through the van's open window.
"Can I help you, mate?" inquired Harrison cautiously.
"Indeed you can, young man," smiled the driver somewhat unnervingly. "I'm just here to deliver some new equipment for the main valves. Would you be so kind as to let me in?"
"Sorry, but no can do," responded Harrison automatically. "Without authorisation, I can't just let you waltz in."
"Oh, no need to worry. I have authorisation," said the driver, his smile becoming even more sinister-looking. "In fact, it's standing right beside you."
Puzzled, the guard turned around, only to be swatted aside by a large hairy arm, that sent him crashing into the side of the booth, knocking him out cold. The attacking arm belonged to a werewolf dressed in the tattered remains of a red catsuit, which then crossed over to the entrance barrier and effortlessly forced it upwards, allowing the van to drive through.
"Excellent work, my dear," congratulated a satisfied Count Adra. "We shall proceed to the main chamber with the pumps. As soon as you've dealt with that annoying guard, join us there."
The van proceeded to drive towards the main station, whilst the werewolf in the red spy uniform advanced on the unconscious guard with a murderous look in her blood-red eyes. She raised her sharp claws, ready to cut the man to shreds and end his miserable existence. But just as she was prepared to deliver the fatal blow, the she-wolf paused as something deep inside her resisted the urge to slay her victim, a voice in the back of her head crying out 'NO!' at her. The wolf gave a snort, than turned her back on the unharmed guard and reluctantly headed back after the others, not noticing a jet that was now hovering over the station. From it, three figures stealthily leapt out and silently landed on the rooftops...
Inside the pumping station, resistance from security guards was easily brushed aside. The werewolves' claws easily slashed their opponents weapons and left several personnel injured, but fortunately still alive. The guards and members of staff were ultimately forced to surrender and were thus bundled into an office, which was then locked shut, preventing them from escaping and warning the outside world. Count Adra could easily have allowed his pets to eat the staff all up, but he opted not to, deciding that he can later use the serum to turn all the workers into werewolves too, thus adding to his army. But first, he had to distribute the werewolf formula into the drinking water distribution system, before the authorities had a chance to react until it was too late.
"Yes, this is the one we're looking for," said the Count with glee as he and his werewolf underlings surrounded a huge metal container connected to a series of large pipes. "This tank contains all the clean water that gets distributed to every household in the city. Now all that needs to be done is to to introduce my formula into the mix and every person in Oxford will become a werewolf under my control."
With a manic laugh, he carefully pulled out a large vial from his jacket pocket, containing more of his unholy drug. "In this container is enough of my serum to contaminate the entire water supply. Then, once every human being is transformed into members of my followers, Count Adra will rule, first Great Britain and then... THE WORLD!"
"Yawn! I wonder just how many times we've heard that lame speech before," came a voice from above. "Can't you bad guys be a bit more imaginative with the way you boast around?"
Startled, the Count and his werewolves looked up above them to see Sam, Alex and Daphne standing on a gangplank over the tanks. Taking advantage of their foes being taken by surprise, Sam fired the cable from her belt, the end of which wrapped around Adra's flask of werewolf serum, which was then yanked out of his hand.
"No! The serum!" cried out the Count in horror.
"Sorry buddy, but this little bottle is going right where you can't reach it," added Sam as she reeled in the cable and grabbed hold of the serum, shoving it in her backpack.
Exasperated, Adra turned to his pack of wolves. "Don't just stand there you fools, get them! The destiny of the world is at stake here!"
With a snap of their teeth, the wolves began to scurry expeditiously towards the spies, but the girls had already re-fired their expandable cables at the roof, before they leapt off the gangplank and began swinging over the heads of the oversized fur-balls, taking care to keep just out of reach of the furry monsters' claws. Agitated, the wolves tried fruitlessly to grab the swinging girls, who had each pulled out a spray can containing the antidote that Dean had put together. Reacting fast, the spies began spraying the human-hounds with it, causing them to cough and splutter, before they all collapsed to the floor.
"No! What have you done?" wailed Adra as he watched his werewolf strike-force lose all their fur and fangs as they all began reverting back to their normal human selves. A few seconds, and the process was complete, leaving a group of confused bystanders dazedly taking in their surroundings.
"Where... where am I?" asked Noomi as she tried to clear the cobwebs from her head. "Like, what is going on here?"
The Count's face turned crimson with fury as the spies landed on the floor and surrounded him. "You confounded young fools! You have ruined all my global plans!"
"Enough with your crazed ramblings, you nutcase!" snapped Daphne as she advanced threateningly towards Adra. "Now where's my sister, Count Rotter?"
The answer to that question came in the form of a blood-curdling snarl from behind the girls, causing them to whirl around in alarm. Standing before them with bared sharp teeth was Clover, her now-red eyes seeming to glow fiercely with murderous intent. She crawled on all fours towards the girls, gnashing her teeth as she seemed to ready herself to pounce on her nervous sister and friends.
"Easy there, Clover," said Alex soothingly, trying to get through to their teammate. "You don't want to fight us, right?"
"On the contrary, she does!" said Count Adra with a cruel grin. "Destroy them, my beauty! Tear these confounded spies to pieces!"
There followed a tense moment as the she-wolf looked between the figures before her. Then, with a roar, she leapt forward to the attack. But it was not the spies she was aiming for. It was the Count, who barely had a chance to jump out of the way before she landed on the spot where he had been standing just a second ago!
"Gah! What are you doing, you stupid animal?" yelped Adra as he raised his cane at Clover defensively. "You're meant to slay them, not me! Obey me, your master!"
But the beast refused to back off and instead grabbed the Count's cane with her powerful jaws and snapped it in two. Somewhere buried deep inside, the human part of Clover had managed to reach out and convince the animal part possessing her that it was Count Adra who was the creature's true enemy and not the WOOHP agents. Having shaken off Adra's hypnotic control, the she-wolf's new aim was to rid herself of the troublesome Count who seemed to be the source of all her confusion.
"By all the bats of Transylvania, help!" cried out the Count as he began dashing back and forth around the chamber with Clover in pursuit, snapping at his heels. Desperately, Adra began to climb up one of the pipes to get out of reach, but as it turned out, the Clover-wolf was an excellent climber as well, as she scaled up the pipe after him with ease.
"Do something, you fools!" cried out Adra to the spies as he just narrowly avoided getting slashed by one of Clover's claws. "You wouldn't let your friend here gobble me up, would you?"
The girls shared an amused expression with one another. "Hmm, think we ought to help him out?" asked Alex mischievously.
"Yeah, we probably should," grinned Sam as she aimed the antidote bottle at Clover's turned back and promptly gave her a good spray over. Like it was with the others, Clover's fur and sharp claws disappeared and in just a few seconds, she was back to her normal and beautiful human self.
"Say, what am I doing clinging to this mucky old pipe?" asked Clover, blinking in confusion as she gently lowered herself down to the floor. "And why do I feel this weird urge to cough up hairballs?"
"Let's just say you had a furry experience," smiled Daphne in relief as she pulled her sister into a big hug.
Seeing that the beast was no longer on his tail, Count Adra took advantage of his enemies being distracted and slinked away down the pipe and began to make his way discreetly towards the exit. He was just about to sneak out, when the door unexpectedly burst open and a swarm of WOOHP agents led by Dean barged in, surrounding the velvet-caped villain.
"Going somewhere, mister?" smirked Dean as one of the agents cuffed Adra.
"It would appear not," sighed the Count, deciding to accept defeat with dignity.
As soon as the station's personnel were released and given a proper medical check-over for any injuries they sustained, the WOOHP agents had Count Adra carted away to the Containment Facility, along with his mad scientist accomplice, whose mutation into a werewolf had been reversed with everyone-else. As for all the kidnap victims, they were returned home with little memory of their nightmarish ordeal, much to the relief and delight of their friends and relatives. So with all the loose ends tidied up, the girls got back in the jet and headed home, along the way filling Clover in on what had been happening during the time she had been transformed into a werewolf.
"So you don't remember a thing?" Sam asked Clover as they finished recounting the story.
"No, it's a complete blank," replied Clover, understandably glad that she had no memory of her time as one of the Count's collection of monsters. She turned to her sister and smiled. "I still can't believe you managed to get the better of that wolf holding Sam and Alex, Daph."
"Yeah, you were really terrific back there," beamed Alex. "Maybe you ought to sign-up to join WOOHP too, since you seem so good at it."
"No thanks," said Daphne with a firm wag of her finger. "As I told Jerry, I'm way too busy being a single mum and a fashion model to be a full-time spy. Although..."
"Although?" said Clover, raising an eyebrow.
Daphne grinned. "Although, I wouldn't necessarily say no to trying it out part-time." She let out a loud yawn. "But right now, I could do with getting back home and having a few zzz's before Trevor realises we've been up all night."
About an hour or so later back at the girls' penthouse, Trevor woke up and got out of bed with a yawn, before making his way over to the living room.
"Morning Mom," he said a little sleepily. "Sorry, I overslept a little bit. I..."
But to Trevor's surprise, he found his mother, Aunt Clover, Sam and Alex all huddled on the sofa fast asleep. Deciding not to disturb their peaceful slumber, Trevor found a blanket and kindly draped it over the four dozing girls' shoulders, before he went to sort out some breakfast for himself.
"Golly, that must have been a pretty long and intense horror movie they watched over the night," he remarked to himself as he munched some Coco Pops while the four tired ladies gently snored away their forty winks.
