Thanks for sticking around! This story isn't finished yet though! So enjoy this chapter! I have so many ideas for the future. I put some of my story ideas in my profile if you want to check them out :)

Zephyr groaned as she got up from the sand, spitting out of her mouth. Her head throbbed from that sudden hit.

She looked around and saw Nuffink and Darryah doing the same.

"You guys ok?" She asked them.

"Other than being totally covered in sand...yes. We're fine." She responded.

Nuffink scratched his hands throughout his hair. Sand flying in every direction.

Zephyr got up and dusted herself off, then took a glance at the dark clouds above her.

"We should get back..." Zephyr said, "Looks like it's about to storm around here."

Zephyr opened the door to the Haddock hut and looked around. No one seemed to be home.

"Zephyr, what are we going to do now? The storm is going to delay our search." Darryah complained.

"I miss Mom and Dad..." Nuffink cried.

Zephyr pulled her brother into a hug. "We'll find a way out of this...eventually."

Darryah pulled out a map from one of the near by shelves.

"The book said the the flower is very rare and will only be revealed when someone yearns something. But your going to have to be within range of it for it to be seen."

"Well that's covered then. We all really want to go home. Now what?"

"We just have to find it." She sighed. "We need to find the highest point in archipelago. The flower grows there."

"Annnnd...I'm done." Zephyr huffed.

Darryah sighed again. "I guess we can call it a nig-."

"Wait...where is Hiccup?" Zephyr asked.

Toothless came bounding down from the loft.

"Hey Toothless!" Zephyr cried, "Where's Hiccup?"

Toothless crooned and then dragged Zephyr upstairs to find a sleeping Hiccup. He looked pretty sick.

"Oh great." she muttered. She felt his forehead and he had a light fever.

He must of over worked himself...again, which was pretty normal. Even as an adult he worked himself to exhaustion.

Zephyr went back downstairs and whipped up a quick meal for her siblings, then went upstairs with a bowl of soup for Hiccup.

"Hey," She said softly, "Wake up, I made you a meal."

Hiccup moaned and rolled onto his back. His eyes slowly opened and he saw Zephyr with a steaming bowl of stew.

But only being half-awake, he saw Astrid, not the auburn haired girl in front of him.

"A-Astrid...?" He murmured .

Zephyr laughed, she did look a bit like her mother.

"No Hiccup, it's me. Zephyr." she said.

Hiccup sat up and realized that it was Zephyr.

"O-oh...sorry about that." He laughed awkwardly.

"No problem." Zephyr smiled and handed the bowl to Hiccup, who accepted it graciously.

The warm broth soothed the scratchiness in his Hiccup's throat. He sighed in pure relief.

"Your over worked." Zephyr stated, "Why don't you take a break?"

"Because..." Hiccup started. Then he paused. Was he really going to spill all that he was feeling for the past few months?

"You ok?" Zephyr asked with concern.

"I-I um...well..." He buried is face into his hands.

Zephyr cocked her head. She had never seen her father so distressed like this.

"I-I push myself to work hard because...Idon'twanttogobacktobeinguseless!"

Zephyr watched as her father shook. "I-I just don't get how I went from the worst viking ever to the hero all of a sudden! It's...it's crazy! I'm being followed everywhere, people treating me like nothing happened!"

Zephyr shook her head. "I know how you feel."

Hiccup turned around, "You do?" he said sarcastically.

Zephyr swatted at him lightly. "Yeah, I do. Your expected to know everything and become some great hero one day. But every day you regret that your worthy enough, or if you even should become it at all."

Hiccup saw that Zephyr had a few tears lingering in her eyes. She wasn't playing anymore.

"I'm not ready..." She whispered over and over.

Hiccup rested a hand in her shoulder. A look of empathy on his face.

"I don't know what your dealing with, but you've got guts Zephyr. You'll be able to do whatever your worried about doing. Just be yourself."

Zephyr sniffed, "Thanks."

"No problem."

Toothless huffed. The Night Fury jumped in between them and started licking both of them all over.

"T-Toothless! Bad dragon!" Hiccup laughed.

Toothless made a face, "You were being all heartwarming without me!"

Zephyr giggled as Toothless kept smothering Hiccup with dragon slobber. She finally decided to tell him.

"Hey, Hiccup? I have something to tell you..."

Astrid walked up the stairs to the Haddock hut once again. She was feeling extra happy thin evening. She wanted to see if Hiccup was feeling better and maybe tell her what was up with him lately.

No sooner than she lifted her hand to knock on the door, she heard Hiccup yell.

Astrid grabbed her axe, and ran into the house.

"WHAT'S GOING ON?!" She yelled.

The two kids who were eating at the table dropped their meals and stared at her . When they saw Astrid with her axe in a combat position, they. Freaked. Out.

"WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!" The girl shouted.

The little boy drew his wooden sword from it's hold and held it in a defensive position. Even though he looked brave as he held his sword. Astrid noticed that he and the girl were trembling with fear.

"Where's Hiccup?" She demanded.

"Astrid?"

Astrid turned and saw Hiccup standing at the stairs. Zephyr stood next ti him with a look of surprise on her face.

"Next time, how about you just knock on the door..." She muttered.

Astrid was surprised. That line sounded like something Hiccup would say.

Zephyr immediately ran toward her sister and brotger. They were trembling in fear of what just happend.

"Guys...guys calm down. Nuffink, put the sword away. It' just Astrid." She assured them.

Nuffink put away his sword and Darryah sniffed.

"S-Sorry about that..." Astrid muttered.

"It's...fine." Zephyr said.

Astrid turned to face Hiccup. He had started to look a bit better than he did from that afternoon. He must've just needed some rest.

"I heard you scream...I was worried so I came and then...well..."

"I'm fine Astrid." Hiccup said, then smiled. Astrid was worried about him! She may actually have feelings for him after all.

Astrid saw Hiccup smiling at her then she turned her face to hide her blush. She probably shouldn't have overreacted...but she was just glad Hiccup was safe.

Toothless nuzzled her hand and she gave the dragon a little pat.

"So, what was with all the screaming?" Astrid asked. She noticed how Zephyr began to fidget in her standing position. She looked a bit uncomfortable. Darryah and Nuffink lost eye contact with Astrid as well.

"What's going on?" She repeated, this time, a bit more firm.

"Well, we thought you might of figured out already.." Darryah said.

"Figured out what?!"

Zephyr walked up to Astrid, then to her surprise, she found the auburn haired girl hugging her.

Then she whispered in her ear, "Hi Mom".
