Donald and Della were walking with Bulba on the way to his office so they could negotiate the terms of the deal. Taurus was grinning with his hands behind his backs, and this sent chills down Donald's spine. Donald knew one fact about ducks, and it was that they could sense when someone was fishy, and right now, Donald felt like there was something going on with Bulba that they didn't know about, and something in Donald said it wasn't good.

Della, however, was walking along fine. She didn't even think of anything that could go wrong, and didn't want to. She was always like this. Even if she did sense something was wrong though, she wouldn't care. She was Della Duck. The fearless adventurer that conquered the moon and fought aliens and lived.

However, she turned her head to the right to see the kids. Well, just Webby. It seemed like she was waiting for something, something that couldn't be good. She put an arm out in front of Donald and pointed out Webby. They continued to watch as Webby looked to her right and an arm came into view. The arm was obviously Dewey's because the shirt sleeve was blue. They could see a hand motion towards the right and Webby rolled her eyes and started walking towards where Dewey motioned.

"Where are they going!?" Screamed Donald, alerting Bulba something was wrong. "They're supposed to be in the kid room."

Bulba walked over to them and looked down the hall and caught a glimpse of Webby. "Well, that isn't very good, now is it."

Donald turned to Della."What are we going to do? We can't let them run around the city. "They'll get kidnapped, or maybe even killed."

Della tried to calm Donald. "Come on," She began. "Breath in, breath out. It'll be fine. I'm sure we can find them."

Bulba walked over to Donald and put an arm around him. "Maybe you should go get the kids. I'll stay here with Della so we can discuss the terms."

Donald's first instinct was to say no, but then he remembered what's on the line. He sighed. "Fine, but Della, be careful. Don't get angry or aggressive."

Della nods and stares at her brother. "Sure thing, Donald." Donald smiles and starts running for his kids, "Oh, be careful!" Della yelled as Donald excited the hallway and towards where the kids were heading.

Bulba looked down at Della. "Well then, now that that's settled, let's get to business. Follow me."

She does so as he starts walking. Something inside Della made her rethink this decision, however. She started to get shivers and feared something may be wrong, and usually when Della was scared, something really was up. As she continued to follow him, they came up onto a two door entrance. Corridors.

Bulba opened it and the first thing Della sees is a bright yellow figure sitting in a swivel chair. The figure turned around to reveal a duck with eyes that had maniac written all over them, and his suit was a mixture of black and yellow. His mask was pure black and had a red undershirt. It looked a bit like a character of a show that Dewey and Launchpad watched. However, she couldn't get the name.

"Good job, Bulba." The voice of this duck was maniacal and sent shivers down Della's spine. "You successfully brought me one of the McDucks."

"Just like I promised, and you know I never break a promise. Not even if it would cost me my fame." Bulba walked towards the maniac and turned to Della.

"So, you know who I am?" Asked the maniac in the swivel chair. Della shakes her head no, and the maniac sighs. "I used to be called Darkwing Duck, and now I'll be known as NegaDuck."

Della understood that this was from the show she was thinking of, but the way she was to figure it out wasn't under the best circumstances. It definitely didn't take long for her to realize she was being kidnapped and was going to be held for ransom, or used as a challenge to a duel.

She thought quickly as Bulba started walking for her. He reached and attempted to put his arms around her, but she jumped up and kicked him in the stomach. This made him grunt, but it didn't seem to do much damage. She then realized she kicked him with her normal leg. She jumped up again and kicked him in the face with her robot leg. He let out an even louder grunt, indicating that he was hurt from that.

He growled and threw a punch at Della, knocking her to the ground. He went to put a final blow on her, but she grabbed his arm and slid under him. While he was turning around, she attempted to kick her, but failed miserably as he grabbed her foot and slammed her into a desk. She let out a grunt but didn't hurt her too bad.

He moved towards her and attempted to grab her again, and succeeded. She kicked and punched, but nothing worked. He squeezed her until everyone in the room started to hear bones popping. Della let out a shriek of pain as she gave one more thrust of her foot into his stomach. He gasped and dropped her immediately.

She grunted and put her arm on her stomach as this is where the popping was. She then sucked it up and straightened her back out with a loud pop and jumped up. It hurt to jump up, but she managed. She then kicks him in the face with her robot leg, and in the stomach with her regular leg. She then landed her hand on his neck, right where the artery is. This knocked him out cold and he fell to the ground.

She celebrated her victory, forgetting that another bad guy was behind her. She then felt a sharp pain in her rib cage and didn't even need to look down to know it was a knife. As she felt the blade being pulled out of her, she could hear the laugh of NegaDuck. She fell to the ground, gasping for air. She knew it wasn't fatal, but she still felt the pain.

"Don't worry," NegaDuck started. "It'll be all over soon enough." This was the final thing she heard as everything slowly went black, and she went unconscious.

Saint Bernard, Bulba's Lab, Floor 1, Room 10

Beakley was pacing around the room where she was told to wait for the McDucks. She complied with her order as it was her duty now, especially since they didn't have any adventures to go through anymore. However, this was still unusual for her. 2 years since the incident in Duckburg and she still hasn't gotten used to no adventuring.

Beakley missed the old days. To be honest, everyone did. Well, not the kids. No one even knew about the adventures the kids went on. Sure, Beakley would go on a little camping trip for training, or fun, every once in a while, but it wasn't her normal anymore to go on adventures. The life they lived was a dream, but the thing about dreams is that you have to wake up.

Beakley, however, wasn't pacing around because of her thoughts and how unusual this was for her. She was instead pacing around the room because she knew something wasn't right. Just then, she heard running outside the hallway and voices that sounded like children. It didn't take long for a knock to echo across the room, it's origin from the door.

Beakley walked up to the door and opened it to see Donald standing there, looking panicked. "Beakley."

"What? Is something wrong?" Beakley cut him off, worried for her kids and masters being. "Who do I need to kill?"

Donald stared at her confused. "No one. The kids are running free around the building and we need to stop them"

Beakley was a little upset by the news. Not because the kids were running around, but because she didn't get to kill anyone. "Alright then," She said, looking up. "Let's go."

Donald then turned quickly and started running towards the direction the kids went, and Beakley followed. For some reason, Beakley enjoyed this. She remembered the thrill of chasing something, and it was amazing, and now she gets to feel the adrenaline again. Except, it would be perfect, if a bunch of terrible things weren't about to happen.

Saint Bernard, Downtown, Warehouse District

Louie, Dewey, Martial and Webby were running towards a warehouse to go do some exploring. They were all excited, except for Webby, of course. She kinda lost the thrill and interest of exploring right after the fountain of truth thing. She especially lost her trust in her granny. That lie was the last straw. She may have come out seemingly trusting her granny, but she started to think that if her granny was still lying, then how many more lies could she be telling.

They all eventually came to a stop in front of a warehouse, but it wasn't because they wanted to. They all started to hear voices on the other side of the warehouse. Dewey listened for a few more seconds and recognized the voices and motioned for everyone to sit down and start crawling for the inside of a warehouse.

However, they didn't have time because the animals who held the voices were already coming into view. "So, you think they gave use the right coordinates?"

"Maybe," boomed another voice. "There's no telling. I mean, Black Heron has been known to lie to people."

"Meh, lying or not, I will hunt those kids down and shred them to pieces." Another voice echoed across the district.

The footsteps then came to a stop, and the kids could see the figures, and the figures could see them. "Well, speak of the devil."

Louie and Martial stood up and stood their ground. "What are you doing, Mal?" Asked Louie.

Malvada groans in rage. "The names Malvada, and a little birdie told us you kids would be here."

Huey steps up and growls. "Get away. We don't want any trouble."

Storkles, or Stork Dug, grins and puts his fists together and starts walking for the kids. "Well, we do."

Hector then cackles and starts walking to. "Yep, we do."

Malvada joins the two and eventually corners the kids around the cold metal of a warehouse. They laugh as Malvada throws the first punch, and hits Huey in the face. Louie looks at Huey and growls. He growls and looks up and jumps at Malvada, but is caught by Hector. Hector then throws Louie to the ground.

Louie grunts and closes his eyes, absorbing the pain that came from the impact with his body and pure concrete. He opens his eyes and throws a hopeless hand that misses, and let's it fall to the ground. He grunts as he builds up enough stamina, quickly, and gets back on his feet, only to be punched in the face again.

Storkles then gets ready to throw a punch at Louie, but Martial jumps in the way of the punch. It barely budged Martial, but it hurt Storkles' hand. Storkles stood confused as he shook his hand, not giving him the chance to realize Webby was coming at him.

Webby kicks him in the stomach, knocking him back, but not making him hurt too bad. He growls and runs for Webby, who is standing in a fighting position. He attempts to kick Webby in the side, but fails as she grabs him by the leg and throws him to the ground. Storkles hits his head on the concrete first, sending him unconscious, and giving him a concussion.

Malvada growls and hits Webby in the side, knocking her to the ground. Webby gasped as Malvada and Hector walked up on her. However, Martial jumps up to save her, but gets knocked to the ground by Malvada. Louie tried to get up after seeing his friends get knocked down, but he couldn't. He was too weak.

As the two storks cornered the kids, they all began to believe that this was the spot they would die. However, as the two storks stand there, something is thrown at them and purple smoke begins to rise. Everyone starts to look confused as the two storks look around, scared that someone is about to knock them out, or worse.

"I am the terror that flaps in the night." A voice echoes across the district. "I'm the over-filled burrito that spills onto the lap of crime." Everyone looks more confused until Dewey and Launchpad sneak over to the kids and pick them up.

They carry them out of the smoke, giving them all a clear look at who was doing this. Darkwing Duck. Luckily, Malvada and Hector didn't see and were still looking around confused. However, a figure in all black and purple jumps down from a warehouse and lands behind the two storks.

"I am Darkwing Duck." Before both of the storks could realize anything, Darkwing hits them both on pressure points in the neck. This sends them out cold and to the ground with a super loud thud.

The smoke clears as the kids start approaching Darkwing. Webby was limping, Louie was holding his head, Huey was holding his stomach, but Martial wasn't affected. Heck, he was perfectly fine. However, everyone over passed this detail as the kids saw Donald and Beakley show up.

"What the heck is going on here!?" Screamed Beakley, looking around. She sees Darkwing and gasps. She jumped on him before he could even explain what had just happened and tackled him. "Who are you? Who do you work for?"

Launchpad and Dewey run over to Beakley to pull her off of Darkwing. "Beakley," started LP. "This is a good guy. He saved the kids."

Beakley stops as she takes in everything she just heard. She gets off of Darkwing and clears her throat. "Sorry. I saw you and my kids and just assumed…"

"It's fine, it's fine." Darkwing got up and popped his back with a loud groan. "It isn't the first time."

Before anyone else could do something though, Beakley's phone rings. She puts a hand down and picks it up and brings it to her ear. She gasps as soon as she puts it to her ear. Her face was a ace of concern and fear, something that came from Beakley when something or someone was in danger. Preferably her family.

She pulls her hand away from her ear and gives it to Darkwing. Darkwing looked at the phone, confused, and grabbed it. He put it to his ear and immediately gasped. "Hello." Said the person on the other end. "Remember me?"

Darkwing growls. "Why are you calling, Jim?"

Jim growls at him back but quickly calms himself down. "It's NegaDuck, and I have a challenge."

Darkwing puts on a concerned face. "What is this, "Challenge"? And why are you laughing like that."

Jim was cackling over the phone. "Sorry, sorry. I have a hostage. Her name is Della Duck."

It so happened that Darkwing put the phone on speaker before he said the hostage's name. Donald gasped and walked up to the phone. "What did you do to my sister?"

NegaDuck laughs. "Well, I stabbed her, and then we tied her up to a chair." They could hear shuffling over the phone.

Donald gasped as tears started to form. "I swear, if you killed her…" He was cut off by another figure walking up.

"Please Donald," Bulba's voice boomed. "We would never. Well, as long as Darkwing wins."

Darkwing pushes Donald away. "What are you talking about?"

However, before anyone could speak, Gosalyn jumped down from a warehouse roof after falling behind Darkwing, LP, and Dewey. "Bulba, what did you do to my Grandpa?"

Bulba laughs. "Well look who showed."

They could all hear Bulba being pushed away. "Just come to Bulba's lab tonight at Seven pm. No later, no earlier."

Before anyone could answer, the phone hung up. Everyone stared at it for the next few seconds until Donald spoke up. "We have to go get her."

Before Donald could run, Darkwing grabbed him by the collar. "We can't just charge in their. We have to have a plan."

Donald turns to him. "Why? It's two against eight."

Darkwing narrows his eyes and looks at Donald straight into the eyes. "It may be two against eight, but these two, are very dangerous."

Launchpad walks up to Darkwing and puts a hand on his shoulder. "Well then, let's get dangerous."

Saint Bernard, Bulba's Lab

Darkwing, Beakley, Donald, Launchpad and the kids were all walking to the main entrance of the building that held their beloved Della Duck. The kids were worried the most, even Martial. However, he was worried because the plan might fall flat. Donald walked up to the corridors that led into the building and turned around.

"So," Donald started. "If we're going to save Della, we need a strate…"

Before Donald could finish talking, something electronic sounded from the roof. Darkwing looked towards the origin of the astound and saw an electrical laser that could shoot through titanium. He couldn't tell, but he assumed that it could because he was at a super scientists lab.

Darkwing didn't waste any time and jumped towards Donald, pushing him out of the shot, and through the corridors. Darkwing went through the corridors with him, and just in the nick of time. The gun shot and they could hear the destruction of concrete as Donald and Darkwing hit the floor.

Darkwing and Donald got up and looked towards the spot where they heard the bullet hit to see the concrete destroyed. They looked up to see a surprised family. Darkwing and Donald then start to walk towards the corridors, but are cut off by the doors automatically shutting off.

An alarm then came on with long and loud beeping noises. "Lab on Lockdown." Said a Computer-mediated voice.

Donald looked all around and then turned to the door. He ran up to it and slammed his fists against it over and over again. "No. I'm trapped. We're trapped. In Bulba's lab."

Gosalyn runs up to the door and hits the glass a few times. "Darkwing."

Darkwing watched as she frantically searched for Donald and Darkwing, but couldn't find them. Darkwing walked up to the glass, right in front of Gosalyn, and hit the glass a few times. Gosalyn didn't budge. Darkwing's only conclusion was that the glass was soundproof and one way glass.

Darkwing got up from his knees and looked down at Donald. "Well, looks like we have to save your sister alone."

Donald looks up and then back down. "Oh no. This might not end well."

Darkwing waves a hand. "I'm sure we will. It's only a sociopath and a big bull against two small ducks." Darkwing hears it out loud and realizes what he just said.

Donald starts to panic even more. "A bull and a sociopath against two small ducks. Do you know what the odds are?"

Darkwing thinks for a moment. "Sixty to Fourty."

Donald turns to him with an even more panicked face. "What's the sixty percent?"

Darkwing hesitates but answers. "Us dying."

Donald's face sank. "So we have a forty percent chance at winning this fight. We're dead."

Darkwing rolls his eyes. "Well, stop mopping. Yeah I'm scared, but we won't save your sister by being scared."

Donald gets up and looks directly into Darkwings eyes. "We wouldn't even be in this mess if it wasn't for your doing."

Darkwing looks at Donald. "What are you talking about?"

Donald growls and hits a wall. "If you didn't decide to play dress up, then we wouldn't be in this damn mess."

Darkwing sighs. "Yeah, I know." Darkwing sits down as Donald realizes what he just said. "Listen, I used to be a lonely child. I used to get bullied a lot and tossed and turned. If it wasn't for the actions of this one kid, then I wouldn't have been bullied. But look where I am now."

Donald looks at him confused. "You're in a lab about to die."

"In a lab about to die doing what I love." Darkwing turned to Donald as Donald sat down. "Bad things can lead to good things, Donald. You just have to wait." He turns to Donald with a smile.

Donald thinks for a moment and smiles too. "Yeah yeah, I get the silly lesson. Now, let's go get my sister."

Donald and Darkwing shake hands and get up. They turned to the hallway that led to the elevator and began their ascent. As they reached the elevator, they saw a sign above reading, "Elevators Closed During Lockdowns". Donald looked at the sign and his head bubbled. He hit a wall as Darkwing looked around. He then saw a staircase.

Fifty-five Minutes Later

Donald and Darkwing burst through the door and fell to the ground, panting. They had just run up an entire staircase to the thirtieth story. Donald looked around. He saw a glass door that looked exactly like the entrance to Bulba's office. He tapped Darkwing and pointed.

"There." He whispered. "Let's go."

Darkwing looked up and saw the door too and got up slowly, but painfully, and helped Donald do the same. "Alright, let's go."

They started walking towards the door slowly. Once they came upon it, the light went out in every room, even the hallway. They didn't even care about opening the door and got into a position of defense. They started hearing movement in the hallway and heard a door open.

As they looked around, their eyes started to get used to the darkness and could make out one large figure and one small figure. Bulba and NegaDuck. Donald was the first one to notice and ran towards Bulba, and Darkwing followed. They reached their enemies and began to fight.

Donald jumped on Bulba and began to kick and punch, bite and thump. It definitely paid off because it hurt him. Bulba, having enough, grabbed Donald by the neck and slammed him to the ground. However, Donald grabbed his arm and pushed up, sending him up towards Bulba's face.

Bulba quickly put an arm over his face, blocking the attack from Donald. Bulba then head-butted Donald to the ground, almost sending him unconscious. However, the anger inside Donald made him shoot straight up. Donald then jumped up again and kicked Bulba right in the rib and then hit him in the neck.

Donald the head-butted Bulba, sending him towards a wall. Bulba slammed into the wall and went through it. He fell into a room with a giant machine in it that Donald immediately recognized it. It was the ramrod. Donald stared at the magnificent machine before jumping down.

He landed next to Bulba, giving Bulba the opportunity to grab Donald by the legs and slam him to the ground. Bulba then got up and grabbed Donald by the arm and threw him towards the ramrod. Donald hit the main computer to the ramrod, turning it on and emitting a red light.

Darkwing, after hitting Jim a few times, saw the red light emit and turned towards it. He saw the ramrod blast with fury. Jim took this opportunity to smack Darkwing in the face. He did so and then kicked him through the hole and into the room where the ramrod was.

NegaDuck shortly followed and landed next to him and looked up at the ramrod with a smile. "Like our invention? Bulba and his associate built it. So sad we had to kill 'em."

Darkwing looked up and stared at the maniac and then at Bulba. "You killed Waddlemeyer."

Bulba takes his attention away from Donald and looks directly at Darkwing. "Well, no. I threw him into another dimension, but I'm pretty certain it was a lava dimension."

Darkwing clenched his fist and hit the floor. "So you killed him!"

Bulba laughs. "No, the lava did."

Darkwing clenches his fists harder and then his teeth. He gets up and kicks NegaDuck in the stomach, sending him to the ground. Darkwing then ran for Bulba as Donald also jumped at him. Bulba looked left and then right, realizing the situation. Darkwing and Donald both land on him and start kicking. Darkwing then pulls out a taser and pushes it against a pressure point on his neck. Bulba shrieks in pain and falls to the ground.

Darkwing and Donald stare at the bull for a few seconds and then turn their attention towards the maniac who now has a chainsaw. Darkwing put his hands up ready to fight, but Donald just ran for NegDuck who pulled the string that turned on the chainsaw. Donald approached NegaDuck and threw a punch, but NegaDuck hit him with the back of the chainsaw right in the back of the head. He falls to the ground, unconscious.

NegaDuck then charges for the ramrod. He reaches it and runs right past the prepared Darkwing Duck without a second chance. Darkwing, surprised, turns and starts running for NegaDuck himself. However, he was stopped as soon as NegaDuck did.

"End of the line, Jim Starlling." Darkwing screamed. "Give up and this'll be over."

Jim laughs. "On the contrary." Jim points up and Darkwing does so and sees Della in a chair over the ramrod. "I think you should surrender."

Darkwing looks at Jim and sees the determination of success in his pupils. However, the idea of success in this maniacs mind would be killing Darkwing. Darkwing couldn't do anything to stop this though, so Jim might get his success after all. Darkwing took a knee.

"Fine," Darkwing said. "Just spare her and Donald."

NegaDuck smiles. "I knew you would break." He then pulls a lever and Della's chair starts to slip. "But I said if you won she would live."

Darkwing then looks up with a face of pure fear. He watched as Della fell and there was nothing Darkwing could do. However, Donald jumps from the corner and knocks the chair out of the way, but he doesn't make it out of the zone. Donald falls into the ramrod, sending him into a random dimension.

Darkwing then clenches his fist, hits the floor, gets up, and charges for NegaDuck. Jim didn't even have time to react because once Darkwing got to him and punched him in the face with all his might, sending NegaDuck unconscious. Darkwing then clicks a few buttons, searching through dimensions.

He looked through the dimensions one by one, but couldn't find where Donald went. Darkwing then came across a dimension that had Waddlemeyer in it. An alternate reality. The problem would be that he would take away another Gosalyn's grandpa only to give this Gosalyn a happy ending. He knew he couldn't do that and turned the key to shut off the machine, but it never turned off.

He looked up at the machine, realizing that there must be something going on. He then turned his head to see that a caption had popped up on the computer screen saying, 'System Error, Shut Down Machine'. Darkwing had to shut it off. He looked all around for some way to shut off the ramrod, and then remembered, he had a gun.

He looked to the right to see that the ramrod had located Donald. Darkwing ran towards the ramrod and turned the key quickly, and a few seconds later Donald was shot out of the machine. Darkwing then took out a gun from his pocket and aimed it at the ramrod. He was about to pull the trigger when NegaDuck got in front of the machine.

"If you blow this machine up, you blow me up." NegaDuck told Darkwing.

Darkwing looked at NegaDuck and shrugged. "I guess that wouldn't be so bad."

Jim growls and pulls out a knife himself. "What would you be without me!"

Darkwing points the gun upwards to see an opening that would cause the machine to explode. "Time to find out."

Darkwing shoots the gun as the bullet goes straight for the spot that he aimed. A few seconds later the machine exploded, and so did NegaDuck. The explosion sent a shockwave that knocked Darkwing and Donald back. They landed on their backs but Della came flying into Donald.

Donald and Darkwing look up to see what used to be the ramrod. Darkwing looks to the right to see Bulba, penetrated by a piece of metal. It wouldn't be fatal, but it would keep him out for long enough. Darkwing then gets up and picks up Della. He reaches a hand out for Donald to grab.

As he helps Donald back up, Donald looks back at the remains of the ramrod. "Do you think he survived?"

Darkwing turned to the machine as well. "I don't know. But anything is possible."

They then limp for the door with Della in their arms, safe. Donald was happier than ever, and so was Darkwing. NegaDuck was finally out of his hair, the only complication was Gosalyn. She would be crushed, but he would help her get back up.

However, something popped in Donald's head that if three storks were able to track them from Storkburg to Saint Bernard, there must be another villain out there, coming for the blood of the McDuck's. Maybe this wasn't such a happy ending after all.

Saint Bernard, Bulba's Lab, 5 Hours Later

The remains of the ramrod sat in the middle of the entirely dark room that would soon be rubble. The building would have to be taken down because of the damages. However, even though all electricity was gone and the damages were there, a spark from the ramrod appeared.

It was red and the one spark ignited a little rift that then would turn into a giant portal. As the portal grew, footsteps could've been heard from the portal. As the footsteps grew louder. A figure soon appeared on the portal and walked through, webbed feet hitting the ground.

The figure walked through entirely and it was a duck. The duck wore a brown vest with buttons on it that held the vest together. The figure's pants were black and so were his shoes. The figure had blue eyes and an orange beak. His fur was white, just like Webby's. This duck was Reddy Vanderquack.
