It had been a year since Sonic became king.
Arthur was still too weak to be king but knew Sonic was doing fine.
Sonic was in his room when he heard something he recognized to easily so he took off his crown and put it on his table.
Then he got out of his room and ran to bump into Manic, Sonia and Knuckles. When they got outside he froze in shock.
"ROBOTNIK?!" they said together.
Everyone in Mobotropolis was shocked.
"Ah, Sonic Underground and two members of Team Sonic together this time. This will be fun." Robotnik said.
"Just Sonic Underground. Knuckles has helped up so we added him to Sonic Underground." Sonic said.
Then Sonia and Manic got their drum and keyboard while Sonic and Knuckles got into stance.
"No guitar this time?"
Sonic turned red remembering he had his medallion back on.
Manic snickered.
So Sonic hit his medallion and for the first time in three years was holding his guitar smirking. He had it last year but he hadn't actually used it in three years.
Then he aimed a laser at one of the Swatbots and got it.
"Still got it." he said and looked at Sonia and Manic. "Ready?"
"Oh yeah." Manic said.
"Let's do it." Sonia said.
"I'm all ears for a song from you three." Knuckles said.
They looked at each other, nodded and started.

Robotnik's empire running out of times" Sonic sang.

While they played Knuckles got some Swatbots while Sonic, Sonia and Manic got the others.
Then Sonic put his guitar away, backed up, ran then jumped off Knuckles' hands and kicked the Eggomatic getting him to go flying.
"Latter Buttnik!" he said when he landed on his feet and got a high five from the other three. "You still got it and I still have it in me for my guitar."
After that they headed back home.
It was Hanna's birthday and they were going to celebrate in an hour.
Sonic Underground had promised to play a song and after the fight knowing Sonic still has it in him.
Two hours later they were outside standing or sitting there in Arthur and Aleena's case waiting. Sonic was dressed as his old self right now for this.
"Alright, you're going to find out why we grew up different than we should and why we had to fight Robotnik.." Sonic said and looked at Sonia and Manic. "Ready?"
"You know it bro."

Then they played their guitar, key board and drum together in silence.

After they stopped everyone started clapping shocked at why they split up.

While they had the party everything went fine like any other celebration.
A few hours later everyone was at home.
Knuckles was spending the night with them but going home tomorrow.
Everyone was happy they had Sonic even though he's so young he's doing fine.
