A team of four guardians gets transported to the world of remnant by a exploding Vex gate. While they are there, the four will do what they do best. Kill the creatures of darkness. Drink. But, most importantly, will they get that sweat precious loot? Will they also fined something else too? But the grimm are the lest of their worses, darkness is coming. (Team RWBY x OC Team)

7. Chapter 6

Chapter 6: Intel mission and Darkened home

Team RWBY sit in Professor Port's room. Yang and Blake had kept team LIHT's secret. Ruby and Weiss didn't know team LIHT's secret. Ruby was happy for her sister. Weiss was also happy, but she would ask questions about Leo and Trevor's hometown.

"Hey, Uh, Weiss. I was think with the dance coming up. I was wondering if you wanted to go with me?" Asked Jaune

"In the end I-" Said Port, but he was cut off.

'Insert school bell ring'

"Oh. Guess I over shot that. Anyways, please do the homework I assigned to you and be vigilant students."

"Weiss? We're you listening?" Asked Jaune, in dismay.

"No. No. Yes." Said Weiss.

"I have two people in mind for the dance." Thinks Weiss.

Weiss leaves with her team. Jaune slumps in his seat and lays his head on the desk. Leo pats Jaune's back.

"Maybe next time Vomit boy." Said Trevor.

"Thanks again for looking after Clover tonight guys." Said Leo.

"No problem. What are you guys doing tonight anyways?" Asked Pyrrha.

"Nothing illegal. Just going for a drink." Said Hank.

"Aren't you guys-" Said Nora, but she was cut off.

"The bouncers don't know that." Said Issac.

Team LIHT then goes to get changed into their armour to help team RWBY tonight. They all changed into the Philomath armour set, all with shaders that make the armour more black. The four then head to team RWBY's room. Blake and Yang wear their clothes when they went on a date with Leo and Issac. Yang calls her outfit Hunter and Blake calls her outfit Intruder.

"So everyone knows the plan." Said Ruby, in her new outfit called Slayer.

Ruby's outfit consists of a long-sleeve, light gray shirt with black belted cuffs near the ends of the sleeves. Over top of the gray shirt is a black pinafore with two vertical lines of red stitching that resemble the lacing on a corset. She wears a red skirt with a large black print of her emblem on the side and matching black tulle underneath. Her stockings and shoes remain the same as her original outfit, though the boots lack the red trim that decorated the top. A few pieces of metal arranged in an abstract shape are attached to the shoulder of her left sleeve, and her cloak's hood has been wrapped around her neck in a scarf-like fashion, while the rest hangs down like normal.

"You, Hank, Trevor, and me are heading to the CCTS tower." Said Weiss, in her new outfit called Snowpea.

Weiss's outfit consists of a white, double-breasted pea coat with black piping, cuffs, and buttons over a white, pleated full skirt with black lace trim. She also wears a pair of white, thigh-high boots with black heels and lace-topped black stockings.

"Issac and I are heading to a White Fang recruitment location. Issac will be outside as a sniper if things get hairy inside the building." Said Blake.

"Me and Lion here are heading to see a old friend of ours on the shady side of Vale." Said Yang with a smirk.

"And I got Rasputin monitoring us if we need anything" Said Leo.

"Let's do this!" Said Trevor with a fist pump.

"YAY!" Yelled all of team RWBY and LIHT, along with Sun.

"Sun!? What are you doing!?" Said Leo in shock when he saw the monkey faunus.

"And how did you get up here!?" Said Weiss in shock.

"I climb trees all the time." Answered Sun.

"You what!?" Said Weiss in shock again and disgust when she thought Sun was watching them change.

"So you guys heading out to find Torchwick guy. Cool. I'll help." Said Sun, as he climbs into the room.

"Sorry Sun. This is dangerous. We don't want our friends to get involved. Sorry." Said Ruby.

'Pfft' "Thats dumb. You should always involve friends. That's why I brought Neptune." Said Sun as he points towards the window.

Both team RWBY and LIHT look out the window totem pole style. They see Neptune standing on the thin ledge of the dorm building. Leo looks at the ground and sees how far up they we're. Issac was surprised to see how far up Neptune had gotten.

"How did you get up here?" Asked Weiss.

"I have my ways." Said Neptune with a smile.

He then gets a look of fear.

"Can I come in now. We're like really high up." Said a pleading Neptune.

"It an't that high up. Try climbing all the way up to the top of Beacon Tower." Said Issac.

Neptune then comes in.

"Ok. Sun, you go with Blake and Issac. Neptune, you'll come with Yang and me." Said Leo.

"Why can't he come with me, Hank, and Trevor. Ruby could go with you guys, since she is Yang's sister." Said Weiss.

"Nah." Said Ruby.

"But but!?" Said Weiss in dismay.

Hank drags Weiss to the door, with Ruby and Trevor fallowing them. Sun high-fives Issac. Blake just rolls her eyes. Leo and Yang smirk at each other as they make their way to the lading pads, with Neptune in tow.

CCTS

Ruby, Weiss, Hank, and Trevor walk along the paths outside of the CCTS. The tower was huge. The tower itself is an enormous cylindrical building supported by four flying buttresses. The tower also doubles as Ozpin's office.

"Issac actually climbed this thing?" Asked Weiss.

"Yep. He took a selfie when he got to the top and then posted it on Dustbook." Said Hank.

Trevor finds the picture. Issac was seen doing a hand stand on the top part of the tower. There was multiple likes of the picture and multiple shares of said picture.

"He's ether insane or an idiot for climbing the tower." Said Weiss.

"But it's so cool!" Said Ruby.

"Ruby, the only reason you came along is to see the tower." Said Weiss.

"So what can you tell us about the tower." Said Hank.

"Cross Continental Transmit System, or by the short term of CCTS. Atlas was the first to built them. The one in Atlas is far bigger then this one." Said Weiss.

"Are they all connected?" Asked Trevor.

"Yes they are. All four of the towers are connected." Said Weiss with a proud smile on her face.

"Then let's say if one was destroyed? Then all of the other towers are offline. Has anyone thought of making more smaller towers just incase that happens." Said Trevor, as he sees a major flaw in the towers design.

"That would never happen. Since each tower design was modified for each kingdom by Atlas, then they should never be taken down." Said Weiss.

"Oh look at me. I'm Weiss Schnee, I know everything about the tech in Atlas." Said Ruby in a obnoxious voice.

"Don't talk to me peasants. I'm to high class for you to be talking to me." Said Trevor.

"Stop talking like that! I don't sound like that!" Said Weiss.

Ruby then takes out her scroll.

"I'm going to take a picture. Ah!" Said Ruby, as she fumbles her scroll and drops it.

The school then bounces over to a familiar person. It was Penny. She then picks up the scroll and hands it back to Ruby.

"You dropped this." Said Penny.

"Penny!? Where have you been! We last saw you at the docks!" Said Ruby in shock.

"You must have me mistaken for another person." 'Hiccup' Said Penny.

"Something's been bothering me about Penny. When we first met, I thought it was just me imagining things. Then the second time was different. I scanned her and I found something out. She isn't human, she's an android. But she acts like a human sometimes, but she is like the exo's, still new to their surroundings." Said Sheila in Hank's mind.

"Ruby come back!" Said Weiss, as Ruby runs after a fleeing Penny.

"I'll go after her. You two enjoy your date!" Said Trevor.

"Ne svidaniye (Not a date)!" Said Hank.

Weiss had turn some shades of red when Trevor went to go after Ruby and Penny. She then walks into the CCT, be it much faster then Hank. Hank joins her in the elevator, which he had to blink into when she closed it early on him. Hank then mutes himself so he could contact Rasputin.

"Yo Big Red. Can you hack into Atlas systems and find anything about Penny?" Asked Hank.

"Vy ishchete svidaniye ili chto-to. I mne nuzhno bol'she detaley (You looking for a date or something. And I need more details)." Replied Rasputin.

"Key words being, android with some human emotions and android producing aura." Said Hank.

"Dayte mne minutku (Give me a moment)…" Said Rasputin.

A few seconds pass.

"YA koye-chto poluchil (I got something)." Said Rasputin.

Rasputin then goes over what he found. Penny was the first of her kind, being the first android being able to produce aura. Hank was surprise by that, due to Remnant's people not having space fairing technology. Hank then has Sheila store that tidbit of knowledge away for future study. He then unmutes himself. The elevator was taking longer then expected to get up to the top, so he played some music. So he put on 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' by U2 on his armour's speakers.

" Yeah

Hank lets it play as they ride up. He hums the song, while Weiss listens to it. She noticed it involved a day, Sunday, and some kind of battle. Sure the song sounded weird, but it could have been from Hank's hometown. She then asked him a question.

"What's the song referring to? It sounds like some kind of battle?" Asked Weiss.

"I don't know the full story, but it involved troops killing unarmed civil rights protesters. It was in the view of a observer of the horror." Said Hank.

"That's horrible! Who would order such a thing on people wanting rights!" Said Weiss.

"Like what the faunus have wanted? Do you think they have not fought tooth and nail to get rights for themselves, even with some of them spilling blood to get it. The white fang we're never always a terrorist group, they just want to be equals with humanity." Said Hank.

The rest of the elevator ride was quiet, not counting the songs Hank played as they went up. Weiss practiced making a smile in her reflection on the door. Hank noticed the sorrow and reluctance in Weiss's eyes. The elevator then stops. They then hear a ding and the doors open. There was multiple holo-screens around the room, each having it's own booth. Each booth had a stool for students to sit on, but they could be moved if need be. Weiss then heads to booth three, with Hank standing beside her. Hank just leans on the small wall. He looks around to make sure no one is watching him. He then pulls out a small disk.

"Rasputin said to plant the disk on any of the monitors or by them. Once that is done, he can then hook up to more servers. He'll have eyes and ears everywhere. Not like he can already hack into any computer on the planet without needing the CCT towers." Said Sheila.

"It helps him focus more on his war stats and where to move them. I won't say this is a little excessive for Rasputin, but he asked for it. Have we thought of a different name for him." Said Hank.

"Leo suggested Abiather. It was a old pre golden age name that means father of remnant. But I don't think Rasputin liked it." Replied Sheila.

"I think Trevor came up with Opekun which means Guardian. While not creative, it kinda works." Said Hank.

Hank noticed Weiss was done, but she had a sadden look on her face. Weiss then stands up and heads for the elevator. With Hank fallowing. But before Hank left, he placed the disk on the main counter.

"I wonder how the others are doing?" Wondered Hank.

With Leo, Neptune, and Yang

Neptune rides with Leo. Leo drives his Hecuba-S sparrow behind Yang, who was driving her motorbike called Bumblebee. The two drivers weave through traffic towards Joiner's club.

"So this guy runs a club!?" Asked Neptune over the wind.

"Yep! He knows about anything happening in Vale!" Said Leo.

Leo then gets a call from Hank. He then mutes himself to talk to Hank.

"What is it Hank?" Asked Leo.

"Not much. Just planted the disk. Also, Rasputin found some info on Penny." Said Hank.

"What made you ask Rasputin to look up Penny?" Asked Leo.

"Well we ran into her. But she pretended not to know us. Then she ran off, with Ruby and Trevor fallowing her." Said Hank.

"But what did Rasputin find." Said Leo, as he slows to a stop at the clubs parking lot.

"She's a android with human emotions and aura. She's like the exo's, still new to the human concept and new to the world around her." Said Hank.

"Got to go Hank. We're at the club. See ya." Said Leo.

"See ya Leo and good luck." Said Hank as he hangs up.

"This is going to be a long night." Thinks Leo.

With Penny, Ruby, and Trevor

Ruby and Trevor meet with Penny by a cafe. Penny flinched when Ruby tapped her shoulder. The three walk along the sidewalk.

"I wish I could help you Ruby and Trevor. But I don't know those men." Said Penny.

"Well when you disappeared, we thought you we're kidnapped." Said Trevor.

"Yeah. Why didn't you tell us anything." Said Ruby.

"No nothing like that. I have never been to another kingdom before. My father asked me not to venture out to far, but… You guys have to understand. My father is very protective of me and he loves me very much. He just, worries to much about me." Said Penny.

"Tell me about it." Said Ruby, who was thinking about her father.

Trevor just grunted in response. He never knew his father, not that he could remember anything before the Traveler's light revived him. Penny then says she was asked not to talk to any of them. But she didn't say it was her father that asked her to do it. The three then hear a crowd up ahead. The crowd see a holo-Ironwood standing in front of six grey robots.

"The Atlesian Knight-130 have done fine job. Wouldn't you agree." Said Holo Ironwood

The AK-130's body is humanoid in shape and a metallic dark-gray in colour, with red highlights on certain parts of its body, particularly its "face" and chestplate. They possess wrist-mounted blades that also have red lines along their length.

A retractable visor-mask covers its face when it is activated. The "face" has a lower jaw but is otherwise completely blank, with a smooth, bright-red surface and no facial features. The inside of the android does not seem to have any discernible mechanical configuration, comprised completely of a bright-red colour.

"But fine isn't good enough. That is why I give to you, the Atlesian Knight-200!" Said Holo Ironwood.

The doors behind the Atlesian Knights-130's opens and six more androids come out. These androids possess a more slender, humanoid appearance than their predecessors. They are clad in white armour, with their black robotic workings visible underneath. Their armour is thin at the midsection, neck and joints, but their chest and legs appear well-protected. They are often seen with their rifles slung diagonally across their backs. The new androids kick down the older models and strike poses.

"Not bad." Said Theta.

"Guys." Said Penny.

"But Atlesian military has always supported the idea of removing men from the battlefield. Some situations do require a human touch. That is why with the help Schnee dust company and the kingdom's greatest minds have come together. So we give to you, Atlesian Paladin!" Said Holo Ironwood.

"Guys. Maybe we should go somewhere else." Said a worried Penny.

Trevor noticed the uneasy tone in Penny's voice. Then some guards notice them, more so Penny. Penny then bolts. Ruby calls out to her and runs after her. While Trevor does a gamblers dodge and goes invisible. Trevor parkours up to the root tops and fallows the two girls. He sees a large stack of wooden crates. Trevor throws down a void wall grenade, while Ruby cuts down the support beams to the crates. The guards come to a stop in front of the void wall. Trevor then sees Ruby launch herself off the walls and grabs Penny. Ruby and Penny are then launched forwards, with the help of Ruby's semblance. But Ruby cuts out of her semblance for some reason. The two go tumbling, but Ruby tumbles into the street. Trevor is then surrounded by grey smoke and he teleports down to Ruby.

"God I missed blink. I wonder why Hunters can't do it anymore? But at least my semblance is like it." Thinks Trevor, using his semblance called Warp Smoke.

Trevor would have teleported out of the way of the truck. But Penny stopped it with her bare hands. She then asked if the driver was okay, which he was. A crowd of people then form. Penny then runs down the alleyway from which she and Ruby came. The guards show up as soon as Trevor teleports away with Ruby. The two then teleport in front of Penny, who squeaks in surprise.

"Penny, how did you do that!? Why we're those guards after you!? What's wrong Penny?!" Asked Ruby.

"Nothings wrong! *Hiccup!* You guys wouldn't understand!" Said a panicked Penny.

"That your an android able to produce aura." Said Trevor.

"Trevor!? You can't-" Said Ruby, but she was cut off.

Penny grabs Trevor's cloak.

"How do you know that!?" Asked Penny in a fearful tone.

"Penny! What is Trevor saying!?" Said Ruby.

Penny then lets go of Trevor. She then holds her hands close. Penny then looks at Ruby.

"Do you trust me Ruby?" Asked a scared Penny.

"Yes I do. Now please tell me what's wrong." Said Ruby.

Penny seemed to take a deep breath. She then stares at Ruby.

"Most girls are born. I was made." Said Penny.

"What? Penny that doesn't make any scene." Said Ruby.

"Ruby, I'm not a human girl." Said Penny, as she shows her hands to Ruby.

The palms of Penny's hands had the skin torn off. But underneath the skin, was grey metal.

"She's a machine Ruby." Said Trevor.

"Oh." Said Ruby.

With Issac, Sun, and Blake

Issac lays down on a roof top. He had out the Elegy-49 sniper rifle, which had a modified scope. The scope now had thermal imaging to help out in the dark.

"So why do the white fang wear masks resembling grimm masks?" Asked Sun over the coms.

"Oh I don't know Sun? Maybe because humans see faunus as monsters, so the faunus decided to dawn masks that resemble monsters." Said a sarcastic Issac.

"That's dark." Said Sun, not noticing the sarcastic remark.

"So was the man who started it." Said Blake.

Issac watches his girlfriend and friend go into the warehouse. He repositions so he could get a better angle on any potential threats. He sees them in the crowd of new recruits. He then looks at the stage. He then sees the White Fang lieutenant on the stage. He then noticed a short female human up in the rafters. Due to the thermal view, he couldn't make out the woman's appearance. He then spots someone coming on stage.

"Heads up. Female human, on your eleven o'clock in the rafters. And the White Fang's new friend is coming on stage from the left." Said Issac.

"Thanks for the heads up Issac." Said Blake.

Since coming to the warehouse, Issac was kicking himself for not bring any ease dropping equipment. Issac sees the faunus crowd cheer about something. Roman then has the curtain fall, showing a Atlesian Paladin, but with the White Fang symbol. Issac sees the crowd cheer, with the new recruits moving forwards.

"Issac! We need a way out!" Said Blake in a panic tone.

"Roman can't see in the dark. Lights out." Said Issac.

Issac feels the sniper rifle jump in his arms. The dust bullet was glowing and when it entered the building, it redirected itself to the power box. Issac called his semblance Bullet Control. With it, he could redirect his bullets at will to hit his target. He just needs to have the target in his line of sigh or have the placement of the target for him to hit it. Luckily Fin had the sciatics of the warehouse, so Issac was able to hit the power box.

"Sun, the window!" Said Blake, from the com link.

'SHATTER!'

Issac fires off a 'Way of the Trapper' Shadowshot tether. Roman's mech was halted for a few seconds, which was all the three needed to gain some distance. The mech then comes smashing out of the warehouse. The three run and jump roof top to roof top. Issac had Rasputin get any and all civilians off the roads they would take, ether by hacking into the GPS or making fake news.

"Don't you think we should, I don't know, call for back up!" Said Sun.

Issac unholsters his new weapon. It was a oversized Doloire. It was mostly black with silver trim. On the axe head, sight, barrel, and magazines, was the hunter's insignia in silver. Issac named his weapon Prizrak, which means Wraith in Russian. Issac switches it to gun mode and switches it to single shot.

With Yang, Neptune, and Leo

"Well that was a bust." Said Yang.

"Yeah. But he could have had other info. We we're just asking the wrong questions. But to late now, the others should be-" Said Leo, but Yang's scroll goes off.

It was Blake. Yang turns it onto speaker and holds it up. But they then hear some gun shots.

"Guys help! It's Roman! He in some kind of-" Said Blake, but she was cut off.

"Blake watch out! We need back up and-" Said Issac but a certain monkey cuts him off.

"Hhhhhheeellllpppp!" Cried Sun.

"Blake where are you?!" Said Yang.

Thundering foot steps are then heard. Sun, Issac, and Blake come running by a few blocks away. With the mech right on their tails. Leo had out his sparrow and had his Saints Requiem equipped onto his back. Neptune hops onto Bumblebee with Yang. The three then gun the engines.

With Trevor and Ruby

A flustered Ruby finishes hammering down some nails onto a large garbage bin. Why? Well after Penny told her origins, the same guards we're coming. So Penny being Penny, decides to grab Trevor and Ruby. Then Penny threw the two into the dumpster, with Trevor's helmet coming off. As the Penny and the guards left, a rat startled Ruby, which made her jump in fear. But that landed her to fall on Trevor. Which then lead them to accidentally kiss.

"There! All done!" Said Ruby.

"Yang's going to kill me when she finds out." Said Trevor.

The two then get the call. Trevor brings out his sparrow and Ruby hops on.

"Let's ride!" Said Ruby.

As the two drive out of the alleyway. Trevor then glances at Ruby.

"We both agree that whatever happened in that alleyway. Stays in that alleyway. Right?" Said Trevor.

"Ah! Yeah! Totally! No one needs to find out!" Said Ruby.

"God/By the Traveller. I'm in love with him/her!" Thinks Trevor and Ruby, thinking ruffly the same thing.

With Weiss and Hank

The two weave around traffic. Hank was speeding through the streets when they got the call. Weiss squeaks in fear when they run a red light and drift around a corner towards the freeway. Hank had strapped his new weapon to his sparrow. His weapon was a large double handed broadsword, with a .50 caliber sniper rifle transformation. Its name was Glaza smerti, which was Russian for Eyes of Death. The scope had a symbol reminiscent to the one associated with cult that worships Osiris.

"Are you trying to kill us!?" Said a scared Weiss, as they almost blindside a semi truck.

"I'm trying to get our position as soon as possible! Rasputin is getting any and all civilians off the freeway! Here's our stop!" Said Hank, as he drifts in and de-spawns his sparrow.

But Weiss was thrown up into the air. Hank then uses his semblance to make the winds push him forward to catch Weiss. Hank catches Weiss bridal style, much to the shorter girl's embarrassment.

"You okay Weiss?" Asked Hank.

"Yeah. Can you please put me down." Said Weiss, with some blush on her face.

Hank's semblance was named, Wind Storm. Hank could control the wind, from low breezes to hurricane level wind storms. But by doing hurricane or even tornado level storms, drains his aura very quickly. So he has made his own attunements for his semblance, which he hasn't made up name for this new subclass only he has. So far he has named his super ability, which it called Tempestas Hurricane. A roaming super, where Hank has a small hurricane surround him, with some smaller tornadoes circling the hurricane. Hank will also hover, with a tornado kicking up underneath him. Hank can then sweep his hands to launch the smaller tornados at his enemies. This only lasts a few minutes, around two to four minutes. But he can extend this time by adding in the power of the Light.

"I'm glad aura and the Traveller's light are compatible. The Light sure has boosted our aura and semblances. Leo can now dodge multiple projectiles. Issac can apply his semblance to his throwing knives by a small degree. Trevor has extended his range for his semblance." Thinks Hank.

"You think the Light could amplify dust as well?" Asked Sheila.

"I'll have to test that sooner or later. But here they come." Thinks Hank.

"Ruby. Hank and I are in position." Said Weiss.

With Blake, Yang, Issac, and Leo

"Sun! Neptune!" Calls Leo in worry

Sun and Neptune had been thrown from the freeway. Leo had Issac with him. While Yang had caught Blake. The four try their best to get Roman's attention, but he just kept running. Thanks to Rasputin, the freeway was mostly cleared, with only a few cars, so civilian casualties would be a all time low.

"Heads up!" Called Issac.

"Wow!" Said Leo in surprise, since a rocket was heading towards them.

"Weiss is in position, along with Hank!" Said Blake.

"Get Roman off the freeway! Weiss, freeze the road!" Said Leo.

"On it Leo!" Said Weiss, from the com link.

They see a sheet of ice form, a good four to five to six inches thick. They then get Roman to step onto the ice, making the mech slip and fall down off the freeway. The three guardians jump after Roman, with Trevor and Ruby showing up not long after. Once Yang locked her bike up, she and Blake joined their team to fight.

Down bellow

"On you right!" Said Trevor, using Daiyamondo Nami to shot down some rockets.

"Thanks!" Said Issac, as he does a gamblers dodge.

Team RWBY then joins the fight. Yang fires some shot from her weapon, but she was almost hit by some gun fire. Blake and Issac work together. Weiss sees multiple missiles heading towards the couple, so she makes a yellow time glyph. The two soon are covered in a yellow aura. Then in a blink of an eyes, the couple slice apart the missiles.

"Thanks Weiss!" Said Issac.

"We need to blind it!" Said Blake.

"Freezerburn!" Said Ruby.

"One Thousand Volts!" Said Leo.

Trevor brings out One Thousand Voices and Issac brings Anarchy. Issac fires off three shots and a arc field forms. Trevor fires his fusion rifle and does a line on the left arm, which then explodes. Weiss makes a thick sheet of ice, which Roman activates spikes in the feet, so he didn't slip again. But Yang jumps high into the air and lands on the ice, with her using fire dust rounds to melt the ice. A thick cloud of mist forms. Roman switches on some lasers to help aim.

"Leo? Something's happening. Do you feel it? Our Light. It's growing stronger!" Said Ying.

Theta, Fin, and Sheila said the same thing. Leo, Issac, Hank, and Trevor then glow a etherial white colour. This allowed Roman to see them, but when he shot at them, the four guardians we're faster. Leo was able to jump twice his height, when he dodged a few shots from the paladin's cannons. Hank's Wind Storm semblance was even more powerful as well, to the point it threw the mech a good few feet up into the air. But then Yang jumped onto the back of the mech. She then fired off some shots, till Roman rammed the back of the paladin into a pillar, which knocked Yang off. Roman then punched Yang threw the same pillar, making her skip across the ground.

"Yang!" Said Leo in worry.

"Don't worry. Yang gets stronger the more she's hit. That what makes her special." Said Blake.

Leo then brings out his Burning Maul and charges Roman's mech. Leo spins around Roman and damages the legs. Yang stands up and her hair is set ablaze. Roman knocks Leo back and throws a punch at Yang. But Yang blocked the punch, with the ground around her breaking apart. Yang then throws her own punch and the mechs left arm is smashed to pieces.

"Nice one Yang!" Said Hank.

"We need to keep it in place. White Rose!" Said Ruby.

Ruby fires ice dust rounds into a white glyph made by Weiss. Issac and Trevor both fire off multiple Way of the Pathfinder tethers. Roman's mech is covered in a purple aura and it moves very sluggishly. Blake throws her weapon at Yang, with Blake holding onto the ribbon. Blake then spins around, with Yang using her weapons to increase his rotation. Yang then does one last rotation and launches herself at the mech.

'CLANG!'

'SHATTER!'

The mech shatters into multiple fragments. Roman rolls around on the ground for a bit, till he comes to a stop.

"I just got this thing dry cleaned. Anyways kiddies, ice queen." Said Roman.

"Hey!" Said Weiss in anger due to the nickname everyone calls her.

Yang fires off a round, but it was blocked by a young woman based of Neapolitan ice cream.

"Right on time Neo." Said Roman.

Neo wears a white cropped wide, broad tailed jacket with a pink interior, collar, a single gold button and large pink cuffs. She wears brown pants with a dark belt that has a gray buckle and an additional narrow belt under it. Under her jacket is a brown corset, curved in the middle and at the bottom, exposing her hips. She also wears a multitude of black beaded necklaces, which hang haphazardly around her neck. Neo also wears black and white spat styled under the knee boots alongside black gloves.

"Your not going anywhere!" Said Trevor.

Yang and Trevor go to attack the two criminals. But Neo does a bow. Just as Yang's fist and Trevor's weapon come into contact with Neo. She and Roman explode apart in glass like fragments. The sound of a bullhead is then heard. The four guardians fire their weapons at the fleeing criminals, but to no avail.

"Well that certainly fell apart." Said Weiss, trying to do a pun.

'SMACK!'

The four guardians all face palm. While Ruby giggles a bit. Blake rolls her eyes. Yang just shakes her head.

"Just no Weiss. There is a time and a place for that." Said Yang.

"You do it all the time!" Said Weiss.

"Yeah, but she does it at the right time and place. You just need to chill Weiss." Said a smirking Leo.

Yang laughs. While Weiss was fuming at Leo's pun. The eight then walk back to the roads and head back to Beacon.

Two days later, in the Emerald Forest

"So how was the investigation?" Asked Ren.

Teams LIHT, RWBY, and JNPR are out in the Emerald Forest. The three teams we're looking for some kind of disturbance in the furthest part of the forest.

"Not much. Just White Fang heading northwest of Vale." Said Yang.

So what do you think Ozpin wanted use to find?" Wondered Jaune.

"So kind of pulse." Said Leo.

Not much was said about the four guardians glowing two days ago. More so, they had stopped glowing after the fight. The twelve then hear something. A mechanical sound, which was sending warning bells off in the guardians heads.

"Vex!" Thought Leo, Issac, Hank, and Trevor.

Bolts of red energy come flying out of the shrubbery. Vex goblins come marching out of the bush, with a few Hobgoblins with them. The huntsmen and four guardians all take cover.

"What are they?!" Said Ren, as he fires his weapons.

"I can't get a signal! Something must be jamming my scroll!" Said Blake.

"Aim for the white part in the chest! That's a Vex's only weak point!" Said Leo, as he brings out Malfeasance.

Malfeasance is a odd looking hand cannon. It's barrel is covered in some kind of black smoke with a green trim. The metal is black, and all over the weapon are golden lines. The barrel also had openings in it.

"What are the Vex!?" Said Weiss.

"Hydra!" Said Hank.

A large bronze Hydra comes flouting in. A Hydra Vex unit is very dangerous. With its three rotating shields and devastating cannon fires. Some guardians describe them as robotic centipedes, due to the rib like parts on the sides of the Hydra. The Hydra fires it's main cannons at the group.

"Scatter!" Said Issac.

"Where do we shot that one!" Said Yang, as she fires a shot but it hits the shields.

"In the big red eye!" Said Trevor.

Another smaller Hydra comes out as well, but from behind them. The twelve then run for it. Thou the four guardians could easily take out the Vex, their friends wouldn't last long. The twelve run, with the Vex following them.

"Their chasing us somewhere!" Said Ruby.

"Stop!" Said Leo.

They all skid to a stop. A small to medium sized vex portal. Then suddenly, twelve wrist sized rings fly towards the group.

'CLICK!'

The rings click shut on everyone wrists. They all try to remove them, but the Vex show up. The Vex all shot at them. They all take cover behind some rocks or Vex structures. Jaune goes to fire some bullets from Bygones, when a Vex goblin's energy bolt strikes his should and the bullets hit the portal. The Portal then glows brightly and begins to destabilize. The Vex pay no mind to this, but the three teams do. Jaune looks at the portal.

"Oh son of a-" Said Jaune, but he was cut off.

'KABOOM!'

A pillar of light explodes upwards. After the light dies down, a vex console appears and English words appear.

[Test subjects return time, 2 Hours. Test subjects return time, 1 hour 59 minutes 59 seconds.]

The screen shows a count down for when the three teams will return. But where did they go? And how long will it be for them?

Location, Terrabase Charon, Io

"Everyone good? Sound off." Said Leo.

"We're good." Said Issac, Hank, and Trevor.

"We're alive." Said team RWBY.

"Still breathing." Said team JNPR.

"Where are we?" Asked Pyrrha.

The twelve look around. To the two other teams, it was some kind of base or mining area. To the guardians, it was all too familiar. It was a Cabal base on Io, where they helped Asher Mir do a experiment.

"Io. We're on Io." Said Hank, feeling the Light in the moon.

"Okay? Where's Io?" Asked Weiss.

A quake happens. A geyser of liquid light erupts not far from where they we're standing. Everyone was hit by the glowing liquid. Team RWBY and the JNR members of team JNPR we're only lightly drenched. But Pyrrha was completely soaked in the light.

"What is this stuff?!" Said Weiss.

A howl is heard. Some Taken where near by. Leo and his team usher everyone towards the exit. Some Taken Thrall walk into the area.

"What are they!? Those don't look like grimm!?" Said Nora, feeling very off.

"Taken. A blight on the on solar system." Said Trevor.

"We need to leave. But we won't get far on foot." Said Hank.

"Why not use this odd bullhead." Said Ren, as he points at a Cabal drop ship.

"Think you can fly that Hank?" Asked Issac.

"Worth a try." Said Hank.

Everyone pills in. Hank sits in the large seat and takes off. As they fly out, the four guardians see something that shouldn't be on Io. A large black Pyramid ship hovers over the surface of Io, with a storm brewing underneath it.

"Thats the same ship from those cave drawings from when we met Xur!" Said Jaune.

"But what is it doing?" Said Pyrrha.

"All right you four! You have… Are you guys okay?" Said Weiss, who noticed the horrified looks on her friends faces.

"No. No no no no no no no no! That thing shouldn't be here!" Said Leo, in obvious horror.

"The darkness has come back. I wished I wasn't around to see the coming of a second collapse." Said Issac.

Trevor dropped to his knees and stared down at the floor. Then suddenly, the guardian's ghosts come out. All seemed in distress.

"Ying!? Whats wrong!?" Said Leo.

"Ah! No! Stay out! Leo!? It's the-" Said Ying, but she stopped mid sentence.

Ying, Theta, Fin, and Shiela all look at everyone.

"Theta? You there buddy?" Said Trevor.

"Four guardians? Here? Interesting." Said Ying, but her voice had a cold tone to it.

"What's going on!?" Said a scared Ruby.

The four ghosts look at teams RWBY and JNPR. The four ghosts all chuckle.

"Eight from a world me and the Traveler left behind." Said Theta.

"Why are you here! And what have you done to our ghosts!" Said Issac in anger.

"We heard a noise of people." Said Sheila.

"What noise?" Asked Hank.

"You made it...we have heard your cries for help. And now, we will answer." Said Theta.

"Who are you?" Asked Leo.

Holograms of Leo, Issac, Hank, and Trevor come out of the four ghosts. Each hologram of the members of team LIHT all have their helmets off. But each had a cold look in their eyes.

"Don't you recognize us?" Asked holo Leo, spreading his arms

"We are not your friend." Said holo Issac.

"We are not your enemy." Said holo Hank

"We are your... salvation." Said holo Trevor, say the last word in a dark tone and he seemed to be glaring at them.

The four holograms then go away and the four ghosts drop to the floor. Leo catches Ying and Sheila. Trevor catches Theta. Issac dives to catch Fin. The drop ship rocks violently. Hank strains to keep it stabile.

"We got fighters of unknown origin firing at use!" Said Hank.

"Get us to Earth! Take us to the Last City!" Ordered Leo.

"Leo… I… It was." Said a scared Ying, but she felt so helpless for what happened.

"It's okay Ying. Hank! We could use a jump now!" Said Leo.

"Hold onto your buts!" Said Hank.

The drop ship goes into jump space. But a fighter damages one of the engines.

Locations, Near Trostland District, EDZ Earth

The drop ship comes in hot. The four guardians do their best to help anyone. Ying says there is a drop pod in the back of the ship.

"Well they even survive in that thing!?" Said Issac, as he was thrown up and bashed into the ceiling.

"It's better then dying in a blaze of fire!" Said Trevor.

Trevor and Leo usher everyone into the drop pod. Issac makes some adjustments with the help of the ghosts. Hank calls for Leo. Issac and Trevor blast open the back end. The two teams all feel like their in a maraca.

"On three! One! Two! Three! Heave ho!" Said Issac.

"See you guys on the ground!" Said Trevor.

The ship lurched as the drop pod fell out. Issac and Trevor barely hang on. Hank and Leo try to do a crash landing, but it was going to kill them.

"Brace for impact!" Said Hank.

'CLANG!'

'KABOOM!'

The drop pod lands hard. The drop ship impacts not far from the pod, but not close enough to cause any damage. The drop pod opens up, with it's occupants rolling out. Team RWBY was in a dog pile. However team JNPR we're in more awkward positions. Ren had landed onto of Nora, his face in her chest. For Pyrrha and Jaune is was the reverse. Jaune had landed on his back and Pyrrha was the one to land on top of him, with her chest landing on his face.

"Ah! Sorry!" Said Ren, as he springs up rather quickly and with very red cheeks.

Jaune was speechless, so was Pyrrha and Nora.

"Get a room you guys." Said Yang.

Team JNPR would have said somethings, but the voice of their friends ghosts call out.

"Yang! Ruby! Where are you guys!" Called Ying.

"Are you guys okay!" Called Theta.

"Sound off! Are you guys injured!?" Called Sheila.

"Over there!" Said Fin.

The four ghosts fly over to the two teams. The two teams flinch on how fast the four drones come over. Theta does a full scan on them, much to teams displeasure.

"What are you four! Where…Where's Leo and his brothers!?" Said Ruby, who noticed the missing members of their group.

'KABOOM!'

The drop ship explodes again. The two teams rush over to the burning ship. They begin to move metal around, the pieces that weren't on fire or not to hot too the touch. The four ghost all scan the wreckage. Till Ruby noticed two arms of different armour pieces.

"Over there!" Said Ruby.

The eight head over, with Theta and Sheila fallowing. It was Trevor and Hank, but both brothers weren't breathing. Each had been pinned by support beams. Both their arms and legs were bended at the wrong angles, with both brother's necks appearing to be snapped. Ruby buries her face in her sisters chest. Weiss was hugging Blake for comfort. Team JNPR couldn't look away at the bodies of their friends, even thou they wanted to look away.

"No." Said Nora in a sorrowful tone as she hugs Ren.

Jaune was on the verge of tears, with Pyrrha right behind him. But Theta and Sheila split apart. The parts spinning faster and the ghosts we're glowing a bright light.

"What are you doing?" Asked a grieving Weiss.

The two ghosts quickly go back together and a pulse of light happens. Hank and Trevor also glow a white light. Both then gasp a big breath of air.

"A landing you can walk away from is a good land. Am I right." Said Trevor.

"Not now Bro." Said Hank.

"AAAAAAA! ZOMBIE!" Screams Nora.

"Not so loud damn it! A little help." Said Hank.

Those able to get over their shock, help remove the support beams. Ying and Fin also release a pulse of light. Leo shoves a piece of a engine off himself. While Issac shoves some dirt and scrape metal off himself. A roar of a Fallen is heard. The four guardians brings their friends to one of their old friend.

In the Trostland church

Devrim Kay is a old man and a dead zone scout. He had a greying hair and beard. He wears a forest camo hoodie, with a black short sleeve shirt underneath.

"I miss you Mark. But it's time to turn in for the night." Said Devrim.

Most guardians had headed back to the Last City to rest and go to bed as well, well not Hunters. Devrim would had some last minute tea, but the Taken had infested the water works again, so he would have to notify Zavala about it in the morning. Devrim slowly lays down on his couch and closes his eyes. When suddenly a loud voice surprises him and he fires off a shot of his rifle.

"Jesus! Devrim! It's me! Leo! Along with by brothers Issac, Hank, and Trevor!" Said Leo, who near got a bullet in the head.

"Leo? Leo!? Your alive old cum!" Said Devrim as he sees his old friend.

Leo and his brothers go over to Devrim to greet him. Leo whistles down to the main floor, which confused Devrim. But that confusion soon left when eight teams in very colourful clothes come up his stairs.

"What are you kids doing outside of the city limits. You all should know it's against the rules." Said a stern Devrim.

"Uh yeah. Devrim. You may want to sit down." Said Trevor.

The four guardians then go over their tale. From appearing on Remnant and enrolling in a Huntsmen academy. Then Vex teleporting their enemies to their world. They then go over Remnant's own darkness, even showing pictures and data they had on certain grimm. Devrim strokes his beard.

"That is quite a tale you four. A world with dark beasts and strange elemental dust. To even the Traveler and Pyramids making something together. Zavala will have to know about this." Said Devrim.

"Now it's our turn. What has happened since we disappeared?" Asked Hank.

Devrim tells them what he has heard and seen. Mars, Io, Mercury, and Titan we're gone. Sloane's suicide mission when the evacuation order was given. Asher Mir caving in the pyramidion. Brother Vance entering the Infinite Forest. Ana Bray was the only one to return, with a offline Rasputin and a advanced/experimental Exo body. Then to the Traveler healing itself. But the most shocking thing, was the raise of the Fallen house of Darkness. But the last nail in the coffin, was guardians using the power of darkness in the form of Stasis.

"We need to get to the Last City. Devrim. I know-" Said Leo.

"Say no more. I have more then enough glimmer for two ships. You lot just get home and report to Zavala. I will tell him that him and Ikora, that they have some very important guardians to meet in the hanger. Get going." Said Devrim.

"Thanks." Said Issac

The four guardians all decide to make two Celestial Tour ships.

"Let's move out. Let's head home." Said Leo.

Leo and Issac take team RWBY with them. While Hank and Trevor take team JNPR. The two ships then blast off up into the atmosphere and head towards the Last City of earth.

Outside of the storm surrounding the Last City

"Turn around Leo! That storm will tare us apart!" Said Weiss.

"Unidentified guardian ships. Please submit flight codes." Said a voice from the coms.

"This is guardian ship number, Zulu-5-6-X ray-Delta-Foxtrot-1." Said Theta.

"This is guardian ship number, Alfa-4-Bravo-Omega-Charlie-9-Mike." Said Ying, using the ships number.

"Must be some old ships. Codes received. Proceed." Said the voice.

"Lets go guys." Said Leo.

The two ships rocket into the storm. Both team RWBY and JNPR all huddle near the cockpit to look out the window. The two teams see lightning and heavy rain fall surround them. But then the clouds and the storm soon disappear. Both teams all gawk at the sight. A large city is in the centre of the storm. A large wall surrounds it. Two towers are apart of the wall. But the most eyes catching of the sight, is the massive white sphere flouting above the city.

"The Traveler. She's all healed." Said Hank.

"She?" Said a confused Jaune, Ruby, Nora, Weiss, Pyrrha, and Ren.

"Guardians. Welcome home." Came the voice of commander Zavala.

"We are heading for the hanger. We will meet you there." Came the voice of Ikora.

The coms then cut out.

"Who we're they?" Asked Ruby.

"That would be my vanguard overseer. Commander Zavala. The woman you heard was Warlock overseer, her name is Ikora Ray." Said Leo.

"What about this Hunter vanguard overseer?" Asked Weiss.

Blake elbows Weiss.

"He's… No longer with us." Said a saddened Issac.

"I… Never mind." Said Weiss, feeling guilty for bring up the topic.

The two ships fly into the hanger. Blake made sure her bow was on right and tight enough it wouldn't fall off. Once they land, the teams RWBY and JNPR see Zavala, beside him is Ikora. Zavala wears a mostly red and chrome armour, with a large left shoulder armour piece. The most defining thing about the man, was his blue skin. Ikora wore a robe like armour that had mostly dark purple and light purple. She was human, with brown skin and a shaved head.

"Stay here." Ordered Leo.

Zavala and Ikora had gotten the call from Devrim that a important fireteam need to see them in the hanger. They we're getting ready to turn in when they got the call. To their shock and surprise, also joy for Ikora. It was fireteam Crackdown.

"Fireteam Crackdown!? We thought you we're all dead." Said Zavala.

"Yeah we will explain that in your office, all twelve of us." Said Leo.

"Twelve. Your time is only four people." Said Ikora.

"Yeah about that. You guys can come out now." Said Hank.

Teams RWBY and JNPR nervously come out of the two ships. Ruby was holding Yang's hand, same for Ren and Nora. Ikora had a surprised look on her face. While Zavala had a hardened face.

"Talk." Said Zavala.

After one long explanation in Zavala's office

"This is very concerning." Said Ikora.

"Agreed." Said Zavala.

After the teams explained the situation. Zavala had stayed relatively quiet and had on a face of concern. Ikora wanted to see some of their weapons, with Ruby showing her's off first.

"You made this yourself? That is quite a feet Ms Rose." Said Ikora.

"Oh stop you making me blush. But Crescent Rose can also do this!" Said Ruby, as she turns her weapon into it's scythe mode.

Ikora didn't flinch when the overly sized sniper rifle transformed, but she had a look of surprise in her eyes. Zavala gives a sigh.

"She's like a mini, human female version Cayde." Thinks Zavala, as he thinks Cayde would take Ruby under his wing right away if he was still alive.

But then he looks at the Vex tech on the twelve's wrists. The techs purpose was unknown and Zavala didn't want to call in him, breaching the rules of his punishment.

"I guess it is only right to tell you four what has happened since your disappearance." Said Zavala.

Zavala tells about the nightmares, shadow enemies from their past coming forth due to a pyramid ship underneath the moons surface, and a hive scarlet keep. Then the undying minds death and the black garden reopening. The Cabal tampering with time to alter the outcome of the Red War. Then the Almighty being sent on a crash course with the Last City. Then the most shocking, the arrival of the darkness and pyramid ships.

Leo was sitting in a chair, with his hands on his head. Yang was comforting him. Hank looked ready to jump out of the window, but Weiss was calming him down. Issac was clinging to Blake. Trevor was standing in the corner.

"Most call this year, 'Season of the Hunt' due to the Hive war god Xivu Arath moves to seize power. But Europa has seen the most change. Eramis, the Kell of the House of Darkness, has gained powers of the darkness." Said Ikora.

"Yeah, Devrim told us that." Said Leo.

"Well she was defeated months ago. But mostly all the guardians here have the power over stasis. There has been some close calls thou, with some almost being consumed. I may not agree with their actions, but they did this to protect our home." Said Zavala.

"But how do we get home?" Asked Jaune.

"We call a old comrade of mine." Said a deep, thick Russian accented voice.

They all turn to see the most famous titan in the door way. A hulking 'man' comes in. He wears mostly silver armour, with purple clothes wrapped around certain areas of the armour. His helmet has a single purple line in the middle and a mohawk like ornament. This was Saint-14, the hero of six fronts. Leo was as still as a statue. Saint-14 gives off a booming laugh.

"Hahaha! All guardians are like that when they meet me! Good to meet you fellow Titan!" Said Saint-14.

'THUD!'

Leo had fainted, along with Trevor.

"But they never do that thou? Ah, you must be the eight most other guardians are talking about." Said Saint-14.

"Uh, hi. Is Leo going to be okay?" Asked Yang.

"He should come around soon." Said Ying.

Saint-14 spots Jaune's sword.

"Young man. May I see you weapon?" Asked Saint-14.

"Oh uh? Sure Mr fourteen sir." Said Jaune.

"Call me Saint boy. My, what a wonderful blade you have." Said Saint.

"Thank you sir. It's a handy down. It belonged to my great-grandfather. He fought in the Great War!" Said a proud Jaune.

"AH! A worriers blood flows though you! Maybe we should spare some time." Said Saint, as he brushes the sheath.

The sheath spasms out and goes to shield to sheath. Jaune was able to get it under control thou. Nora laughs.

"You think that's cool! Check this out!" Said Nora, as she brings out Magnhid.

Ikora was the one to show great surprise was she saw Nora transform her grenade launcher into a Warhammer. While Zavala and Saint both show great interest.

"Is that a Warhammer that transforms into a grenade launcher?" Asked Saint.

"Yep!" Said Nora, as she goes up to Saint to show him.

The two talk a bit. Hank slams his head into the wall.

"Obviously Nora is going to have fun wrestling other titans. Or drive them mad." Thinks Hank.

After a good few minutes, Leo wakes up. Once they all catch up, Zavala sits back down in his chair.

"So now what do we do?" Asked Ren.

"Now, you twelve rest. It has been a long day. We will meet up tomorrow morning near a statue. And then…" Said Zavala, as he pauses.

"And then what?" Asked Blake.

"We find away to get you lot home and find a way to make a gate to Remnant." Said Zavala.

Done! So very very very sorry about this. Haven't played Destiny in a long time and been having a writers block. Not only that, I'm trying to find a new place to rent and my job is giving me lots of shifts. So yeah. Anyways, I will be giving my OCs Stasis, and some of the exotics. Teams RWBY and JNPR getting soaked in liquid light will come up in later chapters. I changed a bit of the lore with the end of 'Season of the Arrival', with Io vanishing. From a real world/my point, Io must have been ether covered up by Darkness or the Darkness has claimed Io as it's own. But that's my thought. Till next time guys. Fight on guardians.
