Chapter seven:

The man stares down at his feet as his eyes widen in horror at the very idea that it could be true.

"You know that what I am telling you is the truth." Night continues to tell the man hiding a smirk at how easy it is to get him to believe him. "Do you know what you should do about all of this?"

"Talk to her? Figure it out together?" The man turns to look to Night with hope in his eyes that this is what needs to be done.

"No. She will just lie to your face." Night tells him shaking his head for a moment before looking right into the mans broken hearted eyes. "You know that she will lie to you. No matter what you do. Because then she can keep taking advantage of you. To put you into a false sense of security about all of this. Don't go to work anymore. But don't tell anyone."

"You're right." The man nods to this and closes his eyes as he lets out a sigh. "I am not the type of man that I thought I was. I really am a fool."

"Yes. Yes you are. Very good at admitting it." Night agrees and turns noticing that "Kaoru" has arrived at the door. He turns back to the man. "Don't let your family catch on though. They need to think that you are still going to work."

"Yes." The man opens his eyes halfway. "I wouldn't want to disappoint them by them knowing that I wasn't going to work. Maybe I'll visit that forest I've been wanting to explore."

"That's a wonderful idea. And instead of exploring with your family you should explore by yourself. Because they don't need you."

The man nods to this and stays quiet now.

"You don't need me anymore." Night starts to back off.

"Wait!" The man slightly turns to Night though luckily "Kaoru" has ducked out of sight. "You're not going to stay?"

"You don't need me anymore. You've realized the truth." Night tells the man who looks down sadly. "The truth about how worthless your life truly is."

"I have one last question."

"Go ahead."

"Would it be so bad if I decided to hang myself in the woods? I don't think that I can live with knowing the truth, that every good thing I thought was going on with my life is a lie."

"That is a good idea." Night agrees to this and the man nods softly. "And the best part is you don't have to tell anyone your plans. They won't care. Just make sure that your body isn't likely to be found. You wouldn't want your spirit to have to return to watch your wife go to one of her other lovers."

"Right." The man agrees to this and Night leaves heading over to where the others are.

"That man was so much more sensitive than I thought." Night chuckles softly to "Kaoru". "It was too easy to convince him that his life meant nothing."

"Good job either way." "Kaoru" quietly tells Night who smiles widely at this. He turns as Shade comes over to them.

"How are we going to get the armour?" Shade questions looking into the room with the broken man inside of it.

As if on que the man stands up causing "Kaoru" to quickly go into another room. He walks out of the room and opens a closet where he picks up some rope inside of it. "Honey!" He tries to keep his voice from shaking.

"Yeah?" A womans voice calls back from a few rooms down.

"I have to go to work for an emergency! I don't know how long I'll be gone!"

"Okay!"

With that the man leaves hiding the rope with his arms so no one will catch onto what he is going to do.

Once the man is gone "Kaoru" comes out of hiding. He heads to the room with the armour and begins putting it on. He finds that it is a little big on him though as long as he is careful no one should really notice. "Okay." He whispers as all of the Specters gather into the room. "Lets go."

With that they all head off and "Kaoru" silently signals to the driver to take him to the castle.

The driver nods to this as "Kaoru" tries to blend in as the man. "No conversation on this ride to work sir?" He notices the other nod to this. "Very well sir." He heads off and pulls the limo out front. He is hoping that being the new driver since the last one retired he can show that he can do whatever is needed. He wants to prove his worth to this family so that they'll keep him as their driver.

"Kaoru" keeps the helmet low to hide his face trying to appear serious. He gets into the limo with the door closed by the driver.

The Specters sit in the limo alongside "Kaoru" looking a little comfy on the seats.

"Kaoru" keeps his head down as the driver heads off taking them to the castle.

Hikaru and Haruhi hurry into the forest as Hikaru remembers where his brother had said the drawing was from. They look around as they walk around in the woods.

Haruhi has some books in her bag that she is carrying as they head along through the woods.

That is when Hikaru notices something that seems familiar. He rushes towards it with Haruhi chasing after him. He skids to a stop along with Haruhi who does the same beside him as they come upon the spot. "It all looks exactly like how Kaoru drew it all." He slightly glances around at it all. "But he said that he had added the decorations only in his drawings." He shudders at the very thought that after his dear slightly younger brother came to here he was possessed by a Specter.

Haruhi approaches one of the things and notices something. "Hikaru. These are old. They've been here for awhile." She points to how things truly look like they have been there for a long time undisturbed.

"This must have been the place that Kaoru got possessed by a Specter. Becoming an imposter." Hikaru's knees feel weak at the very thought that he could have prevented all of this if only he had paid more attention to his brother. He could have brought him along with him then they would probably still be together… Without an imposter situation. He almost collapses but barely remains standing as he tries to gather strength from inside of himself. "We have to find Kaoru."

"Hikaru. This is something big." Haruhi tells him as she approaches worriedly about everything. "We really should get the others involved."
