Story Notes: All of my suggested music is what I use to visualize the scenes and characters in my head. For some songs it's the lyrics and more others it's the emotion. I typically use Powerwolf music for my fight scenes. Secession Studio's music is excellent for tense and dramatic scenes when I'm relying on emotion and actions instead of dialogue. My favourite for this chapter is number four Sometimes dialogue is unneeded. I made up some of the locations in this fiction. I hope they are alright and match the story. I also want to thank Hawki for the recent review for Requiem, my Adventures of Tintin one Shot story. Thank you so much for highlighting where I went wrong. Commas are still a problem for me. I'm doing my best to improve it.

Chapter 7

Tintin's thoughts continued as he made his way through the countryside of Borduria.

The Bordurian Police don't just chase after anyone. They must be interested in you for some reason, he silently theorized.

As the sun started to peek over the horizon, it spread over the arable farmland. Green fields highlighted upon the edges, broken off by craggy stone walls. The countryside remained a far cry from the bustling non-stop city of Szohod. The green patchwork rolling hills appeared to continue for miles. He hadn't taken the time to appreciate such beauty for a while. For the first time in 24 hours, Tintin started to relax. He needed to sleep, but more importantly, he had to elude the Bordurian forces for long enough to get out of the Country. As he met a junction, he didn't even have to think about it. He immediately turned right knowing that going towards Oztra would take him nearer to the professors. As he turned the corner, Dr Krikov woke from his snooze, pulling himself up in his seat.

"Where are we?" Krikov yawned, stretching himself.

"About six miles out of Oztra. It's 7 am. No one is following us this time,"

"Thank goodness," Krikov breathed with relief. "Where are we heading?"

"To the safe house,"

"I thought you were just going to run,"

"I need my papers to stand a chance of getting over the border,"

Krikov nodded in agreement.

As Tintin turned the corner, all hope of his plan completely disappeared. He skidded to a halt in front of a Bordurian Police roadblock.

In moments guns pointed at them from every direction, even behind them.

No way out this time.

The Police shouted at them in Bordurian but unable to understand Tintin turned to Krikov.

"They're ordering us to get out with our hands up ... Tintin.. we don't have a choice,"

Tintin slowly extricated himself from the car. Krikov followed. The Police immediately turned them around holding their wrists, slamming them against the front of the bonnet, then handcuffed them. As they were both pulled into the van, he made a promise to himself; don't give in, no matter what they want.

After a five minute drive, the van pulled up sharply outside a large mansion. Army trucks littered the driveway and men marched throughout. Tintin presumed the building served as a base for the Police and the army. Are they preparing for an assault, he considered as the men pulled him towards the door. He didn't get the chance to admire the sheer scale of the mansion's exterior as the men led them straight through the open doors and hallway.

"Separate them and contact the boss,"

"Yes Sir"

Tintin didn't dare argue as the men separated him and Dr Krikov.

This problem is even more complicated than I thought.

As Sponz placed the phone to his ear, he hoped for good news.

"Yes?"

"This is Colonel Sietz. We've got them; Tintin and Dr Krikov,"

Finally, A step in the right direction Sponz thought as a smug grin travelled across his face.

"Excellent. Find out what you can then arrange for their transfer back to base. I'll continue the interrogation here,"

Setting the phone back on the receiver, He sat down opposite Major Radnez, an officer under his command and poured himself a small glass of whiskey.

"I told you I would get him,"

"I don't think Kurvi Tasch shares your optimism," Radnez exclaimed. "What makes you so confident you'll succeed?"

Sponz chuckled, allowing his mouth to contort into a wide grin.

"That would be telling,"

Why is Sponz so confident? Keep reading to find out. TR56
