Thank you so much!

Epilogue:

2022

Cape Canaveral:

All three had light brown hair. They stood by the John Glenn plaque. The team and the Reids greeted each other warmly.

"This place is amazing," Prentiss said.

"The first MIDAS satellites were launched here," Mariella said.

"Congratulations Tara," Reid said.

"Thank," she said. "I hope you get to meet Tim some, day."

"How do you like Boulder?" Felice asked Prentiss.

"It's warmer, but the nights are bitter cold."

"Are you finally settling into retirement Dave?" Reid asked.

"I still consult," he said. "You can't get rid of me that easily."

"I read yours' and Simmons's book twice," Mariella said. "Dad stopped me from reading it a third time."

"I was getting sick of it the third time, I had to edit it," Simmons said with a laugh.

"Did my bake goods travel well?" Garcia asked.

"They were incredible!" Mariella said. "What's your secret extra salt, nutmeg?"

"I'll tell you some day."

J.J. was standing slightly away from the group.

"Felice, you want to give them a tour of the area?" Reid said.

"Sure. No interrupting, Mariella," she said.

"I won't!"

Reid nodded at J.J. and they walked in the opposite direction of the group.

"You've gone from press liaison to unit chief," he said. "That's an impressive career."

"Thank you," she said quietly.

"I know you don't like Felice. I understand. It's okay."

"She toyed with you twenty years," she said. "How do you love her?"

"She taught my daughter to love, she cared about me, and there are some things that there are no words to give description to."

She looked into his eyes.

"I'll always love you."

"I know," he said and looked away.

He picked up her hand.

"Have a good life, J.J." he said and kissed it.

"Are you coming back?"

"I learned I liked living without seeing crime scenes. It's still not entirely safe for us in the states. I've accepted a teaching position at CERN. Felice and Mariella are going to take classes there."

"How long are you going to be in the states?"

"A week," he said.

Felice and the rest of group appeared.

"I've booked the restaurant where the astronauts ate at!"

"Cool," Alvez said.

Felice looked around. Her eyes was filled with wonder.

"This is living a dream!"

"Absolutely," Reid said and kissed her.

It wouldn't be for another few years before the Reids would feel safe to stay in the United States. J.J. and Will would enter couples counseling, and remarry the year before the Reids returned. Reid chose to teach full-time at Quantico. Felice would become a programmer at Langley. Mariella applied for the FBI and became the second-youngest agent ever admitted at twenty-four. Throughout the years, members of the team would keep in touch. Their methods were secret, but they all contained the same codeword:

Apollo

THE END

It was tempting to write a setup for a sequel. After all the torture I put him through, I thought Reid deserved a happily ever after. I can never thank all of you for supporting my love for writing these stories. You show that while the TV series ended several months ago, your love, like mine, hasn't faded. Thank you, and have a great night!
